“Teri’s place was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Communication was prompt and thorough. Check in and out was very smooth snd easy. The apartment location was perfect. Super close to the train and shopping. Everything was so clean and fully appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need. Grocery delivery worked well too. I loved the personal artwork. It was a great touch. I’ll be staying there again.

My 2 kids (middle school aged) came to visit from California while still on virtual learning. We stayed at the West Newport location for 2.5 monthsGreat stay all around. We had plenty of space with my trading downstairs and kids upstairs on wifi for school. Teri and her husband (Neil if I have spelled it correctly who doesnt get mentioned enough on these good reviews) provided PROACTIVE terrific service all around. They did all the little things quickly when they popped up like a small leak, trouble with the wifi connection, trouble with parking one day, etc versus renting to us and vanishing. After the stay, we left a few items and Teri delivered them to the north suburbs herself.Its great to see things opening back up so that they get their business flourishing again versus wondering if they were going to be run out of business. My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home for three weeks in July/August 2020. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay!! The owners, Teri and Neal were very responsive to all of our needs which was much appreciated during this time of COVID-19. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to restaurants and stores - and a lovely neighborhood to just enjoy. The house is extremely well equipped with a gorgeous kitchen and super wonderful shower and bath! The backyard patio was lovely and well-shaded for afternoon enjoyment. Our grandchildren who live nearby were able to visit and Teri provided for all of their needs - highchair, crib, and gates. I can’t imagine EVER staying anywhere else in Chicago. Call Teri and say “Kay sent you!”

SO much better than a hotel in so many ways. It is comfortable inside. Very relaxing and peaceful. Step outside and you are among vibrant neighbors in Wrigleyville. Beautiful, convenient to games, shopping, restaurants...that reminds me... when we needed a recommendation, we called Teri. She’s a fantastic host and ready to help. We spent nearly a week there and it was wonderful. Sweet memories!

We LOVE staying with Teri at Chicago Guesthouse! We have stayed at several of her amazing suites over the years, and we will never stay any where else! We actually plan our trips around her availability! Each suite is beautifully decorated, well appointed, clean and super comfortable! It’s like having our own home away from home, and we love staying in these beautiful properties that are in the perfect location for us!!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home during Spring Break 2018. I have never had a more comfortable or enjoyable stay in a place that wasnt my home. The pictures do not do it justice. I didnt want to leave those comfortable beds. I took a picture of the label on the bed linens but I have since lost it. Could you tell me what kind of cotton sheets you have on the beds? They are the most comfortable sheets I have ever slept on. I thought they were organic cotton but I dont know who makes them. Thank you for allowing a family from Texas to enjoy staying at such a beautiful home.

Perfect location and perfect apartment. Terri provided a true home away from home atmosphere including all the amenities you need. She was very responsive and went above and beyond to answer questions and make the entire process as simple as possible. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Chicago.

I have stayed in every single one of Teris comfortable, centrally located, beautiful apartments over the last 12 years. I am originally from Chicago and I couldnt imagine staying anywhere else when I come to town. A few blocks in any direction is great food, shopping, not to mention Wrigley and the El. Every apartment is full of beautiful artwork, every kitchen accessory, comfortable bedding, I could go on and on. I wish I lived here! Thanks, Teri!

We really enjoyed the Chicago Guest House over the holiday weekend! It was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay and a great location! Teri was great and we really loved her art, as well!

One of my favorite things about coming to Chicago is staying here. Even though both of our daughters live in the city, we enjoy staying here and having our own space. The apt is beautiful, clean and well appointed, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay as well as a wonderful gathering spot. Great walking neighborhood, lots of wonderful restaurants and shopping, close to Wrigley and 2 blocks to the EL for transportation to the rest of the city.The outside backyard is quiet and beautfully landscaped.We highly recommend Chicago Guest House - Teri makes everythign coming and going so easy too.

Its my pleasure to rate both the Newport Ave home and Teri with 5 stars. From initial inquiry to watching the lovely home from our departing rear view mirror we enjoyed every hour spent in this vibrant neighborhood. A couple of blocks to the west is an upscale area of shops and dining, a couple of blocks to the east the enthusiastic Wrigley Field and surrounding nightlife. We had 7 couples, plenty to do as a group or split up into couples. We also had ample room (the home looks exactly like the pictures if not bigger and more comfortable), no challenges, and no regrets! We left the cars parked and walked every where with the exception of one Uber ride. This is a huge plus cuz Chicago is a parking nightmare, both space and expense. We will be back!

Great proximity to Southport shopping and Wrigleyville. We could easily walk to both areas for dining, cocktails, events, and people watching. The place has every convenience, comfortable arrangements, you just cant go wrong!
