I love this Salon and their employees. They are seriously so friendly and inviting. Ricky (Pretty sure the spelling is incorrect) is amazing at what he does and is a blonding king! He is always so friendly and willing to work with your schedule to ensure that you received the best care possible. I am so happy that I found this hidden gem!

I’ve seen several stylists here, and I’ve been nothing but impressed by the quality of their work as well as their kindness. Today was stressful as I unexpectedly had to bring my baby with me, and everyone was very welcoming and accommodating, allowing me to have another nice day at this salon.

I booked an appointment with Tracey a couple of weeks in advance to have my hair ready for a wedding. They said no problem, you can have the appointment with Tracey. I received a call 3 days before the appointment to tell me that Tracey doesnt take new clients (despite telling me the opposite before) and they assigned me to another stylist that I dont know - as an FYI type of thing, without asking me first if I wanted to be assigned to another stylist. There was not even a hint of apology. Its not OK to treat customers this way. Making me wait this long to tell me that I cannot have a stylist of my choice prevented me from booking the next stylist of my choice at another salon who is now no longer available for the wedding reception day. This is an unacceptable way to conduct business.

Tracy is exceptional at hair styling and color. She knows how to create a great style that not only looks great when you walk out of the salon, but stays looking together over time.

Silk Salon & Nails is a great example of a fantastic local company. Recai has been cutting hair for almost 30 years and is a master at what he does. He offers a lot of customized styles, works very meticulously, cares about his clients. I would encourage everyone from the DMV area to visit this place for their needs. They are very covid conscious, sanitize everything, social distance, follow all rules and regulations. Please give them your business.

I got an amazing haircut here from Casey! I have thick, difficult hair and she gave me a gorgeous cut. I will definitely be going back. The salon is very comfortable - even the hairwash stations! The salon is taking precautions and I felt safe going there during the pandemic.

I first came here for an emergency manicure several months ago. The place is spotless, and the atmosphere is calm ( not overcrowded and noisy like so many other salons in Courthouse/Clarendon). Tiffany gave me a fabulous gel manicure that literally lasted almost 3 weeks.I came back last month for a haircut from one of the stylists. She gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. She cut my hair with so much precision and attention to detail. The blowout was so beautifully done!Everyone that works here is incredibly friendly and professional.

Tracy is the BEST. Cut, Color- everything. Ive been going to her for over 6 years and she fixed my color years ago and I get compliments all the time. Run, dont walk!

I would definitely recommend Tina an as excellent nail technician - I received many compliments on my nails, the manicure looks good for weeks and overall experience was very rewarding. Also, the service is friendly, green tea is delicious, hands massage is divine and occasional discounts are very generous (they offered 20% off for nails in November). I am new to the area, and l am glad that Silk Salon and Nails is located very close to my home. Look forward to my next visit!

My nails were done really nice and the nail technician was very friendly but for 80 dollars the gel nail polish shouldnt be peeling a day later.

Highlights technician Tom knows how to make thin streaks and Katie was an excellent, very efficient blow-dry lady. Whats missing perhaps is the welcome: a glass of water (without me having to ask) or tea even.

Paid $70 for very bad wax. I had to come back for her to fix it and still had to go home and shave.

I always come here for their spa pedicures. Tiffany is the best! Treat yourself!

Price: $75 for gel Mani/regular pedicure ATM available for tip in Wells Fargo bank around the corner. This is about $10 more expensive than the prices in Reston, and more extensive than neighborhood salons.Technician: Tiffany, shes really sweet and is a professional. She did a little bit of complaining about her number of clients. Thats always awkward. Tiffany does not work on Sunday/Monday. Shes the only nail technician here, so going to get your nails done is possible, but probably not efficient. I was her last client my first time seeing her, so she met me at the ATM (unexpectedly). I planned to get change from the front desk, but since she cornererd me I gave her the whole $20. I had my next appointment scheduled for two weeks. I her a call that shes out of the country due to unexpected illness. I could have sworn she told me her whole family was here. Oh well. I dont think Ill be returning.Salon: The salon is full service beauty (hair/waxing/nail) salon. However, there is a secluded section behind double paned glass French doors that holds the 3 pedicure chairs and 2 manicure stations. Since they only have one technician youll probably be the only person. Its definitely more private then regular nail salons.Quality: the Pedicure massage was slightly softer and shorter than Id like, but the most important part, the nail painting qualify was C, or 3 stars in Yelp language. The manicure was great. The color selection for gel (OPI/Etc) was not the biggest Ive seen but they had newer colors that were appropriate for the season! My manicure chipped a few days later, which was unfortunate.Parking: Theres covered garage parking, a parking lot, and street parking, all of it is paid parking. The metro for Courthouse is a few steps away from this salons entrance!

Awesome experience! Recently moved to the area and randomly took a chance. Im a blonde and had some serious roots that needed to be taken care of. I never write reviews, but Rick at SiLK salon is worth it! Hair looks amazing. Reasonable and speaking from a picky blonde I recommend trying it out. I wish I had a before & after pic. I had single process & highlights. Professional & very accommodating!

Came here by the suggestion of a friend to get a natural looking ombre done to my virgin medium-brown hair. Got it done and since my hair has natural red-ish undertones it ended up looking more orange/yellow than I liked, I called and explained and they were so understanding, assuring me that they want me to be completely happy with my hair! I went back armored with more photos of the desired goal for my hair (summer natural golden beachy ends) and Tracy did the best job giving me the exact look I wanted.The stylists are all very kind and receptionists immediately take care of you when you walk in. They have an assistant who massages your head as your hair is washed, amazing!Definitely try this salon, Tracy (co-owner) is wonderful and my hair looks AMAZING and has gotten endless compliments!
