Outstanding custom serservice. Having issues with multiple false warning lights staying on unable to clear. Called and made appointment. I actually showed up a little early. They took my truck right in and were able to diagnose and correct the issues right away. They had me in & out within the hour. From the 1st phone call to check out everyone was very friendly, courteous, informative and very helpful. I found Superior Auto Repair to be clean, punctual, fairly priced and professionally operated with great technicians. I have had my late model corvette serviced twice now at Superior Auto Repair. With that said the first time they found quickly what was ailing my car that two other prior service centers could not. The second time was just the same in that they put he right person on the task and the repairs were done in a quick and professional manner. Very pleased with overall professionalism, and very friendly team overall. Provided timely updates, worked with me on my asks regarding my 87 Vette as it is an extremely low mileage collectable. Updated AC, brakes and new shocks. Work seems to be well done. Will be our go to shop for the Vette.

The name truly says it all here. Superior.I have spent over 30 years in the automotive repair industry and this facility sets the bar for other repair shops to achieve. Spotless new facility, instant estimating system, super professional ASM and reception desk. Then there’s the state of the art equipment, phone updates of status, and completion time prior to that promised.I must confess I am well beyond the norm in keeping my cars shiny clean and am always greeted with grease stains and handprints at any shop I’ve used before. Not this one! They did some major surgery without a fingerprint or footprint. Thank you for that!I knew when I saw the parade of beautiful cars around this place they were A1, but didn’t think I could afford it. Turns out they were less expensive than two estimates elsewhere. The best park: No upsell attempts, just what I requested, done very well. Thank you Brian, Cory, and the super nice lady at the desk! :)

Having been raised in the automotive world as well as working in the Customer Service field most of my career, they are very important to me. I am very grateful for the service that has been provided to our family on numerous occasions in the past several months. They truly live up to there name and are highly recommended!

Have used this shop and 3 times not happy. AC spent over $700 for it to work one year. then told a new ac for a 5 year old car would be over $2,000. Maybe for my house! Next place told me they should have done a few other items to find the issue and that they did not take that approach. I would not go back or refer anyone here. no stars. - just went back in after reading similar reviews....seems they have an answer for everything so i am editing my post before they tell you how wrong i am -as the customer. -sorry not superior -

This company has always been very professional, and performed great service on my cars. I trust them to take good care of my vehicles. Very courteous, pleasant waiting area, and do not overcharge.

I took my 2001 mustang in to obtain some mechanical checks and price quotes on the cost of parts and labor. Now I have to admit the total cost of everything was quite pricey. But when you want top notch quality work performed on your vehicle. Then thats what I prefer. When I walked inside the building. It look extremely outstanding. You cant help but to feel very comfortable and relaxed in the waiting area. The young lady at the desk was so very nice and very professional. Service with a smile can go a long way with customers. But all customers should also display a kind and understanding attitude as well. No matter how bad my day is going. Ill not take it out on the person that is greeting me or assisting me. The gentleman that gave me the price quote, was very professional and understanding of my concerns for my vehicle. Overall Superior Auto Repair deserves 5 stars.Louis Jackson

2nd time working with this crew and they’ve been great both times. Stayed in close contact with me while quote/repairs were progressing. Prices were very reasonable both times. Their processes are very customer focused. Definitely recommend this business.

I took my car in for an oil change- had my wife bring it in. They did use good oil and apparently more quarts than normal, but they charged me $166 for an oil change. I would have not done that if I knew the price ahead of time as they never gave me a quote when I booked the appointment. They called me the next day to see if everything went well, concerns, etc- I expressed my concerns with the lady about the price as I have looked around and it is typically about $80, and she basically said, well sorry. I definitely am not going back there for oil changes. I think it would have been less at the dealer!

Superior Auto Repair went above and beyond for us. Our daughter broke down off the Selmon Expressway in Tampa. They arranged a tow truck, diagnosed and completed the major repair to her Jeep within 2 days.. The staff was friendly, waiting room is above average and the prices are fair. I absolutely recommend Superior Auto Repair for any maintenance or repairs.

Limped my vehicle over to Superior Auto and were pleasantly surprised at the courteous and quick attention I received from Lori and Brian.Before you knew it I was back on the road.A few days later I needed an unrelated problem looked at. Called the shop and was asked to bring it by so they could attend to it right then.Before anything is done a precise estimate and full explanation is provided so you can make up your mind for yourself as to whether you want to spend the money for the repair.On top of the friendly atmosphere and expert mechanics the shop is immaculate.This has now become my go to repair shop.Wish I could give it 10 stars.

It has been my experience that you can gage the quality of the service by how the shop is maintained and the appearance of the employees. When I arrived for my first visit, I noticed that the shop was pristine, the floor was spotless. The mechanics were in clean clothes and they were clean also. They people I talked with were courteous, friendly, and attentive to what I wished to have done to my car. Service was fast and my Corvette was returned to my the way I brought it in, no grime, no handprints, no papers left in my car. A top notch operation. I will come back.

Very happy I called Superior Auto when my car was dead and stuck in park. Mike the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, as well as his service manager Jim. You can really tell that this shop works hard for customer satisfaction and is realistic about what your car needs done now, and what can wait. I am very very pleased with their level of service, plan on coming back for regular oil changes and any other problems my car decides to throw my way!

I have taken my car to Superior for years, and they have always treated me very fairly. I dont worry about them trying to up-sell me for work I dont need. I always drive old cars, and they need work from time to time. Mike always makes it easy to get the work done, and I have always been happy.

Customer service by Brian Forester is poor. The company completely replace my sons air conditioning unit 6 months ago and now the unit blows hot air and they refuse to repair it under the warranty. You are better of going somewhere else to get a warranty on your repairs and customer service.

Great shop, they take the time to answer your questions and dont make you feel like a dummy for asking. They have never taken advantage or recommended a service that wasnt needed. Clean shop, free wifi and snacks, super nice front desk people, all in all I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I will bring my vehicles here from now on.

It was a nightmare from the start even a simple oil change was a bad experience they rotate your tires as part of the oil change put they dont put the tire back on secure all my lug nuts where half off 2 days later when I stopped at a tire shop to see why it was riding funny also had rear main seal and crank shaft seal 3 times I had to take it back then ended up in court Mike Thorpe the owner comes off as Mr.Nice guy smooth talker but it is BullS### and I know a few friends I sent to him for location that are unsatisfied also had a friend have some electrical work done not too long ago and of course he had to return because work was not done proper so beware of this so called mechanic

I stopped in without an appointment and they accommodated me, which I greatly appreciated. They found the problem with my vehicle quickly (3 other local businesses were unable to diagnose the problem) and provided several viable options to fix it. They just earned a new customer.

I drive an average of 3,500 miles per month. Needless to say, my car is crucial to my being able to do my job. Mike and his team keep my car in top running condition. They have never suggested something that was not needed or would not be needed within the next month. Since I drive monthly what most drive in three months, knowing what may become a problem before it does is important to me. They are the best, thank you Superior Auto!

This is our second time to have work done at Superior Auto Repair. We are very happy with the repairs, service and honest manner in which Mike Thorp runs his business. In this day and age of Big Box businesses it is wonderful to see a family operated business who truly care about their customers. I find it hard to believe any of the negative reviews posted here. Great service! Had a bad experience with another local repair shop wanting to charge for all types of add-ons, most of which were considered unnecessary. Superior was very clear on the options and the problems and did the work timely and affordably. They even called the following day to make sure the car was running well.

Unprofessional, rude and uncouth front desk. They speak badly about customers to other customers, a total turnoff. Mechanical work was okay - couldve gotten the same results elsewhere without being totally uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room listening to the front desk staff bad mouth people while waiting for my car to be repaired. Go to Lexs or Keeners where the staff is pleasant, efficient and rated higher than this place.

Avoid! Good talkers. Bad mechanics. Almost everything I had done there had to be redone, some by other shops. Last time they told me that I needed a new engine. I took it to another shop and they had it fixed the same day. They charged me $450 to tell me I needed a new engine and when the other shop fixed it they wouldnt refund anything. That was 20,000 miles ago.

We just picked a friend up from here and she loves it they are very friendly and i went inside and they are clean and provide free coffee and snacks such as granola bars to anyone waiting. Restrooms were very clean as well. The man that picked her up was very friendly and professional.

Used to be a great place to go, not anymore. Avoid at all cost.

AVOID AVOID!!! My fiance had a terrible experience with this auto repair shop. Not only did they wrongly diagnose the problem ( perhaps deliberately..hmmm?), the owner charged for almost a days worth of labor and although I cant remember the hourly amount, I think it was $90/hour, we also found out later they had also massively inflated the prices of the parts. He refused to warranty his labor on parts if you purchase them privately, forcing you to pay his hefty marked up prices for the exact same part. When my fiance got the car back, worst still, it still had the same problem. Almost a thousands dollars wasted!!!I think the place should be called Inferior Auto Repair!!!My fiance went to another mechanic called Bobby who sorted it out in less than an hour, total cost $127. Bobby will always get our business now.

I was badly ripped off by these guys. The owner pretends he is all nice and honest, but then marks up everything and when you challenge him on the prices he starts to becomes a lot more nasty. He says he charges for labor and parts, however that makes you think he is not making a profit on the parts, but that is not the case. I would forgive a 10% markup, but almost 70% markup !!!!! His labor prices are almost the same as a dealers, so you dont really save on labor and then he puts a HUGE markup on the parts. Also, I did not trust the times he quoted. I will never use this place again. Oh, and what was worse the repair they did quickly failed, so i took it to another autoshop who shook their heads, called the installers cowboys and then did the job correctly at less than 50% of superior auto repair. My recommendation- AVOID ! Save Money and Hassle.

Took my car in for an oil change and after the service my oil light came on then my check engine light. Took my car back there to see what was wrong and they wouldnt even scan my car without charging me $98!! Took my car to another shop to find out they put the wrong oil in my car! Horrible customer service and obviously no attention to detail. Would NEVER recommend to anyone
