PLEASE READ!! DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT let this man overcharge you!! Make sure your vehicle is correctly working before paying him. He shorted my battery and broke my belt. He refused to replace it even after I bought new parts. I been with his schedule. He was never on time and does not put back your car the way it was before. Bad service would not recommend to no one. I am taking him to court for the debt he has put me in.

Went way out of his way to replace a fuel pump in my 1996 Subaru. He is really great, knows his stuff and will be careful with your vehicle. He even brought me food because I had been stuck in my car so long

Just filed a police report for my vehicle as stolen and a police escort to attempt to retrieve it. they stopped communicating/ignore texts/calls. It’s been nearly 2 months and only needed to replace a crank shaft sensor with the part already provided. I prepaid for the repairs so it’s not a money issue. They stopped contacting me after they got my money and keys. I have receipts of all communication and them ignoring me. I didn’t harass them, I gave them plenty of opportunities to respond. They didn’t message or call me once. Not once. I had to reach out to them every single time. If this review doesn’t steer you away from them. Good luck and be careful.

We were stuck on the side of the highway and this man was a literal savior. He pulled over after seeing us and helped us get back on the road within minutes. So grateful to know I can call if Im ever in the same situation.

My car needed the front struts replaced. I shopped around several places for quotes. Most places charged double what the parts actually cost and either wouldnt let me purchase my own parts or charged an extra fee for me to do so. When I called 512 Mobile Mechanic, I told them what I needed and let them know I had already purchased the parts on Rock Auto. They quoted me labor that was $100 less than the next lowest bid. And, the owner showed up at my house a few hours later to perform the job. It was quick, easy, and reasonably priced. And, my car has been running perfectly for 2 weeks (no bouncing like before the strut replacement). Plus I give them bonus points because I love to support small/family businesses. A++

Chris did a very great job letting me know everything that could possibly be wrong with my car. He performed an alternator replacement and quick, better than having to leave your car in the shop for days to get fixed. The whole staff is very kind and will work with you on a budget, I am so grateful.

Called these guys to set up an appointment and after some back and forth through text messaging and on the phone, we agreed on a 5pm meeting, that was yesterday and they never showed. No call to cancel or anything else. They also prefer cash app as payment. A bit bummed as it would have been an easy call for these guys to remove some bushings. Do not recommend.

Best and the only mobile mechanic you should use in Austin. He’s so busy but will always take care of you and his fair prices reflect his hinsestly. I called two other “mobile mechanics” that came out and made me pay them $100 to diagnose me a complete rip off, I could have got it done at a shop for the prices they quoted me, I called 512 mobile mechanic and he helped me out during the snow crisis !!! Sold , honest mechanic. Only guy I will let work on my company vehicles so long as he is willing. Do your self a favor and call this guy first. Thanks man I really appreciate what you did for me!! They took my car key 2 days ago for what idk & never returned my calls I NEED MY PROPERTY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I DONT CARE WHAT THEY GOT GOING ON I JUST WANT MY KEY BACK!!!!

Was extremely rude, was never here when they said they would be. Paid 200$ for them to come out look under the hood for 10mins and drain the battery completely. They miss diagnosed the car and messed up the timing, so all in all we were out $600+ And still have no running car. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!Report for what exactly??? Also you never told me that it could not leave Austin you said do what you have to, well that’s not much when the cars tags are over a year expired!!!! Also wouldn’t have gone that far if my 16yr daughter didn’t call me stranded on the side of the road, not sure what kind of parent you are or if you have kids but I will do anything to make sure my babies are safe. And since you filed a report and the cops haven’t gave me a copy could you be so kind to deliver a copy of the report please. You can slide it it the door of the house.

Our left tire locked up while reversing; which we assumed was that our brake pads weren’t placed right. Mainly, because it locked the tire from moving. My bf looked for a nearby shop we could try to move it to. We call 512 mobile mechanic and it turns out he was actually mobile. We didn’t have to move! & thank God we didn’t, because when he got there and inspected our tires it was actually our caliper that was loose! We were 30 minutes away from home and had the risk of crashing! We really appreciate this man’s work! Fast, GREAT WORK, and Reliable!

I called this company this morning to come out and replace a tire on my trailer with a spare that I had.It took them a few hours to get there because they were helping people along the roadside stuck in ice.They were able to jack up my trailer and replace the tire within a few minutes. But the reason for my writing this review is because they went the extra mile and were able to patch my old tire and pull a giant bolt that had been stuck in it.They didnt charge me anything extra for it due to the difficulties of getting out to where I was. So I basically got 45 minutes or so of free labor, that I wasnt requiring them to do but they did it out of kindness.I would highly recommend this company if you are needing roadside assistance especially if you have a flat tire like I had.

Stayed in contact with me, quick repair work, helped me solve other problems with the engine. Would recommend to others.

I couldn’t get my car started in the cold this morning . He came out quickly, got a nearly dead battery to work and to keep cost down I picked up a new battery, refurb alternator( which had gone on last Honda around 140,000 or so) so I knew it was wise to get it put in and he did the oil change with the oil and filter I supplied as well! He is just a nice, smart, knows-his-stuff guy, who will go out of his way to help you when he is crazy busy, like now! Extremely fair labor cost...I know from nearly 400, 000 miles and pretty much same stuff in Midwest, North Carolina, and Texas required on both Hondas that this work with parts would cost far more with an appointment elsewhere and the tow, etc. Thank you so much!

I was stranded in a walmart parking lot with a car that wouldnt start, and this wonderful mechanic was able to fit me in his schedule, come to me, diagnose the issue, and fix it all extremely fast. He fixed my issue and got me home within 2 hours of making the initial phone call, I could not be more satisfied.

I only gave one star because I had to - BEWARE of the mobile mechanic. Very unprofessional and he refused to provide recipients for part purchased (that was used on the vehicle he “fixed” for us).. leading us to believe he didn’t purchase a new part at all. Virtually no communication unless you text or call continuously. And when he doesn’t want to answer questions or deal with his customers, he blocks their numbers. It took him 4 days to do a 2 hour job.. and he didn’t even do that. Lesson learned about searching for mobile mechanics online.. will do a little more research next time, although we ultimately found a local reputable garage to not only fix his mistakes and finish the job, but we will continue to use in the future.

I had problem with my cars lower control arm very late at night it had como early came off the wheel. The owner of the business drove me in his car to go pick up the piece needed and got straight to work on replacing the damaged part. He was able to get the job done the same night so I could drive my car home. He’s a hard worker and will help you fix whatever you need. Also offer very good prices on what you need. If you need any help on your cars I would recommend 10/10.

Unfortunately, as my daughter was driving from UT to Dallas, about 30miles out, her check engine light came on and she began to lose power. By the grace of God, one of the 512 Mobile Mechanics, notice her off on the shoulder, and came to assist. Both Antwone and TJ, were professional, compassionate and reassuring. I drove room Dallas immediately to get my daughter all squared away. Naturally, I was anxious because she is only 18yrs old and has NEVER experienced being stranded, and alone. The mechanic being there eased my anxiety after speaking to him. He did everything to assure me that their intentions were to resolve our issues in the most economical way possible, after assessing the actual cause. Once I arrived, his professionalism continued. It was obvious that he knows his craft, coupled with his compassion, we were blessed that he had the foresight to stop to see if he could be of assistance. Unfortunately, because of the time, he wasnt able to complete the repairs, due to all auto parts stores being closed. However, he did make sure we made it to a neighboring hotel. The next day, we called CarMax for assistance, because shed only had the vehicle for 90days.That being said, although 512 Mobile Mechanic didnt have a chance to repair her vehicle in this instance, I have stored their info for any future repairs. I would recommend them for any and ALL vehicle repairs, both large and small. Thank you Antwone!!! May God continue to bless you as you guys were a life saver!!!

I’m from SA but Needed a mobile mechanic in Austin after my Jeep tj stalled out while driving. I called several places with no availability until days or a week later. He came within the hour and diagnosed the problem. Very professional and just all around honest. He not only fixed the problem but went above and beyond by checking hoses, connections and fluids. Last night I paid AC’s $125 deposit, to look at my car at 10am today. He never showed up. Won’t respond to our texts. So now my car is broke and I’ve lost $125! I’m an out of work hairstylist, during a pandemic where everyone is hurting, and he screwed me. Really great of him. Hope he sleeps good at night. Also, this isn’t a “woman-led” business, like he advertises. I’ve already filed a complaint with Venmo & I’ll be filing a police report also.

I found 512 Mobile Mechanic on Google by chance today and it was the best decision I could have made. ACs service was great! I called and he showed up with KC and they were excellent. They were knowledgeable, informative, and very kind. They got my car running in no time! I will be calling him for my car service needs from now on. Thank you!!!

Yesterday, a late Sunday evening as I was leaving my car wouldnt get out of Reverse trying to get out of Pay Parking Lot. And it was stuck in the middle of the parking lot. I tried calling every tow truck on Google, majority of them did not pick up and one of them said they couldnt do it to the morning. I tried calling a few mobile mechanics and 512 Mobile Mechanic (AC) was the only that responded. We communicated about the problem and he said hell be out there in 9 minutes. When he arrived he checked it out and was able to put it in drive so I can go home to get it the shift cable fixed. He saved me a lot of money in towing and headache since I was passing through Austin on the way to Houston. Thanks AC!

AC did a great professional job on my repair. My SUV tailgate wouldnt lock for months. AC fixed it within 30 minutes and it was just like new!

AC Replaced high performance brakes on my Camaro SS. As a mechanic myself, I breathed down his neck a bit, but realized he knew exactly what he was doing and completed the job in less than 2 hrs. Great guy that knows how to wrench on cars!

Today at 8 in the morning, my car broke down. Battery suddenly started dying so I turned it off, then it wouldnt start up again. I thought it might be a bad battery or alternator. I called up Antwone at 512 Mobile Mechanic and he got back to me instantly. As soon as he finished his job with another client, he drove on over to me and my situation. He inspected my car and found the true issue--dead serpentine belt tensioner and very loose serpentine belt. And he fixed both same day. This guy KNOWS CARS! Hes a car doctor. He took off only the parts needed to access the belt pulleys and smoothly put everything back together afterwards. Hes awesome to talk with as hes working and hes willing to make trips to the auto parts store to get the job done same day. Loved his service and will definitely call on him again. Dont be offset by his prices; he carefully finds out whats actually wrong and fixes core issues, NOT covering issues up. And he has all his tools with him, albeit in what he deems his personal mess. I recommend him 10/10!
