What a great experience. Loved how the staff did a top notch job of putting together a fun community event. Must say the BBQ was excellent along with the music. Great way to make people feel at home and definitely look forward to the next one.

I applied at this location on 9/13/21. I was contacted a day later about needing more information and I sent them. I’ve been calling the front desk a total of 5 times on the week days during operation hours and was sent straight to voicemail. I even went to visit twice. The first time I went there was a note on the door that said they were closed for two days but will be open on the 23rd. When the 23rd came I showed up again only to find that the door were locked and no one was answering! At this point I would like to receive a refund since it’s been almost two weeks without me receiving a status on wether or not I was approved or denied. I received no phone calls or emails at all.

I recently stopped by for some information as I’m trying to move from Georgia back to the Birmingham area. Savannah was wonderful and helped me with all the information needed and Alisa even walked out of her office to introduce herself which was a huge statement to me. I was able to view the amenities with savannah, and I know the pool will definitely be a place I will be at. If anyone is looking to move to the Birmingham area, I highly recommend Madison Place. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. I am very pleased that all my questions were answered.

Savannah and Alisa are by far the most amazing people ever! With this being my first apartment, they were always there to answer any questions that I may have had—even if it was through a simple text! From reading the reviews to interacting with property management, I can assure you the experience is about to be PHENOMENAL!

I just moved in today, and had the best experience I have ever had today with Savannah. She made everything easy and an easy transition moving into Madison. Her customer service was by far the best I have ever received. She was always keeping me up to date and is a true professional.

I am going to be super honest with yall. Ive been living at this place for almost 6 years now. Other than the location of these apartments, theres nothing positive I can say. The first issue is maintenance, they DO NOT show up at all even though how emergent of a situation it is. They require you to place a request, and it looks like a request is just a request. NEXT, the pest control service is 0/5. They come in and spray stuff like they are spraying a room refreshner (quantity vise). I think it is just water that they are spraying because it has not been working. How would you feel if you had roaches (big fat ones ok) walking on the floor, on the walls, in the sink.. and just everywhere else. The fear of them going in my food is just gross. Dont yall think I deserve to be treated right when I am paying to stay at this place, atleast the services listed in the lease. Unfortunately, not. There are no complement services for being here for X amount of years, but every year the rent has to increase. I have never been offered a carpet change, blinds repair, cabinets repair.... infact nothing so far but I have genuinely paid my rent. If you do not pay your rent on time, they start charging you $5/day. Can I just not pay the rent till they come fix an issue. I WISH that was an option, because either way I am in LOSS. If you look onto their website, they have newly renovated apartments now, can they not fix a few things for current residents????Lastly, I am about to leave this place as soon as my lease ends and I highly recommend each one of you to not even decide to tour this place. YOUR MONEY IS NOT WORTH THIS PLACE....

We went to find an apartment, and were given amazing service and when we finished application, we got an answer almost immediately. Savannah was just amazing in helping us get our new home. Couldnt have asked for an easier process.

Savannah has been way more than helpful with my move-in process. Talk about a breeze! Every question and concern has been understood and answered in a timely manner. And so far my stay has been great!

Madison Place is a lovely place to live. The management is awesome helping with any issues that occur in a timely manner. I will recommend these apartments to all my friends.

These apartments are not safe and the management and front desk are rude and have no regard for anyone. One of the residents has TWO pit Bull breed dogs who were NOT on the lease of the apartments and even AFTER they attacked a 6 month pregnant woman were not required to removed from the property. There have been absolutely no repercussions and i don’t feel that these dogs should even still be allowed on the property. I would not recommend these apartments if you care about your safety.

We are going on Six years this Christmas that we have been renting at the Madison Place. The Madison changed hands twice since we signed years ago. Today, this company has got it right. But I want to talk about the Property Managers (Alisa Gendron) Pro-active approach to issues. No one has been better at handling issues than Alisa for us and our neighbors also agree too. Diplomacy, professionalism and proficiency exude her management style and we couldn’t be happier.

Professional and courteous staff. Any issues are handled timely. Family friendly and great location.

I came here on Friday, April 9th to check out the complex. Was I was greeted by Alisa the property manager. She gave me the information I asked, showed me the exact apartment I was going to live in. I applied the same day and on Monday I was told I was able to move in on Tuesday. The entire process was effortless. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

This place is great. Cant wait to move in. I had been trying to find somewhere for my daughter and I to live. Savanah was very understanding of my situation veey nice and was able to get us in. If youre looking for somewhere nice, affordable with a great staff this is the place.

Unfortunately we haven’t had the greatest experience here, solely due to maintenance issues. Our air stopped working about TWO months ago and it’s still not fixed. This is completely unacceptable. We call, go to the office and leave work orders and emails and it still doesn’t get resolved. They’ve sent someone over a couple of times, after hounding about it for weeks at a time, and it still doesn’t get fixed. All of this is happening in 80 degree, sometimes higher, heat. They gave us a small unit that only cools off one bedroom. The rest of the house is HOT. Especially when we cook. It’s very sad. When we go to the office, we get a quick, “Well send someone out” and that’s it. Then no one come til weeks later. As of today, it’s still NOT FIXED. Other than that, we have super sweet neighbors and the area is quite quiet.

The worst infestation of roaches, rodents, and mold in an apartment complex that I have ever seen! And I am 60 years old and have lived at many different apartment complexes.

The property manager, Alisa Insufferable Rude AF Gendron, is the absolute worst. Place is infested with mold and pests. Apartments are falling apart inside and out. Entire place needs to be bulldozed.

This apartment complex is a joke. I was told sometime back on August 28,2020. That I had to complete a 60 day notice form in order to vacate the premises. I completed the form and was given a date to move out on 10/29.I went to the leasing office on 10/28 to make sure all outstanding payments were paid and verify i was in the clear. I told the office I would move out the next day and return the keys. The leasing manager Alisa then gave me a form to place my forwarding address on the paper and told me to leave my keys in the apartment and i did just so, i received a call from an old neighbor several times stating that the maintenance people was in and out of the apartment. I received a call today stating that a paper was on the door so i told them to read it . She said the paper stated i owed a balance. I called the leasing office to inquire and was told they didnt know i had moved out. Please be aware of this complex they will try to nickel and dime you dry! Pay attention to you bills especially if you have automatic draft set up.I have several people who can speak to this fact! Thank god I have friends in law school who know people and who will handle this for me!

Frankly if i had to chose between living in this apartment complex or an abandoned psych ward I’d choose the ward. Moldy, pest infested units and no regard for tenants health or safety.

I have never felt safe living here. I know of residents cars being broken in and my car alarm has gone of several nights before. Management is not helpful, it’s clear they care about money more than the residents. Can not wait to move out this roach rat infested apartment.

We moved in late last August and I would sign a new lease right now if I could. I absolutely love living here. The office is incredible and maintenance acts promptly and efficiently. For its location just off of 280, the price cant be beat and the amenities rock! I am proud to call Madison Place home!

This is a horrible place to stay. The management is inconsiderate, they are CONSISTENTLY turning the water off for repairs and the neighbors are unruly. THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!! do yourself a favor and spend a little more money per month on your lodging! You’ve been warned

These are the WORST APARTMENTS I have ever lived in! My building needs a new roof causing us to wake early every morning to squirrels scratching the ceiling. Breezeway needs SERIOUS pressure washing! People are allowed to leave trash outside of their door for days/weeks! The water has been OFF IN THE COMPLEX ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS! The list goes on! I was given a unit that had very old carpet needing to be replaced! Hall bathroom has rust in the toilet and sink! 🤦🏽‍♀️

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is AMAZING. The staff are all very nice and helpful. I was personally helped by Chris and he was great throughout the entire process. If you are looking for luxury and affordability check this place out. You wont regret it.

My roommate and I have lived here for almost three months. Madison Place has almost no parking after 3p.m. every day. We have put in multiple maintenance requests that have yet to be fixed. The upstairs neighbors are constantly stomping and slamming things. My fiancé just recently moved in and is in the process of adding himself to the lease. He called the front office and talked to Alisa Gendron whom was extremely rude to him! She told him she would not speak to him about the maintenance request because he is not on the lease, he pays rent just like everyone else that lives here!! We can NOT put him on the lease until someone answers our emails and phone calls!! I called the office 10+ times and had to walk all the way around the office to FINALLY find someone to speak with about adding him to the lease. Instead of answering phones and helping the residents that live here they would rather ignore the problems. We completely understand why no one has lived in the apartment we are renting, for almost a year. I have reported multiple times that when it rains our patio is completely flooded!! Madison Place is more concerned with their online appearance than in person. Also, since moving in, the dumpster out by the road stays overflowing all into the road. It has gotten so bad that they have marked it off with caution tape and let people pile their trash all in the road. This is absolutely EMBARRASSING when guest come over!!! I’m highly disappointed and would NEVER suggest someone to live here! It is way over priced especially for the condition of the apartments and it’s surrounding outdoor areas.

Moved in the middle of a pandemic and I could not be any more pleased with my experience. I love my apartment, the area and the amenities. The property is quiet and clean and the one maintenance issue that I did have was resolved.

Overall living at the Madison Place is a very pleasant experience. I have been a resident for 5 years and enjoy this community. There has been very few issues which is to be expected at any apartment community. The upgrades the past few years have been great. It is a great location close to shopping, restaurants/bars, major roads/highways. Also the many amenities are a plus. Compared to other apartment complexes Madison Place Apartments is highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVE living here. Great location, reasonably priced, GREAT maintenance staff, and BEAUTIFUL grounds. There are so many pretty trees and I love the pond too! They recently put in a walking trail around it as well which is really nice. Can’t wait for cooler temps to walk around and enjoy that more. And the maintenance staff, John and Jeff in particular, are WONDERFUL. We had an urgent issue with our a/c in the DEAD of summer and they got here super quickly and did everything they could to get that repair done quickly for us. John even took the time to call me personally after hours and update me on it while we waited for a part to come in, and that made me feel heard and appreciated. Those guys are awesome! My mom lives here too and has for a lot longer than myself, and she always raved about how hard the maintenance staff worked for her and that is not always common in apartment communities. We LOVE Madison Place and we LOVE our apartments!! ♥️ All in all, a great place to live. It’s a secret little hideaway off busy 280, with totally unexpected and very welcome charm. You definitely want to come see what all the buzz is about!

When I first moved in there were some issues with my apartment and I was not getting them resolved so I was unsure if I would like living here. However, Alisa one of the managers in the office reached out to me and resolved all of my issues. She is very helpful, patient and kind and cares about if your actually satisfied. I love the neighborhood, its very quiet and i like having the trash service that picks up at night. I would definitely recommend!

Josh and Kim are the BEST Property manager and agent I’ve ever had. They’re very personable and understanding. The maintenance are AMAZING and get things done within 24 hours of reporting being done. Everyone I have had contact with at Madison place is professional, friendly, super-responsive and always wanting to help. I have lived at Madison Place for over 3 years now! I love it here! I live close to a busy road but you cant tell it with the trees and the sound of the fountains! I live right by the lake & love it! The view of the new walking trail with lights around it reflecting off the lake at night is so beautiful! Josh & Kim are nice & very helpful & always have smiles on their face! If I have maintenance that needs done it gets done quickly! The pool area is always clean! The new fitness center is awesome! I love being able to put my trash right outside my door & it gets picked up! I know I will live here many years to come! I recommend living here to everybody!

I recently had the pleasure of touring these apartments. When I went to the leasing office I was greeted by with a huge smile and offered a bottle of water (that was a first for me) The staff is friendly, professional, and knew what they were talking about. The amenities were really cool, especially the walking path and the bridge that they have. Even the apartments that werent renovated looked really good, they were clean and not so old. I love the fitness center and how it overlooks the pool, its better than starting at a wall lol. The pool is absolutely stunning and I cant wait to relax by it! Last but not least is the location location really liked how the location is convenient to a lot. Overall this is the best property that I have seen and would recommend to anyone that is searching for some where to live in the Birmingham area. It is a nice safe area and I know I will love it here.

First let me say, I havent lived here long. I recently got divorced and had to find a place to live really quickly. So I didnt look at too many places, but I did look at almost all of the apartment complexes on 280 and Madison Place is definitely the most bang for your buck. It isnt the newest complex. It isnt the most visually pleasing either, but I enjoy living here. They have updated most of the apartments! Its a quiet neighborhood and its close to everything! Lee Branch is literally right behind the complex. Bellinis and Taco Mamma on 119 are within walking distance. Josh and the office staff have been so sweet and accommodating and any time anything has come up, they have always worked with me! Maintenance is great too, and usually answers any maintenance requests in less than 24 hours. I love that you can pay rent online! And the rewards program is pretty cool too. They just updated their gym and are working on updating the pool area too. Overall, I feel like this is a great complex. Give it a shot!

Ive lived here for a year now and have had very minimal problems, everything has been handled quickly by maintenance. The neighborhood is quiet. I can hear my neighbors on all sides but I drain it out pretty easily. Ill be signing a lease to stay another year. I have a beautiful view of the lake, the apartments are very nice on the inside, management is very friendly and helpful. Overall it has been a great place to live!

For now ill give it a 5 star. I have not moved in yet, but everything seem positive already and going in the right direction. Very clean apartment, great location.Would highly recommend Madison Place.

Ive had the most amazing & best move in experience that I have ever had here with Madison Place! April was so nice and worked with me to make sure that everything was precise and hat everything measured up to my expectations! Its been 3 weeks since move in and I absolutely love the community. Friendly neighbors, lake and walking trail and access to so many great shopping areas, grocery stores & food choices! Im so glad that I chose this place!!

I am very happy with our decision to move in to Madison Place 3 years ago. It is a great location, and management has been very responsive to the handful of maintenance requests we’ve submitted. Our 2 dogs love playing at the dog park and walking in the paved trail around the lake.

I recently toured these wonderful apartments and I have to say that I am beyond impressed. The grounds are breath taking, the apartments are spacious yet quaint and homey.

I enjoy living here at Madison Place. My leasing agent April was professional, nice and walked me through the application process and moving in. There were some minor issues when I moved in but maintenance came out fixed everything; even now when I have maintenance issue, they come out no delays. Quiet and well kept. So far so good!!!

The new gym is absolutely wonderful! Joshua has been great! Along with Kim, the newest addition to the staff has been really great as well. The point system is so cool,I am very happy and satisfied!

After living in multiple apartment communities in multiple neighborhoods in Birmingham, I have to say that we absolutely love living here. Compared to other communities in the area that rent for the same price (or more), this community is safer, cleaner, friendlier, and more close-knit. When you submit a maintenance request, it typically does not take more than 48 hours for it to be completed. Regal Waste (our valet trash service) is mostly predictable. All safety issues are taken seriously. You will NOT be woken up in the middle of the night with loud music, hear arguments, or deal with trashy people like you will in some other places. Let alone some of the crime and violence we have experienced in other communities. Also, the grounds (lake, walking trail, pool) are beautiful. In fact, if youre considering living here, see if there is a unit available facing the lake! We love sleeping to the sounds of the fountains.While Madison Place has only been under Dasmen for a short time, they have already made great improvements to the property. And while they are still working out a few kinks (dumpster issues, upgrading infrastructure with Spectrum, etc.), all is still running smoothly and the office staff is warm and friendly. When improvements are being made on the property, they are done by polite people who make every attempt to stay out of residents way and make as little noise as possible.My only real complaint would be the lack of parking in front of my building, as residents without handicap parking permits often park in the handicap spaces. This is frustrating, and on some days it is difficult, but it is the fault of the residents, and not the community or the management.Overall, my fiance and I are happy to call Madison Place home, and we are excited to live here for a very long time.

I have lived here for over a year. The cost is great, location is perfect but there is a lot of room for improvement on the maintenance side. It took 3 months to fix the mold I had in my apartment last year, and I have submitted the same maintenance request 3 times over a month with no fixes.The workout room reno is nice, but it would be a better place is my unit was livable.

It seems that the management is really trying to make apt life fun and doing what they can to fix things add they have funds

This is a great place to live!! The apartment is spacious. The service is amazing! Maintenance response quickly to issues. The complex is quite and the landscaping looks amazing!

I want to start by first saying Josh, Jeff, and Kim are great!! But the Property and Upper management is horrible!!! I used to love this place, it’s in a nice location, but then came the cracks in the foundation, Noisy neighbors, and Rodent infestation!! (Mice). They did attempt to try and fix the problem, but the whole place needs to be torn down and redone. Then when I finally moved out over 2 months ago, I still have yet to receive my security deposit refund!! I can never get in touch with anyone via email, messages or phone, no one ever answers at the actual property or upper management. I’m definitely a dissatisfied customer!!

I would just like to say that I have had a excellent experience with Madison Place! I was originally suppose to move on May 20th, but they had to change my move in date because I was placed in a new unit. Well the maintenance team did a excellent job getting my unit ready! I’m well satisfied!

So far so good!!!! The move in process was pleasant ! The management staff is very nice and accommodating . Needed minor fixes but the maintenance team was there to fix the problem asap! Its quiet and very family driven which I love!

I have lived in this complex for 2 years and I simply LOVE it. I havent had any major problems. Maintence has always been very helpful in cases that Ive had. Staff at this complex is very friendly, caring, and eager to help out. Moving to a big city from a beach town was a concern for me. Living at the Madison has made it a stress reliever, because it is a quiet area. I can take my dog right behind my apartment to the dog park. Neighbors are nice, and great amenties! Side Note: New Updated Apartments! I highly recommend this Apartment Complex.

Do not stay here!!!! My apartments leaks water all the time, has roaches, the apartment manager, Josh NEVER does what he says he’s going to do!!!! I can’t wait until August so i can get away from here. The apartments has cracked foundations as well. Please don’t move here!!!! And please don’t believe the 5 star ratings. They send out emails saying if you give a good ratings they will enter you in a giveaway. Shame on the ppl who’s scamming others.

This place used to be nice, but since the place got bought out, the new management has made this place unlivable. Do not waste your time or money on this place just because of its convenient location. You will surely regret it. Check out this dumpster with TONS of trash thrown around the base of it, due to it not being emptied for weeks! Sick.

Absolutely the worst place Ive EVER lived. All summer our apartment was 76-80 degrees with our thermostat set to 70, and NOTHING was done to fix it! We called multiple times per week asking for help, all to no avail. Our move in check sheet had 12 items on it, some of which have yet to be fixed 4 months later! Even under current AMP management, nothing has changed. Youd rather live ANYWHERE else along 280 than live here.

Cant wait to finally move out this fall. This place seems affordable, but you truly pay for what you get. Things are breaking every single month, and the age of the unit is really showing. Its as if everything old just got covered up instead of properly repaired. I will say that the maintenance staff is always very helpful and fast to fix any problems, but its just irritating that something else is broken almost every month. The pool area is very nice, but the fitness center definitely needs some new equipment. Besides that, the complex is quiet and seems safe. Id recommend looking elsewhere first..

I loved my time here. Wish I couldve stayed but I had to move for family reasons. Management has changed several times, however I usually have one contact person that I deal with. Either April or Josh. Maintenance requests are on top of it. You dont have to wait several days to get something fixed. The only drawback I had was that they kept setting off my alarm even when I gave them a code. I felt safe without my alarm (being on the second level) but I had it just in case (Simplisafe).The have terminex come out and spray every other month. They will send you a paper copy in your mailbox (not an email 🙄) a day before so make sure you check your mailbox frequently.I had good neighbors that left me alone and werent loud. PLUS. 👍🏾Parking is not an issue due to it being so many parking spots.They will send out emails if the water will be out on a certain day or if they are installing cable. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR EMAILS. They are on top of notifying you that way.As of lately, calling the office has been a problem because no one is ever there to answer. Make sure to press 4 if you ever have a problem getting someone on the phone. I found that it helps me.

I lived here for two years and I would not recommend living here. The office staff changes hours often so it’s almost impossible to reach anyone via telephone or in person. When you finally are able to reach someone and inform them of issues they ask “did you leave a voicemail?” There’s not even a VM set up. I submitted several maintenance requests throughout my time there and most were unanswered. My fridge went out and I called the emergency line to which the man told me that wasn’t considered an emergency and advised me to put my food in a cooler. They decided to include cable in rent so cable people came in and installed lines but made the biggest mess and did not clean up. They also left huge, white patches on the wall. No one ever came to repaint to match original color, even through I submitted a request. If it rains, your ceiling will leak and they will come out and take a picture. No one ever follows up. Valet trash is inconsistent and does not pick up all your trash, but the trash compactors were closed so anything they didn’t pick up, sat outside. You pay pet rent each month but they do not have pick up stations around the property ( or trash cans) so i guess they assume you will walk around with bags full of dog feces. This place really needs to be taken over by an outside agency with competent individuals. They also send out emails offering “dasmen” points for “positive” reviews. The reviews you see are from people who want those points but little do they realize, you won’t ever even see those points!

My daughter recently moved into Madison after a horrible experience with Arium. This place is a jewel compared to there. We can always discuss you get what you pay for but my daughter pays all she can as a single mom. Her apartment has recently been renovated and is very very nice. It is very quiet and the fountains at the lake are very peaceful. I do wish that the lights on one of them would get repaired. However right after moving in her AC unit went out and she called about it and they have been great about replacing it. Jerry, one of the maintenance guys has been so kind and helpful. My very young grandson thinks he is the stuff. He was very polite and kind and very understanding thst there was a baby that had to nap while he worked. I am very thankful that my daughter is in the hands of a good person to look after her maintenance needs. Thank you Jerry, and also thank you to Madison for helping her overcome such a bad experience at another complex. This is her first time on her own and it means the world to me to know that she and my grandson are being looked after. Happy to report that she has a brand new unit and its working great!
