Diagnostic, vehicle stuck in reverse. I was expecting a huge repair bill when I had my Land Rover Discovery toed to Harmony Motorworks. Their mechanic diagnosed the problem and fixed it for $300, a far cry from the $3k I was expecting. Ive been taking my vehicle to Harmony Motorworks for eight years now. They have provided me with superb service. Professional, honest and trustworthy. If I could give them more than five stars, I would. What more can I say. They are top notch.

Have used Harmony Motorworks for both warranty repair on my BMW435i convertible and again for normal maintenance. They only do the necessary work indicated for servicing and are both efficient and a great team to rely upon for looking after your high performance vehicle.

I’ve taken my cars to Harmony for all major jobs and purchase inspections since 2018. Recently I purchased a new (to me) ‘01 Subaru Outback without inspection after finding myself in a transportation pinch with moving back to Whatcom County from abroad. My oil change guy noticed a minor leak and I took it to Harmony for a full inspection. Not only did the technician find and fix the leak but also a hack job done on the timing belt by a previous owner, which also had oil on it. It took them over a week to get to the bottom of the issue caused by the previous “mechanic” while managing other jobs, but throughout the process they were so kind to me, even leasing me the shop car so I could get to work until they could get mine back on the road. These guys never cut corners and are always honest. Keith, the Subaru technician, is one of the best in the business. Thank you Mark, Peter & Keith, for all your good work!

They have consistently checked in with me before moving forward with repairs and kept me in the loop the entire time. I recently brought in my car for an inspection before a long road trip and they were quick and only fixed things that were absolutely necessary (which was easier for my wallet to handle). After a few years without a vehicle in my fleet that Harmony specialize in I’m back in the fold with my 2018 Sprinter. The shop’s new overheight door accommodates our tall 10’ conversion easily. Simply put, if you own a vehicle that Harmony will service don’t go anywhere else. I put 410K miles on a 2000 GTI and the Harmony team got us down every mile. Best of the best and it’s not even close.

The great thing about Harmony is that you can always have a real conversation with them about whats going on with the car. They never tell me to get something done without making sure I understand why and they have talked me out of doing unnecessary work, also explaining why.

The staff at Harmony provide great personalized service. Recently our car was vandalized and the catalytic converter was stolen. Mark and Peter spent a great deal of time challenging our insurance company to pay for quality parts to get the car repaired back to it’s original condition. I have used their services for over 20 years with a variety of cars, and have always found them thorough and transparent with their assessments, and able to provide quality workmanship.

Harmony Motorworks saved my bacon! My Volvos ignition switch went bad and they got it fixed right away, same day, no hassle. The staff is super friendly and the Volvo mechanic who worked on my car was the smartest and most attractive of the bunch. Harmony had all the specialized tools to replace the switch and download the factory immobilizer software needed to activate the new part. This was especially helpful since the nearest Volvo dealership is 80 miles away! In addition to great service, they charged a very fair price given the expertise and equipment needed to perform the work.

This is the best place to have a Saab serviced in Bellingham, and if I did not have a Saab, I would still choose Harmony. The staff are friendly and have great communication skills. And they have amazing options for drop off, pick up, and payment post-pandemic.

Harmony replaced the clutch in my 05 Jetta TDI. It performs smoothly and flawlessly and I am happy.

I just had my 2007 Subaru in to Harmony Motors for its 90,000 mile tune-up. They are fantastic. They kept my 1986 BMW running for 21 years and it was still going strong when I traded it in for the Subaru. They are extremely honest, reliable, friendly and never fail to do a great job. I would recommend them anytime. And have! They are like family!!!

You know when the dentist complements you on your good oral hygiene? Harmony complemented me on how my regular service of my 17 year-old Saab results in a spotless engine compartment and even included a photo with the invoice to demonstrate!

Our first experience with having work done at this well-known, locally owned, environmentally conscious Auto Shop. Didnt disappoint! Took our car in to have console light replaced and an oil change. They have a well-thought out, socially distanced protocol in place and were quick and efficient, thanks in part to Peter (a great listener) and great technicians! Even the bill was less than expected. We will be taking our Scion here again for future repairs.

Harmony has been our family mechanics for 15+ years. the most recent service is typical of our experience: dropped off VW for an oil change and dx of check engine light. Car ready same day with oil changed and very practical thoughts on causes for the check engine light. Perhaps more important than the excellent technical skills Harmony has consistently provided, we have always appreciated their honesty; every service provided has always had a very clear cause.

Developed a leak of clear fluid from an unknown origin and Mark immediately let me know it was the power steering rack and possibly the pump as well (an Audi Achilles heel). Fixed two days earlier than expected and $1000 less. Always please with Mark and his team...knowledgeable, efficient, fair...can’t go wrong

If you own a BMW, I highly recommend this shop for repairs and maintenance. I’ve been bringing my car here since I bought it in December 2020 and had some repairs done due to wear and tear/age of the vehicle (2007 335i). Apart from the occasional odd noise, my car runs beautifully after all the hard work these guys put in to fix it. They have the experience, skills and a really nice shop fix cars in. It’s definitely worth the cost. I don’t trust very many people with my cars but these guys are alright. I haven’t had any issues with damage or break ins when I need to leave my car overnight. Customer service over the phone and in person is always pleasant and professional. Overall this shop is fantastic.

I’ve use them for BMW and Audi repairs and they are straight shooters that do quality work and are personable, thorough and trustworthy. A very good independent shop that I’m very happy to have found.
