We had a catalyst go out (on a 20 yr old vehicle), when visiting from out of state. I called and talked with Chris, he said to come by and he will get us going again. The work was done quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable cost. The friendly staff stayed past normal work hours to complete the work. I recommended this business to my mother for her automotive repairs.

Great experience. My family and I were traveling to Florida for the holidays, with 16 more hours to go, and all sorts of warning lights went off in our minivan. We took a chance and stopped at Advanced Muffler Plus. We were able to get our minivan looked at within fifteen minutes. Within 90 minutes we had the minivan evaluated, had a new battery in and were able to get back on the road. Very friendly, helpful and efficient! Wed definitely give them our business again.

Great shop they do a lot more than just exhaust too. Had great service every time I brought my car in. Very efficient turn around time on fix is very practical. Always suggest them to my friends.

Never going here again!! I was a returning customer from last year and I liked their service so I decided to go back when my flex pipe rusted out. It took them about 40 minutes to do which was nice then when he went to bill me, he told me the price of the flex pipe was $130! Are you kidding me? They are up charging a $20 part to $130. That didnt even include labor and a disposal fee. Do not go here, they will try and take advantage of you on the part prices. I was beyond upset then he was saying oh we have strong flex pipes this and that saying that since my car is stick shift I drive it hard. Guy was literally talking out of his ass at this point .

Been here 3 times and each time the welds broke over winter. The welds weren’t even real welds there were just clumps of the electrode on the exhaust. Charged me $200 to replace a portion of a stainless steel pipe with a regular steel pipe. Which also rusted. Exhaust wasn’t completely sealed either. Spend a little more and get it done at reds.

This place was very helpful because even though I didnt schedule an appointment they welded my muffler that had fallen off in 20 minutes and did an excellent job doing so. I previously went to reds muffler shop in Urbana and had my original muffler attached there and it had fallen off about a year afterwards because they half assed the weld. Then I called them to see if they can weld it back and reds muffler shop said that even if i bring the car in at 1 they wouldnt be able to get it done that day****(they closed at 5 and no they didnt allow appointments)So for a 20 min job they wouldnt be able to get it done for another 4 hours like that makes sense and if theyre busy then they should implement appointment like advance muffler shop does.

RUN RUN away worst experience ever, got my car back after 2 weeks stay only to find it was the same as when I originally took it in, had to stop payment another 2 weeks after they had it all tore down, still not fixed. told them to slap it together taking to another shop, Ed would not do it, left me in a bad bad way, he tried to buy car for nothing, I ended up selling the car for MUCH less than it was worth. Couple days later on lot with license plate. I will tell everyone I know NOT to ever go there.

Ok so I dont write reviews often, if ever. I have to for this place, time and time again theyve blown me away!!I had to have the exhaust fixed on my girlfriends dads truck. Took it to CarX, they quoted 600 and a week. Took it here and they fixed it by the next day for 150!Ive been two other times, and both times had prices checked out elsewhere first. This place has always beaten the other prices, and today when I picked my car up even offered me a 10% discount for coming back to them.The owner (I think?) Bob and Cris are SUPER helpful. Im not a car person, but they showed me the bad part they took out and explained what was happening. Bob also told me to call his personal cell on his buisness card if Im ever in trouble after hours and hell do whatever he can to help out.If youre looking for the kind of old fashioned, honest service with the best pricing in town, the kind of mechanic youll go to for years, check this place out. They do a lot more than mufflers.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The owner ED is a liar and cant back up his word. Worst place ive ever been too. 👎

Ive been here twice to fix exhaust on two different vehicles. Was affordable and quality work!

They ask too much installing after market catback exhaust system for camaro. Was asking for a qoute and a dude told me its gonna cost $400-$700. $700 thats the price of a new catback exhaust. Management should do something about their staff.

Terrible customer service. Waited nearly an hour before someone came out and looked at my car, got a quote somewhere between 70 and 120 dollars and to wait a minute. 15 minutes later I ask the mechanic if hes ready and get a rude and disrespectful response in front of other customers. Go to a place with more class.
