Poor ethics, lack of professionalism. I worked as a personal trainer for them (while they owned Michael’s Body Scenes as well). Did my job but did not receive my check. The only thing I received is the excuses from Howard (manager) for weeks until he stopped replying at all.If you guys cannot afford me, give me a call, I might help you set up a payment plan. But I sure did not sign up to volunteer for you.

Love my home gym and gym family at Busybody!!!!! I have been instructing here for 8 years now and working out here for longer... the vibe is always motivating and the people are awesome. Ron, Haley and Howard are the best! So much equipment and a variety of classes for every type of goal. A+++

Workouts are very interactive. They also offer a variety of classes and personal training to change up a normal workout routine. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

I recently had to freeze my account here because I’ve moved farther down south, but I feel the need to leave a review. Busy Body is hands down the best “no frills” gym I have ever been to. I say no frills because this gym is not for those looking to come to the gym to sit in a hot tub or a sauna for half an hour while you scroll through your phone. They’ve instead invested their time in money to make this gym functional, with plenty of equipment and space for everyone to workout. They have multiple sets of free weights, tons of benches, awesome cardio machines, plenty of space for activities such as walking lunges or any other exercise that requires you to have ample space for movement. Both the staff and members here are respectful and helpful. In my experience I have learned that the members of a gym almost play a larger role in your experience while there than the staff, simply because in other gyms members will take weights, leave them in a totally different location than their supposed to be so you can’t find them, or sit on the same machine for twenty minutes while texting or talking on the phone or in person with their buddy. Don’t get me wrong, it happens occasionally, but overall the people that work here and workout here come in to better themselves and not waste time doing anything else. I have made significant progress in the year of 2021 and I strongly believe that the flexible hours, ample equipment and space, and the members and staff at Busy Body played a huge role in that. I hope to be closer to Boca one day so that I can return. If you’re living in Boca Raton and are looking for a gym Busy Body is a no brainer!

Would give ZERO STARS if this review would allow it and here is why. Before Covid we gave this gym a very good mark. We have had memberships for 3 years now and referred someone who also signed on for a membership as well last year. However after March, shutdowns and the obvious reluctance to go into any gym for a while, we decided to purchase our own equipment and exercise at home. I called and spoke with a Ms. Haley to discuss some sort of pro rated refund off the $630.00 plus taxes 1 year 2 person membership and was flatly told no refund or recourse at all. Wow. Nice customer service. She then said to call a Mr. Howard which I tried to no avail. All Im asking for is an understandable PRO RATED refund. Not much to ask really. Im sure the Better Business Bureau and the State of Florida Business Concerns will like to hear this story. PS: I do have another recourse, a very good friend at our local TV news station. Lets see if Ms. Haleys remarks stand up.

Great old school gym!!! Huge floor w plenty of equipment. You name it its probably in there. Very clean plenty of paper towels and sprays. Lots of parking. The place is so big it never feels crowded. Friendly staff and lots of coaches and personal trainers. A really nice boxing MMA area, class room, nursery, clean bathrooms. Just really good energy for anybody!

Busy Body is really a great neighborhood health club! I have worked out here since the day it opened. The equipment is top of the line, the management is super friendly and professional, and the members are fantastic! There is something here for everyone -- from the serious lifter to the novice. Everyone gets along great and the welcoming atmosphere sets it apart from your average gym. Also very reasonably priced and ultra clean!

Great gym. Has everything you would need for whatever level of fitness you are in, it has something for everyone. This is definitley not a social club, people go there to workout.

My membership was transferred here by Crunch Fitness. Management is doing right by me and refunding me $21.95 since I cannot go to this gym in Central Boca. I live in Broward. Which is more than I could say for Crunch who I watched sign members up all week long before they closed. I never even worked out at Busy Body and I can tell these are stand up guys + gals. BUSY BODY > CRUNCH. 0>CRUNCH

Awful customer service , I called to make sure I was cancelled when covid hit nobody answered . They were closed and still placing charges on my account for months . I haven’t been there in probably a year , called yesterday to make sure I was cancelled and they still charged me today. I let them run charges on my account while I wasn’t using it in good faith for a year ! I def. will be not recommending .

The best gym you will ever find in south Florida. A very large selection of great equipment so you dont have to stand around waiting on one to use. More squat rack and benches than any other gym i have ever seen. The management and members are very friendly even the cleaning staff are friendly lol. The inhouse protein bar is well stocked and make excellent shakes. If your looking for a gym to settle down and get that work in look no further Busy Body Fitness Center do your self a favor stop in and take a look i bet you well love it...

I honestly love this gym after my home gym closed I had to find a new one and I can’t imagine going somewhere else there’s so much equipment and space the possibilities are endless for your workouts

Amazing place all sort of equipment to very hard to find one there but only issue is that its not that organized but beside that it great.

I have been a member of Busy Body West Location for almost five years. The employees, trainers & members make it feel like family. People from all Age groups and all walks of life come to the gym which makes it a versatile place for fitness. When new ownership took over there were many improvements made, (new spin bikes, machines) & now open 24 hours which is a plus. Ron and Howard are always professional, pleasant, & listen when I voice any concerns...& are respectful. Problems are handled almost immediately, that is why I’m suprised to see negative reviews..... 🤔The group classes are excellent & offer an array to choose from (yoga,body pump, spin, cardio). Shannon Casey & Christine K.’s classes are exceptional...& they both have great energy in class, and when they are training...there are various knowledgeable trainers depending on your goals. I am glad that busy body is part of my daily routine for the past five years. The childcare has improved a lot over this time as well (better staffing then previous owner), and the girls in the daycare are amazing with my two daughters (Katherine is the best). The only downside is that parking can be full in the morning busy hours, but that means they are doing something right...Lastly I would like the add that their pricing is comparable and a decent value when looking in the area at other gyms. For around $35 a month it’s great for the classes, location and service. A lot of other gyms seem to charge for childcare (per kid), and have limited or no classes.

Currently in the process on going through the motions of trying to get a refund with the BBB and the FDACS. Gym refuses to give refunds to paid in fulls (paid for the year) and they state it is on the contract but it is not. Not a good way to run a business.

Absolutely the best gym in South Florida!! The owner Ron, manager Howard, and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly at this gym you just get to workout with the best in the business with No Judgement.

I’ve been working out here for about a year.Good gym, but they need to get some more barbells for the benches/squat racks. They don’t have enough for the gym so every time you work out, you have to hope that not every bench/squat is being used and go grab one, and then carry it around for your whole workout as you use the other benches.They also just did a renovation, mainly just painted and moved everything around, and during that renovation, they got rid of one of the flat benches. Y’all need to add more benches not subtract, now there are only two.

Have not been to a gym in a long time Leo he’s a personal trainer who has helped me tremendously with headaches I get every day sciatic pain and back pain. Finally found an alternative to pain medication and not being able to move for many years. Wish I lived here as I would be here at least three times a week. Everyone is very nice and helpful. They’re all ages of people. Boxing. Very clean shower area. Highly recommend. If you cannot find a machine here, you will never find it

For the serious gym goer. Equipment is ok. The best is Vanessas cardio interval class. Shes awesome and the class is amazing. All other staff is friendly as well. And they include the childrens daycare.

The great thing about this gym is that they have a variety of classes for all fitness levels. Their staff and knowledgeable coaches are interested in helping you build a foundation first and then see you progress as an athlete.

I was a member of Busy Body Gym for years and I have referred many friends & family members as well. Its what you would call my home gym. Its an amazing gym with a variety of equipment to choose from. They have everything that you could think of as far as training goes. The only complaint that I had, and for me this is huge, no one racks their weights. There are weights, plates, steps, mats, kettlebells, water bottles, etc. all over the place. The weight racks are mostly empty and the weights are under them or pushed against the wall or on the other side of the gym. I spoke several times to management and they said they would start to clean up but unfortunately it never happened. In my opinion, its actually the members responsibility to put their own stuff away but people really dont care anymore. So that leaves the establishment to figure out what to do & that was not done. My membership has expired and I joined another gym. The gym I joined is not really my type of gym but it is clean and I dont have to search all over the gym to find what Im looking for. My wish is that Busy Body changes that so I can return to my home gym!

Convienant location, lots of equipment to pick from, BUT this location as I have not visited others is very very dirty, and the equipment is old and antiquated at best. Tried my free day, and I will not be returning or making recommendations to friends about this location. Two stars is a courtesy for the free trial day.

Amazing Gym 5 stars!

Im a member of Busy Body Fitness Center on 20th Street and I decided to visit their location at 9183 Glades Road in Boca Raton today. The club is very spacious with lots of great exercise equipment. I took a look at the spin studio as I often take spin classes and it has plenty of bikes and a nice atmosphere. I also noticed this location has a juice bar, pilates studio and a room for exercise classes. Its great to have a couple of locations in town to visit when the mood hits me.

You get a real workout here. And Staff is very friendly.
