Ive waited until Ive had a couple of repairs/maintenances done with Richard before I leave a review on google as I want to be fair and responsible for people looking at the reviews. At this point, Richard has fully earned my trust, which, with all due respect to other mechanics, is hard to find. Richard is professional, knowledgeable and reliable. He never tried to oversell me. Rather, he once cut my repair cost by half compared with what the dealership was trying to charge me by pinpointing the problem and fixing it, rather than simply toss and replace the entire system suggested by the dealership. In another repair service, he cleaned up my wheel covered by spilled out fluids from leaked parts without charging me a fortune for it. Richard also offered flexibilities for me during the time of the repair. I would highly recommend him when it comes to auto repair and maintenance.

Fortunately most consumers dont have to deal with a lawyer often, but we have to use mechanics to service our cars. So it is very important to me to find a mechanic that I can fully trust. Richard is such a mechanic. For big jobs or small, he gives me honest diagnosis, his charges for parts and labor are reasonable, and the quality of his repair is superior. As valuable as his quality repair services, every time I bring my cart for services, Richard also gives me a thorough assessment of my cars condition, and brings to my attention to possible upcoming repair needs. Beyond quality and reliable repairs, a couple of perks are also worth mentioning: Richard typically gives me free loaner if there is a need, and he always gives me timely appointments. In conclusion, Richard is the trusted mechanic that I look for and rely on.

I was very disappointed by the professionalism of Richard. I brought my truck into Richards shop because hes local, I asked him if he could plug his computer scanner in and look at the misfire data. I had explained what the symptoms are and what I had done for repairs with no luck. He did not want to bring his scan tool out, he proceeded to tell me that I should replace the MAF sensor wire and splice in a new one. He also told me that bad gasoline would not cause the engine to run rough or misfire. A Ford tech recommended by a friend then inspected the truck and found two injectors stuck open. Perhaps this was an isolated experience but you cant diagnose a vehicle without hands on inspection and a computer.

I live in Colorado and was looking for a used Lexus GX 460. I found what seemed to be too good to be true, the exact vehicle I was looking for in what appeared to be excellent condition with low miles. Additionally, it was $5,000 - $10,000 less than comparable models in my area. However, the vehicle was 2,000 miles away, in Bedford, Massachusetts. After doing my research and speaking with Richard, I decided to go with my gut. I put a deposit on the vehicle sight unseen and flew to Boston to inspect and hopefully purchase the vehicle. My instincts were correct, the vehicle was in immaculate condition, drove wonderfully and was an excellent deal. As we spoke, Richard mentioned that the vehicle also had remote start, Weather Tech mats and had mostly been drive on the highway - none of these extras were mentioned in the description and were worth well over $1,000. Richard is one of the most honest, pleasant, caring, fair (more than fair really), transparent people I have every met. I not only left with the perfect vehicle at an excellent price, I met a good man, one that I will keep in touch with for years to come. I promised Richard I would send him pictures as I transformed the GX into an off-road adventure machine. For those of you reading this I say, bring your vehicles to Richard for all you service needs and if you need a used vehicle, call him.

I used Richards Auto Services twice, once for oil change and once for a complete brake services. Richard examined the brakes, explained patiently the problems, and offered his recommendation. The work was done on time, with a good competitive price. I have no problems with the brakes afterwards. I would highly recommend his service.
