No frills, but MUCH less expensive than Safe Lite. Got me in within hours and waited a reasonable amount of time for the whole thing. The woman behind the desk was very knowledgeable and friendly. They are only doing windshields right now. Definitely recommend!

They were great! I had a rear passenger window completely smashed in and they were able to fit me in quickly and fixed it in about an hour and a half. Good prices too, they were slightly cheaper than the quote I got from Safelite. It’s easiest if you call ahead and make an appointment, they were pretty busy (I had an appointment) and that way they knew ahead of time which window they needed to order to have ready. Very kind staff too!

I had a great experience. The lady at the desk was super friendly and nice. She told me to come in at 9:00 and they took my car in 5 minutes and my windshield was done in 45 minutes. They have the cheapest prices than most with the same quality work. I do recommend this place.

I came here based on a recommendation to have a windshield replacement done on my 16 Mazda SUV.Let me start by saying this experience honestly exceeded my expectations.TLDR: Excellent customer service, best price in the area, faster service time than quoted.The phone call: I called for a quote, the young lady on the phone was polite and let me know my out the door cost and it was over $100 less than anyone else had quoted me. I scheduled my appointment for the very next morning and she made sure I had the correct address and told me its a yellow and red building (a helppful description, as the building is a little hidden from view from the main street depending which direction you come from).The visit: When I came in for my appointment, my car was taken back within 10 minutes of me arriving (I was 1 of 3 customers there as soon as they opened, so the vehicles were taken back by order of checkin). The young lady, Allie, got everyone checked in, let me know I could stay there and work on my laptop and provided the wifi info. I was originally quoted about 2-3 hours, but they had my car done in an hour and 15 minutes. Allie checked with all of us that were waiting a couple times to give status updates and make a bit of conversation. She had one of the best customer service personalities Ive seen in quite some time. We took care of payment just before she pulled my car out for me, and my out the door price was exactly what was quoted on the phone the day prior.The windshield: So far, I see no cracks or signs of leaking. Allie advised that it shouldnt be pressure washed for a few days, so as long as the windshield holds up, this review stays 5 star.

Had these guys replace a broken rear windshield on an Audi Q7. Price was far better than other options, hundreds less than the dealer, service was great and I cannot tell a difference from the old to the new. I even returned recently and they vacuumed out additional glass that had subsequently fallen and lodged in the panel. I cannot recommend them enough. Great quality, price and service.

The sunroof in our Sequoia was leaking badly. I learned it has a drain system that needs attention.The people at Mikes are very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend!

I called 8 different glass replacement places here in Charlotte and they quoted me the cheapest. They were able to schedule me in before the end of the day. They said it would take an hour and a half and it took exactly that long. So far so good, no wind noises or water leakage. Staff was also kind and well versed.Edit: Ive had the same windshield for well over a year now and have had no complaints whatsoever.

We had to get a replacment windshield for our car. I called around and they seemed to have the best price. ($170 for a 2012 honda pilot) My husband went in for our appointment. The shop discovered that our car needed the more expensive part. They honored the price quoted to me which was awesome! They also were able to install same day still. Nice job guys. Thank you :)

04/04/19 Called after making an appointment with Safelite. Quoted a far better price. (Not like the glass is any different) Was able to go that day. Took a little more than an hour. Super friendly. Ill update in a few months in case there are any issues.

Prices quoted seem to be better than most. Not very helpful on the phone but maybe I called at a busy time. There website needs some work. I was not able to get what I needed done scheduled in my timeframe so I was not able to use them. Service reviews are good but I cant comment on the service. Will try again when I need another windshield.

Great work and service

Got me glass for my 93 f250. The owner drove and got it because he didnt have it in stock. I got lunch when I got back they had it in hand. Perfect glass and the lady at the front desk knew what she was doing. Everything was seemless. Will be coming back for all my glass needs including big trucks as well!

Mike came out and was courteous and prompt. He call an hour before showing up and walked me through replacing my windshield. Gave me a good quote and got down to business. Greatest and friendliest people to have work on your vehicle. They were over $250 cheaper than safelite were progressive wanted me to go, and have to wait 4 days for and appt. They did it here that day, and only waited 30 minutes to have it done.

I originally thought i needed to replace the windshield gasket because rain was leaking into my car...Mike was honest and told me all he needed to do was clean/flush the lines from the sunroof that got clogged...so grateful the fix was minor and i saved some money!Great service and was on time! Poor communication skills. Told me I could only have my glass replaced (I will say for a decent price), but I only have a chip so I requested repair. He stated for repairs they’re “booked up” Confused - I asked are you saying you’re booked up for today or indefinitely? He then repeated for glass replacement we have availability for chip repair we are booked up. What does that even mean? Are you never doing chip repairs ever again? No appointments today, this week, this month? I didn’t even ask for a specific day and the response was booked up.

Showed up for my appointment 30 mins early and was told the wait would still be 3 hours.

I contacted Mikes Auto Glass because the passenger power window stopped working in my SUV on a Saturday afternoon. The window wouldnt go up at all and a rain storm was heading into town. He answered the phone right away and asked me a few questions about the problem I was having. Mike had the part in stock, arrived promptly and fixed it right at my home. I was so impressed with his experience, knowledge and professionalism that I would definitely refer everyone to Mikes Auto Glass if they are in need of this type of service! 😊

Being a business owner myself its hard for me to slam someone on a review as I know how some people just have nothing better to do in there free time but this here is very unprofessional and not how anyone should handle business. I contacted Mike to have him go to a salvage yard to remove the back glass for my customers vehicle. Took him several days to get out there to do it in the first place, he texted me saying broke which I was confused on the vagueness of that from the start. Long story short Mike broke the back glass I had already for over the phone and told me it was not his responsibly because it was a used glass. Never did he once state these terms to me, nor did I have any written documentation with stated terms & conditions. Then he has the audacity to tell me he normally charges customers for the trip out there rather the glass breaks or not. Needless to say I would never use these guys.. ever.... do not know how to handle business and they could care less about making things right when they are very much so in the wrong. Now I get to buy the back glass TWICE because he couldnt handle removing it without breaking it.

Using my palm, I killed a mosquito inside my car, pressing it against the windshield (wearing no jewelry) in an Audi, which caused a sudden crack in the windshield! Not a hammer or a metal plate. Just my hand.People in the car noticed I hardly hit the glass were shocked. I found many automobile manufacturing groups are using a new kind of glass for windshields. They are more frail from the factory. Suburu has a class action.Looking at all local Auto Glass places, and the negative reviews I decided to go with Mikes Auto Glass Charlotte. When I called, they answered the phone QUICKLY.They were able to get the special windshield for me the next day, and the installation was only a 1 hour wait.Ally (sp?), who was the office person, was EXCELLENT with her customer service skills, her knowledge of the products they sell, and details of installation. Everything went smoothly and a lot had to do with how It is easy to find and they have a waiting area, but I walked to the local McDonalds to grab food.I will recommend them to anyone and everyone and go back there for my oil changes and tire replacements!
