I just moved to the area, decided to get my nails filled and with a gel polish. I also got a pedicure which was amazing. But my nails are horrible. The person rushed. Burnt and cut my cuticles with the drill and already not even 24 hours my polish is chipping. The acrylic is not even smooth. I had to go home and smooth it out even more towards my cuticle line. Stay away.

I am really picky about which nail salon I go to in the Richmond area because I have been to some really bad ones.. I stumbled across this place and I was not disappointed. The staff were the friendliest people I have dealt with at a salon. They talked to me, carried on a conversation with me and kept me engaged. Their selection of services was outstanding. With prices that varied so it appealed to every one. I loved the quality of their pedicure, the lady actually took her time instead 9f rushing through it. The lady doing my nails made sure they were even, smooth and perfect.I was not disappointed in the least and will be making this my go to salon!

Vivian is the best nail tech here. She’s fast and very creative with her styles and will make sure she has time to squeeze me and my sister in when needed.

I do not know about any of the other techs but I only go to Vivian. She is the bomb! I schedule to see her and her only. I am never disappointed with my nails. I get my natural nails almond shaped with dip powder. She’s does a fantastic job with any design I get. The current design I have now is marble and before that I had ombré. I don’t trust anyone else with my nails 😊❤️

Terrible experience. The first woman did a horrible job shaping my dip powder nails. I told her that she needed to fix it because my nails were extremely crooked and she started raising her voice. I immediately asked for someone else. Vanessa had to fix three of the nails. Thanks Vanessa. That first woman was rude, obnoxious and lack professionalism. I hope that another customer doesnt have to go through this experience.

Unfriendly, wasnt offered any refreshments, unpleasant 1st & last experience. Waited over an hour for someone to finish my pedicure. No one bothered to acknowledge my unfinished treatment. You didnt care when I was there so Please Stop acting like you care now. The Only reason youre replying is bc of the review I made. You acted as if I wasnt important at that place.

My tech who did one of the best jobs Ive had at a nail salon. Did not hurt me one time, was very thorough and did a great job. All employees were beautiful.

Very good atmosphere and clean. My technician was knowledgeable of the colors, so much that I allowed him to choose my colors. I love the colors he chose for me. I will be honored to go there again.

I had been here a couple times in the past and recently came in for a pedicure and dip powder nails. I think theyre all about quantity over quality here.It was $90, and not even 2 weeks later the paint started to chip from my toe nails, which usually last me weeks to months. This was my first time trying the dip powder and had a similar complaint. The nail tech didnt prepare my nail bed by pushing back my cuticles, so naturally, my nails grew out, and didnt look good a week and a half later, as well as the clear top coat started to chip. The color was much darker than the sample, it was very dull and not shiny, and had some lumps. Im pretty sure the point of getting acrylics or powder dip is for them to last at least a few weeks. I certainly wouldnt pay that much to get my nails done every 10 days. Especially when they look mediocre.

I was looking for gel nail, And I found Kittys Nails & Esthetics. I was first impressed by their worm welcome. The place is really nice and the stuffs are amazing. I found the best saloon both for quality and price. Loved to come again soon.

My 1st experience with Lin was amazing during my 1st visit to this salon. I got gel nail, pedicure, eyebrows, & cluster lash extensions. I felt beautiful and refreshed when I left. It was so amazing that I referred my mother and insisted my husband come along with me. Lin truly made me feel the spa experience. She provided great customer service along with conversation.My 2nd experience with Tracy was mediocre. My dipped nails chipped after one day. I now know the coating was to light. My pedicure that was done by a different older nail technician was rushed (Sorry I don’t know her name).Today after my experience with TT or GG (she would not give me her correct name) sadly made me come to the conclusion that this is not where I should be spending my hard earned money. Her customer service was hideous and insulting. She became passive aggressive when I politely informed her that I no longer wanted a ombré nails because she could not do them the way I wanted. Instead I just wanted regular dipped nails. In her language she spoke about me as if I was not there. (I know she was speaking about me because every other word that came out her mouth was ombré and full nail. She even started handling my hands roughly) I became furious when the older nail technician, a male nail technician, & even Lin engaged in the conversation. Lin said in English to her customer that it was to was to early to be difficult. My response was I merely requested ombré dipped nails & I don’t understand how that’s being difficult if TT/GG could not perform the service & I changed my service to something simple. This is the worst $90 I spent at a nail salon. Please don’t let the decor blind you of the nasty customer service. I strongly do not recommend this establishment!

I had an appointment and did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for my time. My pedicure was done with care and safety measures. Also had an excellent eyebrow waxing. Would recommend and will continue to use again. I am new to this area coming from Miami and was happy I tried this place first.

We had an appointment took us right in only one person waiting. The girls that worked on my husband and me were AWFUL!!! Seemed as if we were bothering them. Only spend 15 min.on doing our pedicure. Put one coat of polish on and my husband normally get clear but they didnt want to do that either and rushed us out. It was NOT closing time but 2 pm. Over 90.00 in 15 min....who thinks thats a good deal? Dont waste your money...they could careless.

Best nail bar Ive been too, there very gentle, Im a stickler for anyone that hurts me round edges of my fingers, staff are lovely very friendly, always remember you, offer you tea/coffee when it isnt too busy as I can be quite busy, I tend to go earlier morning when its not as busy.

This shop has been there a while and Ive always wanted to try it. I love the aesthetic of the shop, they were busy but that did not bother me it was well worth the wait! I was greeted by everybody when I walked in, and I believe Tina was my nail tech, she was phenomenal! I got a manicure, spa pedicure, with gel polish for both. She did wonders cause my feet were bad, they looked and felt brand new when she was done! Today was my birthday and she made me feel wonderful, I will definitely be back!

Not impressed for my first visit. Older lady rushed through the service. I was going to get gel on my hands and feet but after seeing her rush through the service I said absolutely not. Will not pay all that money for a rushed service. Nails and toes were not filed correctly and the lady was just tired and ready to go home. My advice; don’t take clients money if you’re not going to provide them with the service that they deserve.

The service did not match the beautiful decor!! I walked in to be serviced, as I did not have an appointment. The gentleman ask how he could help- I informed him of the services my daughter and I wanted. He told me it would be a 30 minute wait -which was understandable with no prior appointment. 10 minutes later an older women walked over and stated that she was ready to help. I sat down to be serviced for an pedicure, which at that time I did not feel welcomed at all with her lack of social skills. As she rushed my pedicure and behaved in a manner of complete annoyance that she had to service me. She asked me - pointing to my son if that was my Son. I replied yes and her and the teammate once again talked in their native language. Really rude and unprofessional. The teammate next to her stared at my feet the entire time making me feel really uncomfortable(Please inform your workers that it’s completely rude to stare!! Needless to say that I often treat myself to pedicures so there was nothing much for her to see pertaining my feet. Finally, another lady became available to service my daughter, well she walked by where I was being serviced for my pedicure and stared at me with an dirty look. My daughter stated that her servicer treated her in the same manner(Rushing through services)and then she finally lightened up where she stopped rushing through the service( Acrylic nails). I was supposed to get an overlay filling for my nails but I passed because the service was so horrible. I don’t plan on returning, and don’t recommend this place at all.Also, if they have a problem servicing brown women then maybe they should consider another field to work in!! I noticed that one other brown women was being serviced but she was in the very back. Two other brown women walked in and wasn’t acknowledged until after they were walking out of the door. This service is so disappointing and unacceptable.

The lady that does the eyelashes does amazing work. She is gentle with each single lash. For this appt it is 2 hours so do not bring your child. I been going to this place for 3 fill in. Be patient with her, your eyes will come out beautiful.

My nail service was beyond unprofessional the mail lady kept trying to get smart with me when I asked her why my hands were so messy. She had the liquid splashing why did the liquid hit my arm I felt like a 3 year old was trying to paint on my nails . She had liquid all over my hands and then she kept filing my pinky nail that it’s raw . It hurts so bad I will never go back if you go and they sit you down in the back of the nail salon to the left get up and run for your nails life . The owner Vanessa had the nerve to take off $3 what can I do with that then asked me was I happy now no . Your up here trying to get the mail liquid off my skin with acetone that mind you it’s still on if I can post pictures I will . The nail tech needs to go to take customer service classes and classes to get her skills on track this was the worst service ever.

I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done! They did the best acrylic nails and pedicure Ive ever gotten. It is absolutely worth paying a little extra for the deluxe pedicure! The service is absolutely outstanding as well.

I love this place. They do wonderful work and have a great selection of colors. My dip manicures often lasts 4 weeks. Prices are reasonable for the high quality.

Got gel tips done on Sunday, lady filed the sides of my nails so aggressively, using a VERY coarse grit file that I had to put neosporin on them when I got home and theyre still a little sore today (Tuesday am) Im actually a little worried about how theyll grow out. Not only that but a liquid gel manicure is 65 dollars?? She was nice and all but I dont think Ill be back. Oh and one of the nails is messed up already 😒

John is such an A hole. I do not recommend him to anybody. He is such a fakie, he is very rude to the receptionist and also curses at them and belittles them in front of everybody, that is very unprofessional. The owner needs to fire him asap!!!!!!!!!!

The service I received was so poor! The nail tech rushed through my entire pedicure and put at least 5 layers of nail polish on my toes. I had to ask her to do one of the nails over again because the polish was clumpy. The nail polish was all over my feet when she was done. Just extremely sloppy. The sandal for the pedicure broke, she didn’t want to replace it so she cut it. I was just so confused by the whole experience. This lady was HORRIBLE! I came here based off the the great reviews but I will not be returning. Also, with the exception of the receptionist and a few of the nail techs, people were so unwelcoming and rude. Rolling their eyes and what not. I can’t. I could’ve done this poor nail job on my own.

I dont feel like I was treated like other customers. I wasnt offered anything to drink when other customers were. My hot rock pedicure felt rushed. I got a full set med length and was charged extra $5 for the length. Their website said short to medium is no extra charge. I felt the nail Tech was trying to give herself a tip by changing me extra. I would have tipped well had she not tried to cheat me. Wished she had reated me like other customers & not rushed my service. Probably wont be back.

My daughter and I love Kitty’s. We get pedicures and dip nails. Have never had a problem. I have visited another nail salon close by and I don’t know if it is the techs or the products they use but they don’t compare to Kitty’s.

I had a nail re-painted (gel). Walked in and was seen with very little wait. Of course I went at 10am though.

My daughter and friend got eyelashes done and my friends camecon rhat night and my duaghter work up with swollen eyes and had to go somewhere else to have the adhesive whick the eye lash tech removing them said it was a fomaldihyde base girl kind of like hair glue was used to attach her eyelashes. I called the manager and she said to bring her up there we did they showed what rhey used and offer nothing no compensation this is bad business and we will never support this buiness ever again! I hope if this happens to anyone else yoy have better luck

I decided to try this nail salon out after reading decent reviews. I made an appointment for a full set and a pedicure. My appointment lasted LESS than an hour for a full set and spa pedicure. I’ve never in my life felt so rushed. The total for just the service was $115 and absolutely not worth it. The technician missed sides of my nails and also on my toes. Too add onto that, I have an ingrown toenail forming and I am getting married in 2 days. I will now need to spend more money elsewhere to have everything fixed.

Great pricing and they offer many services. After going here one time, I was hooked. There is no other salon that has the quality that this one has. I went in on Friday for a pedicure, which was great. The nail technician asked me if I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I agreed and asked the cost and was told $10 plus I believe she said $7. I ended up being charged $29 for the tint and wax, I’m not sure if that’s even what I should have been charged. I got home from the waxing and tinting and my eyelids hurt and I looked in the mirror and there is burn marks. It is now scabbing over and looks absolutely terrible. I am so upset. The lady was super nice and the place was clean, but this is very disappointing.

Scheduled basic mani/pedis with a friend. Didn’t seem ready for us (we didn’t get to sit together) and they seemed to rush through the process—sloppy painting, hardly any exfoliating, no nail buffing, etc. My friend’s polish keeps denting as she uses her hands hours later. Also their facility did not feel clean. The staff was polite and nice but overall it was not a good value.

I went here just to get one nail fixed, and a technician told me they were too busy to fix my nail.. that is the very unprofessional. If i come to an establishment to spend money on services then I expect my nail to be fixed and not turned away for services. I will never go to this nail shop again.

I asked for a geometric style and provided the inspiration picture. I did not like the end result and returned the next day to change the polish. With yet another inspiration picture, my nails still did not look like the image so I opted for a solid color. This salon has modern decor but dated talent. The techs only want to upsell you on the service but don’t take the time to actually listen to your preferences beyond a simple solid color job. Despite it all, customer service is pleasant and the salon is clean.
