It was a pretty good experience, the lady who did my pedicure was thorough and gentle and the one who did my girlfriends was kind of quick, she started after mine and ended before. But the seats were massage chairs and the water was nice and warm, all the employees are super nice. I was hot and they turned the fan on for me. All in all pleasant experience.

It was a really great experience. I would like to add that she was very fast and had great conversation. My nails came out really cute and the shape was exactly what I wanted. They have a nice selection of colors as well. I definitely recommend.

Called to ask for hours (I know its a holiday so Im not going to assume everyone will be open at convenient hours) and I was told they will close at 6pm. I drove literally almost 40+ minutes to get there and I arrive 4:52pm and when I get there, no one actually working there was even in the store except two women who look like theyve already been served (another customer behind me also walks in after me). Someone walks in with blue scrubs after myself and the other customer and she states to us they are now closed for the holiday. I said I called before I arrived and was told they close at 6pm, she said sorry, but were closed. I asked if it was her on the phone I spoke to earlier who said they close at 6pm and she denies it even though shes literally the only one in the store who is an employee. No one deserves to have their time wasted. First time going there; will also be my last.

I got my nails done here with my sister last week. Great atmosphere and perfect service!! I can honestly say probably one of the best gel manicures I have ever had - not just the finished product, but how long it lasted.

This is the second time I tried Q Nails. The first time I had to go back to have Julie fix my nails. I thought I should me give her a second chance, so I tried again today (a month later) Never again! See for your self! This is gel on my own nails! My nails were filed too short with the dremel. The gel is too THICK & FILED HORRIBLY. I have been getting my nails done for 18 years. I have never ever had such a terrible job done on my nails. I am a fool because I tipped her. She told me that she has been doing nails for 14 years and her salon was the best. Julie should be embarrassed to let someone walk out of her salon with their nails looking like mine do!

They fixed one nail for me! Im home visiting so I thought they did an amazing job matching the style and color.

Julie did my nails and Mike did my pedicure. I highly recommend both of them. It was a super pleasant and relaxing experience.

So I had an 11 appointment I was there on time but when I walked in one lady spoke but it was just a hello. Nobody asked what did I need. Employees looked and walked right past me as I waited to tell somebody what I needed. There were 3 people ahead of me who they were grabbing. I dont know if they had appointments or not but I was still left unacknowledged. After 20 minutes somebody finally asked what did I need. I told him I had an 11 o clock appointment so he grabbed me but he kind of hesitated at first and asked the other lady was she waiting on a specific tech. So fnaally I g.et to the chair and he does a great job. I did ask to have chrome on my nails which I didnt get but he probably didnt hear me and after seeing the final color in kinda glad I didnt get the chrome but I would have looked a design. But Ill go back as of right now... The real test is if they break easy before its time for me to go back

I was going to Q-Nails, and I really did like them. I stopped going because I would make an appointment with a specific nail tech and upon arrival, the owner would switch me to someone else and when this happens, it appears that the person I made the appointment with thinks I am the one that chose someone else, and I didnt. I dont have time for their workplace drama and feel uncomfortable with the side eyes and whispers, because the owner is trying to share business with everyone. Even though the person she put with me still did an ok job, its not the person I preferred and if the whole point of making an appointment is to get the tech you prefer, then thats why I schedule them. Otherwise, I would just risk a walk-in and get who I get and be done with it. Anyways, its just too much drama and its unfortunate, because I liked their services when I was actually able to get in with my favorite tech. I mean, am I wrong to think that customers are allowed to have their favorite technicians and not be caught in the middle of some weird politic going on?

I have been a client at Q Nails for 10+ years. Q Nails is the only nail salon that I will ever go to sure the shop is ,clean , friendly, reasonably be priced, but most important I never walk out the door unhappy. My Nail Tech of choice is Karla, my mom sees T you also have Amy, & Julie (the owner) & many other great nail technician. Q Nails has two locations, I go original locations the 1st one is in Chester in the Chester Village Green Shopping Center the other location is in Colonial Heights right next to Books-A-Million at SouthPark Mall. The South Park location is the newer of the two shops & the larger I prefer the Chester location. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I will upload some of the many awesome nail designs BTW ( all done free hand)

Karla and T were amazing! They did my and my daughter’s nail and they came out like the pics on Pinterest. We were walk ins and they took their time and very pleasant. Anyone looking for a great atmosphere and great nails this is the place to go to.

I’ve been going for 6 years and I love this place. I have my pick of who do my nails here. So, to get that person, I call ahead and make an appointment. That helps with my wait. The place stays busy!! Very clean and warm environment.

Everyone spoke good English and had a good personality, which is why I hate to say this. I absolutely hated my nails; they didn’t shave it down, so the base was fat. I got gel and paid 5$ extra for coffin. The gel chipped on 3 days after I got it, and my friends nails lifted after a day.

I have been going to them for the past 10 years and they have always done an amazing job! There was maybe 1 or 2 occasions where I had issues with the polish or nail length and all I did was point it out and they fixed it right away without question! They always go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied with their service. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone that lives in the Chester area!

Ive had several pedicures done here with no problem, and last night made the 3rd time Ive had my nails done. Until last night, Ive had nothing but good experiences and been very pleased. But last night was an off night. Im used to folks who are gentle in their touch and who do a beautiful flawless job on your nails, but last night I had to endure roughness and literally had to stop him at one point because he was stabbing me with the nippers. He was in an obvious hurry. I couldnt see it in their lights but when I got home I found I had two globs of polish, one on my thumb and one on the ring finger...looks odd. And dont ask about the hand massage...not good. Im so used to this being a GREAT place, that this was really disappointing. I will make a point to find out the name of the lady who did mine before and will ask for her from now on.

When dealing with the owner of business, she was very understanding of incident and was very willing 2 correct wrong 2 RIGHT. Thats the service I have always recvd. A business is successful when u have a owner that hears the voice of customers with professionalism. Will remain a loyal customer. Thx 2 great management.

Depending on who is doing your nails this place is okay but really and truly this will be my last time going. Julie did my nails and did them in a rush. My nail shape is uneven and she didnt even check to see if they were. What the other girls do with my nails take an hour she was done in 30. Maybe if she wouldnt of taken 5 person phone calls while trying to do my nails it would have been better. Her loss though as I generally tip above and beyond if my nails look good.

I have had a problem in the past with my nails lifting if they’re not done properly.. I went in & explained I needed extra cleaning around my cuticles. Had a new set done by Julie, she told me they wouldn’t lift & guess what??!! no lifts!!!! That’s what I look for in a good technician..Julie is fast & does quality work. I have become a customer forever! My pedis here have been ok, I have had better, But my nails are PERFECT ❤️ They’re everything I expected them to be!! I’ve gotten sooo many compliments!

I showed up around 745 assuming like all the other nails salons they closed at 8pm (im not from here i just used google) and saw the open sign I went in and no one came to assist me at all i started to worry maybe someone was hurt but I yelled was anyone there and no one answered i guess they just left the front door unlocked to the salon i left after a couple minutes and calling the salon to realize the voicemail was full i left a note

Literally the worst nail salon Ive ever come across. I get my nails/feet done on a biweekly basis, and this salon was by far the worst. Under normal circumstances, I go to a salon in Henrico. But I was spending the weekend in Chester with a friend and we wanted a girls day. The guy doing my pedicure did not even bother to shave the dead skin off my feet. The water was not warm, the painting of my toes was awful, and they had polish all over them after he was done. It was like there was no effort put into the pedicure, he was just looking to get it done. When I was done, the soles of my feet were still rough, and he told me it was because my feet were dry yet at all other places my feet were smooth. And why would my feet be dry if I just spent an hour getting a pedicure? Then I got a full set, and the experience became worse. I got a full gel French manicure. The shape - completely uneven and AWFUL. The shape is horrid. The size - uneven. All of my fingers are different shapes and sizes. Again, I go to nail salons biweekly, and I understand it will never be perfect. And Im not a picky person. But I stress to you that the shape and size of my nails are horrible. Not only that, the gel is terrible quality. Already, my nails are chipping. Not the paint, the actual nails. $71 for a terrible pedicure and full set. Will not bring my business back here. Next time, Ill just wait it out until Im back on my side of town & get quality service for the price.

They are excellent at doing nails and feet and they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible sometimes it dont work but patience does help

Ive been to every nail salon in chester and I promise this is the absolute best. Ive never left unhappy, you couldnt pay me to go anywhere else. Ignore any bad reviews, they are do to ignorance and unreliable information. The employees do wonders and work non stop even if they have to skip lunch. The prices are totally reasonable for the services you will recieve. Julie runs an amazing business and the employees are awesome!
