No communication did not help us find a solution to our problems with our vehicle just suggested some things then when asked about the check engine light when we picked up or car and if it was still on? Instead of telling us anything grabbed his machine in front of us and went and cleared the check engine light code. To come inside and still tell us nothing. So I would not take it to Midas unfortunately I’m starting to see why carmichael has such a problem getting keeping and maintaining business. Because they do not communicate and yes they have a customer service person at the desk but she is never in the office to help them communicate making their business suffer more. Extremely impressed with great customer service. My car was in and out for fixing an oil leak and getting an oil change in only two hours, and I didnt even have to miss a day of work to get it fixed. Highly recommended to those in the Carmichael area for any and all auto repairs.

I didnt actually go here, but I know someone who got excellent service from them.

I have used this shop for both my truck and my wifes car. They do great work and will make recommendations on what work can wait to be done. They take the time to explain problems and walk you out to the vehicle to show you the issue. Prices are fair and staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

Before I dropped my car off I was thorough with my questions. I guess I was too thorough because when I dropped my car off to get a tune up 2 hours later they were calling me saying they couldnt get spark plug out so they gave up. I went to the other Midas off Greenback. BEST DECISION EVER TO LEAVE THAT MIDAS AND GO TO THE MIDAS ON GREENBACK.

Midas, in Carmichael, fair oaks blvd. Absolutly the worst service. Scheduled 2 days in advance for rear break pads. Got to store on time , 8am. Told it would take 2hrs. First report back was pads worn out, rotors needed resurfacing and they wanted to replace sensor on rt rear. Over $300. I said no thanks to resurfacing and asked about sensor. It was stated it looked worn. I said it seems to be working? So lets just do pads. At 11:30 asked whats up with my car. Was told they were waiting for part to arive. And that it would take an hour for them to get there. Waited till 12 and asked again about delivery and was told moments they would be there. Two delivery vans came and went. One brought two tires, other exhaust pipes no pads. One mechanic sat on the computer for an hour then got up worked on another car hooking it up to a bat charger then came back to garage picked up a box and put shoes on my car. No delivery, they were there the whole time. And when done light still on which tels me that the sensor was the problem and pads were ok and did not need repair. Over 4hr and $220. Spent with no corect dx all for a job that should have taken 1 hr. Never going to a midas shop again. The one star rating needs a big - in front of it.

I love these guys. I admittedly dont know much, if anything, about cars, and these guys are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest. They dont rip you off, and are always friendly.

BEWARE ! ! I called Midas to get an estimate for my brake pads. I just got off the phone with another Midas (also a Pepboys and Firestone) with a estimate (not quote) and this location is the home of CROOKED MECHANICS. He wouldnt give me an estimate. He said to even look at the car they would have to do a full inspection front and back which Midas will charge me for the inspection (even if its exactly what I told them the problem was). This isnt the first time theyve tried to be slimy in the name of policy. Some are privately owned so its NOT MIDAS policy its slimy crooked mechanic policy.

This is the only car shop we take all our cars too. George, the owner is very honest and friendly. In the past weve had mechanics take advantage of us and has us pay for unnecessary repairs. Not this place. If something doesnt need to be replaced or fixed, they will tell you and actually help you save money! All their mechanics are very nice and knowledgeable also. Give this Midas try. You will not be disappointed!

Called for a price to get a heater core put in a 2015 Prius . Keith answered the phone and told me they wouldnt do it because the car is too new and they dont have the technology yet. Funny that the other midas can give me a quote.

Even with a appointment they still had a wait time of 2 hours

Great staff and quick service

Very rude and unprofessional. I was trying to find the uber building witch is next door and an older white male at the counter pretty much ignored me. Then I asked where is the address I was looking for and sarcastically says it aint here its down the street somewhere. I asked him why are you being so rude. He just shrugged his shoulders and said im not. Iam a young black male with a nice car and it seemed he got intimidated and decided to act crazy for no reason. I work hard like any other man and get my belongings legally. Its just unfair and stupid that people act that way. If i could find a picture for that man I would file a personal complaint about him.

I went in to get a oil change and the guy at the counter was nice but after the job was done the other mechanic who worked on the car I assume, was very rude to me. Almost as if I offended him for bringing my car in. He went on to explain all the things that were wrong with it in mechanic talk and I barely understood him. Then when I asked the first guy how much it would cost to fix all the problems he vaguely said upwards of at least 1000$. Then after driving my car for a few hours, I noticed that they didnt even lock the hood down on my car after they worked on it. So I called and left a message for the manager to let him know how bad the service was. And a few days later the owner reached out to me, calling to let me know he was sorry for the bad service and to come back again and he would be sure to give better service. He also said at the time of the bad service, he was on vacation but he would speak to his employees regarding this incident. Im glad the owner tried to rectify the issue. So I might go back but I will call ahead first.
