I needed to get information on my car so I initially called and spoke to Freddie who told me to bring it in for a look. Turns out I needed a new battery but I had work soon. He not only took care of me, but I got to work on time and its all thanks to Freddie and his team. Fast, accurate and timely service that fit my budget. Thanks guys, I will be seeing this Midas location again for all my car needs.

Went to have my front axles and related part replaced. I told them before they started working on the related part that I didnt need it replaced anymore. Afterwards when I came back I compared the prices and they charged me the exact same price whether I wouldve required the part or not. Dont go her. Theyll charge you for the same price for less work.

This place is the best shop in town . Andrew has given me the best service every time I come in and they get work done so fast. They can get big jobs done in one day and best prices from and big name shop. Well I must say its been awhile since Ive been as impressed as Ive been today with a business. Its not necessarily about the product its more so about the customer service and starting from the manager all through out the mechanics and staff at this location have done a great job. FYI, I am not sponsored to say this at all LOL however you have to give credit when credit is due. Andrew the manager has great customer service skills. I presented a problem he immediately solved it and he went the extra mile to make sure that I was taking care of. Danny one of the mechanics took care of me as well and explained some of the issues and solutions he provided. I want to say thank you for the customer service and the great job that you guys have provided you have definitely won me over and I will be frequenting this location often.

Andrew and Mike (the manager) are truly out to have the customer appreciate their visit!!! They are sure it is understood what they are doing to your vehicle AND they truly know that charging a reasonable price for services performed is of utmost importance: Mike believes people work hard for their money AND have to have transportation: collecting a reasonable amount to keep car running at highest (most opportune) levels is their goal!!! Do not get your car serviced here. I took my Lexus here summer of LAST YEAR to get worked on and in the process they cracked my radiator and messed up many other operations in the engine and tried making me pay for it. On top of that I’m still dealing with the mechanics mistakes to this day. Whoever worked on my car definitely did a terrible job causing me to get a whole new engine because of one mistake. This was also mentioned by many other great mechanics who have looked at the car. So thank you Midas. Thank you for ruining a 15 year old car and costing me thousands of dollars. I will never return to this business, they owe me an engine, they owe me a lot.

I went there they didnt tell me my check engine light was on.... and it wasnt on nor has it ever been on in my car since I had it... the guy lied... they wont ever get my business.... feel like they shade tree machines

Called yesterday for a ac diagnosis and I told them I had an 85 Toyota Tercel and they said to bring it in and said I would be there tomorrow. I get there today and before I even walk in i told the guy I called yesterday for a ac check and he told me that they dont work on cars that are 1995 and below. Its like why didnt you tell me that over the phone

I was given an estimate in minutes & job was completed in 1 hour. Cant say enough great things about the employees & business. Highly recommend

Would not recommend this shop. Shoved exhaust pipe inside my header which then leaked like crazy. Used 2 1/2 on one side and 2 on the other. Ruined over $300 in o2 sensors where the exhaust pipe was rammed into them. Didnt even put the clamps on in the right direction.

The manager “Andrew” was very professional and informative when I had several questions to ask. I also learned about some tips from him that had to do with my make and model even though I only came to his business for an oil change.

They were so helpful... I LUV THIS PLACE..! I went in for an oil change only. Then I saw a sign for FREE A/C Check. So I asked them to look at it...When they told me that i needed aHeater Hose Assembly Kit, they showed me video of my cars problem as well as explaining it, in detail, so that i understood exactly what was going on..!

The customer service here was great! Everyone I encountered was pleasant. The guy working inside both times I went in (Nick, I believe) was kind and knowledgeable. He was very upfront and honest, and he even opted to show me the things they noticed needed replacing during their inspection. As I sat in the waiting room I experienced his interaction with other customers as well, and he was honest with them about their needs for repairs rather than trying to get as much money out of them as possible (which is hard to come by.) I will definitely be back here for my car maintenance and repairs!

Scam artists. DO NOT TRUST.This is what my fiance said...Went in for an oil change, mechanic pretended I needed a new $130 battery. Told me, didnt ask me, TOLD me Ive been having trouble starting my car recently... which I havent.Suddenly, it wouldnt start when he pressed the button. I told him no, I replaced it less than a year ago and i didnt have any issue until you touched it. Then it magically started right up without issue.What bothers me the most is he told her that she might not make it home. A dead battery doesnt make the car stop running. Obvious scare tactic and lazy at that.

Best place in Carrollton. Customer service skills is off the charts. I took my car in after a botched repair job and my car was loud. These guys took their time and found out all bolts in my engine were gone and zip ties were put in to replace them causing my exhaust to leak. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

Wanted to believe I had found a good and trustworthy shop for my vehicles.I was so wrong! Year ago my wifeq car needed new brakes pads and Rotors. Plus new suspension arms and ball joints replaced total bill $590.I provided the suspension parts and Rotors all aftermarket parts. Well to find out a few days ago working on her car I notice the Rotors are the original factory ones.I got screwed and it’s my fault I didn’t check there work. I told the store manager my story very nice person to hearing me out. Right away told me that employee was no longer working for them. But wanna be clear that if that was going on about little over a year it’s still happening. That midas is not trustworthy place!!! Again it was my fault for trusting them.

Walked in 2 minutes late for my oil change. The guy behind the counter (named Michael) was wrapping up with a customer. There was one other lady in the wait room. Michael took about 10 minutes (not exaggerating) to talk to this guy about his commute to work, how tired he is after work and how he simply passes out when he gets home, and a bit of the other guy wanting to switch jobs. After the customer left, Michael walked straight into the workshop area, without acknowledging me nor the other lady in the room, even with us trying to catch his attention. We both looked at each other and didn’t really know what to do and spoke briefly about how unprofessional Michael had been. She then told the story of how she brought he car in 2 days before and had gone home without service because they ordered the wrong parts when she called in. This round, she had been in the wait room for 4 hours without them getting done.

I stopped by because my truck was not opening even though they do not do that type of work, a guy by the name of Ricky took time out to just check to see if it was something simple also some of the other guys looked up something on YouTube. To make a long story short a day later my truck was opening without any problems.BIG THANKS TO RICKY AND THE OTHER GUYS!

Great service. Didnt have an appointment but they took me right in. Only concern I paid for oil change and tire rotation, that was all done fine but air pressure was not checked in tires, noticed later and had to make a second stop to do that

* BECAREFUL HERE*Dropped of car for routine maintenance. Arrived to find car had been totally trashed. Everything in my glove compartment was on the floor. Things I had above the visors had been scattered throughout the car.Missing parts. Please beware

I had an unforeseen issue with my vehicle pop up when I dropped it off for a routine oil change. Nick was as understanding as possible and also went above and beyond normal customer service. Nick not only checked for my warranty info, but followed up with me throughout the process. This is the service that wins a customer over. This was my second visit to this Carrollton, TX - Midas location (for Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Top-offs, etc.) and this last visit, my 2nd, was the best visit & service by far!!! In addition, Nick has taken care of me ever since......OVER & ABOVE the Call of Duty, and as a U.S.A.F. Veteran, I know of which I speak and preach!!!Manager, Nick Lasco, and new hire (I believe), Cameron Lowe, were so Professional, on Top of Every matter, and provided me the very best Service and Care. Absolutely the best service! Brought my car in for an oil change. They really do tell you what your vehicle needs now and what can wait. For me my breaks were making noise and they were able to let me know they were still good but could be changed a few months. Pet friendly too, they have a dog name Midas :)I scheduled my brakes appointment for next week. Will be returning for all future car maintenance to this location.

I have to admit, I had never tried Midas. I had always been told they were overpriced for less than impressive service. That couldnt be further from the truth! At least not for this Midas. I cant speak for other locations but the manager was super helpful, didnt suggest things I didnt need, was very upfront about the things I did. The service was quick and much less expensive than I expected. Im glad I went, they gained a new regular customer from that visit.

Jim was an excellent task coordinñator and very knowledgeable about the process and about motors. Hework just hard on my 2004 Honda as he did for the rest of the clients there. I was desperate and he could pull it all together n

I went to check my a/c and they told me it was the compressor and the condenser and it had to be replaced the bill was going to be 1,700 dollars so instead to save money I and a friend installed it to save move after I installed it my a/c still was not working and my friend told me to replace the relay and fuse then my a/c started working my a/c compressor was fine and condenser it was just a relay problem made me spend way more they I should this company just wants your money I shouldve gotten a second opinion but whats done is done will never go here again!!!!

This place is obvously under new management! The service was outstanding and the new manager was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Did not have an appointment and they still got me in and out. They did not have the right size windshield wiper for my car but immediately ran out the door to get it from another location. The new manager, I believe his name is Jason, is really turning this place around.

CHARGED 99.00 PER COIL, FOUND THAT COILS (BOSCH) RUNS AROUND 26.00 PER. MANAGER HAS ANGER ISSUES. HAD TO TAKE CAR THERE 2 TIMES BECAUSE TUNE UP, BRAKES, PVC...COST ALMOST 1500.00. MANAGER DROPPED PRICE TO 60.00 PER COIL AFTER BRINGING THIS TO HIS ATTENTION, SAYS ITS WAS A COMPUTER GLICH THAT CAUSED THE OVERCHARGE. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PLACE AT ALL.

I had about $3300 of work done and had a couple of issues done wrong I’m writing this as money doesn’t grow on trees and we’ll one issue they installed a part wrong coil spring second they promise to change my oil and just left old oil in there and told me it had been changed be aware of this place they seem professional but are very shady when they do work.

I have a warranty on my brakes at Midas, so I took my car there. I described the sounds I was hearing as best I could. About ten minutes later a gentleman took me into the garage and pointed out everything that was wrong. He gave me a quick lesson on how the mechanisms inside the brake work, what was wrong with mine and why. I cant tell you how much I appreciate it when Im not treated like a ditz with Daddys credit card. He told me what was necessary to fix now and what could wait till later. They had me fixed up and out the door in an hour and fifteen minutes, which is amazing for my crazy schedule. I very much appreciated the work they did.

Unimpressed. I was told I had a 45 minute wait. 1 hour later and after seeing other customers after me getting service. I observed the techs talking down to customers and ignoring some. I finally got the clerks attention and he had forgotten all about me. A state inspection should not have to wait 2 hrs before getting service. They typically are the quickest, however, these guys dont seem to have a good queue system. I wouldnt recommend this location.

First off I dont normally write reviews due to the fact that Im way toooo lazy to put forth the effort so that should say somthing. I was happy with this place until push came to shove and they had to stand by a faulty part they installed. They installed a faulty turn signal for about $400 with labor and all that jazz. They wanted to charge full labor to reinstall the part to fix the issue since the part was under warranty but not the labor. I asked them to meet me half way on the labor and they acted like I was an idiot for asking. Where I come from the products you choose are and extension of your word and your promise to your customers. This is the main reason among a plethora of other reasons why they lost two loyal customers. They got money hungry

Dont take your car there, especially if youre a female. I took my 2000 Acura Integra in December and explained to Mike that I needed an alignment and that I that I think I had an oil leak. I told him Walmart would not change my oil because my drain plug was leaking. Mike, was an older heavy set gentleman who had worked for Midas 38 years. He told me he could put a plug in for $50 dollars if the pan was leaking. After the mechanic looked at it, he told me my oil plug was fine and that older cars leak a little from the plug. The mechanic said he could do an alignment because my front frame was bent. Mike suggested I take my car to a place off Harry Hines. I was very satisfied that Mike and the mechanic on duty where very honest with me. I took my car back for a list of things Mike had recommended I get done. Only problem, Mike had retired. I was not dealing with a young guy name Jeremy. I had an appointment and spent my entire day there, after Kyle the mechanic found oil in my spark plugs. A bill that should of been $200, ended costing me almost $700. My car was running rough after the ice we had. So, I assumed the amount I paid was what it cost. I took my car back in April 2014, and Kyle the mechanic greeted me right away. He must of remember how much money I spent. When I asked Kyle where Jeremy was, he told me he had found another job. When I went inside and spoke with Philip the new guy. I asked him about Jeremy and he told me he got fired for stealing. I needed an oil change, and my radiator flushed. Again I had an appointment at 11:30. Kyle didnt start working on my car till 1 p.m. I happened to ask Philip the difference between a transmission and an engine. He took me outside and said he would show me. The he said uh oh, your CV joints are going bad. He said he would get an estimate for me. He then came inside and said I had an oil leak. I told him what Mike had told me on my first visit. He said he would check it out. He comes back in and says I do have a leak in my oil pan and the ring needs to be replace. I bought this car off of Craigslist and the owner was a mechanic for Ford, the car was in pretty good condition.I started to have my suspicions about Kyle and Philip. I then had to leave due to a family emergency and asked if my oil change was complete. It was and I left. As I ran errands later in the day, I notice smoke billowing from my car. I stopped and open my hood and radiator is smoking. Kyle the mechanic had taken off the radiator cap and forgot to put it back on. The radiator had overheated and all the fluid had come out. I was mad. I called Philip on Monday and let him have it. He laughed most of the time. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner and he to me the owner was in Austin and would call me on Friday. I never heard from the owner. If youre a female and dont know a thing about cars, please, please do not take your vehicle to Midas!

RUN RUN far away from this place. i went in to have some work done on my truck, i thought the price was very high for what was being done so i took it down the road and had a second shop look at it. i did not tell them i can from midas. they came back to me with 200 dollars cheaper than midas. i dont write reviews but the guy at the counter upset me bad enough to get on line and write one. they are very rude here and even the tech that works for them said yes you could get a better price on the work else where we usually dont do that kind of work. i was a little confused they dont usually do that kind of work but they priced it high. i took my other truck to this same store 4 months ago and had the same work done as i was asking on my new truck and it was almost 175 dollars more than 4 months ago... the little guy at the front desk acted like he didnt need the work... they need to find someone that knows how to deal with customers and not worry about his chip on his sholder.... i would have rated it a 0 if i could....
