I have brought all of my cars to this place throughout the years, and havent been disappointed at all. The employees here have always been kind to not just myself, but to my family as well. They are very knowledgeable, and they try to do everything they can to make sure the customer is satisfied with their service. Also the prices are nice too. I highly recommend this place to get your vehicle oil changes and inspections done here. I will be returning to this place in the future. 😀

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quick Tesla state inspection. The process is relatively painless; you just pull up, perform a few basic commands (left & right blinkers, brake lights, wipers, high beams, etc), wait for them to enter some stuff into the system, and you’re on your way! Totally painless and never even have to get out of your car.

It’s like new! Fresh new and young faces, positive and upbeat. The service was Great, fast and provided friendly customer service, I was able to sit in my car while getting my oil changed. Also this is the first time I saw women and young men working on cars which honestly was super cool. Keep up the great work everyone!

Very impressed with service and professionalism from this Valvoline location. Had oil changed and noticed a small leak in garage. Took it back to have it checked. The service techs are extremely nice and helpful. They immediately had it checked and filter was a little loose. They adjusted it & all is well. I especially appreciated Avauntis very through and professional attitude. Very respectful young man. I will definitely return to this location.

I would use this location with caution. I noticed my wifes car was leaking a lot of oil after getting serviced here. I checked the oil and it had been very overfilled. I checked the service tag and it read that it had been given the correct oil but the v8 amount. We have a v6. It had been overfilled by one quart. She had been driving it for a couple of months before I noticed this and now Im concerned about the rear main seal, as that is where the oil seems to be coming from. I brought the car back down to Valvoline and the employees were polite, and found too, that a mistake had been made, and drained the extra oil. However, the both the employees and assistant manager did not seem to be concerned about the overall integrity of my engine, as I continue to be now, and sent me on my way. Id really like to speak with the primary manager about this mistake, as Id like to get the car checked out by a mechanic, but was told that any work outside Valvoline would void their liability.Further Update: This company doesn’t care about their mistake. I did email and call the help line but got no response. Luckily for me and for them, my car is still going, though I did have to repair some oil leaks that may or may not have been caused by their error. Don’t use this company! For your own good, stay away!

I went here after work before I had to pick up my son for daycare because I saw an advertisement for 15 minute service. They had two bays open, one car in each bay when I arrived, and I was still there for an hour. By the time I got in it did only take about fifteen minutes, and when I left, one of the cars that was there when I arrived was still there. So I guess the two vehicles that were there when I arrived might have had some unique issues. I was frustrated at first, when I was waiting, but I dont think it could be helped. Lesson learned though - should be 15 minutes, but its safer not to plan for that.I think they siphoned the old oil out as opposed to draining, which I know many oil change service stations dont have the equipment to do, so theres a bonus if its relevant to you.

I rarely leave reviews but had to today. This was by far the best experience I have had at Valvoline! I arrived and was greeting within 2 minutes for an oil change and car inspection. All maintenance was completed following COVID safety from the comfort of my car. What impressed me the most was the positive energy created by the three technicians. The communication and teamwork between Avaunti, Angel and Andy was so efficient and professional. Each technician encouraged one another using phrases such as “good work team” , “let’s do it” and “oh we got it!”. Each shared responsibility in meeting each customers needs. I highly recommend this facility for all your maintenance needs!

Was told when we arrived it would be a bit longer than usual as the server was down. Get into the pay they where able to run my card with in 5 minutes. We have spent 2 hours sitting in our vehicle while they do a supposed 15 minute oil change. Several employees standing around .

Unacceptable! Was told the system was down and they couldnt accept our $20 off Full Synthetic Oil Chance, but they were able to produce a printable receipt/invoice with full maintenance check details, labor cost and tax. Had to pay cash too and the system easily calculated the change. How easy would it have been to just subtract or charge $20 less. Scammers!

In and out in less than 15 min. No hard sales tactics for add ons (though they will ask). A bit more than Id normally spend on an oil change but it was worth it to get it done fast and right in this case.

I came here to get an oil change. The wait took a little longer than I initially anticipated, because there was a small line of cars whenever I arrived, but overall the experience was great! I had my 3 little girls with me and I could tell the technicians were working quickly so we could all be on our way. I was satisfied with the service, friendliness, and prices.

The team was very nice and helpful. My only issue us why give the next oil change interval sticker at 3k when a full synthetic oil change is good for 5 to 7k. I had them hand right the correct milage on the sticker as this was my wifes car.

So happy with the service at this location! Seriously blown away. These guys have made me a loyal Valvoline customer here on out! 2nd time at this location (very clean and in a great spot) and I arrived right before closing and they still helped me out and offered the extra services. I was in / out in less than 10 minutes and never left my car. Very nice staff and great communication on whats available and what they are doing each step of the way. I have been coming here for about a year now, oddly enough, I always seem to get Michael, and he is consistently professional, gentleman and polite. If I ever have any questions about my car and it’s something that can’t be done there, they always tell me what I can do or where I can go. They always do a good job and are quick. The location is great because I work down the street.

After having to change lanes twice and waiting for over 40 min I finally got to the front of the line for a car inspection and oil change. I was told to go back as there were now 2 cars ahead. I had used them for years but no more. Their new management is incompetent and expensive. 😱

Five min oil change and my car had two leaks afterwards and my service light came on that I was very low on oil. Went back a second time to fix the issue. They never checked anything thoroughly within another 5 mins. Left there and still low on oil. If I had a leak they didn’t check it. Went to another Valvoline a 3rd time to get oil and no issues at a different location. Don’t know who’s running this one with 5 min oil changes and they take your money and send you on your way to have problems. Requested a refund!

Im editing my review as a while back wait times were very slow. However, Ive returned a couple of times & so has my wife & the wait time has improved. Theyre able to give a better rough estimate on how long it will take.But really the important thing is the service, the work, and thats always been great! I use only Valvoline & this location as they always do a good job & do it right. Also, I was running a bit low on oil & since I wasnt due for a change they topped it off for me. I didnt know this was part of their service as a customer & it saved me $20 from having to go buy some oil between changes.

So i got an oil change here 2 oil changes ago. After about 2 weeks, i noticed a stain on my driveway. I took it somewhere else to inspect it and get an oil change. Before they pulled the plug out, they showed me the problem. When they pulled the plug, we learned thatbit had been cross threaded. Now i need another oil change. So i brought it back to this place and tell them what the problem was. They didnt want to change it because they didnt want to be responsible for the cross threading. They are trying to hide behind some policy. I wouldnt take my lawnmower there for an oil change.

I highly advise to not visit this location. My wife went in there the other day and asked for a basic oil change. After a $70 oil change she asked why it was so expensive. One of the highly educated employees informed her its because oil prices are high right now. The real reason is because they up sold her without her permission to the Max Life oil change with synthetic. After contacting the store manager he stated thats what she asked for. She asked to be contacted by the general manager and he never called. The store manager stated he talked the general manager and that no refund will be given. Still have yet to be contacted by the general manager.So if you want to be taken advantage of and lied to, this is your place. I will highly discourage anyone I know to going to this location. Customer service is non exisistent.The BBB will be contacted as well.Well done guys, you took advantage of a naive female customer.

Been to this location several times for oil changes and inspections. The staff may change but every time Ive been here, those boys/men treat me well. They are courteous, fast, and good natured! My last inspection was done quickly! I also was the only person at the shop at the time. :) Oil changes are quick too depends on how many in line.

I usually dont write reviews but felt compelled due to the oil change I received. Took my wifes car for an oil change on a Sunday, they changed the oil, got home and had oil dripping in the driveway. Waited until Monday to drive car and found more oil. Took the car back for them to look at it and they determined the technician did not put a gasket and drain fill plug. I usually change my own oil but had a sick wife and kids and didnt really want to mess with it. I was charged $100+ for an oil change which is fine for synthetic but inspecting and changing the drain plug gasket is a basic part of changing oil. In the end they did make it right and corrected the problem plus gave me a 20% off coupon for next visit but not worth the hassle to go back and wonder if they are doing it right.

Very friendly staff. Typically at mechanic shops they always try to up sell or or throw crazy fees at you. I got exactly what I wanted, no finagling and the price is exactly what I expected.Quick service as well considering they were busy this morning. Took them about 20 min once my car pulled in and you could hear them verbally confirm their inspection process, good training.They honererd their online coupon without any issues, just showed them the coupon on my cell phone.

I went here for an inspection on a 1994 vehicle. From the moment I walked up, they were prompt, asked for my keys and insurance, and told me they would get right with me. They were ALL very polite, and smiling. I cannot tell you how much of a relief that can be when there tend to be lots of rude workers at auto shops. They got me in and out quick. Best part of my experience was their attitudes.

This is the first time I have ever left a review about a company but after my experience today I felt compelled to write one about this location and Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Simply put: DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION OR ANY VALVOLINE. I came into the location in Carrollton on Josey Lane today at 4pm to have my oil changed on my Audi A4. The crew was courtesy. However, my nightmare begin 5 minutes after leaving. The cover that protects the undercarriage came loose as I was driving down the street. I immediately pulled over and saw that they did not get it back on properly after changing the oil. I turned around and immediately came back. They took my car right in and said that the technician didnt install the bolt that holds the cover down. They installed it and ensured that it was fixed. I then returned home, which is less than 1.5 miles away. 4 hours later my wife and I went to leave our home to pick up some items for the Thanksgiving Holiday only to find that oil was streaming down the street. It is now 8pm, the store is closed, we have oil all over the street, will not be able to have the car seen about until Friday morning due to the holiday. We cannot start or drive the car obviously as it will damage the engine. Fortunately, this happened in front of our home instead of on the highway tomorrow as we were set to drive 2 hours to spend with family for the holiday. We now are unable to see our family and are greatly concerned about our vehicle. This is beyond unacceptable. I do not recommend using this location or any Valvoline center as they appear to have completely incompetent people working for them. If I could give them zero stars I would have.

TERRIBLE : iInitially they were very nice , however , they took my money 1st , acted like everything was fine, then advised me I did not pass inspection and it was a lot more than excepted . When I reviewed the receipt I was charged for emissions not required in my county I live in . It was evident on the insurance card that I lived in another county . When I brought it to there attention they became most defensive and stated that if I ever drove in this county I was required to have emissions . I asked so your telling me that any one who lives outside this county and ever comes into this county for any reason has to have admissions, even if they have a valid inspection in their own county . He raised his voice and said YES! and then advised that he did not have time to talk to me . RIP OFF !!!!!!! That was 25.50 down the drain !!!! In addition my insurance card was not returned to me .

Typically, I have a good experience with Valvolines services. So this isnt a knock on the whole franchise, however, what I experienced today was an absolute nightmare.First I was greeted by a team that didnt seem to care. The manager was lackluster, but as usual the service was quick. This particular time I got an oil change and my coolant flushed.After about an hour I had to come back because I noticed a leak when I went to go get gas. The tech that received me this time saw how bad the leak was and rushed me into the garage. They took a look into it, and said that it was due to the coolant being overfilled and it was expelling the excess.Later I turn on my car (maybe 3 hours later) and get a warning about the coolant. I open the hood to check, and the reservoir was empty. I put enough coolant I luckily had in my trunk and had to take it back. While Ive been here now it seems they are taking this seriously.This isnt how I wanted to spend my day, and Im just appalled that a service I paid close to $200 for, is causing me this much of a headache. They lost my business for the long hual... Ive been a valvoline customer for about 8 years. So its a huge disappointment.Update: I was just given another cop out excuse and sent on my way. Customer care has been contacted. Hopefully their corporate office cares for their customers more than the manager that performed the job.

Josey Lane store: I called on Sat. to set appt for a regular oil change. They said come in after 5, no problem. When I got there they said they were low or running out of conventional oil($41 +$2 for extra qt. $5 off coupon was quoted on the phone prior). So the young clueless guy tried to talk me into a synthetic blend for $65? I said I only wanted the orig. price. Its not my fault if you have ordering issues to fulfill demand etc. He said they could only knock off $10 so I declined. Asked for the managers name (David) and drove off. I have 4 other vehicles. Shame they will never get my business. Thats thousands of dollars lost over the next 15 years. Dont go here. They are lazy and clueless. ZERO customer service skills.

I went to this location on Saturday to get my state inspection done. They were not busy and I was the only vehicle there to be service. One gentleman walked up and asked How may a help you? I replied I am trying to get my inspection done. As I have been going here for years. He then proceeded and said let me get the inspection technician. A gentleman worker got out of his truck as he was on a break and told me the owner does not allow for us to do inspections thirty minutes before closing. I was shocked as I called another time and asked what is the latest you accept cars for inspection. I was told 6:30 and they closed at 7. Wow that was very frustrating and that shows they arent really to service the customer. I normally dont write reviews but had too for this place. They need better customer services. Also I was a repeat customer for this location.

If you are wanting to use a Groupon Please say it three times before having services done. Just had an oil change and I told the guy I’m using a Groupon and he said sure pull up. When all services were done and it was time to pay he said oh no we don’t take those. Now I was left with the most expensive oil change! That’s what I get for not going to my usual location. If you want really great service see the guys at the Irving/las colinas location.

Where do I begin, I will be nice and keep it clean here folks. First off; I brung a $49.99 Groupon for an oil change to this location. My synthetic oil change still looks dirty by the way. So corporate needs to know how this franchise is advertising their brand name.Anyways, they didn’t want to honor my Groupon even though they did before so that’s why I came to this location. The guy whoever this little lowly person is that probably makes below $20.00 an hour says; “we are a franchise we don’t take Groupon”. And here we are, I will never come back to this place again. First off, where on earth in the fine print or terms and conditions does it say this Groupon is only honored at corporate locations? No where, that’s why. You lied to my face, thinking I was a simpleton. Guess I’ll spend my hard earned dollars somewhere else. All of the guys look like a bunch of Trump Supporters anyways, so why would they want to help a woman of color who drives a pickup truck?I will speak with customer service and make sure Corporate knows how you treated me and my vehicle.

Today was my first time in there - I was at 40,500 mi and was thinking I had been due at 40,000. The first thing he (Alan Belew) said to me was This sticker says that youre not due until 42,000 (apparently my Hyundai dealership HAD changed my oil when I had been there three weeks earlier even though it was not noted on the invoice they gave me).Then he said, Ill take a look at the oil for you to make sure. He showed me the dipstick and said Yeah, your oil is in good shape - you dont need an oil change.Such integrity is really nice when so many repair shops are in the business of upselling. This will be my new oil change place.

I recently went into this shop for an oil change and allowed them to upsell me a radiator flush. They didn’t put the radiator cap back on tightly and I wound up stuck on I-35 with a steaming engine during rush hour. Imagine my surprise when I opened the hood and saw the radiator cap missing. They have accused me of taking the radiator cap off myself. Who would do that? No one else has touched the car. When my husband went up there because they wouldn’t answer the phone, they had friends there and everyone, including the employees, laughed at him. Worst place ever.
