Im extremely happy with Erics work. The plastic housing on my laptop that connects my keyboard to the screen was severely broken to the point where I could no longer shut my laptop without hearing crunching noises. I called Eric (who had fixed a similar issue on my husbands laptop years ago.) He picked up my laptop from the house, which was incredibly convenient, and gave me an estimate of when it would be ready. It was ready exactly when he said it would be and he brought it by the house (again, incredibly convenient.) The laptop looked brand new. He said this particular fix turned out better than most due to the thickness of my particular laptop, and I have to agree. It looks like it just came out of the factory. He also cleaned the whole exterior and pulled the dog hair out of the inside (!) Its working super smoothly and looks like a million bucks. He also walked me through a couple of fixes I could do on my own over text. I couldnt be happier. Hes a great tech!

Eric was awesome! He kept me informed on the status of my repairs. The mail was taking forever with a part and he gave me the tracking number so I could see it too. Totally transparent. The person I spoke to was professional and honest. I didnt get service because my computer was beyond their help. The fact that he was honest with me in telling me that my issue could not be fixed was enough for me to leave five stars and come back the next time I have an issue that can be fixed.

What a great experience! I was referred to Eric when I had problems with my Lenovo Yoga. He was generous with his time and fixed the problem. He definitely knows computers! Id recommend him in a heartbeat. Besides, hes a very nice young man.

I had a screw missing on the outside of my laptop, so I called ahead and was able to immediately take it over for a repair. He had a screw ready and immediately repaired it for me, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Super professional, friendly, and capable service.

Just brought my desktop in yesterday to fix a display problem. Eric, the owner, is super friendly and super knowledgeable. I had visited him about a year ago to recover lost data on my laptop and had a wonderful experience back then too so decided to come back when my desktop had problems. Since I had a quick fix he was able to fix my problem while the previous customer was rebooting her computer. Very reasonable pricing and excellent customer service. As another reviewer mentioned and I mentioned to Eric as well he has accumulated more stuff since I last visited but dont let that deter you. I really like this place, i really do. I came in during closing hour with a failed laptop, a midterm paper due in two days, and a mentally compromised mind...I was doomed. Eric is very helpful if you are looking for information on something or just getting help with your computer he gave me great advice on what video card i should get and where i could get it from because he didnt have it in his store but he was extremely helpful and im glad he runs the store. This place is the best! I had an external hard drive fail on me with over 400GB of family pictures on it!!! I had tried a few places and the quoted prices were ridiculous. Eric gave me a fair price. He worked at for a few days, giving me updates along the way. My lap top crashed the day before my vacation. I knew I needed a new lap top but kept putting it off. This time the thing didnt even turn on. My OS was not launching anymore. I needed help ASAP to do my billing. I called everyone and no one could help the same day. I stumbled across Eric on Parmer lane and gave him a call around 1:30 pm, he answered and told me to bring it.By 2:30, I was out the door with a used lap top I purchased from him and my program and all the data transferred over. Save! He only charged for the used lap top, I would have paid 3xs that. Eric you rock!

My USB was stuck in place, this guy was nice enough to break it open and gave it back to me for free! Now it wasnt too big a chore for him, and it didnt take long, so he was being generous with not charging me, but still the point is hes a very nice guy and he saved my files.

I downloaded and installed a new browser and found that my laptop only gave me my screen saver when I tried it, no toolbar, no mouse, no nothing. Yikes! I manually turned my computer off and on several times and got the same thing. My (laptop) life flashed before my eyes. OMG, what have I done?I immediately took it to Emax Computers on Parmer. Id never been there before, but had made a mental note of their shop in case I ever needed them. Eric took a look at it and had it up and running within minutes. Brought in my computer on a Friday morning, had it fixed the next day (thats right, a Saturday) around 1. He had an idea that it was either bad RAM or a bad motherboard, but still ran a diagnostic test to be safe. Since he didnt find anything, he only charged me half for the diagnostic! He even installed my new RAM for free! Through hearing him talk to other customers, he is extremely good at getting things done on the cheap wherever possible, and really knows where customers should put their money. He is very kind and incredibly reasonable, and I will be sure to call him again if I run into any other issues. I think Ive found my go-to computer guy!

This place was great. The front room is a bit messy, and could use some organizational skills, but the value of service definitely makes up for it. I took my computer in because one of my hardives was failing and I suspected I had a virus. I’m not a very tech savvy kind of person so instead of trying to figure it out my self, I took it to this place. He went over my computer with me and explained how he was going to fix it. When I came back to pick up my computer, he went above and beyond what he said he was going to do and not only fixed my hard drive and downloaded antivirus software but also managed to free up 43 GB worth of space on it. Then he also secured down serval hardware components in my computer since they where loose. The he also fixed a heating problem that I had in my computer as well as fixed a problem with my fans being to loud. Now my computer works great with no problems that I previously had.

The owner of the stores very knowledgeable well spoken and nice. They have a solution for any computer problem you might have. Plus they have a Bitcoin ATM they can convert your crypto to other crypto also a plus.

Ive purchased 2 computers from Emax and Ive taken one computer in for repair. Eric was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The timeframes were fulfilled as promised and the prices are comparable. This is the only place Ill go for computer repair in the future!

My efforts at trying to configure my newly upgrade computer (to Windows 10) to remove the login requirement failed spectacularly. I did a factory reset (as suggested by many friends), only to be met by a blue screen that told me I had an inaccessible boot device. My computer was in a constant state of restart.Enter Eric. Very friendly. Listened patiently as I explained my goof and said I could drop the computer off any time and hed take a look at it. His guess was a bad hard drive. When we picked the computer up, Eric explained that it wasnt the hard drive and that Windows just needed to be reinstalled (properly I would imagine). He put Windows 7 (yay!) back on the computer, and we were up and running!My husband dealt with Eric, but he mentioned that he was reasonable, honest, and so nice. I work remotely for a very small company with limited resources, and my computer suddenly wouldnt go on the internet! Everything I tried came back with the same result - the computer wasnt connected to the internet (everything else was working; I even plugged it into where my home computer was working - bubkis).
