Don’t go to this place, worst customer service! I got my nails done here within 4 days they came off, the owner/ manager didn’t want to do anything about it.

They were all very nice. I had a pedicure along with other friends. We all got done about the same time. Everyone seemed happy with their nails. I was even able to get a manicure appointment for the same week My sons wedding is this week. So making an appt. so soon was great! The owner is very nice too.

Hands down the best nail salon in town (no pun intended). Pedicures are not rushed and the nail techs really take their time to make sure you get your money’s worth. I always recommend Galaxy to my friends and family, I’m a customer for life!

Im gonna throw a strong 4 stars. Mainly because I dont have a bunch of comparisons. Im a dude. I get a back waxing occasionally. Sometimes its ok to be fuzzy, sometimes you dont want it. All I know is that they are thorough. Pretty friendly too as they are ripping the hairs outta your skin. I wish they would whip my hiney with a cat o nine tails while they were at it. Make me lay there biting an apple or something. But thats my own issue. Good price, great job. Try them out.

My sister and I called and made an appointment for 6:00 after 10-15 minutes PAST then we were finally acknowledged and were sat in two chairs but nobody came back over until 6:30. The woman I had was nice but cut my toe nails VERY short! After seeing MANY people leave and then come back to pay we asked about payment and they informed us they only took cash (which isn’t stated anywhere) but they had an ATM, once we finally were done we went to grab cash out and they let us know they were out of cash in the ATM so we would have to go to the bank and grab cash. This wouldn’t have been a big deal if it was ever communicated.While being there we noticed way too many people in there, nail techs having to deal with 2-3 people at a time and no type of sanitization was done between clients which was alarming to us given the pandemic.We will absolutely NOT be coming back.

First time being there, not a good experience at all . While I was getting my nails done one of the workers were telling me to relax my hand, ( which I could barely understand ) and when I couldn’t understand she slapped my hand and I asked why she slapped me hand and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. Also There was absolutely no sign about cash only which was a shock to me because I was not told about that before starting my nails . Never coming here again .

Galaxy Nails is the best! We come here about once a month. Summer and Sandy are our usual girls and they are so nice and friendly! The number 2 pedicure is so affordable and so relaxing! Making an appointment is suggested also it is a cash only place.

Pleasantly surprised at this friendly salon! I got a shellac mani and pedi. Prices are right on par but everyone is friendly and clean. They only accept cash so come prepared! They do have an ATM that’s only fifty cents if you need to get cash.

Went there for first time on friday and I was shocked to see no greeting, no 6 ft apart and no capacity. Biggest thing was finally when one of the nail technicians sat me she cut me first 5 mins. I asked for a certain look and failed to communicate that to the other nail tech I was passed too I ended up with a diffrent look.

First timer. But this was amazing. Highly recommend. Service was above and beyond. True professionals. Incredibly relaxing and zero mistakes. Cant wait to go back.

Today was my first time here. Jasmine did my nails and she did a very good job! She seems honest about her prices for the work she is doing unlike other nail salons I have been too! Seems cleaner than most salons as well. Only downside is cash only but whatever.

Great deluxe pedicure, definitely worth the 35$ for over an hour of pampering. Tony is rough around the edges but hes really cool and hes super funny! Great experience, will be going back.

Im still sitting in the chair right now and this place is amazing! We came in for shellac pedicures and they gave us the whole mine yards! Free drinks, foot scrub, beautiful toes, and even a paraffin dip!! HIGHLY recommend this place. Google maps took us to the middle of Fred Meyers but its across the parking lot by moonstruck chocolate! Thanks again!!

I love this salon, they are always so friendly and nice, take their time with your service so it doesnt feel rushed, and great quality work! My shellac nails last me a month without chipping or catching on my hair even though it grows out. Jasmine is my favorite! But they all do good nails!

What can I say? I got my nails done and they looked great. We were able to make an appointment ahead of time and they had about a million colors to choose from. Easy parking in the parking lot and pricing seemed about average. I rarely get my nails done but I was happy with my experience here.

Jasmine is seriously amazing!! She did exactly what I wanted and we had a fantastic time talking about our boyfriends and her and I have similar tastes in men and we’re in similar situations! Had a great time with her and will definitely go back.

Complimentary wine/tea/water a full menu of options for pedicures ALL of which are a fair price. Trendy AND traditional colors. They never scrimp on service.Ive had 5 or 6 pedicures from a couple different ladies and they are reliably good. The salon is clean and while the wine comes from a box I still LOVE that they offer it up.Galaxy Nail lacks a bathroom, you have to go to the public next door.

I have been going to Jasmine for about a year now. I recently just moved an hour away and still drive to go see her monthly for a fresh set of nails and she never disappoints!

At first I wasnt sure if I would like this place but I seen that my nails grow faster and dont break easy. This is the only place I go to now. Very good its worth the wait.

Have gone multiple times because they have good prices but it came to the point that dealing with the horrible customer service was not worth better prices. Whenever I do my acrylics I wait for at least half an hour (when I make an appointment), they spend the whole time on the phone making appointments because they don’t have a receptionist, they get mad at me because I don’t hold my hands the right way, try to charge me extra because I ask them to file the nails a little bit more, and I end up leaving with my fingers bleeding. I leave the appointment 10 times more stressed out than when I walk in.

The man with tattoos cut me and said it was my fault. Also said I was too tense.. maybe if you didn’t cut me I’d be more relaxed. Also the nails are very crooked. Doesn’t seem like he enjoys working there.

The place is nice and classy. The works are fun to talk to. The service is the best. I never left with something I didnt like on my nails.

Love this place! I have never been one to consistently get my nails done, but since I went here with my friend for the first time over a year ago I have gone almost every month since! The staff is always friendly and I can relax while I am there. I do recommend scheduling an appointment for any service because they are a very busy salon. I dont go anywhere else now that I have discovered them, plus I have converted some of my friends to Galaxy Nails, and they too are now regulars!

Ive been coming here for 7 years now. I have tried other nail salons that are closer to my house, out of convenience several times, but the quality doesnt compare to my gel acrylic manicures I have had done here. Their method of applying the gel polish to my acrylics is high quality because my nails are stronger, and last longer when I get them done at Galaxy. I have even had a manicure last 4 weeks here, where at other places, they either break after 10 days or the color chips. Its always busy here, so sometimes you have to wait (even with an appointment), but the quality is worth it. Also one thing Id like to recognize here is that the owner is a successful, hard working single mom who has grown this business exponentially since she has taken it over. She is not always sunshine and rainbows, but she is genuine and treats me like family and I only know her through being her client for 8 years. There is a reason this place is always busy. My mom goes here all the time to get her nails done--often enough that all the staff know her by name. However, we recently had a very bad experience with Tony when he refused to honor gift certificate credit she had. I quietly waited at the front counter to try and discuss this issue with Tony (the guy with the tear drop tattoo near his eye) but he insisted I discuss it with him while he continued doing a clients nails, across the salon. He proceeded to be extremely rude during the interaction, raising his voice at me and interrupting as I politely asked if there was any way to track the balance, resissue the gift card, etc. During this interaction, other employees got up and retrieved the gift certificate forms and suggested he reissue us one since they knew the balance and they know my mom. However he refused to. Tony acknowledged that he knew there was $120 left on the gift certificate (because she had been in yesterday and he had seen the balance), and that he would not let anyone else use the gift certificate if they brought it in--since he knows my mom and her name. However, he despite that he still refused to give her credit or reissue a gift certificate for the remaining $120 amount.I would never buy gift certificates here, you are throwing your money away. Also, based on the other reviews I see here--I would steer clear of Tony as a general rule. It was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.Jasmine, Ivy, and Cathy have always been very nice to us.

This was my first time and my LAST. I went in today just needing a fill. Nothing complicated. I was asked where I had gotten them done and when I told them, they laughed and made me feel uncomfortable. The man who did the fill was completely rude and dismissive to what I wanted. He told me the polish I picked out didnt go well together and picked it out for me. He was talking on his phone while he was doing my nails, multiple times the electric file touched my knuckle which made me nervous and it hurt. He didnt seem to care. As you can see in the pictures, he drilled away the nail tip underneath on multiple nails and he didnt give me the shape I wanted. I wanted coffin nails. Overall BAD experience and I dont suggest this place to anyone. Complete waste of money.P.s. not a lot of variety of nail polish colors.

The nail work was amazing, however, the customer service was extremely lacking. I had a gentleman do my nails. He was rude and at one point almost cut my hand with the buffer when the nail container he had me resting my hand on slipped. At one point I accidentally touched one of my nail tips on the uv light. I said I am sorry I think I messed it up. You certainly did was the response and instead of wiping the nail polish off, he just painted over it so now its bumpy. When we were down he did a light slap on the hand and said done. $44. He was obviously just wanting to get to the next customer. Three stars instead of one because besides the bump, best nail job I have ever had. If you can handle a run down place with rude customer service this is the place to go.

Im not really a fan of this place.My appointment is always started really late -- I understand waiting 10 minutes but waiting 30 to 45 minutes is pushing it. Whats the point of an appointment if you start like 45 minutes late? Im a stickler on time and the time management here doesnt exist.The staff is nice, but the manager is always taking calls during the service which was frustrating. I never knew if she was talking to me or on the phone.Ive had hits and misses with the actual nail work. sometimes its great, other times its sloppy.

This is by far my favorite nail salon in the beaverton area. My most recent experience, with Jasmine, left me happier than ever before! The prices are great, as well as the staff. Love, love, love.

This was the worst experience I ever had! The guy with the tear drop tattoo was awful. He worked on my daughters nails, and she was wincing in pain. And he didnt care one bit. The lady that did my nails was just as bad. They both spoke to us like we were children. Reprimanding us to hold still. Then the they yelled at each other, it was so unprofessional. They adviously dont like their jobs. Lifes to short, figure out what makes you happy and move on.

Weird vibes. When I arrived everyone looked very odd, nobody greeted me, I just left I can’t waste time.

Customer service is terrible. These people give off such a negative vibe as soon as you walk in and it seems that they are always sassy with the customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I will never come back. Got a pedicure and full set. Was asked if I wanted wine, I said yes and waited a whole 20 min before I reminded Tony about it and he was quite rude about it. After that, a lady came in to get a manicure and he rudely questioned her about the nail polish she had on among other things it felt like an interrogation. I felt pressured to buy a bag of popcorn for $15 (a good cause) and did not even get a thank you...I dont even eat popcorn. I have not gone back since. Go to Allure nails instead. Tina is great!!!

Worst experience ever damaged my original nail and Tony the guy with tattoos was so rude and so unprofessional he started yelling his trying to run a business but doesn’t know nothing about customer service or how to treat his clients. I’ve been to other nails places where they do a way better job.

This is the worst place ever. They all literally stare at you and you can tell that they are judging you. Then when I went there for the first time I thought it was really cool until they started to do my nails they literally dig into your nails with the tools and it’s so painful. Then once they were done it was so pretty. But I also had a huge hang nail on both of my thumbs that took so long to get off. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

I like the workers, they are super busy so my appointment is always started about 15-20 min late. But overall very sweet, great price, and great color selection.

Horrible customer service I shouldve listened to all the bad reviews. Do not ever go here because there chelac is faded out and they leave it in the sun and dont update it so it is false advertisement for the customer. When I saw that it was a different color she said it would be darker my second coat and then it was the same color I said it would be fine I paid for it and I was still mad and she could tell that I was mad and did nothing about it and I came back about 30 min later and I said I want a different color and all they did was argue with me. They dont care about there customers they just care about your money.

Came here to get a manicure & pedicure for my daughters wedding. Wow, what an awful experience!First, it took 3 hours with looong waits between pedicure, manicure & a decoration on my big toe. I also asked for gel nails but they said no because they were too busy. OK.I used a debit card to pay for it - BIG MISTAKE. The receipt they gave me had froze $200 for a $60 transaction AND IT HAD MY CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCE listed on my receipt! What an invasion of privacy!Worse yet, 2 DAYS after the pedicure I got out of the shower and the nail on my big toe just fell off! That has NEVER happened to me before. EVER!Needless to say, I wont go there again.BUYER BEWARE!

Price is great and they do a good job on your nailsBut everytime you make an appointment you still end up waiting 20+ minToday I had a 5pm appointment, waited 25min for my guy to finish, then he gets up and starts doing a pedi and tells me 20 more min so I left.Its really frustrating because I drive 20min out of the way to go to this place...

Reading through the other reviews I must agree with the lower ratings. I will admit I’ve only been once and everything was not horrible but I definitely left feeling dissatisfied and insulted.To detail or confirm other reviewer comments (good or bad):1) I was able to schedule same day and they were prompt in getting me started. I was offered a beverage. My mani /pedi looks pretty good and it was quick.Then there is:2) I was barked at for sitting in the wrong place3) I was chastised for anything I didn’t do immediately like putting the wrong hand or foot out at the right time (never thought I’d feel bad about limb placing)4) I didn’t pay for the callus upgrade so for regular pedi I got 2 quick scrubs on each foot. About 5 seconds a foot. Menu suggest differently.5) The woman next to me was a regular. She complained about nail polish on her skin and two employees basically told her she was crazy and couldn’t see because she was old. They completely demoralized her. By the way... it WAS on her skin!6) They were nice to me WHEN I paid but counted the tip in front of me.Please believe I am truly not a complainer. Nor do I judge on one experience. I felt I needed to post this because it has been bugging me all night so I finally checked other reviews. Way to many similarities with the negative ones. I’m usually pretty accepting of attitudes but I really left feeling uncomfortable.

They sold my friend a large amount gift certificate for her and her bridal party to get their nails done. Then they refused to book reservations for the wedding party to get their nails done together (a small party at that, 6 ppl). They knowingly sold her the certificate knowing that was her wants then turned around and denied her that service. Its almost a good thing they we changed spas because now I see that there are a lot of bad reviews for this one.

I love this place. Very thorough and professional.

The prices are amazing and the service is great. You can also get optional upgrades but dont feel pressured to do so. Just make sure that you call ahead and make an appointment because sometimes walkins cant get in right away.

The worst Costimer service, and they use low quality products. 3 of my acrylic nails broke within the first days. Last time I went I was standing in the front desk and the guy with tattoos scream at me from the other side of the room in a really rude way asking me what I wanted, everybody was impressed on the way he talked to me for no reason at all. If you wanna go get your nails and feel relax about it, this is not the place.

I moved to Beaverton about 6 months ago and have been looking for a place to get my nails done.... when i came here it was soooo busy so I thought it would be a good place. Ivy did my pedicure and it was awesome!! Then someone else did my nails and thats when my experience went bad. My nails were crooked, different lengths and 3 of my fingers were bleeding when I left. I wont be going back there again. I found an awesome place if anyone is interested, message me.

Horrible. 3 hours for a mani/pedi. Made me miss an important meeting. That was with an appointment. I never dreamed I would be there that long. It’s not like they worked on me that long... most of the time I was sitting unattended. I would have left had I not been in the middle of the process. The worker Left me just sitting in the chair multiple times during my pedicure. Workers were rude and didn’t listen to what I wanted on my nails. Will never return.

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Worst customer service ever experienced. They were snotty when I called and said 2 nails had cracked the day after they got done, saying thats never happened to her before and to charge for the bad job she did. She said to walk in to get them fixed. At the walk in they said no one said to walk in and to make an appointment. The women started arguing so will be getting them done elsewhere. Been going there for 2 years. Will never go back.

I have been to Galaxy Nails 3 times. 3 times I have been so disappointed. My nails always look unevenly painted, super messy on the skin around my nails and there is no attention to details. My fingers look like they havent had a manicure. It is so frustrating to have such a bad experience especially when I dont get my nails done very often. They always ruin my special occasion by doing a half ass job. Im never going back there.

I USED to love this place, I went here almost every 2 weeks to month for about 2 years. Slowly over the 2 years, the quality of service and end product has dropped dramatically that I wont bother going back ever again. They used to do a great job, but dont waste your money here as they are more worried about getting more people in the door than actually doing a good job.Ive gotten everything from acrylics, shellac, to pedicures here. The owner is the only one who does the acrylics and she is on the phone as receptionst the whole time stopping to write down appointments and greeting the guests that came in. I just let it go, but its honestly not the pampering that Im paying over $60 to get. Stop being cheap and have someone else help cover that part. Youre getting a terrible reputation.When Ive gotten just the regular services, you are passed from technician to technician, literally one will file, someone else will put on the precoat, while a new technician will do your polish, etc. They have you jump from chair to chair. Again, this place doesnt care about your feeling relaxed as long as they are making money.Stay away. There are MUCH better locations where they care about more than just your money.

My girlfriend went and they over charged her for a fill, and three of her nails were in pain because the lady doing her nails kept shredding her cuticles off-eventually hitting her skin. She said she wouldnt risk going back.

If I could give these guys less than a star I would. The overall feeling in this place is hostile. I had gotten the shellac in a nude color but the color that was placed was not the one I had chosen and when told about it, they did not offer to change the color and continued to paint my nails. Two days later THREE nails chipped and when I got to the salon they were upset about it. Another older lady was having issues as I was waiting to get my nails fixed and they started arguing about the color being different and asked for them to fix it. They eventually did fix her nails but was ABSOLUTELY RUDE ABOUT IT!!!!!!! My nails were fixed as well, but thats the first and last time Ill go there. COSTUMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST THERE.

I didnt like him at all. Not social, said he did top coat but didnt, left me sitting for an hour. Polish is globby with little lumps and doesnt extend to edges of nail. Trim left a sharp edge that snags my socks. Just overall a bad experience. Oh, and cash only. Their onsite ATM surcharged me twice.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I made an appointment for my friend & I. Apparently making an appointment doesn’t mean anything because you’re still left waiting forever. It was not properly staffed, so we waited forever to get a chair much less to get our service done. My friend also was not happy with her manicure as they did not do what she asked (Simple request: Paint the ring fingers a glitter color) (But instead, the lady just painted a glitter on top of the pink color she got... Even though my friend told her repeatedly that she did not want it on top). For a shellac manicure & pedicure, we were there for over 3 hours... To add to the horrible customer service, they only accept cash and there was no sign saying that... We left, what was supposed to be a relaxing & fun experience, in a horrible mood & we will definitely not be returning.

This is the way a business should be run. Warm and friendly with the utmost of professionalism this team of people work together so harmoniously it is like a symphony. It is the cleanest, most sanitary establishment with happy friendly workers...I LOVE THEM and refer every body to them...dont blame me if they raise their prices though...they are well worth it!I have been a professional cosmetologist and instructor for over 35 years so I know of what I speak. I drive one hour to get to Galaxy Nails and have for over a year and will not go any where else. Consistant..every time and even when two or 3 of us go in you never feel like someone else is getting a better service than you...each and every one of those manicurist/pedicurists/waxers use a system they developed and it is remarkable. I highly recommend any one of them!

The technician left polish on my skin around my toes and the massage was very minimal even though I told him I could take more pressure. It was also primarily on my shins when it should have been more on my calves where all the tension is. Same with the foot massage, all on the top. Decided to try this place as there were other shops around I needed to go to and was disappointed.

Made an appointment with a specific person...got a guy...he did not speak English...was not in uniform and the girl that was working next to him was translating. I went in for a mani/pedi...the guy soaked my feet...then started working on my feet. When he got to the cuticle remover with the nail nippers, he cut me! He took a good chunk of my nail and I started to bleed!!! When this happened, I thought to myself, let me see what he is going to do...well he did nothing! The girl next to him told him in their language...hey, she is bleeding (I am only assuming that because he then put his thumb over my bleeding nail so that maybe I did not see it bleeding) Well, I did see it bleeding! Before I said STOP...he took the square buffer and used it on my bleeding toe! I said then STOP loud and everyone in the salon was looking at me. I told him, you cut me and I am bleeding! That is NOT OK!!! And then I told him, I am done...I gotta go...I left crying and so upset. I went straight to the Dr. where I was seen and given ointment to cover any staph infection that I may have gotten from the injury. Oh my gosh...I will never go again,..and the Cosmetology Board has already heard from me!!! Oh, and by the way...do you NOT need to know English when you go to school here????!!! Seriously! I wonder if he was even licensed at all!!! Ugh...Never going back!

Worst place EVER! The employees are soooo rude. They do the worst job Ive ever had on both pedicures and full sets/fills. The only positive about this place is having a glass of wine.

I like how friendly this place is and prices are great. Mani/Pedi are done well,( but only if its not busy). Today they did my manicure while I was sitting in a pedicure chair (I dont like that) My manicure was done by 4 people (because it was busy) they kept leaving me and coming back. Also I have noticed today 6 customers that had appointments were waiting and only 4 employees were available and the owner still accepted 3 walk in customers (workers were not happy) at the end one of the employees got hurt, customers that had appointments had to reschedule for another time and walk in customers were served. Didnt make any sence to me. Advice for the owner, treat your employees as humans not as robots. Work on timing, and serve those who came by appointments first. And pay attention to ratio, 3 employees to 9 customers doesnt look right to me. By the way I dont like how they did my manicure and I didnt get massage (because it was so busy)

Honestly I had several ladies doing my nails and they seemed to be rushed the lady that did my nails last seemed tired bits true I was toward the end of the day and I looked at my toenails and it didn’t look perfect instead it looked terrible. I’m not returning or recommending this salon

Horrible service and be prepared to pay cash only. The attitude of the owner is shocking.Never again, though location is great.

I HAD been going there for the last 2 years about every 4-6 weeks. Ive noticed the service has been getting worst the last 6 months (since the re-model). Yesterday was the final straw! My daughter and I had appoiontments and arrived 2 min early. We were completely ignored for about 8 min. Once our pedis started the owner had my person stop working on me 15 min in and start a NEW person. I sat for almost 15 min with wax on my feet being completely alone. Finally one of the other nail techs stopped working on another client and started on me (leaving the other client alone - I saw this happen 3 times to different people!!) Once my toes were painted I was told to sit a few min to get a flower. After 20 min of sitting in the chair waiting, my daughter paying and asking twice for someone to finish me and having been there for 1hr 50 min, I just got up and walked out. They never did offer to finish the flower nor put the final top coat on. Also, they messed up my daughters toes when they put her shoes on her.We will NEVER go back again nor recommend them! I was an excellent client who made appointments, arrived on time, paid cash and left 18-20 % tips and had bought gift certificates for others. Their loss....
