Went to Trottners several times for repairs and most of the time they didnt fix the issues. Had to return my car for air conditioning service twice as well as several times for an exhaust leak. finnaly had enough when i took my partners truck to get the e brake fixed and they didnt put the drum brakes on correctly. now i have two trucks that never got fixed after several thousand dollars. take your vehicles somewhere else they dont take their time with yours. they rely on their warranty more than on their service.

Our 07 Hyundai broke down on the side of I5 at 1pm on a Friday (FANTASTIC timing). We are from the other side of the mountain and needed to get home. Trottners was one of the few mechanics who would even see us same day. We arrived via tow truck at 2:30pm and were back on the road by 4pm. Our mechanic took the time to show us what was wrong, the owner was friendly and chatted with us, and his daughter communicated with us in a timely manner. They also have a great shop dog, Stetson, who let me give him all the cuddles. Give this shop a 10/10, so professionalism, good work, and being simply all around good people. The world needs more of people like them!

My car battery was dead beyond any assistance. Rather than paying to tow my car to a shop, I did a quick web search for a mobile repair service and turned up Trottners. They were able to swing by my apartment complex that same afternoon, and had my car running on a new battery with 5-year warranty in less than 30 minutes. They even topped off the oil in my old, creaky car! This was my first encounter with Trottners, and I was impressed with their service. Ill be visiting their shop soon for a tune-up.

Today I went to Trottners Auto Repair today have a wire fixed. I am totally dependent on my vehicle and they stepped up to the plate in a friendly, customer service way and took care of this while I waited. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone (especially other women) who need a shop that will treat them fairly and not make one small issue into an hours long process. The people working there are very professional and will not try to upsell you like most other mechanics will. They will actually tell you the problem and what they have to do to fix it, they are very honest.

Trottner’s took great care of us! I’m on a road trip with a van full of kids. When I heard a grinding noise while breaking I knew I had to stop for a few days and find a mechanic. We chose Trottner’s based on proximity and reviews and I’m glad we did. My van needed quite a bit of work but they explained everything in detail. It was going to take a couple days to get it all done so I extended our Airbnb and I walked up to get a few things out of the van. The gentlemen in the garage were so helpful. They showed me the problems that needed to be addressed and I was able to get what I needed and they offered me a ride back to my rental. The next afternoon I was pleasantly surprised to find out they finished more than a full day early, fixed everything that was needed, and came in under budget. These men take pride in their work. Their kindness and consideration as well as my smoothly running vehicle make me confident that I chose the right place for my vehicle.

I found that I was a Quoted 240 it went to 300 and final bill was $400 I don’t know why I paid so much more than the original quote

Trottners is an honest, fast, reliable, place to get your car serviced. They could work on theyre customer service skills, but if you will to deal with a couple angry old guys, youll get great service at a reasonable price.

You cant beat a place that has dogs in the office, but besides that you can depend on Trottners for honest, high-quality service and thats just the truth. Theyve worked on my car before and I was very satisfied, but they really went the extra mile when I went in the other day to have my brake pads inspected and replaced. They were able to tell me right away, without pulling things apart, that my brakes were fine and since it was such a simple observation, they did not charge me for the usual inspection. I thought the inspection fee was perfectly fair, so they didnt *have* to do that, but it was very understanding of them. That speaks wonders for their integrity in my book, so all of my future auto repairs will certainly be at Trottners. I commend your good business, sirs! Thank you for your help.

Brought my truck in for a replacement water pump witch just gave up right before a trip to California the guys at the shop were awesome fixed the issue while I was in California calling me with all the updates to parts and what was going on. They did an awesome job and I will be taking my truck here from now on.Also they have a very nice waiting room very comfortable and the shop dog is super friendly and sat with me in the waiting room!

2000 Ranger that needed upper O2 sensor replaced as I couldnt break it loose myself. They broke a coolant pipe while trying to fix and charged me for it, but didnt tell me until I went to pay the bill. I maintain my vehicles, and my Ranger doesnt have a single leak anywhere, but I noticed the coolant was leaking at the bottom radiator hose after I left. Fixed it myself as I didnt trust going back, will never let them work on another vehicle of mine.

I took my Toyota Mini Cruiser RV there to have a leaky gas tank hose replaced, and other minor repairs. I appreciate their honesty and fair price. And, both the shop dogs were lovely! Will be going there again.

I was visiting my son at Western for the weekend when my car stopped in the middle of a intersection at 3:00 p.m. on a Friday. Trottners came out to the sight, got my car to the shop. I was driving through town on my way to Canada when my alternator decided it wanted to go out. By pure luck I found Trottners Auto Repair. They literally had me in and out in an hour with a new alternator and a very reasonable price. They saved my trip. Be sure to put them on your short list of mechanics when you need one.

Over the years we have had three repairs at Trottners. The first repair was on a motor home. The owner went on a ride in the motor home with my husband so he could hear the noise/problem. Fabulous, quality, honest service. They know what they are doing.The 2nd and 3rd repairs were on an older van, again surperb service.Each of the three repairs were repaired in a timely manner, at the price of the estimate. We were quite pleased. As you may know with any older item in for repair, once you get things apart you may see other worn parts. We lucked out and this did not occur. I trust this auto repair shop and would recommend it to family and friends, etc.

Our campervan was running rough as nuts. These guys sorted out the brakes, bearings, and a tune up. Now shes running sweet!

I switched to Trottners from a previous mechanic that I felt really took advantage of. I brought my car in on numerous occasions with the same problems occurring, was shoveling money out to fix the problems and trusting the mechanic to fix it. When the same problems kept reoccurring I switched to Trottners but was told all mechanics are that way... After bringing my car in to Trottners for the first time it was a great experience. I have an 18 month old and live in Sedro Woolley so when I drop my car off I have to wait there. They were so accommodating to me and my daughter being there for 3.5 hours. They were unsure at first what exactly was causing the issue and fixed what they thought the problem was. A week later the same issue started. I was told to bring the car in. I was horrified after going to a mechanic 7 times in less then 3 months and paying every time that I would be charged again. Trottners got me in before Labor day weekend on Friday and fixed the issue in an hour and sent me on my way. I really cant thank them enough. I will be a lifelong customer. This is how the industry should be. Im so thankful I was referred to them.

Im not sure of what to think about this place. I took my wifes car there because it was not running. Conns they were able to get us in when the other shops were unable. The car started after having it towed there. The only thing they could find/recommend was an oil change and spark plugs. I ask how much it would cost. They wanted $460 dallors to change oil and replace the spark plugs. I took it home and did the work my self. After doing the work and running the car. The same issue resurfaced. I imagine it is an intermittent problem. This time i took it to a diffrent shop. Overall I think maybe for older car this is a good shop.
