Forgot her name, very pretty young girl, but she did an amazing job. Nails were beautiful and sturdy. My only complaint is the fact I used my card to pay the $65 balance, neglecting the fact the lady and myselfπŸ™„ forgot to take off money I paid for my daughters deposit, which was $20 via cashapp (per her request) the day before. All in all, my kid was satisfied which is hard to do, so I suppose the tip was worth it.

When I first got here I was so excited and the customer service was great. I was offered something to drink and the manager or owner seemed very down to earth. But the nail tech that did my pedicure acted as if she just started. Was very slow and didnt do a good job on my polish. I couldnt get the original color I chose because she said she didnt think it was enough but still kept using it. We eventually just took it off and I chose a different color. I didnt even get to finish my full service because at this time I was just annoyed and ready to go after being there for over an hour. I will not be returning here. I paid$45 and dont feel like I got the service expected.

Please DO NOT WASTE your money at this establishment! I made an appointment for a full set of mink lashes with removal of my prior set. It took Carol (the unprofessional) owner 1 hrs to remove my lashes! She must use cheap products as any person who wears lash extension knows it should take 10-15 minutes to remove lashes. After my lashes were fully removed she told me should could not complete my full set as she has to leave the salon for a mobile appointment. I was forced to leave the salon with bare lashes and return the next day for a full set. I returned the following day and it took her FOUR (4) hrs to complete what was supposed to be a hybrid set! The lashes were extremely thin and sparse. I asked her to fill them in and she agreed and made an appointment for me to return the following week. I came to the shop for the lash revision and she was not present. She called the salon and said she does not feel she should be responsible to fill my lashes because she spent four hours on them. My advice is to go back to lash school and learn how to properly install lashes instead of doing BS work! SAVE YOUR MONEY LADIES!

After searching for a replacement nail tech for several weeks, I found them on Instagram. Their work online looks amazing so i decided to give them a try and it was the best decision ever! This is the worst nail salon in Atlanta i went in for a polish change it took them over an hr to remove my old gel polish. they charged me $20 more for rhinestones on four fingers and the stones didn’t even last three days. the gel they applied is lifting after one week. Literally a waste of money. Go anywhere except here!

I found my new pedicure spot. I think the lady who did my pedicures name was Louise. I came in at around 630pm and was seated immediately. She took her time and shaped my toenails well. Im extremely picky about the shape of my toe nails. I like them square and she did as i requested and was very neat. I will be coming back !

I went in for a full set and within 24 hours two of my nails fell off, I came back to get those fixed and literally the next day two more nails fell off. After I went and got those fixed two more nails broke I called and asked for a refund and was told that I wouldn’t receive one instead I was told to come back for third time just so the nails could break again. In the middle of the conversation the manager hung up on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone for any type of service. Horrible customer service if I could I would give them zero stars

The owner is terrible. I believe she thinks she’s doing the guests a favor by doing their nails. She has a gross attitude. You are the one that’s working for us. She needs a serious reality check. What’s up with the long wait times for service? So many more fabulous black owned places in ATL that will take you on a busy busy day no more than a 30 minute wait. I definitely will never come back. The reviews about her are right save your time and money.

Nails by Jason, pedicure by Miss Blue and eyebrows by Miss Mary. I am highly pleased!! Finding a great nail salon in Atlanta has been very difficult, over charging for so called professional services that look like I did them myself. Well, the search is over! Everyone was very friendly, courteous, and the work was very meticulous. Jason took his time, making sure my nails were perfectly shaped and had very creative ideas when I really didnt know what I wanted. Miss Blue took her time on my pedicure and chose the most perfect color for me! Miss Mary did an exceptional job on my eyebrows. I have never been more pleased and cant wait to return! There are only four techs so if you have to wait trust it will be well worth it.

I understand my nails are already completed so its too late to change them but Im highly disappointed with my nails and even after speaking with the owner/manager she couldnt seem to care any less and told me the nail tech never really get any complaints she didnt care to rectify the situation nor to make sure I left satisfied. She just blew me off pretty much. I asked for stones and was never shown them only was told the owner has the stones. My nails were super thick and didnt follow the natural curve of my nail bed...Im so annoyed. Jason did my nails. If he even liked his work, he would have taken pics of it which he did not. Decided to try this place out after my last salon did a horrible job. Got a pedicure and color change for my gel manicure and my total was like $45, not bad. It felt very much like a girls salon, with lady gossip and laughing and whatnot. I liked the vibe, although not the cleanest looking place in terms of the floor- everything with my nails seemed fresh. Jordyn and Karla did a great job. I’ll probably be back.

Dont use any of their waxing services. Very unprofessional and unsanitary. I could tell the lady had no prior experience. Not only did she get the hot wax in both of nostrils but she also didnt give me any lotion /witch hazel or alcohol after. I had to pick off the wax myself. Secondly she pulled the wax strip off in the wrong direction and no hair was pulled off. She ended up tweezing my whole lip. I couldve did that whole process at home. Wow. Just Wow!! I live in Buckhead so this place is fairly close to where I get my hair done. I just recently moved from Miami and have been to this place 3 times. 1st time upon walking in I did notice that no one smiled or greeted me just looked up and told me it would be an hour wait for a gel. The owner is very very rude and has a serious friggin attitude. She actually chose to tag team another client before just taking me. Nevertheless an hour later the guy working on the back station took me. He was freakin awesome. I liked him so much I went back again. Same owner told me the 2nd time AN HOUR AND A HALF this time. I was quiet and just said ok I will be back. That day I was traveling internationally so I was on a schedule that wouldn’t allow me to wait this time. Moving forward 3rd and last visit a day ago I walk in with a smile. Owner gave me the same vibe just looks up and says β€œAN HOUR AND A HALF we only have 3 people”. I sat down googled a nail shop down the street and just left. What a horrible owner customer service and wait time for a nail shop. I have traveled all around the world and have never seen someone be so dumb with time management for a simple task of nails. No one in there is fast??? Can you hire someone else like girllll you are counting down the days of your going out of business sign if you can’t take customers. Get it together. It’s a nail shop. Not surgery.

I was really excited about trying this shop out. I was blown away at the counter to find out that simple SNS that everyone else charges me $35 for was a VERY HIGH $70. I didnt get a pedicure or even a manicure... nothing but SNS. No jewels or nail art or Chrome. Although the lady that did my nails did a decent job on simple nude nails... I cant justify returning. It is too high.

Something you have demonstrated you dont have for customers who support your business! WHEN I CALLED YOU TO INFORM YOU I WAS RUNNING LATE, I ADVISED MY ARRIVAL TIME, AND MADE SURE IT WAS OKAY FOR YOU.... YOU SAID IT WAS OKAY AND YOU SET AN EXPECTATION (NOT ONCE DID YOU SAY IT WAS AN ESTIMATE OR THAT YOU MAY TAKE LONGER) and you DID NOT meet your own expectation. Had you communicated effectively and set an accurate expectation, I wouldnt have had to rush! I find it funny that you remember so much now but couldnt remember a 1p appointment from the night prior. Yet that was the lame excuse you gave your daughter to give me... But since your memory has returned now that there is a review on your shop, who did you offer to return after leaving 10 mins prior to a 1 pm appointment that you set?! Certainly wasnt me, b/c I didnt get so much as an apology from you until now! There were patrons that checked out during my service, how many did you stop my service to check out? NONE... Your other techs checked out their customers. That’s why you hired help in the first place! How many appointments did you make during my service?... I’ll wait... Carol, its called taking ownership, ethics, professionalism, and good business practice! Lets talk about the patron in your shop since you asked me about her in your google response. The older white woman I am referring to wore black sweat pants and with shoulder length salt and pepper hair... During my service on March 28, 2018 Carol, you asked your colleague if she remembered the customer (aka supporter of your business)...By the way, I didnt have to be present at the customers prior visit... The point is, I heard what you said about the customer from her prior visit!... Carol you said she was the one that made a comment about your breast and you said you suspect she was high and you said it in a low tone so that the customer couldnt hear you... So now correct me if Im wrong, but is that not gossiping?! If not, what do you call it? Lets see if you will be dishonest and say you didnt say that... You also leaned over to whisper to your colleague. Stopping your service on my nails to do so... If she were a fun client and everything was in good fun.... Carol, why didnt you say what you said in front of me to her face when she was called over to get her nails done? Oh and unless you wear glasses, I find it hard to believe you didnt see me as I walked out of your shop. You looked square at me as I opened the door to leave and you turned around. But if you want to maintain you were not avoiding me, fine. I am a paying customer and I have NO reason to be dishonest in my review. Jason did pretty good job on SNS nails. Reasonably priced too. Really liked the staff. They were friendly and welcoming. Only downside, limited selection of SNS nail colors and limited staff trained to apply powder nails. They couldnt get me in for next appointment because the only two staff trained to apply SNS were booked entire day on a Sunday. I had so much regrowth that I had to find another salon to do my nails.

I booked with Carol aka Bad Habit... My appointment was originally at 5 but I called ahead to let her know I was running late and to make sure I didnt throw off her schedule. She said it was fine and confirmed my service for a fill in and polish change on my feet. I told her I will be getting the fill in and would come back for the polish change on my feet b/c I didnt have time. Carol said it takes her an hour and fifteen minutes to do a fill in and gel polish. My gps said I would arrive at 5:44p and I told her... Carol said it was fine, but wanted to make sure I wasnt rushing. Well, I wasnt rushing. Even with my late arrival and her hour and fifteen minute service for a fill in, I still had enough time. My destination was 7 minutes away from her shop and I had to be there at 7:30p. She set an expectation of an hour and fifteen minutes when I told her I was running late and if that was all the time she needed that was fine. But I left her shop at 7:24 pm and she only finished drilling my nails. She didnt meet her own expectation and tried to argue a point that I didnt tell her I was rushing... Well wasnt until her fill in that she said would take an hour and fifteen minutes ran way over... Instead of engaging in a petty argument I remained in my zen and I told her I would come back the next day for her to paint my nails. It really wasnt a big deal. I paid and tipped her. she booked an appointment at 1pm the next day. When I arrived she wasnt there and her daughter said she left 10 minutes prior to my arrival for lunch. I asked her daughter to call her b/c I wanted to know why Carol ( the owner) wasnt there. Her daughter said Carol told her to tell me she put me down on the calendar but didnt write it down on a piece of paper and it slipped her mind. First of all, what?! She didnt apologize, she didnt speak to me, nothing... Just told her daughter to give me a lame excuse. Meanwhile, Im supporting her business. I didnt have to pay up front for incomplete service and tip her... But I did... Clearly Carol couldve cared less. I wouldve expect this from a disgruntled employee but she is the owner yall! But get this, as I was walking out the door, I saw her peek from the back and run back when she saw me. Comical!!! THIS IS THE OWNER! She also talks about her repeat customers in front of other customers. I have bared witness to her behavior as she was doing my nails. There was an older white woman in her shop and Carol gossiped about the woman from her prior visit as she sat in a pedicure chair closer to the back of the shop. The woman was a bit eccentric but she was a patron and a customer that supports Carols business. Instead of showing professionalism as a business owner and appreciation for paying customers... Carol laughed and gossiped about this woman who was a repeat customer. The woman sat next to me and got a pink chrome polish. She had no clue Carol was gossiping about her minutes before she was called over to get her nails done. I dont know about the rest of you but I spend my money where I am appreciated. Carol forgot about a simple principle.... You never know who steps foot in your doors and who is in your company... Some of which can change the success of your business positively or negatively. Its always wise to treat people they way you would want to be treated. I see estheticians and nail techs that are booked the entire month every month. They dont forget a client over night... They certainly show appreciation for their customers. I guess thats why Carol has plenty of time slots on her books. Go figure... Should anyone from Cocoa Nails challenge this review, Im happy to go into detail about what was said about the patron with descriptions!...:-)
