The mechanics at Holland Service are super nice and super honest. Ive taken my car there twice and now, and they have my complete trust. Chris the owner is very easy to deal with and straight-forward. Trevor worked on my car this time and he was able to complete the job in less time than the estimate and saved me some money! Cant promise that for you, but its nice to know there are mechanics out there that will charge you for the time they actually spent working. Highly recommend!!

Holland takes excellent car of my truck. The inspections are detailed and thorough. Chris is frank and honest about what needs to be done.

What could have been a very unpleasant experience was turned around in a few minutes when I randomly selected Holland Service to look at my F-150. The Check Engine light came on while I was on my way from Sonoma to San Diego. With the greeting and attention I received in the front office and the almost immediate diagnosis by the shop owner, Chris (nothing to stress about -- take care of it later), I was relieved and happy to be on my way. And not one cent lighter in my pocket.

I used to go here and had no problem, until recently. They broke a part for my tires and charged me for it. They then broke another thing, fixed it for free, come to find out it’s still broken. I am never going back here after the shady dealing, very disappointed because I used to be a fan!

Very professional and knowledgeable, the only downside is waiting for an appointment, but well worth it.........

Holland Service is top notch! They know their vehicles and are an ace dealing with 4wd issues. I have experienced nothing but professional service with them. Recently, I went in to get a check up on why my truck was making a squeaking sound. The earliest they could fit me in was a week out, but owner Chris, came out and gave my truck a 2 min look at the situation and quickly deduced that all I need was grease. He took care of it on the spot and didnt charge me a penny. For reference, I had recently taken my truck into the dealer, they kept it for over a week and test drove the truck several times and not once did a tech stop to notice the obvious loud squeaking sound and give a shot of grease that took Chris at Holland Service 5 mins!

Holland Service always gives honest and quality work. CHRIS goes above and beyond and answers basically anything you want to know about your cars service. Big shout out to him and the work these guys do. Pretty sure they work on just about anything foreign and domestic, but my photo shows a little bit of that SUBARU love feeling--thats why I keep coming back, thanks guys!

I have been going to Holland service since the early 1980s. They have always treated me Fair, always got me my car back as quick as possible, Ive never left there unhappy or unsatisfied. I just went in there today my service engine light was on. Chris checked it found nothing wrong,, reset it for me and when I asked them how much? That is the motto that I told Chris they should adopt .And Its how I actually feel about Holland service.Ive used them multiple times, dealing both with Jeff and Chris and they are both outstanding. (The woman who works in the office is also something incredibly special but I dont want to give her name out because then I would have more competition at winning her heart. Just imagine someone who should be named Lovely.)If youre looking for a permanent mechanic who really knows their stuff and sticks by their products and services, look no further.And just so you know this isnt a fake review I looked hard for any negatives and I find only one... They are very busy and you sometimes have to schedule appointments in advance, but doesnt that prove they are very well-liked and THE BEST mechanics for many in the area?Good things are worth the wait. The owner Chris is the only person I trust for advice and let under my hood. He is very knowledgeable and answers every question I have, no matter how major or minor. He helped me for about an hour try to figure out why my 2011 Dodge Caliber was leaking (luckily it was only the a hole in the coolant tank). I am very peculiar about my car tend to ask a lot of questions and he will explain to me the in and outs. Great service!

Such a great experience. Took my older Chevy truck in for a power steering tank failure and they fixed it in less than 24 hours. They told me what else needed to be repaired in the future , but didnt pressure me into doing it immediately. Honest, friendly. I will definitely go back to them for my repair needs in the future.

Holland Service is the only place I go to. Ive been going to Chris for years now with all my old beater cars (1999 ford explorer and now a 1994 chevy caprice classic) hand me down cars, and he always makes space to take me in even when theyre busy. I can not count how many times Ive called these guys after freaking out because something on my car breaks and they immediately just tell me to come by. This is not a regular auto shop, they do such honest work here! Never have I been pressured to spend a bunch of money fixing everything, they always focus on the immediate problems and are honest about what needs to be fixed in that moment and what you can get away with waiting on. I truly feel like they care about me and look out for their customers. Also they are all just very friendly, always remember people who come back, and do a great job getting your car back in shape in a timely order! I wish every shop was as special as Holland. As long as I live in the bay area Ill never go to another mechanic. Thanks Chris!!!! Youre the best!

The people here are wonderful.

I paid them to fix my car, as I drove it off the lot, it had the same problem I brought it to them to repair. It failed a smog inspection (which they cant do) costing me $50, when I brought it back to them to fix the problem, they said it would cost $100 just to tell me what the problem was. They said, despite it happening to me 3 of 4 times I drove it after they completed the work, that the problem was intermittent and they werent able to recreate it, despite it happening afterwards when I drove it with the Tech as well. These people are incompetent, their customer service is horrible, and theyre incapable of picking up their phone on a Saturday yet claiming to be there for car pickups. Dont waste your time and money.

Excellent service w/ 1 of the mechanics Chris. My 94 Acura Integra had a minor problem & Chris was kind & generous to help me for 2hrs to get the problem fixed.

Ive been taking my various vehicles to Hollands for -- get this -- fifty years! No kidding. I would not -- absolutely would not -- take my vehicles to anybody else. Hollands will fix your car or truck as well as anywhere; not necessarily better, after all, fixed is fixed. And remember, some of these things are tricky! Jeff Holland himself finally figured out what was going on with my 92 Dodge Caravan , where it would not start -- of all things, it was the fuel pump! It was like, the factory didnt even know about that. Yeah, right --- they had a whole kit they would sell you to FIX it, but they denied that it was a problem! You need a darn good technician to figure out stuff like that! And if you have a hotrod or kustom kar of any kind, this is the ONLY shop to go to. Okay, nuff said. Reasonably priced, too; not cheap, just they will not --- absolutely NOT -- rip you off in any way. I have an electric car, too, now and nothing goes wrong with it, but if it did, you know where I would take it for ... service, I guess. HOllands Service.
