I have been supporting this business for a long time. The lack of service, communication, and urgency today will not make me return. I had an appointment scheduled. However, after 30 minutes of waiting and not receiving service or communication regarding the extenuating wait, I left without the receptionist trying to figure out the cause of the wait. The only solution offered was to reschedule due to a client “probably” adding on another service. If there are schedule changes, a call before or informing as I walked in would have been appreciated.

I enjoyed my first visit here. The salon is beautiful. The measures to ensure safety are in place. I enjoyed being the only client of my technician and not having to wait. It is more expensive than what Ive paid elsewhere, but elsewhere my nails werent as nice, I had to wait, I felt rushed, and the atmosphere wasnt as pleasant. I appreciate quality and well pay for it accordingly. I will be back!

I really struggled with writing this review but as I have not heard from the business, reviews are a good outlet to discuss my experience. My biggest disappointment is this place charges tax and there are no taxes on services in Meck County. I still left a cash tip for my service because there did not appear to be a manager or owner to discuss this. Unfortunately I check receipts often because lots of businesses behave in this misconduct. My service was a 1.5. I had Quay. She was late but apologized a couple of times, so I was willing to put that aside. She also was very chatty with her coworkers, often pausing my service to speak with them. She spent several minutes discussing booking a service with her coworker. Through her conversations I also found out some top earners were leaving the salon. She lazily did my gel manicure that of course is chipping, and I had to keep turning on the lamp when it would cut off. Very unimpressed and will not return.

I absolutely love this place and the atmosphere. I called before my arrival and was greeted by the sweetest lady who got me booked for an appointment immediately! Came in early and was seat right away by the friendly staff here. I will be back and very soon!!! Black owned and worth EVERY PENNY!! The location is a little tucked away but for a pointer, it’s on the end of the suites where All Uniforms is located, you won’t regret spending your time or money here!

Jocelyne is amazing. I travel all the way from steele creek to get my nails done. She’s creative, precise and very nice.

This was my first time at this spa and I had a really good experience. Bri did my pedicure and she did a great job. She took her time and I felt like I actually had time to relax. Usually I fell like the nail tech rushes through the service. The atmosphere was claming and they were very clean. I will definitely be back.

I was able to schedule an appt for two people today and come back about a hour later! I highly recommend making an appointment in advance however!!! (I scheduled my next pedicure appt before leaving!) Being a license Nail Tech I can be very critical so I think my review can be very helpful! Eliana did a wonderful job for me. I was able to relax and didnt give my two cents on my pedicure!!! I loved my toes!!! Tuarae (Mgr & dont try to schedule her shes for special people😉) did my husbands pedicure and he was very pleased. We loved the atmosphere and how personal the staff was once we arrived!! They cleaned up immediately when we were done... Big plus in my book!! I was glad to be able to do a pedicure with a plus one at a African American owned nail location in Charlotte and Im going to tell everyone I know!!! Great job!!!

My 1st time wont be my last time...Bre was great!!!

Ive been going here for a while but unfortunately this will be my last time frequenting this establishment. Im not comfortable being REQUIRED to tip 15%. I always tip; I tip what I can, when I can. The notion of being REQUIRED to tip 15% does not sit well with me. What if I didnt receive service worth 15%? What if I only have enough to tip% 13 or 14%? I was just here 2 weeks ago and was able to select my tip. I was actually looking forward to a bi-weekly pedicures with the change in weather, and had already scheduled an appointment 2 weeks from now for both my daughter and myself that I will be canceling; I cannot continue to support a business that REQUIRES me to tip a specific amount.

Trying a new nail salon can be challenging so I looked at reviews and wanted to give it a try. I got the dip powder service and it looks great!! Eleana is amazing! Her attention to detail is just what I need because Im picky. Thank you for a great service.

They did a wonderful job on my pedicure and gel manicure. I especially love how they have safety measures in place for COVID-19 such as taking your temperature and having you fill out a questionnaire prior to your services. They also have a plexiglass partition to separate you and the nail technician when getting a manicure. The salon is beautiful and they have high quality polishes. This is a great place to get your nails done!

After moving to a new city, one of the first things I am on the hunt for, is my new go to nail salon. I know we’re all hesitant about trying a new place when you’ve been going somewhere else for years. My hunt is officially over. The place is clean, the people are professional and the vibe is just amazing. They are going above and beyond with precautionary measures in light of Covid-19. Just mask up, be ready to have your temperature taken, and enjoy your time of pampering. I cannot wait to go back in 2 weeks!

My husband and I went there for our anniversary this past weekend! I was truly amazed at the welcome, hospitality, and essence of the environment. The technicians Brittany and Quay were awesome; very professional, excellent customer service. They provided great conversation and also put my husband at ease of even being there. Being able to support a Black Owned Business was great and should be done way more. I know this is definitely my salon of choice! Everyone please check it out; you will not be disappointed!!!

This was an absolute amazing experience. From the moment I went in till I left it was absolutely phenomenal. I was timid to even go bc of the pandemic but seeing how they clean after each person has been in a chair or at a nail booth was very comforting! The check temps at the door and the receptionist is so very nice! I didn’t have to wait at all!!! The music was perfect with the calm atmosphere. I received a mani and pedi and both were phenomenal! I received one of THE BEST experiences ever at Elevation Beauty and Nail Spa a couple days ago. From booking my appointment over the phone with the wonderful receptionist, to the courtesy reminder via text, receiving great customer care and service by Brittany (manicurist), and seeing pleasant camaraderie & the beautiful relationship between Mariel (owner) and her team. Every customer receiving a service appeared relaxed while being pampered, as should be with any upscale and top notch spa as Elevation! I also loved how they also offer natural 10-Free Vegan Nail Polish, and LED instead of UV when drying nails. I’m a native Charlottean who comes back home to visit often. I am proud of Mariel for establishing this nail spa in the university area. Elevation will forever be included in my must to-do stops when visiting family and friends.♥️

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Been coming here since it opened and have never had an issue. They are all about quality and do not make you feel like a number like other places do. The owner is super sweet! She has by far the best spa in Charlotte. Other spa owners could learn a thing or two from her and how she runs her business. As for sanitation, they open new files, buffers, cuticle pushers for each customer. I have never been in any other spa where they toss tools after someone is in there. The owner definitely makes sure things are always clean. She jumps in to help clean the foot tubs or do other things if they are super busy. I highly recommend this place!!!

I had an amazing experience at this nail spa! I’ve been in Charlotte 20 years and this is the first nail spa I’ve been to where everything is neat, and the employees are warm & knowledgeable. I walked in and was greeted wonderfully by the owner & was serviced within 2 mins of walking in with a drink menu. They have a generous choice of colors including a full line of vegan nail polish. The nail techs gave me tips on how properly take care of my nails and aftercare. The atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and spacious. I recommend bringing a night cap because the pedicure massage is so relaxing you may fall asleep! Located in a great area close by eatery and the Boardwalk! I will be back again with friends & family!

I really enjoyed my experience here and it had to be the best polish that Ive ever received. I only ever get my natural nails done and they look phenomenal afterwards. Dont come here expecting the traditional nail spa experience with massage chairs and being rushed out the door. I left feelong just as if not more relaxed. The aromatherapy options were good, my massage was thorough and she asked me along the way if I was comfortable, like the shape etc. I really appreciate the attention to detail and tranquility they provide.

Hands down the best pedi spot , I had an appointment with Leslie and she was great we conversated the whole time. She even recommended a cute color to go with the color I already picked out. I love a nail place I can go to and actually have a conversation with the tech. VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER!! I wanted to treat my new daughter in law to a spa day. So she suggested we try this new place she heard about from her friend. So we went to Elevation Beauty and Nails, a place I’d never been and will NEVER go back!! The place was nice at first glance ...But it is weeks later and my feet have broke out with something. So I go to two doctors (my family and a foot specialist) I’m told I have plantar warts. Not just one buy several on BOTH feet that popped up literally overnight ! The doctor has stated since I’ve not had exposure to anything that could have contaminated me other than having a pedicure I contracted the HPV virus on my feet from this pedicure I received from them ! I’m so angry ! Im currently following up with the state license board the health department and consumer affairs! Never have been upset from a spa day ! I would beware of this place!! I stopped by to discuss it with the owner but she was not there and has not reached out to me since! This is why I’m reviewing them publicly ! They probably think it will pass and I’ll go away. But I’m not! I’m going to make sure they acknowledge this issue!! If you had an issue after being treated here please let people know so this doesn’t happen to another person! As for my feet I will never go here again!! They’re dirty in shiny package!

I have one complaint...I needed a nap after that amazing massage and there was no place to lay down...THANK YOU BRITTANY! I just moved here last week from DC and searched the internet for a place to go. I read the reviews and they had the best. I called and got a very customer friendly lady who explained the services and she made me an appointment for the next day. I arrived 10 min early and check in was 2 seconds. My technician was finishing up her client and immediately started preparing for me. Appt was at 1 and I was in a chair at 1:02 exactly. I was offered a drink of juices. Brittany introduced herself and went to work. The chair, bowl, and music were all in sync. Who needs a massage chair. She literally put me to sleep. I got the elevate pedicure and didn’t want to leave. The aromas and everything were so relaxing. I am very very picky because I get ingrown toe nails and I want them out. She did it. I want the chair at my house. I want Brittany at my house haa haa haa. I am used to acrylic on my natural nails and they do not do that. They only do natural products, so I will come back to try the natural products with an appointment. I didn’t have one today for the nails and they were busy, which is very understandable. I will come back and hopefully will have the same experience. Based on the reviews, I should. They work hard and stay busy so I understand the Sunday and Monday off, but wish it was an option. I will book my appointments on Saturdays at 4 so I can selfishly sleep in. Great experience and well worth the gentleness, customer service, and professionalism. The prices are great. Nothing here should change lady owner...NOTHING!
