I have been going to this office for 30 years and some of the core staff are still here through two dentist changes. New staff is excellent as well!! Highly recommend!!

I hadnt been to the dentist in over 16 years and havent always taken the best care of my teeth. Last week I thought I had a cracked tooth so I called and they where able to get me in for new patient exam. Turned out I didnt have a cracked tooth just needed a deep cleaning and they took care of it the same day. I have always had extreme anxiety about going to the dentist and everyone there was very understanding. They gave me Nitrous during my procedure and it really helped me deal with my anxiety.Best experience I have ever had at a dentist and look forward to my next visit...

After putting off going to the dentist for several years, Ive had to spend a lot of time at this place! To anyone else who maybe hesitant to go to the dentist for various reasons, I would encourage you to come here. The doctor and staff are all very welcoming and felt non-judgy. Because of the amount of work I needed, they were able to create a plan over 2 years that would allow me to work on the most important areas first and move down from there as finances and insurance would allow. Ive never felt pressured to get anything I didnt felt necessary done like special cleanings or other cosmetic things. If I had known about this place sooner, I may not have put off this work for so long. But now Im a regular and feel good about recommending to my friends and family!

The staff is very knowledgeable, supportive and nice. Marina is always on top of everything and makes it so easy when we need to reschedule, have a last minute dental emergency or insurance changes. Never any “surprise” charges, always made aware of charges upfront.

These providers and front office staff are all friendly and professional. The dental hygienist and Dr. Rajanna care about educating you on your teeth and what you can do to care for them and prevent problems. I waited on a cavity due to COVID and now it will be a root canal, but they werent judgmental at all. A word from my experience - it might be best not to wait, you should go see them.It will still be a straightforward process, and we have a good plan going forwards. This office seems to be focused on building a relationship with you and offering you self care advice for your teeth specifically.I wish I lived in Austin sooner so I could see them sooner, but Im glad theyre my dental office now.

When I was 16 I had an accident where I shattered several teeth and have been having serious dental issues ever since. The point is that Ive been to many many offices and see many dentists in the past.I have no hesitation in saying that this office and this Dr. are by the far the best. They have great attention to detail, provide in-depth care and explain everything very well and they look out for your best interests (physically and financially), not their own.I simply cant recommend them enough. Although they were not able to take me at a time that would work for me, they were extremely kind and professional and gave an amazing referral to another business which will also be getting a 5 star review. They didn’t do work they didn’t feel comfortable that they were experts in, and referred me to a specialist who was extremely talented. Any time I need dental cleanings or other work you can just take a wild guess at who’s getting the business, this practice here^ I had a great experience at the place they referred me to getting my wisdom teeth removed (horizontal impacted bottoms, yikes)which shows I can trust them. “People will talk to and entertain ideas from people they like, but if they trust you, they’ll do business.” Thanks again for your kindness, understanding, and giving me the info no other practice seemed to be able to help with. Trust this practice for all needs dental, they’ll make sure you get a real professional who isn’t trying to gut your wallet but truly look out for your dental health. You just don’t find honest businesses like this that much anymore.

I’ve been a patient with APD for a few years and I recently came in for a teeth cleaning and some Build Up under the new Dr. let me tell you, first off I have major anxiety with dental work but Dr kept checking in on me making sure I was okay while she and her assistant performed the work. Front Office staff is always so friendly and greeted with a smile. I feel 100% comfortable at this dental office.

I’ll give you highly recommended. This place is magnificent, before I had a bad experience with diferente dentist at north Lamar.I found this good place that had good reviews, but they did much better than I thought, they friendly, and they take care of you They fixed my dental now I can smile. 😁

Took my mother for a cleaning, exam and x-rays about a week ago. The entire visit was wonderful starting with Marina at the front desk!She was super nice to my mom and explained everything clearly.Sara, the hygienist was very gentle with my mother and did a wonderful job with her. Mary, the doctors assistant went over the x-rays with my mother and was very sweet to my elderly mother. We met Dr Rajanna toward the end of our visit. She was very down to earth and very kind. Amazing dentist. I had to get a molar extracted, and my previous experience at another dentist for a similar procedure left me traumatized to say the least. Same procedure here on another tooth took less than 5 min to extract. I was given a Valium before and nitrous oxide during. Quick easy painless! I highly recommend DR. K. Very helpful and friendly staff as well!

Visiting our family in Austin I ended up with a dental emergency. With 2 days left in the year, the vast majority of Dentists were either closed for the Holidays or wouldn’t take new patients. Austin Primary Dentist was extremely busy but still gave me an appointment within 24 hours. They treated me like family and tended to my emergency with professionalism, compassion and empathy for my condition. I came in initially with the Groupon deal and they found several cavities. This was not too surprising since I hadnt been able to see a dentist in a while. The dentist was very friendly and explained exactly where the cavities were and how the procedure would work. The staff was very helpful in getting me set-up with financial assistance to afford the fillings. I will definitely continue to use them.

On the Friday following Christmas I experienced a bit of an emergency. While attempting to string my long bow (archery) the stringer slipped and the long bow smashed me in the mouth knocking out a front tooth. This was around 3:30 PM. I called Dr. Rajannas office and was sitting in their office by 5:00 PM. Keep in mind this is the Friday after Christmas. Also, they usually close at 5:00. Dr. Rajanna and her amazing staff stayed late two hours to extract my tooth, give me a temporary cosmetic solution, and plan my long term dental plan. They made me feel better about my unfortunate event, and not once did I sense they were disappointed they werent home yet. Ive spent a lot of time in a variety of dentist offices, and this hands down is the best. I cannot recommend this practice enough.Thanks!!!Jett

Dr. Rupa is very kind. The staff is polite and helpful.

I hadnt been to a dentist in a while so I was expecting the worst but I was pleasantly surprised. The entire staff was polite, helpful and knowledgable. From the time I walked in the door it took about 10 minutes to start with the hygienist and that includes filling out paperwork. Once she started working she was very good about explaining and showing me (They had a flat screen right above my chair so I could see all the X-rays/pictures of my teeth as she was working) what she was doing. Once the cleaning and examination was done Dr. Kyatam explained the work that needed to be done and why, as well as what caused it and how to prevent problems in the future.All and all it took a little less than an hour from start to finish (For X-rays cleaning and an examination), and the receptionist took care of everything with my insurance company so I really didnt have to do anything but show up.

My experience at Dr. Kyatam office has been nothing but fantastic. Everyone there has been very friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgable and inform you of what needs to get done. They have been very easy as far as scheduling goes and will continue to get my business.

Came in with a Groupon a couple weeks ago, good for a cleaning and xrays. I was very interested in my mouth situation cause I hadnt been to the dentist in years!Sara was my hygeniest. She was courteous and spent time educating me on dental health- much appreciated. I followed her advice on getting a nice brand mouth wash which I use now.I win again! Still never have had any cavities despite owning a snow cone truck.Never been much for flossing tho and I didnt floss tonight!Nice people though, go see them.

Wonderful friendly people who make scary dental work way less scary!

They are very punctual. In the 6 years I have been going there, I have only waited once or twice to be taken back for my appt. The hygenist, Sara, and Dr. Kyatam are always so nice and gentle. They deal with me and my overly sensitive gums so well. I dont even have to ask for topical anymore, they just automatically do it, and never charge me extra.One year, I was going to have a procedure done, and was prepared to pay out of pocket, bc it was already rejected by my insurance. I already paid, but they wanted to resubmit it again, just in case. And guess what?! They were able to get my insurance to pay for it! They ended up giving me BACK money that I had already paid! They did not have to do that! I so appreciated them for taking the extra time and saving mehundreds of dollars.I very strongly recommend this team of professionals for any dental needs.
