Went in for a pedicure during my lunch break. I am so happy with the results. Given that it was completely empty when I went in but she took her time to do everything neatly and I really appreciate that. Cut my toenails good and didnt go digging into my edges which usually causes ingrown nails. I am overall happy with this place and will definitely come back

They did a good job with managing the time. The nail tech that worked on my feet was not gentle enough. Overall they were accommodating and pleasant. They had every other chair open to practice social distancing. They also had a color I had been looking for. I would go again.

Calming decor, soft piano music playing, 2 TVs on wall across from pedicure chairs but no sound to spoil the relaxing ambiance but had subtitles for those who want to follow what was being said. The callus removal pedicure was done with careful attention to my cuticles & calluses. Cleanliness with equipment & salon was excellent. Il definitely go back .

We went here yesterday, and the owner was really friendly & great ! There are many talented hands at this salon, it is literally the best nail shop in the area.

They dont rush you (which I love) because they really want to make sure that the nail job is PERFECT. They take them time and asks you what you like/dont like.

I was getting my eyebrows done and a rat came out of now where, I questioned it and the owner said dont worry its ratatouille then proceeded to moisturize my face with four cheese tomato sauce. They said the red in the tomatos will help with my red skin because if two reds come into contact they will eliminate each other and I would have clear skin after but then the tech started to lick my face but they apologized after saying they wanted a quick snack.

The spa very clean. Everyone there is very nice. Very relaxing. Manicure and pedicures performed to perfection. Always happy and relaxed when I leave.

I found this location as it is close to Schnucks grocery store as I just moved close by. I stopped in one day for a quick mani/pedi before grocery shopping and I felt like it was the best mani pedi I have gotten in a long time. They are all so nice, the nail spa is clean, and the owner and nail artists are very sweet! I’ll continue going to this location!

She took her time cutting my cuticles and i can always tell whether or not itll be a good pedi or mani by the way they cut my cuticles. My toes are so nicely done.

They completely don’t check on their wax’s temperature before applying to the face. Made two big gashes where they waxed tge brows. You couldn’t pay me to step foot in here again

I have been coming to Vip Nails since is was Top One Nails some 20 years ago. I was so was excited when they relocated and opened as Vip Nails. The salon is bright and comfortable and clean. They have a variety of services, use the best products, and are open every day, all day. They take walk-ins and try very hard to get to every customer in a timely manner. The nail technicians are friendly and good at their job. Ive been to quite a few nail salons here in the St. Louis area over the years, VIP Nails rocks in comparison!

It is great, you can call and Mack an appointment and then you just go in, wash your hands in their sink and you have to wear a mask, but that is everywhere right now. And my nails look grrrrrr8.

I came into the salon today because Im looking for a new place. My pedicure was mostly fabulous except for the couple of times I got nipped. I have very rough feet and my technician was able to work some sort of a miracle with all the tools of her trade. The Hot Stone pedicure is $50 but, in my opinion, its worth every penny. My only other complaint regarding my pedicure is a sloppy polish job. I also had a gel dip manicure(at 40% off)which I was not as happy about. I had one of the owners, a gentleman. He was very nice, very gentle, and he didnt rush BUT he did leave some raised edges around the sides of my nail and I also have some of the gel dip material under the side of my nail where it meets the pad of your finger. Its kind of annoying and theres no getting rid of it until I have my nails done again. There are also some ridges in my nails where I dont think he got quite enough of the excess powder off the nail. I would go back for a pedicure but not for nails. Based on the pedicure alone it gets 4 stars but when I factor in the nails I have to lower it to 3 stars.

From the moment I walk in I feel welcomed. The staff is courteous and professional at VIP Nails & Spa. I usually get the powder for my nails & tried it at other salons, but no other compares to them. Also, the atmosphere is very tranquil & relaxing. I always feel re-energize when I leave.

My experience here today was great. They were welcoming and took the time in making my nails look fabulous. Its great that they cleaned up everything after each customer which I like. Definitely recommend!

It takes a lot for me to write a poor online review. But this was by far the worse pedicure I have ever received. It was far from relaxing. The woman rushed through my pedicure, the exfoliation was painful she rubbed so fast with lots of pressure. The callus removal hurt, that tool is terrible and the woman didnt pay any attention. She trimmed my large toe nail in way to far, then proceed to poke it with the cleaning stick that was so painful I yelled out. I hope that toenail does not become ingrown since she trimmed it in so far. So happy to leave.

Been visiting this salon for quite awhile now. Each visit the service just kept getting better and better. The Royal spa pedicure I always get is so relaxing and comfortable. The tech always do an amazing job on my toe nails.

The manager is a treasure. He does brilliant work, on time, and always with a smile. I have been going to him for many years now and not once have I had a broken nail or ever chip. If you ever have a chipped nails within a week after they were done, he is happily willing to fix the chipped nails for free. He is a perfectionist and a friend.

This place sure knows how to hustle and provide excellent service effortlessly! I was greeted when I arrived, seated and the tech worked right away and did a flawless job! From shaping, trimming and polishing my nails. It was absolutely perfect!

They normally do a good job but this time when I got a pedicure the lady just started cutting my toenails really short and didn’t even ask if I wanted them cut. I was really upset, she cut so much off that my toes hurt. She really didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and seemed as though she didn’t care.

I started going here due to a canceled appointment at another place. I instantly liked my nail tech Lin. The irritation started when sometimes I would make an appointment the man who happens to be the owner started doing my nails and he is rough not meaning painful but throws your hands around sharply. When I make an appointment with someone that is who I expect to see doing my nails. He is the rudest person I believe I have ever encountered. I will no longer go there. The only reason they do business is the woman that work there it is not for this crabby mans personality.

I got a manicure and pedicure there yesterday because my usual place is closed for renovation. The manicure is very sloppily done. But the pedicure was the worst!! Very rough and even painful. Cut a nail so close it bled. Hurts and is red today and I have a low fever. Possibly infected. I’ll probably go to urgent care later today if no improvement. I never give poor reviews, but this is unacceptable.

Had a gift card for here so I thought I’d try the place out before my vacation. They were suppose to open at 9:00, the employees didn’t get there till 9:30/9:45. Service was good and ladies were nice. The day after my mani pedi, I happen to look at my toes and on three nails the paint has cracked from literally just walking around :(

How is this place still in business? I went today (should have read the reviews first). It was by the grocery store and I was in a hurry. Not only did the tech cut my toe making me bleed twice, I have a second degree burn on my ankle due to their hot towels. I left no tip and didnt even speak to the tech as she checked me out. I didnt realize how badly the burn was until I got int he car and immediately call about a refund (which was not given). Do not go here!

Love this nail salon! The place was clean and comfortable. I had no problem walking in with no appointment along with my friend to get a manicure. The techs were very polite and friendly.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Ask for a gel MANICURE, get a polish change for $30.00, after they cut and filed my daughters nails into shapes that cannot be corrected. When confronted, Linda called my daughter a LIAR. Pass this place if you can, not worth it. Good reason they have a 1.5 star rating on Yelp.

I enjoyed my experience at VIP. Linda did a fantastic job on my feet. The salon was very clean. The staff was friendly and professional and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I like that they use plastic liners in the tubs and change them after each client. This was my first time but not my last.

Just sat there for 20 min when they were supposed to be open at 10. A lady that works there was waiting in her car but didn’t get out. She stared at me but did nothing. At 10:20 a lady in an Audi pulls up, walks to the door and tries to open it and then heads back to her car. The woman that works there ran out of her car and told her to wait. Then looked at me and got back in her car. Extremely rude! I felt third class and like I didn’t matter. I have 3 small kids and I had a morning to myself. All I wanted was a pedicure. No other places were open so I just went home. Won’t ever be back at this place.

They put the wrong dip color on my nails, didnt apologize for it. Cut up the sides of my nails with their rough filing. And the manicure looks crappy. I wont go back ever again. 2 stars because the place was very clean and the chairs are comfortable.

My wife spent $105 dollars in the salon as well as tipped both nail techs generously. They charge a pretty penny for a Gel set and advertise as well as gaurentee no chipping or peeling for up to 21 days. However, the nail tech who was new failed to prep the nail bed enough to where the polish would adhere to the nail properly. Even upon leaving the nail salon another tech had to touch up her work while at the same time saying she did good job. A couple of days later the nail polish started to raise off the nail bed in one piece on not all but multiple nails (7). The owner told her to come in to fix the issue but she greeted by a nail tech who said that she was pulling the polish off the nail bed. My wife is very good about getting a Gel Polish every 3 weeks and has never had this problem before at her normal salon (who happen to be out of the country for 6 weeks). Anyway, she was told to wait for the owner by another tech who was polite to her walking in the door. So while waiting she notices the state licenses posted in the wall anx wanted to get the name of the tech that did her nail when she notices that some of the licenses have different pictures but the same name. We will be calling the state to investigate because we are assuming that the tech who did her nails is not licensed.

My daughter accidentally messed up her thumb and lady told her she was to busy to fix it. WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT! My lady filed my nail so far down it hurt. I could of painted my nails alot better myself. Definitely not recommend.

Absolutely awful! The main guy was extremely condescending and wouldnt listen to what I wanted at all. Worst set of acrylics Ive ever gotten. Had to go home and file the nails because he wouldnt do them nearly as short as I wanted. Also, they were see through and I was told it was just my nails- never ever had that problem before. Will not got back! Way overpriced as well. I have had my nails done countless times and never have they looked anywhere near this bad.

Worst experience Ive ever had getting a manicure.Asked for a full set with acrylic and gel. They insisted to do powder. It took over an hour. During that time, she cut me and burned me more times than I can count. She squeezed blood out of my finger at one point. When I told her it hurt, she brushed it off (making it seem like that was normal) Definitely the most painful manicure Ive ever had. My nails look horrible and my fingers still hurt an hour later. I have cuts that will definitely scab. On top of that, it cost $40 that Ill never get back.

VIP?! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. I called ahead to see if they were open till 6, I went up there with my friend, they both had us soak our nails in a bowl of acetone. They poured the acetone that was used in my bowl back into the container. Totally weird and gross.... They finally started on my nails, and made my friend sit there and soak her nails for the full 45 minutes it took to do my nails. She told them she would just come back since she had to wait, and they charged her $10 for removing her polish. She didnt even receive a service! Will not be coming back!

Received a fill in, nail came off within a week. Older guy wouldnt honor fixing my nail, saying his product wouldnt do that. But he remembered doing my nails. Wanted to charge to fix my nail. Will never go back or recommend any one here.

I always get my gel nails done here and I have never had them stay on longer. At other spas they probly stay on two or three weeks. But at vip nails they stay on for two or three MOUNTHS!! And they never chip! I love this place and I totally recommend it!

I had dips done and they cracked less than a week later. My nails were filed SO unevenly. The coats were so thin that I could see through the polish too. Veda nails across the street charges the same and does a 10x better job.

This place was HORRIBLE. We used a gift card to pay and it was “declined”. She ran the card around 6 times. we checked online and it had actually gone threw. I asked for the receipt and they gave it to me ripped up and tossed it on the floor. They wanted us to give them our license which is ridiculous. They were trying to call the cops on us. They made us pay them an addition $50. DO NOT GO HERE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PITIFUL.

Service was good initially. My gel manicure peeled after a week. The manager wanted me to bang my nails on the counter. He told me it was my fault and he would only paint the 2 nails that were chipped. He was rude and acted like it was horrible for me to request that he redo my while manicure. I will never go back there again!

My mom and I used to go here when it first opened and it was ok. A good concept. However, over the years they have gotten down right rude and lazy. They have no concept of customer service and, like Ive seen in other reviews, turn complaints back around on the customer. Ive had technicians walk away mid appointment to talk to another technician, reprimand their children (who seem to always be there), or start treating another customer who may be a regular with no regard to my time or schedule. On top of that, the manicures and pedicures arent even good quality. Very frustrating.One time when my mom and I went, two technicians got in a huge screaming match with each other! I think they were a husband and wife. I have no idea what they were saying because no one speaks English (unless they are asking you to upgrade), but for a place with a sign asking their customers to keep voices low to ensure a peaceful atmosphere, it was incredible unprofessional and rude.It would be one thing if it was a one time occasion. Every place has its moments. But I gave this place multiple tries. I will never go back. I found another nail salon that makes this place look like a joke.

I was unhappy with the shellac mani I received. I went back and had it removed for 5 additional dollars by a very rude nail tec. She wanted to put another one on. She roughly removed the polish and my nails were cracked and splitting for months. I keep them short because they continue to split.That was in October. Prior to that my nails were very stong and hard. I also noticed after I soaked in the remover she poured the solution back in the bottle I assume for reuse as that was the same bottle she poured from for me to use.I havent been back since then. Last Saturday I went for a pedicure...the basic for $24.00 and left a $5.00 tip. The tec didnt speak English and spoke in hers to find out what I wanted. My toes look ok, but I found out today the salon charged my card an additional $2.00. I called them and was told it was a mistake and to come back and they would give me my money back. Im really angry they tried to sneak in an additional charge and dont believe for one minute it was accidental. I wonder how many other customers have been duped by this salon. I will only go back to get my $2:00, other than that they have lost my trust and wont be returning. Check your charge card or debit card if you visit this salon!
