I’m so glad I found Toro’s auto repair! Art was the person I worked with to get a quote for a clutch replacement and shocks & struts replacements for my 2012 civic.The car feels like new again! The time to complete the repairs was less than 2 days, the work is excellent and the pricing was fair. I am a happy customer, and it feels great to support a local business.I will be returning to Toro’s for more auto repair needs. It’s great to have found a mechanic I can trust, and close to home.

Family owned buisness I wish I had gone here a long time ago. Best experience so far at a tech shop as a customer I havent needed extravagant repairs yet but when I do I hope to have Toro available. They have worked on my daughters Honda and my Ford Edge. (Recently did a complete brake job on the Ford) They did a great job and they are like new. I felt their prices are fair and and they are honest. The shop is very clean and organized.

Theyve done a number of jobs big and small on my Toyota. Quite happy with the work; communication is great & they do what they say theyll do. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here a few times, never had an issue but this last time wasn’t too good. Tire stud tread was completely ruined. Wasn’t informed of the mistake, not the owners fault, unfortunately it was one of the younger more inexperienced workers. Honest mistake just be straight forward if you’re at fault for something. Also when my tires were balanced the weights flew off after a while on the right side.

Great service! I am so glad that there is such an honest and reliable mechanic in Carpentersville. Took in my 2008 Acura MDX today because my headlight bulb was out. The owner Art was able to fix it without an appointment and I was on my way within 30 min. Great new spot check it out!

Went to Rivera because of my exhaust leak. They had the lowest price i can find in Elgin. They keep there ASE Certificates out in the office for all to see, its nice to see that the people working there know what theyre doing. Will definitely come back again.

I was overcharged, I dont think they have a set price for services, they just charge customers as they feel. I was there less than a year ago to exchange a tire on my vans rim and charged me $6, stopped by to do the same thing again and they charged me $15.

Mr. Crofoot is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and knows his stuff and I highly recommend him. As a previous business owner myself, I understand that nobody cares more about your business then you. Because he owns his own business and provides the services, Mr. Crofoot knows his reputation is vital to keep clients and for those clients to recommend him. Not only did he provide me with excellent customer service but also took care of my vehicle problems with a little extra care and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of as most mechanics try to do with women.
