I have used Beth for my accountant for 15+ years and have always had excellent service. In fact, I used to do my own taxes and had her e-file for me one year and she found money that I missed resulting in a larger return. Since then, she has done my taxes. In reading some of the reviews posted in the negative, I can only say that I have always been extremely pleased with Precision Accounting. I live in Henderson County but make the drive to their office because I trust them to do right by me. To date, I have zero complaints. Thanks for all your hard work Beth and Team!

After working with Beth and her experienced team of employees (I love you Sandi), we have continued every year to use their services for the last 8 years, have never been disappointed, at times things have taken a little longer than Id want, but dont we all want everything done today? Understanding I am not their only client, info is complicated when you dont have records in order (yes me!), things take time. Precision accounting has ALWAYS taken time when I have needs or concerns in a timely and professional matter...heres to the next 8 years with Precision Accounting! Thank you for your services, your much appreciated! Garry and Liz

Where to start? The part where I dropped my taxes of in September 2019 and they did not complete them until December 2019. Then once filled in December the information on the tax return was not correct. This is brought to their attention in early January 2020 and was not fixed until March 2020. Calls to the office are mostly not returned and if they are its 3 to 4 days later. Every time that something is wrong it is an excuse of why someone was out of the office or an oversight. No compensation to the mistakes that they have made has been offered at this point. Not even Im sorry this happened.

I waited a year to write this review since my first experience with an accountant was Precision Accounting Services. Now that I have experienced another company, I can plainly see more than ever that I was royally ripped off by Precision Accounting Services.I brought my business to Precision in February of 2019 to prepare our taxes. In March 2019, after a month (yes, 30 days) of not hearing anything, I contacted the accountant assigned to me, and I was handed lines of excuses. It was evident that we were forgotten about as the emails from our accountant that followed my call all consisted of questions that indicate they were diving into this for the first time.As this was our first full year in business, we had used a mix of two different types of accounting. We did the first half of 2018 using spreadsheets and the second half using quickbooks. I had provided the accountant with absolutely everything needed at our initial meeting. Some time after I called to ask why I hadnt heard anything, I received an email and a few phone calls asking if we did any business prior to July 2018. Each time (at least 3), I said of course! All of that income is accounted for in the spreadsheets for the first half of the year. Eventually it clicked, but was just another indication that they had not looked at my business since our initial meeting a month earlier. After this, it became quite evident that this accountant was not knowledgeable with quickbooks. Part of our initial consultation was spent discussing that I use quickbooks, and was assured it wouldnt be a problem. I logon to quickbooks one day, and find that my books are thousands of dollars out of balance. Turns out the accountant took the liberty of making some changes. To make matters worse, the changes that were made were for the year 2019 and not the year 2018 that he was supposed to be working on. I was also asked many questions that pertained to 2019 and not 2018 which is what made me realize, they have no idea how to use quickbooks. There was also some minor questions when it came to collecting sales tax. First off, I had to educate him on the laws regarding what is taxable and what is not. In the end, it was a severe lack of quickbooks knowledge that led up to his misunderstanding. This was a minor part of the terrible experience, but it becomes more significant later. After many questions and in-person meetings, they were able on complete my taxes. They were finally completed and ready for my signature on April 15th. Thats right, tax day. Thats right, it took two months to get them done. The real kick in the face was the bill. This is why I waited a year to write the review. To see what someone else would charge for similar work. The accountant I used for 2019 was quite literally a fraction of the cost. It was significantly less than half of what Precsion charged. Granted, I used quickbooks for a full year which probably makes it easier (for someone who knows quickbooks) but the work was done in 2 weeks from our initial consultation on February. I also left my new accountant feeling confident that the job was done right and can now see the difference between an accountant who knows what they are doing vs one that does not. To add insult to injury, it was found out recently that Precision never filed a return for another state that I did some W2 work in. Was supposed to receive money back, but it was never filed. Its on my paperwork with them, but the state has no record of it.I emailed the owner about the bill being so high before I paid it. I explained most of whats in this review. I was told that the accountant had spent quite a lot of time on an issue with sales tax and that they charge a minimum amount per month for businesses. Basically, they were charging me for 12 months of accounting services and some extras packed into 2 months and one bill. She offered to meet with me and discuss my needs and assign a new accountant. I just paid the bill and wanted to move on. I could go on, but google limits how much you can put. I highly recommend someone else.

Beth is amazing! I love having someone who is smart and fast and committed to my best interests! You have to be able to trust your accountant! An update for 2020: Beth is still the one you should use. We live in Charlotte and 2 years ago, decided to go with someone here. First one we tried was dishonest and the second one we tried was disorganized--I received 2 IRS threat letters because of my accountant not filing on time. (I was WAY on time. She wasnt.) Im back with Beth and Precision. I wish I could write another review and give them 5 stars again, but google will only let me update this one. YAY Precision!
