Starlight Nails is the real deal!! I had a truly magical experience here. My technician was Lee (she’s amazing) and she gave me *stunning* hot pink SNS nails - I wish I could post a picture! Every part of the process was lovely. I have gotten a lot of dip manicures and I can honestly say this is one of the very best I’ve ever had! She made sure I liked the length and shape every step of the way, and was so detailed and meticulous when applying the dip. And the best bonus ever was their removal process! It was so quick and non-invasive, which is honestly such a game changer. The salon is SO clean, the prices are super reasonable, they have every color polish under the sun, and everyone was so nice!! Starlight Nails is incredible! I’ve tried a few nail salons in the Courthouse/Clarendon area and no one compares. Jenny did an amazing job with my SNS manicure and it lasted for three weeks with no damage. I’ll be a customer for as long as I’m in the area.

I’ve tried a few nail salons in the area and Starlight is by far my favorite. All the staff are so welcoming, I love the little snacks they give too, and they always do a meticulous job with my nails. Their gel manicures last forever. I get them every 3 weeks and it’s only because of nail growth—they’ve never chipped at all. They don’t even start to snag in my hair, which always happened before I started coming here.

The best nail salon in Arlington! They take their time and make sure each nail is perfect. Miss Jenny, the owner, is great at what she does. They have the best prices and quality in the area. I recommend Starlight to everyone I know! They also give a little chocolate and coconut crackers every time you go which is a nice bonus.

I enjoyed my experience. Customer service was great, offered drinks and snacks. They do push to pay in cash or venmo so just keep that in mind.Update. Gel polish lasted barely two weeks. Still not too bad I would go back but will try a few other places near hear first.

I have many crazy ideas, but going to starlight was one of the best when it came down to getting quality of service and friendly/attentive staff. Ask for Jenny who specializes in powder gel (she uses SNS, which is the best dip powder in the market)at an affordable price. And for the gel girls out there, ask for Sara and Young who will do a phenomenal job on your finger nails and toe nails.

This was my second time going to Starlight. My boyfriend lives nearby but I live in DC, but would totally come out here just to get my nails done! I’ve gotten SNS both times and they’ve been PERFECT. They also serve drink and give you little chocolates. 100% recommend.

I LOVE Starlight Nails. I found them when I first moved here last year from and they are by the best nail salon Ive ever been to. Everyone who works here is so friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way for their customers and are very reasonably priced. I go regularly for pedicures and Dip (SNS) manicures. Since COVID they have added many safety precautions and I feel totally safe visiting the salon. If you are looking for your new go-to nail salon, this is it!

I love this place. Jenny (the owner) is my nail tech and she’s so very sweet, nice to chat with and is a GREAT nail tech. She’s professional and takes her time the nails looked great (no bumps and blended well from my cuticles) my first set got a lot of compliments from my friends at school. This place is clean and they are so nice. Massages while you wait for your nails to dry. Just perfect!

This is the best nail salon in Arlington. I’ve been coming here for the last year for regular pedicures and haven’t found anything similar.My nails don’t chip and their prices can’t be beat, especially with the extra services provided: hot drink, chocolate and crackers; comfortable massage chair, hot stone massage and a shoulder massage.The staff is nice and welcoming. And Jenny, the owner is very hands on and making sure everyone is having a great experience.

I really like this shop!! Jenny is the sweetest and makes an effort to remember all her customers. Not only do they take their time to get your nails right but they will make sure you like it and fix any issues you have with no complaints. I also appreciate their honesty and professionalism, if they can’t do something they will be straight up with you; also it’s not one of those shops that will tell you 10 min and have you waiting for an hour. Highly recommend! Just call ahead if you can bc they get packed !

I finally found a nail place in the DC area that I love. It’s easy to get to either via metro or car. The staff are all super nice! Lindsay gives amazing manicures— the best SNS ever, not too thick, looks natural even with tip, and works quickly without compromising quality. They give you drinks and snacks and during non-Covid, a shoulder massage, which is a great touch. During Covid they all wear masks and have plastic barriers between the techs and clients. I’ve never been loyal to a nail place until now! My long SNS full set lasted so long without breaking— a first for me! They’re literally so sweet and go above and beyond to help you decide on colors, shapes, or work on your schedule if you have to come in quickly during a lunch break. Highly recommend!

So one of my closest friends Kristina bought me to this location to get my nails done and I absolutely love this nail salon.Penny is the absolute best with my mani & pedicure.This salon is Super Clean and the employees are friendly. The best customer service by far.Definitely worth every penny and I already know I will be a loyal customer to this location 💯👍🏽😀.

This is my second time going to Starlight nails for a pedicure and I 100% would recommend. They serve you chocolate, crackers, and drinks. My pedicure looks amazing, does not chip, and lasts for many weeks. Would certainly go for a third time. The whole pedicure experience is relaxing and high quality. Very clean, polite, attentive to detail and listen well to client. I now get my pedicure here because I just moved within walking distance of it. Reasonable price for pedicure, $30, excellent foot and leg massage PLUS seated shoulder massage while waiting for nails to dry. Pleasant atmosphere including a chocolate and cookies.

By far the best experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. The location is convenient and the atmosphere relaxed. The entire staff is polite and friendly; they will always remember returning customers, and you can tell that they actually care. They offer you refreshment, ask you how you are, and always have something positive to say. Each time, whether for a manicure or pedicure, I have always walked away with quality nails for the best price in the area! I cant say enough about this place!

Starlight has amazing service and decent prices. For a regular pedicure she used scrubs and hot stones and it was fantastic. They give you a small snack and a drink if you want. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

Excellent service and customer satisfaction. Only suggestion would be to get a better drying station for nails. It is sensor operated and only stays on if you are constantly moving. Please invest in a better machine to increase rating. Other than that, superb job!! I love it here!

We moved into Randaloph towers, so I thought of trying the nail salon at the building. We were received by the welcoming owner Ms. Jenny. She was very professional and friendly. The staff are all very helpful. The general atmosphere is very relaxing and nice. We got our nails done in a very reasonable time. Prices are also reasonable. I have to say I loved the place and would difentiely go again.

I get my nails done here every 3 weeks or so. Always greeted at the door and am sitting in a manicure chair within 2 minutes. They give you cute little snack bowls and offer you soda, tea, etc. Ive been to almost every single nail salon within a half mile radius (theres practically one on every block in Ballson) and Starlight Nails is my favorite. I would recommend to anybody. PS the gel manicure lasts WEEKS.

I used to love this salon because they have great service and I am always pleased with how my nails look when I leave. However, my most recent visit will likely be my last. This salon is usually very busy so I make an appointment every time I visit. Today I came in on time for my gel manicure, and there was not enough space for me at the manicure stations (even with an appointment). They had me sit in a pedicure chair while I had my nails done, using my lap as a table. I was very disappointed and unable to relax and to make matters worse, when a manicure station opened up, instead of allowing me to relocate, a walk-in customer was seated. I will be looking for a new nail salon.

OMG! I wish I lived here and came here all the time! Found them online and decided to try while visiting the area. They offer complimentary beverages, give you delicate Korean cookies and chocolate, massage your back during manicure, and they are VERY nice people! Highly recommend, even if its far to you..

This was my first time getting my nails done at Starlight and I will definitely go back. Jenny, the owner, is so sweet and personable. Nomin did a great job on my nails and took her time even though it was past 8pm on a Friday and I was the last customer there. She gave a back and hand massage with my SNS manicure. It looks great and very well done!

The place is not as fancy and modern as some of the newer (more pricey) nail places but they do a great job with the mani and pedi services with nice extras like shoulder and neck massage and hot stone massage for the pedicure.It gets busy so be sure to make an appointment. Gana was great! She takes her time with cleaning and trimming the cuticles and I liked how clean they looked. Ask if they have new customer promotion. Jenny, the owner is very friendly.

Definitely went in at a busy time. I don’t mind waiting but every time a spot would open up at the manicure table (I will as there for just a manicure) they would seat someone from the pedicure. When I stood up to leave after waiting 30 minutes they said someone was coming right then - there were still no open seats so I am sure they were just trying to stall so I wouldn’t leave. I had somewhere to be an hour and couldn’t continue to hope I’d get a chance to be sat at that point. I will try again and update on the service then.. but for now. I’m not impressed.

I have been looking for good mani/ pedi place for sometime and I found it ! Very well done pedicure with excellent massage. They use good quality of products. Great service, great people, descent prices - definitely I will come back.

I was a first time customer of Starlight Nails. Its a very small shop, but the service is great! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They offered me various drinks, and provided a chocolate and cracker with my service. The technician, Nemo (sp?), did a fantastic job! My pedicure included a short hot stone massage. The manicure included a short shoulder massage. Very happy with my nails and my toes. Prices are exactly what I paid at other locations in Arlington.

All the love to this place!! So accommodating! I called ahead to see if they had space for me with less than an hr before closing time. They said no rush, just come when I could. They offered to stay open late for me -- and they did! And didnt feel rushed while I was there either.

Really really poorly done french. I do it way better myself with my left hand that I got it done there. Plus the way they filed the nails on the sides caused them to caught on clothes, and if I didn`t have the nail file on me to smooth them, it eventually caused them to break. Really unhappy!

Better than coatroom. I had a great service during my walk in pedi: massage chair, drink, proper scrub and hot stone, and a back rub while my nails dried.

My experience: They ruined my nails. I made an appointment online for a gel fill-in. The owner responded promptly and I went to the shop for the fill-in. They offered SNS the moment I walked in and I said I made an appointment and just wanted a fill-in for my gel nails. Well, the technician melted my gel nails and told me she thought my nails were SNS...um, what!?She offered to fix them but there was no fix for the damage. She finally convinced me to let her apply the SNS and then they CHARGED ME FOR IT! I could not believe that they damaged my nails then offer a fix (the most expensive service they offer) and then charged me for their mistake. Two hours and $60 dollars later I left with a set of SNS nails that were meh at best.Despite my experience, the shop was very nice. The atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was very kind. I think it is a good choice if you want SNS or mani/pedi, but they are not a good choice for gel or acrylic as they are SNS pushers.

I am completely and thoroughly impressed. Lets start with the beautiful warm smile of Jenny welcoming you. They have a real nice selection of colors thats not all junked up and messy.The chairs for the pedicure are great! I appreciate they dont use a cheese grater on your feet. The sugar scrub massage is just enough, then the hot towels is always nice, then some wonderful lotion, then OMG the hot stone massage, this is just SUBLIME!I had the new nail system put on my nails tbis time (sns) it feels amazingly light and it doesnt feels thick like gel , and the best part when Jenny got to the last application and theres a one minute dry time (not under a light) she massaged my shoulders and neck for a few minutes.This place is a good mine! And Jenny is the gem!Great conversation and the sweetest personality ever.When I come to Virginia I will be sure to stop in here for another visit! Best wishes!

This has to be the worst nail experience I have ever encountered! I wasn’t welcomed as some of the other guests. My pedicure was very basic for the price, I had to go to my regular nail shop to get them redone. The nail tech butchered my cuticles horribly, it’s been two weeks and they are still sore! My nails are uneven and the polish looks like I painted them myself...this is not the shop for artificial nails.

Gel manicure started chipping off in a few days. Too much money to be paying for gel that doesn’t last at least 2-3 weeks.
