AWE is out to SCAM its customers !!! Beware of this companyWe called AWE services for furnace repair as they claim to be experts with Lennox ( $15,000 system which they installed via COSTCO ). They sent a technician who charged us $520 for draining a clogged pipe and left the house saying he needs to replace bunch of control board replacement parts ( which need to get ordered ) to get the furnace working. I was very skeptical of this as we had just spent $2K replacing the control boards 2 yrs ago. Decided to call another company to come take a look and they fixed the issue by just making sure the water was completely flushed out of the system ( charged us $120 for this simple fix, no new parts installed ). See the picture attached which shows the water in the furnace that 2nd company had to flush out after AWE.When I called back to complain about this service, the service manager says she stands behind the technician diagnosis.. which makes absolutely no sense. They are out there to fleece their customers

From the start of my experience with AWE, Stacy- the sales representative was patient, explained everything to me on products and which fits best. She did not force me into any particular product and gave me suggestions on what would fit our familys lifestyle and budget. Great experience. Now to the installation guys, Rob and Cory. They arrived on time, explained what they will be doing and were very professional. Even though we were hone the whole time, we did not feel one but of inconvenience . They kept the floors clean with a tarp and cleaned up the area by the furnace and AC better than it was before.All in all AWE guys are awesome and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone that may need HVAC servicesP.S. I ended up getting the Lennox elite series for both furnace and AC. They are the variable motor ones.

It all starts with the in-house staff answering the phones. ALL of the phone staff are pleasant, positive, helpful and amazing with follow-up! Nick assessed a warranty repair with a new hire he was training. They were clean, professional and efficient with their time. I was impressed at how well Nick mentored the new employee with positive reinforcement, engagement by asking the trainee what he should do next, and helpful tips on the right tools to use to reduce the risk of damaging furnace parts as pieces are taken apart to troubleshoot. Keep up the good work in-house team and Nick!

Peter was really fantastic in his efforts to determine why our ducts were making a sloshing noise. He thoroughly inspected our AC unit and ducts, even those that were in our crawl space. Although there weren’t any immediate fixes to be made, he gave great advice on how to maintain our duct system going forward.

Gary North is knowledgeable and put together a system with the options I wanted within the budget I had to work with. The Office staff did a great job reminding me the job was scheduled without being annoying .Installation technicians were a credit to their trade. All work completed perfectly.

AWE has maintained our system since installed and has always responded quickly to any requests this time they replaced the fan motor on my A/C compressor that was still working but sounded like it was on its last legs.

Went with AWE due to their high rating on google, over 500 great reviews, and the fact that they were 30% cheaper than anyone else in the area for a humidifier install, and boy was that a mistake.I am pretty sure my technician was brand new, he continually had to call the shop for advice during the installation. While plumbing into the hot water feed from my hot water heater to feed the humidifier, they cut corners and made mistakes.They had to order a “special” part and decided to tie into the CPVC piping instead of replacing them with copper. Ultimately this led to the technician not gluing the special part correctly causing a catastrophic failure 5 days after the installation in the middle of the night. I don’t know if he didn’t use enough glue, didn’t allow enough time for the glue to set before turning the water back on, or leaving the glue in his truck overnight in single digit weather when it’s got an operating temperature of over 40 degrees, but ultimately the installation failed.I woke up that morning to a flooded home, 4” of water on multiple levels of my home and a flooded garage. I will give AWE credit for taking responsibility for the poor quality and failed installation, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that I’ve been displaced from my home for over 2 months with 6-8 weeks left until reconstruction completes.Lack of attention to detail and experience ultimately caused over 100k in damages to my home that was only 6 years old, and damage to personal belongings that cannot be replaced.To the next person who calls around to get pricing for an installation, don’t make the same mistake I did, and make sure your technician has been on the job for multiple years and has experience performing these types of installation duties.Advice to AWE: Your technicians that do not have the skills to perform day to day duties on their own, should not be in the field by themselves phoning back to the office asking how to do things. Your technicians should go through an evaluation process and spend time in the field with experienced technicians before being put out there on their own.To the technician whom I will not name that installed my humidifier, next time ask for help and have someone come on-site to perform duties you are not comfortable performing on your own.

We have used AWE and its previous iteration, The Heating and Air Conditioning Company, since 1983 in 3 houses. We buy the maintenance contracts on our furnaces andAC‘s. They contact us to make appointments for the checkups. They do good work, are trustworthy, polite, and happy to answer all questions. We never have to worry about our HVAC going out because they are annually checked and cleaned and evaluated by a professional. Peace of mind.

Once again AWE provided service above and beyond our expectations. Our AC and furnace shorted out from a storm and they were on it the same day to troubleshoot. Electricians had to come out to redo the power runs and disconnects. AWE came right back as soon as the electricians were finished. Couldn’t have asked for faster or more quality response.

Prior to Gary’s arrival he called to confirm the date and time of our appointment. He arrived on time and quickly got to work inspecting my exterior AC units and then my interior HVAC room. Gary inspected my entire HVAC system needs and explained what he was doing in a clear and concise matter. Gary was able to provide a quote for replacing my system right there during our appointment and he was able to show me all of my different options. I was very impressed with Gary and with AWE. Company was on time and professional when they quoted and then installed my Daikin Gas Furnace, A/C System, and new thermostat. The system is a huge improvement over my old system. The Daikin One thermostat is very high tech and the Daikin Fit - Inverter A/C system is super quiet. The variable speed blower motor on my gas furnace moves more air and is much quieter than my old system. Very happy with the install and everything works great!

AWE is a great company to work with. When they set appointment times they meet them and communicate clearly along the way.My technician Pete was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He was not in a hurry to get to his next service call, rather he went out of his way to be sure that I was fully informed of the status of my HVAC systems. Not only did he thoroughly review the services he performed, and his findings, but he also took the time to re-explain the operation and programming of a recently installed smart thermostat.

I called at 7 AM on one of the hottest days of the year to report that my AC unit was not cooling properly. The thermostat showed a several degree difference between the setting and actual temperature. I was able to schedule a repair visit for the same morning. The technical arrived a little after 10:30 and determined that the system was low on refrigerant. A short time later, we could feel the house cooling down. Im glad I went with AWE 17 years ago to replace the original equipment that came with the house. Im a regular maintenance customer which is probably why the equipment has provided great comfort for almost 2 decades. When the time comes, well go with AWE on newer, more efficient equipment.

June/this is my second appt with AWE....very pleased with our new tech EFRAIN/he was here to do the annual check up on our air conditioner/i liked that i signed up for the monthly auto pay when they came out for the furnace checkup last fall because this appt was covered under my maintenance plan/no check to write! November/first appt/needed furnace maintenance and repair.....everyone i talked with from the first phone call to the appt with the technician at our home was great....this company has been in business many years and really knows how important customer service is....great staff!

Our amicable, covid masked service man demonstrated flexibility in regards to our very curious dog who wanted to supervise everything. Initial tour of vent locations took 5-10 minutes and the rest of the time I was free to do what I wanted while he worked. Its a loud but worthwhile process which requires open doors (in our house, at least). I chose summertime for this service but Im always thankful for cleaner inside air during the winter.

A/C wasnt running. Called AWE as they do my maintenance and did the original install. Jeff came out within a couple of hours. GREAT guy. Figured out the circuit wasnt there, did a bypass and got it up and running! And now we know why so we can fix an electrical issue. Thanks Jeff! MOST RECENT CALL: I called AWE out because my furnace shut down. Turns out the problem was in the central humidifier system - the condensate pump was failing & shutting down the system to prevent flooding. As the pump was a recently installed unit, tech Ethan declared it defective & AWE replaced it under warranty - no charge! The usual caring & reasonable AWE service I’ve come to expect! Thank you AWE & Ethan!PREVIOUS CALL: I called AWE for service on my Aprilaire central humidifier after I turned it on for the season and it began leaking. AWE had a technician on site in just a few hours. He quickly identified the problem, found the required part (filter pad) in his truck, and got the job done! Pete was very courteous, careful and competent, got the job done quickly, left no mess, and was able to help me schedule duct cleaning in the near future. I’ve used AWE for all my HVAC needs for many years (even before it was AWE!) and have never been disappointed!

Lennox E30 electronic thermostat that was under warranty stopped communication w hub unit. AWE came out the same day to trouble shoot and determined the thermostat unit was defective. Hooked up my old t-stat as a backup while they procured a replacement E-30. Came back and did the install and all now appears to be working correctly. Their technician Alan was great - very professional and knowledgeable - AWE should clone him!!

The person who came from AWE to do the yearly maintenance on my A/C was very professional, told me what he was doing throughout the process, made sure my house stayed clean while he was checking the thermostat and furnace. Completely checked everything on the A/C and rinsed it down to clean the coil. I was totally satisfied with the service and it was competitively priced. Would recommend AWE!!!!
