I’ve taken American and foreign cars for everything from tire rotations and balance, oil changes, tune ups, dash control issues with the heat and AC, to everything in between. He always gives an estimate and stands behind his work. We’ve been taking our vehicles to him for about 13 years. Not one problem, ever. He’s more than fair in price and straight forward.

Dishonest thief. In 2014 my transfer case with 40k miles of useage needed replaced on my Jeep Wrangler bought off the lot with 24 miles on it. Prior to this event, Mr Norton had exclusive access to my 2011 Jeep Wrangler as I trusted all repairs to him, parked it daily inside my garage, and when I drove it to work it was parked at a high visibility workplace with high security. All said, my customer loyalty made it so only Mr Norton could have stolen my transfer case.I observed the broken transfer case as it was removed, I looked into the serial number and manufacturer of the non-Jeep Wrangler transfer case, and I retain the part if ever there is interest in a class action lawsuit against this thief.Mr Norton is extremely personable and likeable, but it is all an act and you will be taken advantage of sooner or later. In my case it happened after taking all my vehicles to him for repairs and modifications, solely him, for seven years.

Horrible horrible experience! As others have stated, a thief! Didnt put the parts on that we paid for, refused to give us the parts back, wont refund the money for the parts. Had the truck for 50 DAYS for a tune up, a brush guard installed, and suspension adjusted and was never done. Always has a song and dance and likes to play the blame game. Wrong parts ordered, wrong parts sent or defective parts arrived. Truck now REEKS of cigarette smoke, nothing was installed, and we are out $1,222. This will end up in court but apparently he is used to that when you read other online reviews. Do not waste your time here.

Thief. I brought my new Jeep to this for simple repairs and in addition to the requested work, he illegally replaced my factory transfer case with another on its last legs. I am seeking legal action. Save time and avoid this thief.

Mr Norton has always taken care of my vehicles for over 30 years now. He is always fair when it comes to pricing and has my vehicles out when promised or sooner.

Mr. Norton suggest that I did not honor the agreement to remove social media post in return for the refund for parts I paid in full, but ultimately he did not install. Mr. Norton likely considers my post to Google as social media; however, Google is not considered social media, where as Google+ is deemed social media. There was also no requirement to not post to social media at a later date. A quick search for the top 100 social media sites does not list Google. Google’s own website search returns explicitly says Google itself is not social media. I did exactly as Mr. Norton stipulated to receive the refund. He wanted me to sign away my legal right to bring a future claim if needed. That is a good indicator that the refund was not done out of good faith. He likely decided to offer the refund because a local reporter was going to run a story on his business, and interview those who complained. I was to give an interview which would have also detailed the pending civil action I was to bring that same week; he capitulated. Again, his rebuttal lacks substance. What difference would it make if someone was destitute or not? A refund was due. I told Mr. Norton on August the 30th to either get the parts or prepare the refund, so for him to claim that my wife initiated the refund is again factually incorrect. Phone records easily confirm that she and Mr. Norton spoke well after I gave the ultimatum to provide the parts or a refund. Claiming that I drove the truck on two separate occasions is also factually incorrect. 8 plus weeks he had my truck, there is no excuse for not completing the work. I said I needed the truck back September 1st. He failed to deliver, then failed to deliver it on the 4th after promising to have it ready. I followed the exact letter of what Mr. Norton required for the refund. I had a better understanding of it than him, and he drafted it. I knew right away what that agreement did and did not cover.If I am wrong, he would have taken me to court. The simple defense for liable is the truth, and Texas has “SLAP” laws which protect those who leave reviews from being harassed in civil court. Between Yelp, Google, and Facebook, Norton Automotive LLC has negative reviews. What is different about my complaint is that I dug a bit deeper than most and queried for documents on file with the State of Texas when I prepared my civil suit. I wanted to know if he could legally conduct business. There are anomalies which are material to a civil case, but not required for a Google review. It is a review supported by facts I can prove, not an argument which is better suited to be heard by a judge and jury.Refute what you want Mr. Norton, you complain that I did not post what we signed, that is because we crossed out the part where you wanted me to forsake any future claim against you. I decided to let everyone see the full extend of what you demanded. My assertion is that you attached last minute conditions for me to get the refund.Whatever rebuttal Mr. Norton offers at this point, it is a document he drafted. What I have posted to Google and Google Maps is readily supported with witnesses and documentation. Mr. Norton, please post any social media that I failed to remove and supports your claim that I failed to abide by the agreement. I encourage you to post anything that unequivocally and materially disputes my review.
