I came in at 12:15 on a Friday for an appointment I booked and was welcomed by Mandy right away. I’m an introvert and don’t normally chitchat, but Mandy made me feel so at ease that I felt comfortable enough to speak freely- which was really nice. Her work was thorough and she was super attentive to what I wanted the nail design to look like- she even tested it on one nail first just to make sure I liked it before proceeding. Her nail design skills are top notch! Lindsay did my pedi and she allowed me ample time to relax in the massage chair before we started up a nice conversation. Her work was thorough as well and did an excellent job. They were all such nice and warm people with legitimate talent! The salon itself is clean with nice modern decor. I’m so happy I found them! Such a gem tucked away in Ballwin, I’m only going to Iris for my nails from now on

Edited: I went back and mandy took such good care of me! She completely fixed my nails, took pictures for retraining of techs. They are beautiful! I will definitely be returning.I went in for my first set of acrylics with gel polish. The polish/acrylic was not to the edges making it look grown out. Everyone was very nice and the salon was very clean.

I hadnt been to a salon for almost 2 years. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Greeted by owner Mandy immediately. Thrown a little by iPad signin(2 years), then taken right away by Cindy for fabulous pedicure. Made very comfortable by screens and masks and the thoughtful way they book and seat appts to keep clients and staff in safest atmosphere. A little wait for nails but well worth it. Mandy introduced me to dip nails. I chose white/natural. It is a great option though I didnt ask cost difference from regular acrylic and got a bit of a surprise at checkout. But even then I consider it well worth a little extra with time and expertise involved. Best first time experience ever!!

This will definitely be my new GO TO nail salon. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet. The salon is clean and nicely decorated.

This place is what I have been looking for ever since I moved to STL 5 years ago. The nail art by Mandy is so beautiful that I can’t believe it’s my own hand. The process to make the appointment online was so easy. The hospitality was excellent. THANK YOU!

I have been to Iris Nails and Spa Ballwin about 4x now and never once have it left unhappy. They’re so reasonably and have great customer service! I have even brought along friends to get their nails done as well and everyone has absolutely loved them when they left! These are the most recent ones (March 26, 2021) I’ve gotten there from the wonderful Mandy! I HIGHLY suggest them!

Mandy the owner was very rude and unprofessional. Nail Service was mediocre at best… I do not believe that all these other reviews of five stars are legit… In response to the owners reply …. I will go into more detail…. The fact she is saying she brought out and tried colors on me is a blatant lie!! My only frustration was in the mediocre service I was receiving…. The constant interruptions from her receiving and taking personal phone calls…. Which led to a rushed job. I changed colors only once because the color I chose did not look like the color she brought out…. then she had the nerve to call me picky in front of other patrons. I will not keeping going back and forth with this person. As I know I’m correct and telling the truth.

We stopped in without an appointment on a Monday and quickly got into the water. There was only one available Pedicurist so we agreed one would soak and the other be cared for. As soon as a guy finished up with nails hed been doing, he came right over and started my friends feet (just as the paraffin was coming off mine). Only thing better would have been getting both at the same time. Very clean, automated check-in, no harsh up-sell!! Great experience.

I can’t say enough good things about Mandy & her team of nail techs. They have all treated my daughter (8yrs old) like she is the paying customer. They give her little designs & make her feel so comfortable. I go in for my nails every 2 weeks and see Mandy. She’s personable, professional & I am always happy with her work. I am extremely picky about my nails & she never disappoints.

I finally found my nail ladies! each and every one of them are so talented and fantastic. Im so happy I started going here and know the ladies by name! if youve tried so many nail salons but end up disappointed everytime, dont give up! head on over here, you wont be disappointed.

I just moved to the area and this was my first time coming here. They greeted me immediately then I noticed how clean and cute this place is. Hayley did my pedicure which was so relaxing and they turned out great. Shes very sweet and was nice to chat with! Then I decided last minute that instead of regular nails I would like gel acrylic to which they happily changed plans. Mandy did my nails and I couldnt be happier with how they turned out. Im picky when is comes to acrylics and she did them just right. The length, shape, and color was very consistent. The prices are reasonable and Ill definitely be coming back!

I was visiting from out of town and called to see if my husband and I could get in for a manicure before my nieces wedding. I was told they had appointments right away. We went in and were greeted promptly and professionally. The service and conversation were great. I would definitely recommend these lovely young ladies!

I had Hayley and she was incredible; So nice and an amazing nail tech. She was super friendly and very attentive. She did a great job on my mani and pedi. When I asked if she could do a design on my nails, she went above and beyond and gave me an incredible set of nails. The other nail techs around were also really nice and helpful with one another. Would highly recommend coming here.

My mom and I booked appointments with Cindy and Tammy. We loved our experience there! My mom has a callus that is super painful and her tech spent time and care on her feet, and made my mom feel so much better, she can walk better now!

I HAVE NEVER left a review for any business, so that should give an indication of how upset I am this morning. Ive been coming to Iris since October/November of last year. First, there was a lady that was really kind and nice, and she did an amazing job with my long, natural nails. Then one day she wasnt there anymore. So I started going to Mandy, making an appointment online and showing up the day of, ON TIME, for my appointment. At first, she suggested I get a new (more expensive) service because it was better for natural nails, so I agreed. I had no problem with them at first, but then I noticed that the product wasnt flush to my nail and that my real nail was actually being filed down, rendering the point of growing my nails useless. So when I returned and mentioned this to Mandy, she said its because the service works better for acrylic nails..........the exact opposite of what she said the appointment before. I let it go and went back to dip. That same day, she broke my nail all the way to the nail bed (for reference, my nails are about an inch long from the top of the nail bed) and offered a lackluster apology. Again, I let it go. Fast forward to this week. As usual, I booked online on Tuesday for Thursday morning at 10:30am. This morning at 9:45am, I walk out of my dentist appointment, and see that she text me from her personal phone to confirm my appointment at 9:02am and a follow-up saying if I dont answer by 9:15am, my appointment will be canceled. So you mean to tell me I have to confirm an appointment within 13 minutes??? Sorry Im not able to check my phone while Im LAYING IN THE DENTISTS CHAIR. I text back saying Im still coming and we get in a texting war: her saying she ALWAYS confirms the morning of (which she doesnt; I have never received a text from her) and if she doesnt hear back she cancels; me saying I’ve never not shown up and this is the first time she’s ever texted me in 9 months. No apology for any misunderstanding, no apology for any confusion; just indignation. First, whats the point? I only ever see 1 or 2 other people in the salon on any given day. Second, I have NEVER responded to the auto-text about the appointment, which they send every hour on the day of, including when Im sitting in the chair during the service. Third, a 24-hour notice of confirmation is the courteous and professional thing to do if you are worried about customers not showing up. I never had to confirm an appointment until today, let alone in a 13 MINUTE window. I ultimately decided to accept the cancellation because this was the last straw for me. Ill gladly take my business elsewhere.

This was our first time here we read the great reviews and loved that we could book online! Mandy did an amazing job delicately hand painting subtle tips while Tina gave my daughter beautiful trendy coffin tipped blue dips ..beautiful shop quality service..a little pricier but worth it for the workmanship received! Relaxing, clean, never rushed, high quality massage chairs, great massages and picture perfect nails every time. Far exceeds any other nail salon I’ve been to in the West County area. Also really great covid procedures.

I have been looking for a quality nail salon for the last 18 months and I finally found it at Iris Nail salon. My daughter and I visited for a mani/ pedi gel. This was the first place that did a complete service from start to finish. Tina and Rachel were incredibly personable and so nice to talk to and get to know. My daughter loved the detail in the design of her manicure. We will definitely be returning!

Greatest nail job I’ve ever experienced along with great customer service. They made sure all looks the way I want at the end. I also had a broken nail which they fixed it very professionally without cutting it or using fake nails on. I highly recommend this place.
