I dont usually leave reviews but I felt the need to this time.My daughter and I went to get just a haircut and I ended up getting a haircut from the owner.Not only was it the worst experience ive ever encountered but he didnt even advise to me that because HE decided to cut my hair that Id be charged his price.He was aggressive in moving my hair and cutting it and when he was blow drying my hair he didnt even notice that the cord kept hitting face. When mentioning that the cord was hitting face he would apologize and then do it again. The cut was NOTHING what I had requested. Thankfully my daughter had a way better experience and I have nothing negative to say about the hair stylist that did her hair, he was sweet and amazing.

I’ve been getting pedicures at this salon for years. They are very clean and the technicians give wonderful pedicures! Dawn is my favorite. She gives a fantastic massage.

It’s so nice to get out and do something normal during the pandemic. I had my first gel manicure in 6 months today behind the plexi glass with their front door wide open letting in the fresh air at Mancini de Paris and was happier than I could have imagined that I did. It felt really safe, to me and I had a great conversation with the lovely manicurist, Carmen who has been doing nails for 14 years. Carmen did a great job - a very gentle manicure with a great hand massage and used a nice smelling lotion! She also was so kind and walked with me to the sink to do a hand scrub there as well. I got to know Carmen and it was more thank small talk but a genuine and heartfelt conversation. I feel so great today thanks for Carmen not only for the great mani, but the human connection and warmth received with it. I look forward to going back. Thank you!

I’m not usually one to write negative things about a place but when you’re paying $200+ for full highlights and a cut I expect it to at least be even or not look like my roots are a straight line and an inch without color. The gentleman doing my hair was super nice but seemed like he was in a rush, kept getting interrupted and just cutting fast to get me through the process. Pretty unhappy with the results of the color and the cut. I asked for no more than two inches off and it feels like 5 were cut in the process. I also got a manicure while the hair die sat in which was also a rushed experience, just color, no frills gel manicure, I had to ask for lotion.All in all, I’d rather do my hair myself, I’d end up with the same results and $200 back in my pocket. Disappointed.

Mona has been my waxing/facial specialist for almost 16 years--I would never dream of going to another technician for these personal services. She recently joined Mancini De Paris, and I was happy to follow her there.Mona is an absolute professional and perfectionist. Every time I visit her, I feel like a new woman! She also has a great bedside manner for new clients--Ive sent many friends who are new to waxing to her and they are all incredibly pleased with how patient she is, how well she minimizes pain, and the overall results. My younger family members rave about her facials and the time she takes to educate them about skin care and managing breakouts.I would strongly recommend you visit Mona at Mancini De Paris for your facials and waxing services. Shes WONDERFUL!

Followed my long time stylist, Angela, to Mancini De Paris and Im so glad I did. Angela is truly at the top of her profession. Her cuts and color are always amazing and she has a real eye (and ear!) for giving you what you want and need. The salon has a very friendly vibe and all of the staff are eager to make you feel comfortable and welcome. And if you need waxing or a facial, Mona is your gal! I feel like a new woman!

Nice salon. Love my hair stylist Carol. Very skilled and lots of fun to work with. Helps me vary my style/color and makes good recommendations for home care. In addition to hair styling, got a Keratin treatment that really smoothed out my hair and makes it so easy to care for. They also have the most comfortable chairs for washing hair. No neck pain and foot rests. Free one hour parking.

This place is amazing! The staff was very kind and respectful of social distancing. It was clean and there was a limited amount of people in the salon. My hair stylist, Angela, recently joined the team at Mancini de Paris. I would follow her anywhere. She is by far the best colorist in the DMV! She has years of experience! If you are looking for someone new, give her a chance. You will not be disappointed.

I have been going to Angela for my highlights for several years now, and I can honestly say that she is the best blonde colorist in the DC area. I am always. thrilled with her professionalism, her knowledge, her communication and her sincere care for the health of my hair (not to mention the non brassy results). I highly recommend!

This has been my first time at this establishment. I was very impressed before I even got there. the owner answered the phone and helped me book an appointment. I got there, and my nail tech, Ari, was ready to welcome me with open arms and helped me feel very comfortable. This salon was professional from the start and Ive loved it. It is also a lot cheaper than other places Ive been to with lower quality. Overall, I had a great experience and Im happy to say that this is officially my new salon. They seem to really care about customer service and quality. I am more than pleased with their work and would be happy to recommend to others!

Take a look at my beautiful eyebrows, they did not look like this a few years ago and I have to give credit to my girl Mona Qudah who works at Mancini de Paris in Arlington Virginia. The establishment is COVID-19 compliant. So you don’t have to worry about not getting amazing customer service. That’s a given.I went through a transformation and Mona took me on as a client after I’ve had a few flubs of people trying to do my eyebrows properly. Its been 5 yrs and I’ve never been disappointed . My eyebrows used to be short on one side long on the other and she takes precision and care of not only my eyebrows but my face too. She does magic with her facials and as you can see in this photo she made me look like a supermodel. So if you wanna show your man, your girl’s heck your co-workers another side of you then go check out my girl Mona at Mancini de Paris.

I had an anti-aging facial with an eye treatment - with Russo. It was a pure pleasure, and the results are marvelous!! I now look so much younger and so much more confident! I am extremely happy with the outcome! Highly recommended.

Ive been seeing Angela for several years and will never let anyone else touch my hair again - she nails the blonde, balayage, platinum, whatever Ive wanted to try EVERY time. I also got a Brazilian blowout with my color during my last appointment and my once wavy hair is now silky smooth even in the hot, humid DC weather!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place gave me a staph infection on my finger. I went two weeks ago on a Tuesday morning. Manicure looked nice but woman slightly cut my cuticle. I noticed utensils were already on the table and I did not see them cleaned or opened. The next day it hurt like crazy. Then swelled. I cleaned with peroxide etc. Fast forward 2 weeks and I have a staph infection from where I was cut that is slowly healing and it’s still up in the air if I need to be hospitalized for IV antibiotics. I am on extremely heavy duty antibiotics and this has affected my work. Seriously don’t ever go.

Had the worst experience here. Went in with long natural nails, the lady kept filling it and made it super ugly. I asked her to do a coffin shape and she stated she NEVER heard of this shape. Her friend told her how to do it. Then she started angrily filling my nails, hurting me and speaking about me in a different language to her friend. I was very upset and I told her to stop. Very disrespectful. I left without even a getting a color... The owner even gave me a gift certificate that I could not even use because I still had a bad experience influencing my thoughts.

Today was my first time here and I have to say I am super happy with my experience. The staff is very professional a d friendly. Carmen and Vivian are great. They make you feel comfortable and at home. I highly recommend and they now have a new regular customer. 😊

My cousins suggested that I try the salon and I am impressed. My stylist was interested in my history and took time to discuss current and future products with me before he started my treatment. We understood the goals. Most of all I loved the end product. Great job.

Regardless of where you go to get a haircut done, never go to any hair salon on an impulse or in a hurry, simply because your personal appearance is worth more than that; unless of course you do not care about your personal garb. This reasoning is flawed, and more likely, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Select a stylist you know and you are comfortable with, or to one that is highly recommended. This is what I do, so I go to Mancini de Paris for a gentleman’s hair cut. Mancini de Paris had provided me with excellent hair cuts over a span of several years.The price is just right, and the attention to detail, on target. Perhaps compared to other salons you might think Mancini de Paris is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and what want. Just as what you get in a Hair Butchery salon or in a Super Scythe salon in Punk Land. I have been victimized there before in order to “save” myself a couple of bucks. Mancini de Paris is a fantastic value.

Do not see Dawn there, she has no idea how many layers she is putting on.... terrible experience..She left half an inch between my cuticle and it looked like it’s been 3 weeks. gel peeled off 1 day later. Do not recommend to anyone!

All I have to say is SUE! She is AMAZING. She is so talented and great with my hair. I get my hair highlighted cut and blow dry. I highly recommend her!

Aveda salons always get 5 stars for products and basic services for me, this is a review of their perms at this location. I already have curly hair that i am constantly ironing out into almost straight beach waves. I wanted to loosen up my natural curls into a tighter beach wave. What I got was a perm of my curls into their same normal curl they always have!!! They used the largest curler rods they had, orange, and tried doing my perm like a normal perm with the rods horizontal instead of vertical, I did correct them on that, they made the rods tight instead of loose. I have bangs, so there should have been an extra large curler just for my bangs, there wasnt! This was my first perm so I was relying heavily on my stylist to know what to do after i described what i wanted and showed her pictures, but i did go to cosmetology school and did beach waves on a mannequin head and two normal perms in school so i have some idea how to do it right. Im just shocked that they seemed so clueless on how to do a reformation curl perm as opposed to a regular perm.

I had gone out of town to visit some friends and family, normally I like to look cleaned up and polished before my trip, but this time i was in a bit of hurry. While in Alexandria, I was looking for a place to get a hair cut, my buddy suggested to check out Mancini de Paris. As I walked into the place, I couldnt help notice the decor and elegance of the salon. This place has it all, whatever you are in the mood for, Mr Mancini will take care all your needs. The staff is wonderful and accommodated as well, the level of professionalism and courtesy is second to none.If you are serious about getting what you want and for the right price, dont think about it twice. Since then it has become the place to go to when Im out of town.

I’m at this salon once or twice a week. I love it. I’ve had hair services, gel manicures, Aveda facials, and eyebrow tinting/waxing. The prices are comparable to other salons in the area but you get a lot for the money. They even validate parking, which is a nice perk.

The staff are friendly and offer some unique products not found elsewhere. The customer service is the best!

I go here for waxing. I can usually get an appointment last minute, always quick in and out but not rushed. Reasonably priced.

I got a haircut wash and Blowdry, it was so beautiful walking in. A very Nice and professional salon they were very friendly and took me right away without even having an appointment! they also have a nail salon which is very nice and do really good manicures and pedicures, I’d definitely go back and recommend it to friends!👍

I went to this place me and my friends for my birthday. I was so happy with the service. All the technicians are professional. The place is very clean and orgonize and all of them are friendly. The owner Mary was very nice and provided us with Nespresso coffee. It is very calming and classy place. They have full salon and spa service Hair, skin, Nail. Definitely recommend ☺

The quality of my mani/pedi was great. I wish i knew her name. Shes a light skin lady that sits in a corner closest to the wall/TV. I went in on a Tuesday night, to get their special. They adervitise for $40 mani/pedi but its really $46. The lady was very gentle and quick but accurate. She said my mani would only last 2 or 3 days but it started chipping after 7. Im definitely going back to her.i didnt like the treatment of the front desk lady. The salon closes at 8PM and she was rushing customers out of the salon by 7:30, forcing them to pay early. I had just got done with my mani and went to sit down at the hand dryer. The front desk lady told the manicurist to get my cash from my wallet to pay! Even the manicurist was shocked at such a demand! It was myself and another lady getting our nails dried. I left at 7:45 and she was rushing the other customer asking her if she was done.If your closing time is at 8PM, you need to be respectful for the customers who are still in the salon. Customers pay to get pampered, and rushing customers 15-30 mins early is not acceptable!

I headed to Mancini de Paris and this was no accident. Since he had consistently done a great job with my hair, I decided it was now time for me to explore the other nooks of this urban chic salon.I was going to give my hands and feet a treat.Carmen sat me in front of her table. I was in awe in front of her gentle, yet quick and precise motions. She seemed to be silently communicating with my 10 fingers which became two hands with perfectly cut, shaped and polished nails.Time to bring my feet to cloud 9. Literally (youll see why when you get there). Soaking, scrubbing, exfoliating and massaging. Woaw....Oh yes, and massage is available too. Maybe I need another inspiring quote. Or not...I never had a bad experience in this salon. Everybody is courteous, professional and understand that sometimes we all need a Calgon take me away moment and they take pride in giving you just that.Mancini de Paris? Oh oui!

I love Adil and the cut he gives me. I will continue to come as long as he works here. I am VERY disappointed by my colorist, Pan. I came with a friend and we both told him that we did not want blonde in our hair, that we wanted our hair darker. When the foils were removed, we both had lighter hair with a lot of blonde. The staff here is quite wonderful. I am at the salon as I type this and they are all scrambling around to fix Pans mistakes. Part of the problem, which I realized while watching him work on my friend, is that he does not listen well. He walked away from her while she was in mid-sentence and was not truely listening, or hearing, what she was saying to him. Thankfully two other stylists spoke up and acknowledged that they heard me and my friend say we wanted our hair darker. Next time Ill use Maria.

Best Day Spa Ever! They keep me jubilant! I usally plan an essental day for total relaxation. I usually go for a massage, facial and pani & pedi.

It was my worst experience!!! Apparently i wasnt lucky some still learning Moroccan woman did my highlight. I asked her to tone it down she only worked on half of my hair so came out white on top and reddish yellow in the bottom. Im going foward with a law suit as she not only got paid without doinv the job, but talked to me very low and gave me an emotional distress!! Please take my advise pay the money and go see a decent hair dresser!!! Im also checking to see if she even had a license to do hairp
