I took my vehicle in to the Dealership service shop to correct a recall problem with the seat switches on both front seats. The service advisor was nice and courteous upon arrival and they quickly informed me that the service would require more time to perform than originally estimated so I could take the courtesy shuttle to a destination which I chose to go back to my house. Upon completion of the recall repair and complimentary car wash, I received a text saying a shuttle driver would be arriving shortly to pick me up and take me to the dealership to get my vehicle (GLC 300). Recall was covered under warranty and all costs taken care of, so no out of pocket expense to me. Overall great customer experience. Thanks to all!

This is an exceptional group of people. We were traveling from PA on Skyline Drive. We broke down after 20 miles in the middle of the national park requiring a tow truck. Not a great place to need a tow truck. Tiffany and her team went into action and they did everything they could to get us fixed up and back on the road before noon the next day. Needless to say I wish there were more people in this world like Tiffany, Ragina and their team. The world would be a better place. We are grateful for the service we received as they went to extra mile. Tiffany even help us locate a hotel and a ride to (after hours) and from the hotel. They turned a stressful negative experience into a positive experience. They allowed us to continue our trip and see they things we originally made the trip for.I wish this dealership was in my area as they really know how to make a person feel important.This is a tough industry to work in, I know from experience. This team deserves nothing but respect and gratitude. Came in without an appointment for tire deflation. No problem! Found a nail in one; advised I should get two, but researched my prior tire issues to confirm replacement history. Got one tire prorated. Treated well and very professionally. Especially enjoyed Lewis O. Warren, Jr. who serviced my car!He could not have been more accommodating or attentive. I even left with a car wash!

After shopping the internet for months, I found exactly what I wanted at a competitive price at Mercedes of Charlottesville. Living in the Roanoke area it was an easy drive to get to. They also gave me a good trade in offer. Zack Corbin walked us through the whole process. From a phone call, to an exit with a congratulation sign. So fun!! I was thrilled with the 2 new sets of floor matts, and of course buying from a dealer knew it was well checked over. New tires too. The whole experience was pretty wonderful. I had a bad experience with Mercedes of Richmond and came into Charlottesville with a bad taste in my mouth but was pleasantly surprised to find the friendly staff and quick turnaround on parts. The parts manager was very quick to jump in and help me find the parts I needed and get me in to have them installed. Very pleased.

I have to commend the service folks here for their assistance. Especially Ragina Fitz who did everything she could to help us. Our Sprinter CEL came on and we had to limp in. They dont service the Sprinter but made calls to roadside service and to the closest dealer in Richmond that could help. Greatly appreciate the support from the staff while waiting for a tow to RVA. Thanks!

The Service Department was FANTASTIC! I received prompt communication and excellent service to remedy two recall issues. Even though I have an older model, I was treated like I was the owner of the newest, most expensive Benz. After a horrible experience with Richmond Va MB ( see review elsewhere) Charlottesville MB outdid themselves . My 2006 e350 had a brake failure (apparently sporadic). After richmond MB Sent me home without fixing the problem, I called Charlottesville MB. They sent a flatbed to pick the car up. They spent quite a while diagnosing the problem. The sbc unit and the brake reservoir were both at fault, and both were under a 25 yr warranty. I was charged nothing for all of their work. I am forever indebted to these great people

Customer service should always be first at a dealership. Unfortunately that did not happen here maybe because I was not buying a Mercedes. I bought a car that I told General Mgr that my car needed tires before I left. He insisted it passed inspection in it did. My tires were bald. How does a customer buy a car with bald tires and you dont care about your customers safety. I called the Mgr Chris he did nothing. Im baffled at the service least to say. I have only had the car 1 month n 2 weeks in need tires.

Best dealer Ive ever been to! Following going through the purchasing process with personable and easy to talk to Duane, I had minor issues with the car. The manager Ron, who is great by the way, was quick to get on the case and Megan and Tiffany in service were truly fantastic! Any possibility of this being a negative experience was eliminated immediately and the issue was resolved in a timely manor. They have most certainly earned a long term costumer and lots of positive word of mouth from me! :)

Had an appointment at Lynchburg Mercedes September 30. Car would not start and Mercedes insisted on towing to Charlottesville since 10 miles closer. Went online and soonest appt was October 16 in Cvlle. Asked them to look into it earlier and when they had not even looked at it by October 19, Mercedes paid at their expense to have towed to Lynchburg.Four year ago on another Mercedes, Charlottesville wanted $4,400 for major engine work that Lynchburg did for $1,200.Buy a car there if you wish, but run as fast as you can to Berglund in Lynchburg for service.

I have several Mercedes and have visited several dealerships to have work done. These guys have been by far the best!!! Megan and Tiffany in service are thorough, flexible, conscientious and extraordinarily pleasant to work with. The service itself has also been superb, they have solved some major issues that other dealerships simply couldnt or wouldnt. Charlottesville is a fair hike for me, but totally worth it......I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I cannot overstate my impression of arrogance and perhaps incompetence at this car dealership.I made my concerns known at the day of a repair department appointment, again several days later by telephone, again via the national Mercedes Benz complaint website and a fourth time by mail.None of these 4 efforts to obtain even comment much less resolution have brought any response from the dealership.Not a call, no email, no letter, no response at all.This is a copy of the letter sent to them on 5/28/2020Mercedes Benz of CharlottesvilleChris BlinkinsophGeneral ManagerDear SirOn 5/5/20 I brought my 2001 MB CLK 430 in for a specific service outcome.I was charged $607.96 and the requested service was not completed and I am requesting a refund of the payment.I dropped the car off and wrote a ticket for the drop off box which stated specifically that I wished to spend the least amount of money to stop the display of a fault message stating the SOS/TelelAide system was malfunctioning.I was called by Ragina Fitz and was told that the diagnosis would take an hour of time to which I agreed and then later called by the same person and was told that a part needed to be ordered and that the repair could be completed with another 3 hours of labor plus the cost of the part. I was not told that the extra costs may not fix the stated problem. As I expected the requested outcome, I authorized that expense.I picked up the car on 5/6/20 and paid the invoice 511760. I noticed as I drove away the same malfunction warning message was displayed on the dash. The requested service was not completed.I immediately called the service department and spoke with a service advisor, perhaps Lewis Warren, as Ragina Fitz had departed for the day, and was advised to return the car which I did minutes later. I am not sure the car was then even taken back into the service area and was told by another service advisor, perhaps Tiffany Brown, that the display message problem could not be remedied without additional parts and cost. I indicated to her that that was not acceptable and that I either desired a refund or that the service I requested be completed without extra cost.I drove the car away and it was my impression that I would be contacted the next day by the service department.Hearing nothing from the service department, several days later I called and spoke to Ragina Ftiz and reviewed the above information and requested a refund. She stated that she needed to research the service tickets and would call back.I have had no return communication from the service department and have now sold the car. The option of completing the requested service at no extra charge is not available now due to the delay in researching the service and a return call to me, and a refund is in order.The service advisors were courteous, but have not addressed my concerns.I used the dealership service department as that is the business that is represented as the highest level of service expertise available for MB cars. I do not expect phrases like “we hoped this would work” after paying $607. That might be acceptable for a shop with a lower level of expertise, but not a dealership.Another item is that the invoice shows a charge for 5 adapters. My impression was that only one fiber optic adaptor was necessary and I am not sure even that one was used.Please refund $607.96 to the credit card account by COB 6/3/20.SincerelyCc Mercedes Benz complaints via email: [email protected]

Tiffany Brown was so kind and caring and explained to me everything that needed to be done. She took care of every single detail for me! Tiffany also had them clean my car and vacuum it. My first phone call to Anthony gave me a glimpse into the excellent customer service I would receive from start to finish in the Charlottesville service department.My car was just serviced in Columbus Ohio three days prior and a nail removed from a tire. The Columbus Mercedes dealership patched the tire.I was a half hour into my business trip to Virginia from Columbus when the tire pressure light came on.I called the Charlottesville dealership to schedule an appt. Anthony was so kind in the phone, and I felt he truly sympathized with my plight.He let me know it would be no trouble getting in to have the tire looked at, a loaner car could be provided, or even a shuttle if needed.He was just as terrific in person once I arrived at the dealership.My tire patch was replaced, my car washed, and I was able to work in the comfort of their lounge as the repair was being done.The staff was very friendly and greeted me as they passed by and also checked to see if they could get anything for me while I waited.The service was completed in short order. Anthony gave me his card and encouraged me to call him if I needed anything.I was thanked for my business and sent off with a nice firm handshake and a big smile as he walked me to my car.Superior customer service!!Thank you.

We were traveling from The Jersey Shore and Sunday night we damaged a tire. Needless to say we were very upset and didn’t know what to do. Mercedes has been very good to us in PA and NJ so we decided to got MB of Charlottesville Monday. WOW! We arrived at 7:30 AM distraught and upset and they took care of us right away. Had my Mercedes towed to them after it had a mechanical issue and it took them over a week to repair it. While I understand service departments get busy, we had to constantly call them to find out what was happening with the vehicle. Plus, when I initially showed up at the service department to get the process of the repair started I was ignored by the staff, for an unreasonable point of time before they even acknowledge my presents. One staff member, while she did have a customer, was discussing personal stuff with them and never even looked up to say hello... Very disappointed

I’m a newly converted Mercedes driver having switched over from over 10 years with BMW. The cars are pretty equal frankly so I won’t belabor the pros and cons of each (although I will say Mercedes seems to have the edge on quality and reliability).What tips the scales for me is the dealership. Mercedes has that hands down. From the front of the showroom to the service bays, I’ve had nothing but the kind of service and support one would expect from a luxury car dealer. In fact, my expectations (although somewhat jaded by the abysmal service at BMW) have been exceeded every time.Keep up the great work!

I had to change my review after being totally ignored by the sales staff and General Managers. I was trying to buy a previously owned ML, but the sales department ignored me, my emails, and never even returned phone calls. I found the front office to be totally lacking in customer service or attention to potential clients. The Service Department should be rated at least 4-stars but you have to rate the entire dealership so since I cant leave zero stars...Ill give them one in honor of an excellent Service Department staff!

I brought my car in for an A service and a state inspection. I had already had the oil changed, tires rotated, and DEF filled; so I asked that those not be included. Megan told me the State Inspection was basically an A service minus those things, so she suggested skipping the A service. I get the state inspection gratis. Her honesty was great and increased my level of trust in the service department.The broccoli salad was great! (Megan offered me some of the left over from lunch the dealership had to go with the sandwich I brought with me while I waited.)

I bought my Mercedes in February, and the experience was great. Bill Lyttle was fantastic and patient, answering all of my questions. My 16 year-old was in a small accident in my new car only a month later. Browns Collision Service was wonderful, and Bill even came to pick me up and take me to work after I dropped off my car for repairs. Just last week I smelled something burning in the exhaust and Megan was so helpful. She took my car without an appointment and had my car back to me just a few hours later. There was no issue - but Browns did an entire review of my car. Wonderful people - great service!

We had a flat while visiting Charlottesville We were towed to the dealership after service hours. Dropped the keys off thinking we may have to get a rental to get home the next day. Early the next morning we were contacted by Megan to say the service department already had our car in the shop and was fixing the tire. They also performed a required Mercedes audio update and washed and detailed our vehicle. A shuttle was sent to pick us up and we were back on the road by noon. Awesome!

My engine light came on exactly one day before I planned to return home after vacationing nearby. I was 400+ miles away from home and was afraid they would not be able to help on such short notice. Not too mention there was also a tornado warning in effect and I was afraid that the area may lose power and be forced to close early. These folks at Brown Mercedes...now Mercedes Benz of Charlottesville, surpass my high expectations consistently. I dropped by without appointment to have a state inspection when I found out I was due. I was served with their characteristic friendly professionalism AND they cleaned my filthy car!...in and out! What a great dealership and experience! I made the trip on Saturday from Norfolk to Charlottesville to purchase my new SLK from Theo, Charles and Bob. They were professional and had everything ready so we didnt spend a ton of time with paperwork and could just enjoy the new car on the drive home. I will call them again before I purchase again. Great team and dealership.

We just moved my daughter from Nebraska to Virginia for college and I wanted to make sure she was in good shape with her vehicle before we left .We went into Mercedes and talk to Megan the service advisor and she got us right in the same day and looked over the whole vehicle and came back with several different critical issues that needed to be addressed.Two very important ones were that the outside of the tires looked new but the inside had cords showing on the tires and the brake line was leaking . Being a mechanic in my younger days I verified everything they said along with several different items and Found that they were all true.I plan on getting the vehicle repaired there for honesty is very important and Mercedes always gives top quality work.To top it off when we got the car back they washed it after driving 1600 miles across the country shined the Rims and vacuumed it!!Good job Megan ...we look forward to having our vehicle serviced and Maintenanced at your location !!I would highly recommend this Mercedes dealership for your needs !

Good dealer, very efficient, friendly, fast, and EXTREMELY CLEAN professional business. The service department was very nice, and fast with getting my car in and out very quickly!! Love the entire place. If you need your car serviced there go to Josh Pullin he worked on my car and was very efficient, the work was fantastic, and clean.
