I have never met such incompetent being in my life, total disregard for tenants needs at Barclay apartments in chevy chase MD. in the past two & half years at least the management has been changing every six month and it appears no one seem to know how to manage a few small buildings. from simple as collecting and depositing rent money on timely manor to scheduling maintenance, perhaps even more irritating the absence of communication skills is there for everyone to see. where they get this airhead idiots is beyond me.

I hate that google doesn’t just LET you delete a review so I’m going to rehash - despite the issues I’ve had since moving in I have to say that in the last couple of months the building management has really impressed me. There’s still a long way to go but the rental office and the maintenance staff are making it a lot easier to want to stay at Barclay.

The customer behaving of the Barclay apartments in Chavy chase drive are impolite, miss treating and unprofessional behaving but the environments and the location is very nice, and calm, the senior management needs to rethink about the managing team and the service operation teams- front desk people manager, officer, deputy

I have been welcomed to Barclays with towing of my car and my wifes car. After 5 days at this apartment, my wife car towed. i spoke to the tower and he said you dont have permit to park, and said some one from the apartment called me to tow the cars... waw honestly during my contract time no body from the apartment manager told me about the parking and they did not give any temporary and i paid 169 for each. i spoke to the recent manger, she ignored and refused to refund me.

Sorry, I have to have a review on my posted view!The new leasing management is just like a joke. No problems here and the problems I did have are being fixed Since the new manager started! I will be renewing my lease! Just hope the new people stay this time.

Terrible leasing management company. They are shady and have stolen money from me. Lost rent checks, extremely unprofessional and non responsive to maintenance calls . There’s a new leasing manager every couple months, nothing gets fixed, maintenance is completely incompetent...

I live in this community for almost a decade now. Ive never had any complain till this new management came to the business. Unfortunately the circumstances are getting worst. The new leasing office is suppose to be open from 10 AM till 6 PM during the business days but its actually not even open after 4 PM sometimes.The management doesnt have any kind of preparations for winter/snow, the junk remove or wast pick up service is terrible, the maintenance service is slow, parking management is NO MANAGEMENT,..... And the rental checks process takes at least 3 weeks sometimes a month.Things are going difficult ☹️ and doesnt let me stay here anymore.I will miss the community.By the way, I appreciate Ms. Brenda for trying to be very helpful.

New management is just a joke. Office hours now are 10am-6pm, but they open and close whenever the want but staff is never there. Stopped the office few times already just after 5pm - closed. Though try in the morning 10:30am, well closed!!!

New manager started this week and office closed. The maintenance man needs to be fired coming to my apartment drunk for an emergency on more than one occasion. I will not be renewing.

Worst management and service I have ever seen. My apartment had issues for more than 6 months and they never resolved and despite the worst situation whenever file complaint always get arrogant response that nothing in our hands. The apartment maintainance is in worst condition that no response for several weeks for critical issues.
