The young lady that rented the car to me seem very unhappy and not to friendly when we picked up the car. She was just a one word answer and wasnt really helpful when it came to the car and showing us details. The reason Im giving it a 5 stars is because when I called and I spoke with a guy at the office and told him where I was traveling. He informed me to go to Giants to get an Easy pass for my traveling and that was very informative and helpful. When I mentioned that to the young lady again she seems very less unbothered.

Save yourself the trouble. Go to Hertz.I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I was charged a higher per day price and license recovery fee rate that what I was initially told. The latter is a dollar so Im really not that bothered, but the difference in price per day for the rental comes to about $80+.When I pointed it out when I returned the car, they said they would look into it and reach out to me. A few days later I see a charge for the wrong total on my credit card with no invoice emailed to me. I had to call them and request an invoice. Even during that call, the rep said that my per day price was less, but it wasnt reflecting on my charge.I tried emailing and contacting them multiple times and they just ignore me. Its the worst customer service Ive ever experienced with a car rental service.

I got into a car accident and needed a rental car, i was originally going to go to the columbia location but they did not have any cars for me so i called this location. She said “i see your reservation is for the columbia location did you want me to transfer you there?” I told her no, I need a car today and they told me to call you guys because the catonsville location is bigger. She said “okay let me help you with that” and made a reservation for me at 4:45. Before i hung up the phone i said “thank you see you later today.” I get to enterprise and give her my name and she says “weren’t you coming in tomorrow?” I told her “no i specifically told you i need a car today.” She’s then scrambling for a car and proceeds to tell her coworker “her reservation was for tomorrow but she needs a car today.” This is where i started to get ticked off, if you’re going to tell a story tell it correct, because i specifically told the her I need a car today which is why i called the catonsville location if i needed the car the next day i would have kept my reservation at columbia and I would have never said “see you later today.” This would have been 5 star service yet she proceeded to lie to her coworker and put the blame on me when in fact it was her fault for not listening.

I always rent my car from here and I always pay for intermediate car Hyundai Elantra but I never get Hyundai only Sentra. But I am always okay with that but this time I’m not happy. Please check your vehicles properly before you rent it out. Do not give to people simply what available . I reserved this in advance . I saw guy vacuuming the car that was given to us . Everything was done in rush . There was no windshield fluids in the car , we realized on the way while driving and we needed it so bad. Even there were some food or ketchup stain in drivers seat on top side and I also saw a bug in the back left side of the car. Please do proper sanitation and don’t risk health of people in this kind of situation.Thank you.

The worst location for enterprise. I had a reserved car from Toyota at 10am and Enterprise kept on saying no car available so I had to wait for three hours at their location. This is no a location to deal with. Basically, they don’t care about their customers. I wish I could have the option to give them 0 star.

It was a very unpleasant and nerve racking experience renting a car form Enterprise. I started my experience off reserving my vehicle online or at lest that is what I thought I got a call maybe 20 minutes later telling me that the car was unavailable and that they had a minivan to offer me in place of the intermediate suv. Well I didn’t want that for one they were not going to give it to me for the price of what I rented it for so no, I wasn’t interested in paying that much more. So then I had a conversation with the young lady and told her that if they were going to get a suv in the next day then I would like to book for the next day. She states that there would be some coming in and that she was going to reserve one for me and she would see me tomorrow. While tomorrow came and I was on my way up to the Enterprise however I decided to call fisrt just to check and see if something came in. Thankful I did the young lady never put me down as a reservation and they didn’t have a suv in, as I proceeded to speak with the young lady on the phone to find out why I didn’t have a reservation she tells meThat I never told her that and that she apologized however there was nothing that could be done I would have to wait for the next day. At this point I’m think I should be offered something for all this inconvenience but I wasn’t so the following day I got up early called made sure they had my reservation and a car for which they did. I arrived at the Enterprise and there was only one employee working he took me out to the car and it looked like they had not cleaned the inside of the vehicle out nor washed the car. At this point I was in a hurry and felt bad for the young man that was working by himself. I’m

Picked up car on Monday, July 6, at around 1:30 pm.The service at the pickup office was fine.The car I received was very much unsatisfactory. Although the carpet was clean, all of the interior glass was terrible. I could hardly see out of the front windshield or rear window. When I got the car home, Icleaned all the glass both inside and out. There was no glass cleaner used on those glass surfaces in a long time. I could see that the car had been run through a ‘brushless’ car wash, because the car waswet, but the outer windshield and painted surfaces were dirty as well.Although there were stickers on the console that identified the car as a ‘non-smoking’ car, the car reeked of cigarette smoke. That was validated by what appeared to be a big hole in the driver’s seat that I bet was caused by someone smoking in the car. After driving home, and changing clothes, my clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. It was really terrible.If I would have had time to sit and wait for another car I would have, but there was only one person I could see who was trying to get cars delivered.I have to say, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with picking up a dirty/filthy car from Enterprise. Not only here in Maryland, but in Missouri as well. Also amazing, is that the company I work for (~27,000employees), highlights Enterprise to its employees, and is the rent-a-car company we must use for official work travel. If I had a choice when I travel for work, I would NOT choose Enterprise.I understand that COVID-19 has messed with a lot of stuff and the way companies operate, but I don’t feel this is an acceptable practice by one of the largest rent-a-car companies in the U.S.

The car was scheduled for pick up at 1030 but not ready until 1130. Service was polite but unapologetic. Car was scheduled for pick up at Ellicott city but pickup was in Catonsville, 15 min away. Even im these trying times, we should have logistics figured out.

Unfortunately my experience at this Enterprise location was a terrible one. I rented a car this past weekend to accommodate my large family to take them sight-seeing in Washington D.C. I rented a car especially so I would not run into any problems during the time they were visiting. Well that plan did not go as planned. I rented a 2016 dodge dart. On Saturday afternoon in the middle of the highway the car just shut off WHILE I was driving. Mind you, there were no lights left on, or anything of that sort. I could feel the car beginning to slow down, so I was able to merge to the side of highway. I shut the car off and started the car again. The car would NOT START. Unfortunately during the time this experience happened the enterprise location was closed. Around 4:30 PM. I had me and my family sitting on the side of the highway for about an hour to an hour in a half. My boyfriend was able to bring me car wires to re charge the vehicle. The same situation happened to me on the way RETURNING the vehicle. What made the situation worst, once I spoke to the manager he did NOT seem a bit concerned with my situation, in fact he told me that The story sounded strange and he find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that this happened to a 2016 vehicle Not I apologize for the inconvenience, or my apologies this happened to you mam. I felt as in he was accusing me of lying. I work for a Marriott Hotel and I was expecting at least some customer service coming from this company and I received NONE. To top my experience, the manager felt like compensating me for one day would be suitable. He eventually compensated me for the entire weekend, but not until after the fact the car shut off AGAIN on the way to bring bag the rental. I am very saddened by this situation. I always rent cars from enterprise, I think Ill have to reconsider and seek other options in near future.

Travel to and from my business trip out of state went smoothly thanks largely to Enterprise. They did not have the vehicle I reserved and upgraded me at no additional charge. The vehicle performed well. Their flexibility with return after-hours was greatly appreciated as I ended up needing to take advantage of that. I just left this location and I have to say that Keenan Brown was outstanding !!!!I payed a visit to another company and very dissatisfied with their service. The moment I walked into the office I was greeted by the manager who was ever so pleasant and I new I was in the right place. The service was fast and I was on my way to finish my day ! Everyone was quite professional. Nancy White, from your Catonsville location, went above and beyond. My rental had a flat tire while parked where I work. Nancy drove to Columbia, switched cars and fixed changed the tire. Keep in mind it was after dark and raining quite hard. I offered to change the tire myself, but she insisted on doing it herself. She was done and on her way in about 15 minutes.This is the kind of going the extra mile story that will make me an Enterprise customer for life!

UNPROFESSIONAL. I will post a review everyday they keep lying and holding on to my money. This is so unfair and enterprise has really really screwed me over so bad. They’ve literally brought me to tears. They swiped my card and put a hold for over $400 to tell me they don’t accept my card. I was told the funds would be released same day. They weren’t. Then I was told 1-2 businesses day. Still wasn’t there. Then I was told til wait another day, and it’s still not there. Then i was told to contact corporate on my other review and they “escalated” it but i haven’t heard back and still no money. This is so unprofessional, I can’t even get another rental From elsewhere cause they have my money and I really need a car and I’m losing money because of it. I’m literally crying cause enterprise has put my life on hold and they keep lying about when they will give me my money and yet just won’t give me the rental.I will post a new review everyday until this is resolved, it’s All I can do besides keep asking them and my bank to fix this. I will never do business with them again.

Very Poor Customer service. While Pickup the car am being updated by the Enterprise consultant that I can drop the car any where any where in Baltimore including the airport. But When planned to leave the car in the airport enterprise asked me to pay $150 more. When I gave a call to the rented location of Enterprise received the update that the Enterprise consultant provided wrong information on pick up of the car. When requested for the options received the option to drop of the key in the picked up location. which really sucks my plan

Worst branch of car rental, I have encountered till date.Made a reservation and headed to the place to pick my car at 1pm, was denied with the reason we currently dont have any cars now.Extended my reservation to 5:30 pm. Made a call to ensure if there were any cars available, on assurance I started to the rental car location, made a call again at 5:55pm to inform them about the delay due to traffic. I normally love Enterprise and got the normal great service from a very nice neighborhood location. But when I went to decline the insurance as I always do (since Im already covered both by my own car insurance and by Visa) the agent informed me that in the event of any damage I would be assessed not just the repair bill but also Enterprises loss of revenue, which my insurance would not cover. So I wound up adding 50% to the cost of the rental - by then I had no alternative.Loss of revenue assessments, while legal in some states, are dishonest and one-sided. They dont reimburse me for lost revenue if I have a flat tire and miss an important meeting. And their financial loss from an out-of-service car is not the hypothetical revenue but the actual profit - a much smaller number.Needless to say I was very disappointed in this tactic from what had been my favorite car rental company.

Lately, I been having so much difficulties with enterprise. 1 month ago when I needed a rental due to an accident, called 7 different locations and none of them had an intermediary size car that fit insurance coverage. And always trying to upsell a different size that required me to pay out of pocket. Today, I called to get another rental, and same exact thing happened.You want to know, How I am so sure that they are lying and trying to upsell me? Because right after, the Shop that I am at (licensed adjustor/shop) called them for me and ask if they had one available for a client of theirs (which is me) and what a surprise! They did have one.Such a dirty business tactic, to a same recurring customer. Such a shame I still need a rental and the guys insurance who happened to be under the influence of alcohol that caused the accident, only provides rental with enterprise. If it was up to me, I would never rent a car with enterprise again. And this is just 1 out of 4 examples of a bad experience I had with enterprise.DONT do business with enterprise if you have the option too. Dirty business.

My experience was not good, this was an insurance referral for a rental vehicle for a mini van. On my first visit to this location they mentioned they do not have a vehicle and i can get this after 4 days. When i followed up with enterprise reservation phone line to find the vechicle at another nearby location they confirmed the availability of the vehicle next day on same location. I reconfirmed the availability after few hours by calling again.Next day when i went to pickup the car vehicle was not available, i have to wait there and they got me an alternate vehicle wich was dirty from inside and not very plesent to drive.The staff is nice and friendly they work well when everything is normal for any out of the normal situation and insurance referrals donot have the same level of service.

Im a very loyal customer to Enterprise for several years and I generally rent from the downtown Silver Spring MD Location. However, I must say that I am now loyal to Catonsville Entreprise. Brian the Manager is very professional and his staff is top notched. I am very pleased with this location and I now call them family. I will always rent from this location. Trust me. This is the worst car rental company, especially this location. I called in the morning to check to see if they had a car available and was told that they did. So I went in to pick it up and then was told that they had none. Then a staff named Natasha kept telling me to get an SUV but I had to pay more out of pocket, and that I would have to rent the SUV for a week before I could switch to a standard size car that my insurance would normally cover for free. After all that I was advised to check out the Ellicott City location. I made reservations with them and they agreed to pick me up, however no one showed. I called and they said that they moved my reservation back to Catonsville since they apparently now had cars available. After spending the entire day from morning until they closed, I still ended up with no car. This has been the worst experience ever in renting a car. The staff at Catonsville are the worst to deal with, at least the Ellicott City location were remorseful of their mistakes. Never using this company again.

THE WORST PLACE EVER.Most horrific Enterprise experience ever.Im not just never going to this branch but never to Enterprise ever again.The branch manager Lauren lies to you all the time.When renting, she says dont mark anything on the paper because they are minimal damage. She assures you that she will not consider them a damage.When I was returning the car she called out for damages that was there from before and conveniently offered two choices: go with the Enterprise insurance or pay the $500 deductible. (Thats why she notes $500 deductible on the contract). The fact that she doesnt tell you is that unless its bigger than the damage evaluator youre not liable for the damage!!!! But you DONT NEED TO KNOW THAT. Just buy the insurance.Not just that, she did not give me an option of which car to choose. She intentionally let me rent a car that was more expensive than what the insurance covers and tells me that only after returning the car. She assures that she circled it on the contract and therefore the fault lies with the customers who didnt read the fine print. And they have no reason to make customers understand, thats Enterprise Customer Service. Less youre aware, more money they can rip out of your pockets. I tried to read it but she was more than happy to rush me out of the office. She did not offer me a choice of a car that is covered or not covered. She offered only one car. She said thats your vehicle. and it was over the coverage without my knowledge.The funniest thing is that on my return I was only given a receipt. Total amount Due: $0.00 But because of TAX, under Payment information Amount Paid: $74.45. They had not told me that they were going to just charge me the money. Apparently YOU DO NOT need to know that they are going to take money of the security deposit.When I returned home and saw the receipt I had made a call. Courtney picked up. She assures me that this is not a charge. 2 Days later, charge transaction completes.I wouldnt call this experience a hassle.This is far beyond that. This has not only left me to believe that this store is a scam but the entire Enterprise Rental Service is a scam. From renting a vehicle to the aftermath, its filled with scams and traps.Please do not go here. Anger and Hatred best describes my experience.
