In March of 2014, I had severe tooth pain and Dr. Arzegar examined me and told me that I needed a root canal on two teeth. After undergoing antibiotic treatment, I had my root canal and was fitted with temporary caps. During the cap fitting, Dr. Arzegar told me that I should start saving for a dental implant on the back root canal as, “We don’t know how long this one will last.” I have known other people with root canals and caps. They are fairly permanent fixtures. Also, had he told me this before the procedure, I would have opted to do an extraction and implant right away rather than have a root canal. Despite this irritating fact, I was overall satisfied with the service I had received as I was no longer in such immense pain.In May 2014, I went back to receive my permanent caps. The dental assistant tried placing them before Dr. Arzegar came over but seemed to have a bit of trouble with it. Once the doctor came by, he made them fit.As soon as I was able to close my mouth, I absolutely knew something was not right. I tried telling them so at that time. They assured me it would just take some getting used to and secured them permanently anyway. After sitting with them for a moment and looking at them in my reverse camera phone, I protested again. I told them I knew it sounded crazy and that I understood that the crowns could only fit one way over my existing teeth, but I was absolutely positive that they were on backwards. They talked about sanding them down so they would feel less bulky but made sure I knew that if they did that and the crown broke that I would be responsible for paying for new ones. I told them that sanding it down wouldnt fix the problem. As it was theyre too short on the outside as evidenced in the photos I took directly after leaving the office. They then started to insist that the teeth were designed that way to correct my “crossbite malocclusion.” This makes no sense seeing as how the lab was to make my crowns based solely from the provided molds. I have bitten my tongue several times since then, on a couple of occasions, so badly that it bled and stayed swollen for a couple of days.At this point I gave up on trying to get further consultation from this dentist and set out getting a second opinion where they took a set of professional pictures as well as a set of fresh x-rays. He informed me that I was 100% correct and that my crowns were completely wrong.I then sent a certified letter to Dr. Arzegar. They offered to replace the crowns, but since they had thrown out my old molds, they would be replacing the incorrect one with another incorrect duplicate. I would have ended up in the same position I was already in. I then tried reaching out to lawyers in attempt to receive some remedy, but by the time I was able to find a pro bono law firm that was willing to help me with this issue, the statute of limitations had lapsed.I have since been forced to undergo the process of dental implantation for both teeth. A lengthy, uncomfortable, and expensive process. The oral surgeon who is facilitating the procedure also gave the opinion that the crowns were backwards. So now my only course of action is to report Dr. Arzegar everywhere I can in hopes that this does not happen to another patient.

They have stable staff members who remember you name and treat you warmly as a human being. I very much appreciate the customer service and feel that I am in a safe space with this dentist office.

This was honestly the best and most thorough experience Ive had at any dentist office. The front office staff is very welcoming and efficient. The hygienist Madison was very kind and skilled and so was Dr. Arzegar, he really made sure I understood the exam findings and treatment plan. I will definitely recommend them to any friends/family in Austin!

Being unemployed and uninsured, I came across an ad for new patients to get a check up, cleaning and x-rays for $99 at Lifetime Smiles. Desperate for some professional care, I got an appointment the next day. The hygienist did a fabulous job and all equipment was very high tech. Dentist was smart and educated me on some things Id never been told that will help me get my teeth healthier and since I have no extra money, they told me about ACC dental hygiene school which has supervised students that will work on your teeth when they are back in August. UT has a dental school in San Antonio as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Arzegar was able to see my daughter the day after she had unexpectedly broken a tooth. I really appreciated him making time in his schedule for this emergency. He had previously done work on another of my childrens teeth and done a beautiful job. This time it turned out equally well - the tooth looks amazing. His bedside manner was super friendly and informative, and my daughter, who is 10, seemed comfortable the entire time. The staff was very friendly and competent. My experience at Lifetime Smiles was overwhelming to say the least. I had not been the dentist in years, naturally I was not expecting good news. I went to the dentist because I needed help and wanted to develop better dental hygiene. Expecting guidance from this office I was met with judgement from the hygienist. This judgement made it very uncomfortable and difficult to focus on what needed to be taken care with my dental health. It felt that they were using scare tactics to try and lure me in to all of these treatments. Completely unprofessional. And they charged a co pay for services that were coveted at 100% by my insurance.

I highly recommend this dental office.I had an appointment at Dr Arzegar’s office this week. The dentist took time to point out my dental issues on X-ray and, also, on a mouth photo. He set up a plan of action to address my cracked tooth and an old bridge that needs to be changed. The dentist was patient with my questions and, was also willing to re-explain everything to my wife.I also had a good experience with the friendly office front desk.I had a great dental cleaning with Alicia.I look forward to my return visit to this office.

Since that time, Dr. A has worked very hard to rectify the mistakes made by others. Absolutely Amazing!

I went to a new dental provider for new pt exam & cleaning I previously had work done from Dr. Arzegar 3 crowns. I was told I would need to have them done again if decay starts to form 2 out of 3 were not capped completely. Crowns are not cheap, make sure they take an x-ray after having your permanent put in.

They are great! Ashley was awesome at getting my teeth clean and making sure I was comfortable during my hour gum cleaning. She also gave me tips on how to help the sore gums which was great. They also nicely answered all of my questions and explained everything to me which I really enjoyed.

I am not an easy patient and have past trauma from some procedures at other dental offices. At Lifetime Smiles they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The technology is amazing and everything is explained to me and shown in pictures and xrays. Dr. Arzegar always calls and checks on me when I have had work done to make sure I am ok. I found my way to Lifetime Smiles when I was in pain over a weekend and I had not been to the dentist in years. I was not a patient yet but I filled out a form on their website about my issue and I actually got a call from Dr. Arzegar over the weekend and he told me to come in first thing on Monday. I know I am in good hands here and that they really care. They are now stuck with me and we are working to get my teeth as good as we can get them.

Dr. Arzegar is the best. I first came to him two years ago when I had a dental emergency while visiting family from another state and preparing to leave the country with them on vacation. He made sure he took care of my problem and and after we returned home he came in early one morning to do a follow-up exam before I went to the airport to return home. Since that time hes been my dentist and I have moved to the Austin area. He and his staff are very friendly and he is extremely conscientious. I would recommend no one else in the area to be your dentist.

Had an emergency issue come up with a cracked tooth on Thursday evening. Called Lifetime Smiles after hours and quickly received a call back from the doctor who agreed to see me first thing the next morning. Had to remove the tooth but all things considered the whole process was great. They were comforting and explained everything to me as we went along and the recovery has been smooth sailing. Would definitely recommend!

Very welcoming and friendly front desk staff. The hygienist was fantastic and explained each procedure. She also gave supportive coaching on how to maintain optimal dental health. The dentist was also helpful and gave genuine recommendations for additional services as prevention but didnt hard sell on unneeded services.

What can I say... Welcoming service as soon as you walk in. The DA Amanda was very nice and comforting with all my questions during my x ray. Melinda my hygienist was so caring and attentive, always making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I have had three appointments this year and every one was an extremely positive experience. The best dentists office I have ever gone to. The doctor makes you feel it easy and takes his time ensuring that you are always comfortable and absolutely pain free. Some dentists are butchers and some even seem to enjoy jamming that huge needle into your face this doctor is very different. He has a three step procedure starting off with a numbing gel that makes absolutely sure you feel no pain from beginning to end. I have recently moved to Texas from New York City and his office is as beautiful as any office in Manhattan.

The hygienists here are lovely and gentle while being thorough during a cleaning. The issue I have is with the office practices of constant up-selling and using scare tactics. My whole family went to this practice for over a year (2 years ago) and for 3/4 of us, Dr. A recommended expensive work and mouth guards.Without getting a second opinion, we went through with getting the stainless steel caps for my eldest (7yo at the time) and it was an awful experience. My child is autistic and trans. The doctor refused to use the correct pronouns and didnt even know our names when he walked into the procedure room. Ahead of time, he promised to stop whenever there was discomfort or questions or a need for a break, but then during the procedure he seemed rushed, he was dismissive of our concerns (continuing while my kiddo cried in pain), and he was rude and short with the hygienist. Needless to say, this experience served only to worsen my childs anxiety about medical/dental appointments which has had lasting effects.After going to Lifetime Smiles, my family has seen two other dentists in the area and both have noted our familys excellent dental health while also commenting on the unnecessarily aggressive treatment of my eldest childs cavities. I truly believe this doctor saw an opportunity to make extra money and jumped on itI see also that the offices name has now changed to specify cosmetic dentistry, and I think that more accurately conveys the mission of this practice and Dr. A specifically.

Always great to come here. I am usually very anxious and apprehensive about seeing a dentist, but Dr Arzegar is awesome and compassionate, and your anxiety seems to cease with him. He is very organized, and explains everything, leaving no room for the unknown. Along with him, is an incredible staff. I really can’t think of anything negative to say about the place. This comment may sound cliche, but I’m speaking from the heart, and am currently a patient for them.

I recently had a visit to this office for a cleaning and I loved the practice. Aside from the office being super modern and up-to-date, the doctor was outstanding at explaining my treatment in a way that made sense. He showed me pictures of my teeth and what I need to do to correct them. He looked so confident and very knowledgeable and that exactly what I was looking for. I have had a good deal of dental work done here including fillings and invisalign. Dr. A is a wizard with your teeth. He is passionate about what he does and will not rest until you get the teeth you want. His assistants are all very welcoming and talented, especially Brooke who I enjoy lengthy conversations with.

While I found an appointment somewhere else, the doctor still returned my call when the office opened and that to me is a wonderful sign of professionalism. I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance and let them know exactly what I needed done. When it came time for my cleaning and the additional work I requested, I was told that none of the additional work could be done on the day of my appointment even though I conversed with the office staff about what I wanted/needed prior to coming in and the cleaning wasnt performed well by the hygienist at all. To top it off they printed out this astronomical bill for the work that had to be done and tried to charge my card for work that hadnt even been completed. I can understand charging the day of service but to attempt to run my card weeks in advance for unperformed work left a bad taste in my mouth. I ended up going elsewhere paying WAYYYY less for quality work and great service. Needless to say, I wont be returning to Lifetime Smiles.

I was welcomed with a inviting atmosphere and friendly smiles. The place smells good, its clean and well put together. I was able to watch T.V. on the ceiling while getting my teeth cleaned. Christina was the girl cleaning my teeth and she did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and didnt rush or hurry to get to the another patient. There was a little boy after me and everyone was so sweet and kind with him. Dr. Azegar did a great job of explaining the treatment plan options and I didnt feel hustled. I absolutely hate going to the dentist because Ive never had a good experience anywhere I went. So after a few years I decided to give it a try again and went to Lifetime Smiles, and OMG that was the best experience in my life! Everyone in that office was super nice! The doctor made me feel like Ive known him forever so is everybody else! I had to get 2 crowns done and in the process of having a temp one I had to call the office twice because I lost my temp crown and I was seen right away to fix this problem! Also one of my front teeth was slightly longer then the other front tooth and Dr.fixed it for me at no charge! That was a very nice surprise!My whole treatment was a bit pricey (only because I dont have insurance), however, its totally worth it because you dont get that kind of service anywhere else! Definitely recommend!Oh, and 6 months later my crowns are perfect! I had ZERO issues!

Fantastic experience, theyve put a lot of thought into the design of their offices, the staff are friendly, efficient, and great with kids. I brought my 5 year old daughter in, changing dentists after some less than satisfactory experiences, and was very impressed. After the appointment, getting to sit down and talk to Dr Arzegar personally about what needed to be done was very nice, especially considering the much more clinical, hustle the customer out the door feeling Ive taken away from some other local dentists.

Lifetime Smiles is the best! My son had an trauma accident one evening. I searched for emergency dental offices and Lifetime Smiles popped up. Dr. Arzegar gave me a call back after I left a frantic voicemail. He came in after hours with his assistant Brooke and they took awesome care of my son. The next week we went in for a follow up appointment, during business hours, and we were greeted with a smile at the front desk by Christa. Great staff that always greets with a smile. Dr. Arzegar is very informative and always clearly explains options and preventative measures. Can typically get an appointment within a week. Big thanks to all the staff there - hi Tina!Only reason for 4 stars was on one occasion I had to return for a few “failed attempts” for a night guard fitting which needs to be sent off for prosuction. Some wasted time, but they were very accommodating.

Ive been going to Lifetime Smiles for almost 2 years now for various surgeries and cleanings, but most recently for straightening out my smile with Invisalign. I had been told by other orthodontists that I wouldnt qualify for Invisalign due to the state of my teeth, but these guys made it happen! A short 8 months later I finally have the smile Ive always wanted. Not only that, The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even recognized my car when I pulled up and would have me checked in by the time I waked in the door! I will definitely be continuing to go to Lifetime Smiles for my cleanings and such for a good time to come!

Absolutely loved this place. Everybody was very good at thier job and super friendly. The doctor actually listened to me and answered my questions. My whole visit was quick and easy. Very highly reccommended!

The best dentist I have ever been to! I had a horrible experience with a previous dentist and was ready to find a regular doctor who actually cared about me as a person; then, I found Dr. Arzegar and his team. They are genuine, gentle and reasonably priced. I have never had the desire to go to a dental appointment, but now, I cant wait to go back!

We love Lifetime Smiles as a family! Dr. Arzegar is the BEST. He is very professional and takes time to explain things before, during and after any procedure. I love that the Staff is prompt in sending out reminders and follow-ups. They really do care a lot about their patients. Tina Arimendez has also been fantastic. She takes care of me every time Im there. I love how everyone makes me feel welcomed and I cant see myself going anywhere else. Im moving to Houston in two weeks and I plan on driving down to Austin to get the rest of my treatment plan completed by Dr. Arzegar. I love you guys!

I used to have an aversion to the dentist, but now I don’t feel that way anymore. First of all, the staff is amazing. Dr. A’s crew, (especially Brooke, Christa and Rocio,) really knows their stuff. I feel very comfortable around them and they make me feel like they actually care about me and my well-being. Dr. Arzegar is so knowledgeable and really know how to break things down into laymen’s terms. I’ve spent a lot of time in that office this year because I’ve waited 16 years to come back to a dentist and do some real work that wasn’t considered emergency... so I’ve gotten to know them well. I highly recommend this office to anyone!

This is a very unethical and expensive dental practice. I went because I received a cleaning as a gift. After a quick X-Ray, Dr. Arzegar and his hygienist used scare tactics about my potentially deadly periodontal gum disease (which I dont have) to convince me to have an unnecessary and expensive treatment ($1600 for the first round!).I left in total shock to get a second opinion. Two other dentists examined me and agreed that all I needed was a good cleaning, which Dr. Arzegar insisted that he couldnt do until I had the expensive treatment.I feel that I was diagnosed with periodontal disease just so they wouldnt have to do the cleaning. Its possible that by diagnosing everyone who comes in for a cleaning to get the treatment that theyll make more than by doing the cleaning (which again, they refuse to do until you have the treatment).Please skip this incredibly unethical and expensive dentist.

I trust Dr. Arzegar and the staff at Lifetime Smiles to always give me professional advice and impeccable dental care. Dr. Arzegar carefully explains what my dental issues are after doing a thorough and painstaking examination, including X-rays, and his own hands on exam. He reviews my options with me and lets me make the ultimate decision as to what treatment plan I want to pursue. He pulls no punches and tells me straight what my likely results will be, as to a particular course of treatment, regardless of the benefit to him. I know where I stand with Dr. Arzegar and the staff is extremely polite and respectful each time I visit the Lifetime Smiles office. Lifetime Smiles does right by me.
