I was under the impression that the tax preparer was supposed to get you the most refund possible & our preparer didnt do that for us

Ernie Thurston has been preparing my taxes for years. He caught a huge error that was being made on my taxes were filed somewhere else, and got me back four years worth of state taxes! He is very personable, and, boy, does he know his stuff! He is the reason I come to H&R Block. I also like the peace of mind and identity tax theft protection.

I walked in to drop off my taxes and they were assigned to Toni Nick. We set up an appointment for later in the week. When I met Toni she made me feel relaxed and in control. She assisted me in putting together a good package and to help ease some of the financial burden I incurred this year, as an independent contractor.

Toni is able to answer questions without hesitation and explain things in a way that you fully understand your return.

We had our taxes done there last year, the older woman who did our taxes was unprofessional and condescending. I showed up well prepared and my husband and I basically sat in front of her while she slowly typed in all of our information. She failed to ask about certain exemptions and when she tried to tell us our return we said what about ...... and she got all snippy that we hadnt spoken up earlier. When we finally finished over 2hours later, we were charged SO MUCH...over $350 for our taxes. I couldnt believe it. THEN when we went up to finish she said you guys must be really busy....I said yeah why? and she said, most people dont leave $XXXX on the table for that long. SHE ANNOUNCED OUR TAX RETURN AMOUNT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. So unprofessional and it was none of her business. AND it was still weeks ahead of the deadline.....so yeah, we were busy and we just wanted to get the hell out of there after that awful experience. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Toni nick was our tax preparer again for the 2nd year in a row. She is very good at what she does,she fast and very much on point with our taxes,she is very helpful,she definitely cares about her customers and has good sense of humor...

I have always gone to HR Block to prepare my taxes and have never regretted, except for one time when my preparer messed up my bank account number. My recent visit was fast and expert.

Its efficient, not intimidating, not too expensive, convenient, and it relieves my mind to have someone keeping up with the tax laws, etc. If I tried to do it myself, I would forget something or leave something out

Horrible and crazy visit ( if I could give 0 stars I would) I just encountered which I understand I came in 50 mins till they closed but I would have rather been told no we have no time to do this and went to an actual cpa than be rudely rushed through the process by some one who merely just punches in the numbers and has zero answers to any questions-definately would not recommend this place to anyone other than w2 employees, and even then Id prefer to do my own taxes being that it is not that complicated or time consuming. Was rushed, uninformed and confused by the time I left. I would recommend finding your own cpa who will take their time and actually answer any questions or concerns you may have about your taxes- you will end up paying the same amount of money and will receive better hospitality and exemption information than I did -ESPECIALLY if you are a small business owner or happen to fall as a 1099 employee. I have never felt so belittled and confused in my life. WAS MISINFORMED COMPLETELY. As a laborer I was told I could only write off gloves and a specialized shirt- no jackets for winter no sunscreen no boots nothing but gloves and a reflective shirt. Rant over- dodge this place or end up like me. Lesson learned.

The cost has went up way to much and on top of it all we have never had to wait 2 hours to get are taxes done we even had an appointment there was hardly customer in there the lady took to long 2 hours I had to bed at work and I was almost late for work we will be going somewhere else next year
