The staff here is excellent and welcoming. Everyone is very knowledgeable and personable and they don’t push you to get any services done that are not necessary, they merely make suggestions and make you feel comfortable with whatever decision you make. There is even a TV on the ceiling that you can watch while getting a cleaning or work done! (Sometimes conversation with the hygienist is even better than watching TV though) I’d recommend ATX dental to anyone moving to Austin and in search of a great dentist.

Appointment was at 5 they saw me at 5:08 and apologized for making me wait. Lol 8 minutes is not a wait at all. The waiting room abs office was nice and modern feeling. The hygienist and dentist explained everything and listened to my concerns. Hygienist was gentle and made the experience the least painful dental cleaning Ive ever had. Great place would definently recommend.

They were fantastic, as always! Super efficient and friendly. Great setup with Tvs on the ceiling and headphones so you can watch a show while you are worked on.My girlfriend has pretty strong white coat syndrome and she loves this place, as they genuinely want to make sure you understand what the procedure is and that you are comfortable.If you have kids, or have just had terrible experiences at prior dentists, ATX is a wonderful choice to make sure things go smoothly.

I loved my experience at ATX Family Dental and will recommend to my friends and family. I felt like my concerns were addressed and I was properly taken care of. After a bad protein bar destroyed one of my back teeth, I had a emergency situation and was looking for help. ATX family dental not only moved things around to find a same-day appointment, they were helpful, kind and sensitive to the issues I was dealing with. We all worry about money especially when it comes to dentistry. They took care of my pain and issues first and worried about money later, helping to draft an affordable payment plan we could both agree on. I plan on going here for all my dental needs in the future. Would highly recommend.Update: Having gone back and getting my permanent crown, Dr. Adams work is spectacular. The crown fits wonderfully and Im eating burgers again. He even followed up personally asking if anything could have been improved. I say none. We moved last year from south Austin to Pflugerville and we knew we were not changing the kids dentist. These folks are amazing and are worth the drive. I had a very pleasant experience at ATX Family Dental. I was having a hard time getting into any dentist around Austin due to them being backed up and ATX was able to get me in right away to check on my cavity. I hadnt been to the dentist in quite some time so I was nervous about going in, but I got nothing but smiles and comforting words from the women who work here. The offices are also very clean the waiting room is comfortable. They have TVs on the ceiling and offer Netflix as youre getting a filling! I will definitely be using this office as my main dentist and highly recommend it to anyone in the Austin area!

The tooth jiggler really reduced the anxiety from getting a shot pre-procedure. The visits are always incredibly efficient too!

This is my new favorite dentist! I moved to the area recently and I had a molar chip when I was flossing. They were able to get me in first thing the next morning and took the x-rays and everything super fast. I had a great experience with Dr Adam and his team. The atmosphere is friendly but professional. I was initially surprised that my first new patient appointment would be so long--two hours--but the dentist and hygienist were very thorough and comprehensive so it made sense why they needed so much time.I ended up having a small cavity in one of my molars but the hygienist had spotted it first and warned me that it might be the case which eased the news when Dr Adam confirmed it. When i returned for the filling (which admittedly no one looks forward to) Dr Adam and his assistant made the process feel straight forward and easy. I havent thought about the tooth since.Added bonus: there are TVs on the ceiling!

Weve loved Dr. Adam and his staff since our first visit 3 years ago. We picked his practice because we lived South and it was convenient for us. Since then, weve moved North, but we still go to ATX Family Dental because theyve been absolutely amazing. They are all incredibly warm and friendly, Dr. Adam has a great bedside manner and sense of humor, and weve always had appointments start and end on time. The clinic is easy to get to, always impeccable, and they have great music and TVs on the ceiling above the chair to keep your mind off the drills. Scheduling is a breeze and I love the text and email reminders I get from them. Ive (luckily) never had anything major done, but I like that Dr. Adam and his staff stick to non-invasive treatments and they are thorough when explaining the course of treatment, costs, and any alternatives. My most recent visit was my first time for a checkup after having a baby, and I appreciated how nice and accommodating everyone was. At one point, Victoria, Dr. Adams wife popped in to chat with my baby as she was about to break into a meltdown. Because of Victoria , the meltdown was averted and I was able to complete my check up without a major hitch. Little things like that are what distinguish this as a family practice and one of the many reasons we keep coming to ATX Family Dental. I highly recommend Dr. Adam and his team!

Because of the Covid pandemic, I had been putting off my dental appointments - until I couldnt! Severe pain in my lower jaw convinced me I needed to see a dentist. We recently moved back to South Austin and I turned to Yelp to help me find a GOOD dentist. And in case you dont want to read the WHOLE review, ATX Family Dental is AWESOME!!ATX Family Dental had such glowing reviews, I called them as soon as they opened on Monday. They were able to squeeze me in that afternoon. BTW, they have staggered hours (10 am - 7 pm on M_T, and 7 am - They have phone/text check in to limit contact. I arrived early and texted then waited in my car until they texted me to come in. Masks are required and my temperature was taken before I completed a form and was directed to the small, but out-of-the-flow-of-patients waiting room.Sandy, my dental tech, came to get me right on time (I was amazed since the appointment was so late in the day and expected them to be behind schedule). She took me back to a comfortable exam room, took my blood pressure and then Xrays using a handheld models Id never seen before. Dr. Sydney came in thereafter and checked the xrays and photos then examined the tooth and talked with me about my past experiences and history. (She was the first medical person to ever tell me that families of redheads often had different tolerances and responses to analgesics!)They presented me with three plans: 1- go home with antibiotics for the infection they found under a crowned molar and see if that alone helped; 2 - get a root canal through the crown, then replace the crown (to be done by Dr. Paul in a few days); or 3 - extract the tooth and decide on getting a bridge or implant later. Dr. S said she could remove the tooth immediately, if that was my choice, and that was my decision, despite being very apprehensive.Long story short, after using several types of analgesic, they were finally able to deaden the area and remove the tooth (not fun, but not nearly as painful as previous tooth issues have been).Everyone in the office was friendly and respectful and a total pleasure to work with! I HIGHLY recommend this dental office!!!

I love ATX Family Dental. My job recently had a mobile dentist come that provides routine cleanings on the companys dime and I didnt do it so I could still come here. Dr. Adam is really personable and will actually give you good information for any questions you have. Usually my hygienist is Polli, who I love, but on my most recent visit I got Haley, who I also loved. Great personality, care and attentiveness for both of them. They also have modern equipment and a stylish and clean facility. Definitely recommend coming here.

Looking for a new dentist in the area, I thought ATX Family Dental would be a great spot! Turns out they are extremely unresponsive, unorganized, and flat out dismissive. I tried to make a first time appointment on several occasions only to be ignored or ghosted. It might be great once youre there but I wouldnt know since I never got a call, email or text back. Dont recommend for new patients!

This is by far the most friendly, kind and helpful dentist I have ever been to. My wisdom teeth were all coming in and they booked me an appointment for the next day, when other dentist I called wanted to book me weeks out. My appointment was swift, informative, and everyone made me feel very safe with the extra COVID precautions being implemented. They referred me to a great oral surgeon for my surgery as well. Not only is the office cute as can be, the music is great and the workers are all very nice and patient. I even had an emergency over 4th of July weekend (when they are closed) and I was reached out to personally by my doctor.Fantastic in every aspect- highly recommended. He is a former elementary school teacher and you can tell! The experience was so seamless I ended up signing up for their wellness plan which provides 2 cleanings and exams annually, as well as discounts on any other services. Best dental experience ever. The dentist I just left was always advising procedures that would have cost $400-$500 out of pocket cost. ATX Family Dental took one look at my teeth and told me what was advised and what was not taking that $400-$500 out of pocket cost down to $68!!! Not to mention the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the office is clean, inviting and comfortable. I’ve definitely found my forever dentist!

I am new to Austin and have had no prior issues with my teeth until just before my 30th birthday. ATX Family Dental informed me I had a cavity and my sealants were old/worn down. I made an appointment to fill the cavity and redo the sealants, but during that visit, the assistant did not read my chart or know what was going on with my care. She wanted to place the new sealants over the old which was the reason that I made a special appointment for the dentist to remove the old sealants, so I had to ask her to read my chart and advocate for the care plan that I was told I would receive. I have been diligent about going to the dentist twice a year and am consistent with brushing and flossing. This appointment was new territory for me and the lack of knowledge of the assistant was really concerning, so I wont be going back. The office staff has been courteous as well as Dr. Adam.
