We have been using AllStar for two years now and are very satisfied with them. Our tech always gives us written information and quotes, so that we can make an informed decision about the service, based on the needs of the PTAC units in our unit. Have purchased maintenance agreement and found it to be beneficial when we had to replace a unit. Highly recommend them. Professional at the home office and the technicians.

I called another company and set up an appointment for just a service call and they couldn’t get me in until June 24. That night my air conditioning went out totally. I called All Star at 3:30 the next day after I got home from work and told them my situation. The wonderful receptionist put me on hold and came back and said Colin will be over in 45 minutes. WOW!! Colin was very polite and informative as to what he was doing. I’m in an older home with funky electric wiring but Colin figured it out. Even went to Menards for fuses. Now I’m enjoying my cool house Thanks to All Star and their staff. ❤️

Have owned homes for 40 yrs. this furnace clean & check was the most thorough I can recall. Mark R. also vacuumed top of water heater, vent pipe & humidifier. he noticed a crimp in humidifier drain hose & replaced it. He offered suggestions to improve furnace operation & indoor air quality . Suggestions - I wasnt pressed to buy. I highly recommend AllStar Heating & Cooling.May 2021 Colin serviced the A/C unit. 5 stars for All Star. No one has cleaned the A/C unit as thoroughly in the 40 years Ive owned a home. Most A/C routiine service includes spraying the hose through the side of the unit. Colin removed the top and fan, sprayed a cleaning fluid on the condensor cells, rinsed it thoroughly, then removed the side panels and rinsed the outside. The water coming out was quite dirty - FYI it was serviced last year by a different company. .Highly recommend All Star Heating and Cooling.

Air conditioning always breaks when it is the hottest!! Of course mine went out on a Thursday when it was in the 90s. I called All Star and spoke with Virginia. She got me a new unit and scheduled my installation for the following Monday - that is ONE business day!! Chris arrived at noon - on time within the 11am - 1pm promised window. He was very professional, personable and polite and did a quick removal of the old unit and popped in the new unit and wired it up and tested everything. Then he walked me through all the settings and made sure I knew how to work the new unit which was a different manufacturer than the old one. GREAT JOB CHRIS!!!!! I would highly recommend All Star!! Sometimes things DO go well - this was one of those times! Im nice and cool now!

We called on 4th of July weekend at 830pm with no A/C. The technician Colin was at my home within an hour and had my unit fixed very quickly. I appreciate the time and effort AllStar and especially Colin put into fixing my issue so quickly. I would recommend to anyone looking to hire them to do a job and I will be looking at them when it will come time to replace my system.

Please ask for a printed written estimate and paper/work warranty in writing before allowing them to make repairs. also ask to see printed receipt. My receipt does not have a warranty. WARNING their electronic signature/receipt adds a disclaimer that you are happy with the service on the receipt even if you do not sign the 2nd signature stating the work was satisfactory. I initially called Allstar because the first repairman with a different company did not seem to know what the problem was. I tell allstar this and expressed my intermittent heating problems and concerns. The first tech they sent was not as familiar with electric heat as he was with gas. He puts in a relay switch without telling me the price. Says the repair is complete hits me with a bill for $371. Before I paid him the furnace stopped working. He said hed have to order another part and tried to bill me $99 plus labor even though it still wasnt fixed? I denied paying for labor and paid $99 diagnostic. I called the office talked to Virginia explained my frustration and told her in addition to it not being repaired right I heard the repairman on the phone with the parts store reading off a serial number to a part they didnt have in. If he knew it needed that part why say its fixed and try to leave? Virginia says she will send another tech out the next day and assured me this will not happen again. The new tech said I needed a limit switch and said its about $274 he installs that then said I may also need another part. I said well how much it that? He said he didnt know but will try to see it that will fix the problem. Next thing I know he says its fixed and I get a bill for $547!!! No warning! I asked him why wouldnt he tell me the price beforehand? He apologized but said this is the price. I asked for a part and labor break down he says they can supply it. I didnt want to pay without the breakdown but he said he couldnt leave the premises without payment. I paid.(receipt inserts Im happy which Im not) also 547 with no warranty mind you. I talk to Virginia she asked me what I wanted? I explained I wanted the estimate first and to not be forced into paying after the fact. She said all fees are flat rates. I asked her where are their fees posted? She had no answer. I asked again for a supply part and labor breakdown she declined but offered to come back and put my old faulty parts back in and take the new parts out with it being 34 degrees outside during mid day that was just rude to say. I feel like they added on since it took them a while to figure out the problem but that means they are no experts! Definitely no ALLStar I feel like I got charged extra for labor because they couldnt figure it out. Bottom line is GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FIRST OR THEY CAN MAKE UP A PRICE AND YOU WILL BE STUCK! $99 plus $547 ..2 stars because it seems like I have heat for now. Im assuming their reviews are higher because you kind of look like a liar complaining when a signed receipt inserts that I agree the work is satisfactory and my signature here signifies my full and final acceptance of all work performed by the contractor Also having heat during the winter time makes you appreciative

I called around 6:30 on a Saturday and by 7:30 everything was fixed and running smoothly. Chris was the tech and he was quick, professional, communicated everything and the price was reasonable!

I have been using AllStar Heating & Cooling or 5 years now for our yearly tune-up and maintenance. They have always been great to work with. Colin came out today to clean and tune-up our furnace, replace our filters and more. Highly recommend their services.

They arrived at the time they said, they even gave a curtsy call when they were on their way. The price I was quoted was exactly what I paid. They were able to fix my issue in one visit. One of the guys had to leave to go back to the shop to pick up a part. Other than that we didn’t have any problems.

Mark came to our apartment to service one of our units and did a remarkable job changing out something as seemingly simple as a fan blade. More importantly, Marks entire approach to his work is so professional and he is so competent that I just sat and watched him work. He is an expert at his work, and his approach to both his work and his customers shows up throughout the entire time he was in our apartment. I would recommend AllStar without hesitation. Every technician that we have had in our home has been exceptionally good!!

All Star saved the day when our AC stopped working at 6pm. Our Tech, Colin, was outstanding - very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. My mom had a service call scheduled for later this month, but her a/c wasn’t blowing cool, so we called to see if Allstar could come out today. Not only did they come by noon, but they didn’t charge us an emergency charge. Cameron was awesome!! He figured out that coils were dirty and took care of it within an hour. He was so helpful and explained everything well. I do want to add that my mom’s husband’s memorial is this weekend, so it’s a tough day for her. He gave his condolences and was so kind to her. Ive been using these guys for at least a couple of years now. I found them through Amazon Local, they were offering a great deal on clean and inspection so I bought two - one for the furnace and one for the A/C. We do have a new furnace so it usually doesnt take long for them to do the furnace cleaning and check. The A/C is older and I was a bit worried last time when he started talking about possibly needing to add freon - I thought here we go with the added costs, but turns out he was just letting me know because the A/C checked out fine and needed nothing additional. I guess I was just too use to a person showing up and finding issues with everything and wanting to repair and replace more than what was needed and the cost sky rocketing, but in this case it was just some up front information and turned out I didnt need the extra.The deal they have on Amazon Local is great, they also will call you when its time to use the second voucher for the furnace or A/C (depending on when you bought). Its always good when you find someone you can trust that will keep your cooling and heating appliances running. Sometimes a good deal isnt a good deal because once the work is started something wrong is found and now youre spending a lot more than expected; but not in this case and Im glad Ive found AllStar!

THANK YOU Ginny and Dave from AllStar.I called the Not-So-AWEsome company who originally installed my HVAC and they would not honor their warranty because I did not use them for annual check-ups. So I didnt use them this time either.It turns out that the Not-So-AWEsome company did not even register my equipment- My suggestion is that you make sure you get proof of warranty!
