Kind staff easy access. I dont understand why so many places in Maryland insist on locking glass doors though. Rocks are even easier to find than lockpicks.

We’ve been here 9 months and love living here. This is the best managed apartment building I’ve ever lived in. I can’t say enough about the staff, they clearly know what they’re doing. The location and outdoor spaces are great. I’m not sure who loves this building more — my husband and I....or our dog who gets to play with his puppy friends every day in the dog park.

I have a very positive experience of living here. Despite its great location and other amenities, the Fairfield has finally got an excellent management team. We have lived here for almost four years and management team has been changed several times since then but the current team is the BEST one. The staff do their best to address any problem and even resolve the old issues inherited from the previous teams.

Ive lived here for 2 years now and just renewed my lease for a third year. Staff here are really friendly and very accommodating. The amenities offered are very nice and always available. I love the fact the Capital Crescent Trail is in our backyard. They are awesome for dog owners.

I’m writing this review not as a tenant, but as a father who just helped his son move into his new apartment. Before giving my thoughts on the move-in process, I should note that this is actually the second time my son has leased at 7001 Arlington. His first experience was wonderful, and his second experience is proving equally so. The management staff is warm and helpful, and the unit - just like the first - felt homey and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. I know my son will enjoy his time at this property just as much - if not more so - than he did the first time around.

Amazing Staff; the concierge and help desk along with the operations team are excellent. The Location is very good; however the building windows which I was told were sound proof are not. They are very poor and basic exterior sounds make its way through the window while you attempt to sleep. Do not take room on top floor below the equipment room; the cycling of the HVAC equipment is horrible. The management is abscent and not responsive to concerns; they prefer to ignore them vs. resolve. I do not think it is worth the cost. You should reconsider. Also, you should pay attention to the sales process. I was told after six months you can move units; they suggested I buy up to the two bedroom because it was the last one available, but I could always go back to one bedroom after 6 months. That is not the case, and 30 days after signing the lease I was told the policy just changed. once again i was told to speak to the manager (Michael) who has not responded or call back after phone calls and emails. Might be best to consider other locations in this area.

Aside from the beautiful apartments and exterior environment, the staff at 7001 Arlington really is a massive selling point to renting at this building. Full disclosure, after spending a weekend looking for apartments in the D.C. area my husband and I determined that our commutes to both of our jobs would just be too difficult from Bethesda and therefore we went with another apartment complex in the center of the city for sheer convenience. However, we were extremely sad about not being able to live at 7001 Arlington because we loves the apartments and the overall environment. This is not a complex that tries to sell you on cheap seemingly fancy amenities, but focuses more about the quality of your living experience and making you feel like you truly have a home at 7001 Arlington. We worked with Suzanne, who just like all the other staff we encountered was beyond pleasant to work with. I normally do not write reviews like this, but our experience was so positive that I felt compelled to acknowledge the time and effort of 7001 Arlington publicly. We are sad we wont have the opportunity to live in this complex, but wanted to encourage others to do so. Finally, if you have a dog, this is the place to go. It is a super friendly pooch environment, with a staff that wants to get to know your dog and holds dog-friendly events...and you cant beat that trail access!

It’s an absolute please to review the property and services at 7001 Arlington in Bethesda. My mother recently located to the area and I visited about a dozen properties in the DC area. By chance, I happened to drive by 7001 Arlington. I made and inquiry and shortly I was on a tour with the delightful Ms. Grant. She was personable and really listened to my questions. Less than an hour after my tour, I received an email detailing the tour with important details. I did not feel pressured and I felt fully informed. Once my mom decided to rent an apartment, Ms. Braxton, the property manager, expertly took care all of the details and immediately sent all of the important documents and even created a very easy move-in guide for utilities. Because this was an out of state move, we had several moving parts. Ms. Grant and Ms. Braxton were absolutely key in making sure things went smoothly for the move.Because of a delay with our movers, we were a day late moving in. Even with the mishap we were professionally greeted by Ms. Grant and Distephano. Their expertise made all the difference in the day. Distephano made sure the movers were directed to the reserved elevator and gave us instructions for disposal of moving boxes. My mother has settled into her new apartment. Her apartment is modern and lovely. She is an active person and decided to give up her car up with a move to a more urban area. 7001 is in a prime location, and she has no need for the expenses of a car. There are two large markets, banks, theaters, specialty shops, and restaurants to numerous to count. The area is waking distance to everything. The property is well maintained with beautiful amenities. The maintenance team does an amazing job to make sure that all needs in the units are quickly taken care of. There are work out room, community room, outdoor lounge areas, walking trails and private entrance to Bethesda Row.The leasing office is on site and everyone on staff is friendly, professional, and available. There is a concierge desk and both Distephano and Winifred provide excellent service to every resident. The building is safe secure and the lobby is beautifully furnished. My mother is thrilled to call 7001 Arlington her home.

I have a long list of concerns with this building, not sure where to start. For several years Fairfield could not hire anybody as property manager for this building because this has too too many problems, some structurally, some staff-wise.Before I list the problems, let me mention that I recently saw the staff walking the dog of the new property manager! Ok, this is abuse of our rent money!!!Second, I think I am puzzled by new property managers behavior. I was trying to find a timeslot for clubroom for our older sons bday, but the front desk just never showed us the calender. after some back and forth I was rudely told that the day/time is not available. Later, on the actual day, we checked the clubroom and found that nobody reserved it. Did the new manager lie on our face? Why, and for what? Our kids grand parents missed their grandsons birthday. What did the property manager achieve by hiding the clubroom calender and for lying to us? We are puzzled?!STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS1. Noise from neighbors because of poor materials2. Overflowing toilets3. Pollution from garages, on three sides of the building (under, left and right)4. Leaking windows5. Poor HVAC with dysfunctional thermostats6. Lowest quality washer cleaner7. Namesake gym8. Too many breakdowns (last month firefighters were called 6 times in two days)MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS1. No system at all2. No notification for packages (ok, Amazon bailed them with the hub system, but still for Macys Kohls etc and others no system. My dry cleaned business suits are sitting in their office for weeks, they never tell us)3. No cleaning of property (maybe once in two weeks)4. No cleaning of grill (all buildings clean grill daily, but this one will never it)5. Tons of bird poop on all outdoor chairs6. Millions of mosquitos in the courtyard (you can almost never sit there or in your courtyard facing balcony like ours)7. Dog poop is all over the building. Imagine you grill a steak and now flies from dog poop will be sitting on your food.8. No community. There are some events, but it has no value if I cannot connect with neighbors by sharing things online (e.g maid contacts). In other buildings residents are allowed to send message to all residents if they have free TV, sofa or other things to share. We had two parisian chairs and some game tickets that we wanted to share with neighbors, but there was no way to send a message.9. No system for clubroom reservation system. The new HIDDEN system which only property manager knows is kind of creepy. We are paying such high rent, why hide the calender from us?10. If your toilet leaks, staff comes in two days to fix it. I was told that maintenance staff is shared with other fairfield buildings.11. Very HIGH rent increases when you renew lease. Your rent could be increased by 10-20% at renewal (ask them in writing how your rent will be increased)12. They have notices all over the building threatening to fine you for different things (is this luxury building or college dorm?)13. Recently back gate was broken. For several weeks they did not fix it. Basically anybody could walk to the patio of residents like us who have a door opening to the courtyard14. No 60-day time for lease. All other luxury building give 60 days time to sign your lease. Not this place (because they do not want you to research about this place)15. Fireplace is always broken16. Outdoor TV has no channels, so do not get excited17. Courtyard is useless because you can never sit because of dog poop and mosquitoes, so do not excited about courtyard when you tour the building18, Only one public restroom for 500 ppl. Prop. manager has one dedicated private restroom. Nice for them. Other luxury buildings do not give private restroom to property manager. The only good thing about the staff is the gentleman name Di. I think building should promote him. He is respectful and is sincere in responding to residents needs.I like some new changes in the building, but still have some work to do. Will update to 5 star review if they fix these things.
