Made an appointment early this week for an oil change. Dropped the car off before 8am, and it was done before 10. Best mechanic in town! Highly recommended.

They do their job and prices are fair. We dont ever feel like they are suggesting fixes to increase the fee. In fact, theyve made suggestions that are more than fair and keep our costs down.

Wayne always takes such good care of me whenever I am in need parts. Hes always extremely accommodating. With local businesses closing their doors as corporate business has spread across our beautiful city, downtown is one of the last bastions of hope for local business owners. Utilizing the services of Unlimited provide for me a way I can continue to support our local economy.

Called them to see if they would install new parts (shock absorbers) I had sourced myself but I guess they like to make their money on a mark-up of parts as well as their labour rates. They wouldnt install the shocks! Caution if youre getting parts from this business. Ill probably just go to a few shops in Seattle that said they had no problem doing this.

Generic Pre Sale Inspection; when it comes to Subarus the only mechanic here doesnt know the difference between seepage and wipe-off. If youre about to get a Subaru serviced here, dont worry, the mechanics will conflate the condition of your car with the appearance of anything shiny. I wouldnt bring a plastic toy bicycle here for service, they just might dose it with a symptom of no compression. Avoid at all costs if you want proper inspection and examination of a Subaru.

My family and I have trusted our cars to Todd and crew at Unlimited Service for over 20 years and I cant imagine going anywhere else. Its comforting knowing that if I have any issue at all that Unlimited Service will be able to figure it out and fix it at a reasonable cost. I have to ask google or my friends for a recommendation when I need a plumber or electrician, but not for car stuff. In fact, it makes me very happy to recommend Unlimited Service when people ask me. It feels like Im giving them a gift of honest, skillful, automotive expertise for the rest of their life!

These are the most amazing people. I actually drove all the way from Portland to have them work on my car. I do not trust anyone else. They even came under the quoted price which is so awesome, and almost unheard of.. They are the most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with in my 64 yrs on this earth. Thank you Ultimate.

They did a good job putting a transmission and radiator into my car. Due to unforseen issues it took a bit longer than expected but their service advisor Mike did a great job keeping me informed of the situation on a regular basis. Overall they charged a fair rate, did a good job and were honest throughout the entire ordeal.Thank you!

Friendly. Honest. Keep my old cars running. Recommend maintenance that will be coming up so I can save up for it. Explain work needed/done in a way I can understand. They do a bumper to bumper prepurchase inspection and give me a sheet and go over it all with me. It gives me peace of mind knowing i can turn to them. They have a key drop.

Nice folks I suppose, but not happy on the quality of service. Took my Subaru in this summer because the clutch had been giving me troubles/making weird noises. 200 some dollars later, they tell me its fine and send me on my way. Month later my clutch went out. Wish I could have taken it somewhere else to be properly diagnosed and actually fixed so Im not stuck on the side of the road.Had taken another vehicle in before, too expensive to get **just** a diagnosis from them. Will not be returning.

I have been going to Unlimited Services Downtown for years now and cant say enough about the friendly service and cost of service. Todd is amazing, if your hybrid vehicle needs work, Unlimited Service is your place. He knows what he is doing and does a fantastic job. He always goes the extra mile to help us as needed. I moved out of the state and wasnt sure how I was going to find another hybrid qualified mechanic. But, once again Todd came through and referred me to someone in my new location. I still go to Unlimited as needed when I am in Bellingham and look forward to the great friendly service I always receive.

I went here a few times because it was so close to my house it was easy to get to with car trouble. BUT! The first thing they fixed for me they quoted me about $200 which seemed about right. Then they charged me over $400. THEN my brakes were squeaking and they quoted me over $400 again, saying my pads and roters were shot. My dad has worked on cars his entire life, and seeing he lives in a different part of WA he couldnt help me with this. He said to tell them I wasnt interested because he could just do it for cheaper. Unlimited Service gave me a big lecture about how unsafe it would be and how they couldnt be liable. Fine. I had them change my brake pads because I was told that was part of the problem- $230. Then when I went home and had my dad look at my roters and he said they werent ruined at all like Unlimited Service had said. Im not sure the motivation of this, I am a young woman and they clearly tried to take advantage of me not knowing about cars. I would get a second opinion from literally anywhere else if you get a ridiculous quote here.

I had an appointment, made far in advance, for 9 am on a Tuesday. They never did begin to LOOK at my car by 1 oclock. Thats not right. So I left with my business and I wont go back

They really understand hybrid cars. Everywhere else wanted to change my battery pack for $5000+ and they changed and reconditioned them for under $1000

Recent car break down for me resulted in a towing to Unlimited Service for help. Pat set me up with a loaner car, found parts to fix my car and Vernon replace the shifter cable to get me going again. Because of a surgery for me (while my car was in the shop), I wasnt able to drive so again, Pat arranged with other staff to drop my car off at my home and pick up the loaner car. They helped me through a bad time of it and I am so grateful.

I did a pre buy inspection here and only found out after they did it that a battery test (main drive battery on prius) is not included in the cost. The company went ahead and did a test later in the week after I brought it to their attention at no extra cost. Great customer service but make sure you check if they can test the drive battery before you take a car here for a pre buy inspection. They did catch another issue that helped me to negotiate a fair price with the seller though so the inspection paid for itself.

If you have a hybrid this place will save you money. They fix hybrid batteries. Replacing the battery was going to cost more than the value of my car, but they did their magic, and my car works great again.
