I had Mr. Duct do a vent cleaning of our home today. After the cleaner had left and we went upstairs my wife and I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning the entire upstairs and vacuuming all bedrooms and stairs as per the mess that their company had left behind. I spent $295.00 on what I thought was going to be a professional job but was anything but that. We just had brand new carpet installed on the stairs and each bedroom along with everything painted. In the pictures you will see stains on the stairs carpet and the walls have stuff marks from the vacuum hoses. The dust particals were all over the carpets in the upstairs bedrooms as well.My son had to leave his room while the job was being done due to the room filling up with nothing but dust from the vacuum which had holes in the hoses.If this was my company, I would be very embarrasses. I spoke with the dispatcher after the cleaner had left and he says I can have him come back and clean up his mess if you like I will NEVER use this company again!

Called a few places around for air vent cleaning. But everyone else had appointments too far out or never called back. I put in an online request with Mr.Duct, and they called within the hour. Scheduled my appointment the same week! Time window was between 2 to 4 and they arrived between that window. Set everything up and got to work. Efficient, fast, friendly. And didnt try to shove other products down my throat. They also asked to clean up for the little dust that fell around the vents i declined and told them Id get to cleaning as soon as they leave. But it was really nice that they offered that.Thank you for an awesome job! Will be calling them again and recommending them to anyone looking for air vent cleaning.

We had them come today to clean our ducts and vents and after any home service we have used I have NEVER had to clean up after them. I had to wash our bathroom rug and towel from the dirt also the bathtub and floor. Around every vent had to be cleaned. The worst part is they left our gate open and our dog got out. What kind of service is this? They knew we had a dog!! It’s a very scary feeling when you go to let your dog back in and his is NOT there. Thank God we found him. I really hope they read this message and learn from it we got lucky to have found our dog but next time who knows that owner might not be.

The Technician, Daniel, arrived promptly on time. He was courteous and friendly and made sure to let me know what he was doing even to the point of letting me know when the vacuum was starting and it might frighten my cats. He did an extremely thorough job. I feel like I have a new dryer now! Get those ducts cleaned out!

Exceptional service! Between Keith, Mark, Tom, Ben and Sebastian i had an incredible experience! I would recommend 10/10 times! Fairly priced, quick response time, and a more than thorough diagnosis. Originally Ben thought my Gas Valve was bad, but instead of just rushing to the parts store and putting a new one in to find out it wouldnt work, he took a step back and re-diagnosed the problem. Turned out being the motherboard for the unit. I was very impressed at his ability to be patient and double check his work before he tried to solve it. Very impressed with these guys!! Two guys from Mr. Duct cam to clean my dryer vent. My dryer is on my second floor and vents through the roof. These gentlemen arrived on time, put one shoe covers and proceeded straight to work. They completed the job and cleaned up after themselves. Importantly, they informed about the roof vent and recommended periodic cleaning to insure that the vent remains unobstructed. I give Mr. Duct a high recommendation.

Update: Keith was very understanding given the situation below and offered a resolution. The air duct team was here today within the scheduled time and did a great job! I truly appreciate Carla and Keiths help and customer service! My air ducts look a whole heck of a lot better.I called on Saturday 5/30 to follow up on an appointment I had scheduled earlier that week. The person I spoke with in the scheduling department stated that they didn’t even have me on the calendar. To which i said, “sure, and set up another appointment.”Today, 6/3, is the day of my appointment with my scheduled time being 3-5pm. I have taken off work to wait for the tech to come. I called the department handling already placed appointments inquiring about if the person was still coming as it was 5:10PM. I received a call back with the customer service rep stating that he was lucky to get ahold of him and apologized that he wouldn’t be there until 6PM. Not only was i not notified of this additional hour wait, I was only given two options after talking with the “supervisor” in regards to this problem. The “supervisor” said there was nothing he could do and that I had two options, either wait till 6PM or cancel. I chose to cancel as this is a company that does not care about their customers nor their time. There is obviously many things that could have happened, one being letting your customers know when they are not going to arrive on time. The response of the “supervisor” was unacceptable.

Adrian and Josh provided great service! They explained everything, were very thorough, and showed the before and after the duct cleaning shots. My daughter had her ducts cleaned too by 2 different staff, and she was also amazed. Tom, the manager made sure that everything was done to satisfaction. I will absolutely use Mr Duct again in the future. I am 100 % satisfied!

Everything went really smoothly and communication was perfect! We really appreciated the call letting us know the technicians were on their way. They worked very quickly and systematic so not to miss anything. The only thing we wouldve liked to have seen was a video or something showing exactly how much dust/debris was removed from our ducts. A visual is always nice. We would definitely have them back out again in the future.

Though the crew arrived earlier than was booked, they did a wonderful job of cleaning out the ventilation system. They were meticulous about opening the vents and then cleaned up the areas around the vents once completed. It was obvious that the vents were never previously cleaned but the crew made sure to get all of the years of build-up out of the house. We hope that this will lead to a much healthier environment for our family.

Only thing I can say is GREAT JOB! The two men were very professional, helpful, and pleasant. Our new home had a distinct smell of dog that the duct cleaning took care of. However, I could still smell it in a couple of rooms. One of the men recommended a deodorizer, which I ran to Home Depot and picked upped. He was right, I sprayed the wall area and the smell dissipated.If anyone ever asks for a duct cleaning recommendation, I will definitely tell them to use Mr. Duct.

Mr. Duct fit me in their schedule fast! We just moved into a new house and the previous owner was a smoker. I was coughing during the night so I ordered a vent cleaning ASAP. Mr Duct recently did air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning service at my new home. They came and cleaned our vents thoroughly. Both Earnesto & Hector was very knowledgeable and thorough in their work. Did a clean work and also they took care of falling apart dryer vent for us which would have otherwise been a fire hazard that previous owners never realized.Overall I am greatly satisfied with their work and also would recommend to my friends their service.

All I can say is that people who live in this area and use this air duct company have to be the dumbest of the dumb not to check other companies for price . I also highly question that everyone who has given them a review gave than a 5 star review . Sounds like a bunch of friends writing perfectly crafted reviews . They all sound alike . For a 2000 square FT home, they quoted me about $500 bucks. They claim they do more than other places but thats not true, as I called around and all included the same services . The other companies charged between $150-185. I say skip the rip off place and look elsewhere .

Since I can only give whole stars, I have to give a 5 (my review should really be 4.5, but Im rounding up because of the professionalism of the two technicians who did the work). Some of the best money Ive spent moving into his house. Anyone who lives into an old home, especially one that was renovated by a flipper who didnt really take care of the infrastructure, is a must.The two techs who came out were very professional, thorough, and incredibly respectful of my home. The before / after pictures are striking. And some of that old house smell is now gone!I took off a half star because 1) they didnt warn me that theyd be starting up what sounded like a jet engine powered vacuum machine thing. Had I known that Id be creating this much loud noise on a Saturday morning, I would scheduled a later appointment. I didnt have a chance to warn my neighbors. And 2) I was never told about the drilling into the duct work. Im skeptical that the holes that were drilled into the duct work will hold up with those flimsy plugs. But it seems to be okay.I highly, highly recommend that most people do this. Makes quite a difference. I recommend Mr Duct of Barrington.

My daughter completed a request for duct cleaning service from Mr. Duct and I received a call within minutes after she completed the on-line request. Then they were able to provide my duct cleaning service the same day!The technicians were very professional and willing to explain the process they used to clean my air ducts. Video of the cleaned ducts was provided.We have a Labrador Retriever in the house that sheds. I received 3 quotes for duct cleaning, Mr. Duct was in the middle but I liked their website and information the best and they matched the competitors pricing. I called on Thursday for a Monday morning appt. Service guy Cesar was very good, professional, answered my questions, service lasted ~2-1/2 hrs, cleaned up, replaced screws on vents that needed it. I was very satisfied with this service and recommend Mr. Duct.

We paid $119 to have a technician come out to troubleshoot our thermostats, he claims he figured out the issues and that it would be resolved by the door switch getting tightened or by changing out the thermostats. He also informed me that if we still had issues Mr Duct would come back out for NO additional cost. Well, we did both of what he suggested, and the issue was still not resolved. Well, apparently the technician lied to us, and Mr Duct does not stand behind their employees words. They WILL NOT come out again unless we pay. So basically they want to charge ANOTHER $119 troubleshoot fee, even though the initial troubleshoot service did not solve anything. When I spoke with Mr Duct about this whole issue they claim they are not responsible for what their employees say!! Pretty much saying theyre just gonna keep our money for not doing anything. $119 dollars to solve NOTHING.Mr Duct is a company that only cares about receiving money and not the guarantee of their customers satisfaction. Not only that, they dont stand behind their technicians words, which, as a company, does not bode well for their employees. Not sure how they can have so many positive reviews because this whole issue was very very disappointing.Edit: After a few days of talking with them we were able to reach a conclusion that satisfied us. As a result I have adjusted from 1 star to 3 stars. Jason who came out as the second technician was wonderful and thorough, which is how we wouldve liked the first technician to be, and we could have avoided all these issues. Thank you for the follow up.

Mr Duct was good. Came prepared and was punctual. They gave you the 411- good or bad- and got it fixed. I got the new warranty package as my furnace is getting old and my air doesnt keep up.They were super nice and offered to come out later (6-7pm) which was refreshing to know.

I have to be honest, I was skeptical at first that they were actually going to do everything that was listed in the email sent to me by Nora but that was more than likely due to all of the horror stories I had heard about dishonest companies. To avoid any confusion and to make sure nothing was missed, I double checked everything with AJ, even showing him the email describing all the steps they would take to make sure the system was cleaned thoroughly. He reassured me they would cover all the bases and I would be included a lot of the process. They went room to room and hit each and every vent, which was my main concern because these ducts were HORRIBLE. They said they looked like they had never been cleaned and probably havent. Again, they did a fantastic job, showing us before and after video of the process I am extremely happy with the service. In fact, Ive already recommended them to a family member. One thing I will say about this company is I was lied to. My furnace had a problem , I come to find out it was because my flame sensor was not cleaned. I had this company clean my furnace and I specifically asked did you clean the flame sensor, he said yes you have my word. Obviously his word was a lie. It was not cleaned.

From the initial phone call for an appointment to the follow-up after, the customer service from Mr. Duct was first-rate. The service technician was on-time and efficient. He explained what he did and called my attention to a part in my furnace that might need to be replaced in the near future, including an approximate cost for the part. The tech noted the issue in my records and said that anyone who came out would check it in the future to make sure that there werent problems. I will definitely use Mr. Duct for my air conditioning service this summer, too. Even though I was happy with the service from my prior HVAC service company, when I needed an appointment this time, they could not accommodate me, Mr. Duct did and I will continue to call them for service again. My highest recommendation for Mr. Duct to anyone looking for the best in customer service and technical expertise.
