Today I had an appointment to have our Honda Odyssey checked out because the passenger side window rolled down and wouldnt go back up. I dropped off our vehicle at 8am and by 8:45 Ron completed a diagnostic and called to tell me that the regulator was out. He ordered the part and our vehicle was back home by 11 am. Ron was very pleasant and professional and he did the work for a very reasonable price. Thank you, Ron. We are pleased customers! We look forward to continuing to do business with you.

This was my first time fixing my car at this shop. I found them through word of mouth and they did phenomenal! My honda is at 200k and sounded like a tank. Oil has been leaking for like 5 years or so. I went to honda dealer and they said 8k to fix everything. My car is not even worth that. Anyhow, other shops are also scary since you don’t know how honest they’re being with you. Ron is definitely trustworthy, does quality work , and was able to fix all that for a reasonable price (680). My car runs smooth now and I’m very happy and I finally found my mechanic!

I went in for an oil change and because my car was squealing. I had a pleasant experience. The oil change was a decent price and they showed me what was making the noise. Glad I had them check! I needed new front brakes and was treated with respect and had the brakes replaced also for a decent amount. I was able to get in & out in a little over an hour. They were very helpful & showed me exactly where the problem was. Thanks you guys. This is the second vehicle Ive had serviced by Wrench Rat and will probably go back when I need quick & inexpensive repairs again. Friendly staff 🙂👍🏻

Well I went there for a oil change because the place I normally go was closed that day for some unknown reason. It’s on the south side of Sacramento. The office is small small but clean. He told me the wait was about 25 minutes. I said ok. The guy seemed a little antsy like he was trying to do too many things at once.So the guy who did the oil change and showed me that I needed a leaking part replaced . At first I was skeptic. I was wondering if he was lying about what needed to be fixed and the price but I went home and thought about it for a few days. I talked to friends and family about it. I decided to get the repair. I drive almost 50 miles to work so I didn’t want nothing to happen going or coming back. I set up an appointment he told me noon . They told me I could wait or leave. I chose to wait because I didn’t have no one to come get me.While I was waiting the guy gave two customers deals on what ever they came in for. Now he had already told me what he was going to charge me so I was prepared to pay that. Meanwhile ppl coming in for oil changes and my car still sitting. They finally get to my car at 1:24 I’m like ok. What I needed repaired took about 20-30 minutes to do. They were done at 2:15.I was there for over two hours. So I was ready to pay an he said I knocked the price down but it was the same price he told me at first and on top of that it was a $10 tax. Mean while when every one else who payed he just charged them a flat fee. I did find out one customer was a friend of theirs. The other customer said he was expecting to pay a high fee but when it was time for him to pay it was waaay lower than he expected because he asked the guy was he sure that’s all. I figured he knew him too. Anyway that was strange to me but I thank God I had the money to pay it because I wasn’texpecting to pay that. Oh when I got my oil change I noticed they didn’t set my oil light because it kept coming on so before I left I asked the guy could he reset it. He didn’t know how to do it because he had to google how too. I thought that was weird. My car is a common car. He get out an says I think I fixed it. It’s still doing the same thing. So far my car is ok. I will not be returning there.

I used to go to a corporate-chain until now.Approximately 8 months ago I had my car serviced by Ron, and thankfully I made that change, because he brought to my attention something in my oil was the cause of my issues. Hed informed me about a engine recall on my car..due to this certain issue.I took Rons advice....I got a brand NEW engine. Through the dealership.Im thankful Ron found the problem. I KNOW HAD I GONE TO THE J.LUBE guys, they would have never noticed the metal bearings in my oil.My family and I are WRENCH RAT CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND..HANDS DOWN.

This shop is amazing! I have so many good things to say about them. I used to go to the old shop in this location and let me tell you its a night and day difference. They have really cleaned up this place, it looks so much nicer in the waiting room and they make you feel at home. Coffee, snacks and Netflix!!! The staff is so nice and friendly, they make sure youre comfortable and check in with you. The owner definitely takes pride in his business and making his customers #1 not just there to take your money. Last but not least their prices seem to be very reasonable compared to another shops.Thanks Wrench Rat for making a not so fun situation great, I will be back!

Ron is literally the best mechanic I have ever met. Hes a straight shooter. Will tell you what needs to be done now and what can wait. Hell show you what the problem is and explain what needs to be done. I take my van and my husbands truck here. He saved my van from picknpull heaven. Its not much to look at but it has sentimental value for me. So look bo further if your reading this this is the place to go and if you have to wait for him hes worth it 😊
