Had a wonderful experience with having my oil changed. Duane on service was very personable and informative. He took time to go over the things my car needed and wasn’t too pushy. He advised me of needing new tires. He said they would match the price so that I would keep my service there. They definitely did come through for me and matched the price and took care of my tires. I was pleased with the service they provided. Chris with the tire department was very personable and informative as well.

Guess they are not making many car sales they tried offering so many services $900 Worth. I would probably have to leave it over night if I agreed. When all I just wanted is an oil change. I came to fix my tire and change my oil. I had Jose Cordova as my advisor. he took the time to explain each service to me and what was needed. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’ll always book with him cause I know he will take care of me when I visit I recommend going to him he’s great!!

I bought a 2016 accord new here and I cannot recommend this dealership. The sales process is standard for a Honda dealer but once you buy a car you will spammed with mail for the rest of your life. Every month I get a letter of them asking me to buy my car back and I have called 5-6 times asking them to remove me from the call list. They have assured its fixed every time but I continue to get mail. The last guy told me its a 3rd party marketing firm and they cant easily control the marketing of that particular mail but they will get it fixed. I will never buy from Vandergriff again.

I would give - 5 stars if I could. Took my car in 6/24/21 for an oil change. Took it back in about 1 week later 7/8/21 for a scraping sound. I was told that they zipp tied what was making the sound. The noise stopped for a few days, and when it started again I took it back on 7/12/21, and was told I needed a whole new splash shield assembly because mine was missing. And that I needed a new right driver side tire. Long story short. It is now 9/13/21 and still no word on the part I ordered. I was told they are on back order after calling approximately 10 times, and that I was 1 of 3 people waiting for the same part. I have a disability so I dont drive much even though the service agent told Corporate that I went 1000s of miles between the time I got my oil change and when I brought it back. I had actually went less than 900. I was told by 2 different auto shops that it looks like they just didnt put the splash shield back on when they changed my oil. I bought the car at this location and it is the only place that has serviced my car.The service agent offered to not charge me labor but, after all this hassle of having to cancel dr appointments due to rain and fear of something flying up into my engine the parts and labor should be no charge. I have purchased 2 vehicles from here; always having all work done here but never again will I recommend Vandergriff to anyone.

Went to this dealer to look at a new vehicle advertised online. After getting a trade value for my car they informed us the price was higher on theirs, that the accessories werent included in advertised price. Yes, they actually raised the price by about 4k from what was advertised. They tried explaining how they have to install accessories at the dealer, that the cars dont come that way... seemed like false advertising to me, pretty simple. So I would avoid this lot, at least when looking at a new vehicle.

My vehicle had an airbag recall. As a result, I took it back to the dealership that I have had work done on previously. I scheduled the appointment in advance and brought my vehicle in. When I arrived, I mentioned the service and was told that they would not be able to finish the work today and that I would need to leave my vehicle overnight ... no problem! I had scheduled a loaner vehicle to be available for this reason especially since the dealership is a ways from my home. When I inquired about this, the service agent had nothing setup for me. He went to check on there being a loaner vehicle and said that they had already left for the day. He mentioned that they were short-staffed in the service department that day, but when he asked how I scheduled my service (I did it online), he told me, Thats your problem there. If you wouldve called we couldve told you that you wouldnt be able to get a vehicle. I understand that you are short-staffed, but that would be something that you couldve called to tell me about ahead of time. Or better yet, when setting the system for appointments online, dont let me schedule a loaner vehicle after a time when nobody would be available. I asked what else could be done, to which he replied, If we had a vehicle available for you I would give it to you. I find it ironic that a dealership with hundreds of cars sitting out there couldnt loan one of those overnight. Instead, Im out the time and money it took me to drive up there to fix a mistake on Hondas end (both the recall and the service). I dont plan on using Vandergriff Honda again as a result of this experience.

Originally this was a 5 star review, however after the unprofessional customer service I retract my previous review. My first payment is in a week but I get constant reminders as to why I shouldn’t have gotten a Honda. I’d like to say that I’ve never in my life gone through something like this and I’ve gone through 3rd party dealers. Maybe it’s the pandemic getting to people or maybe it’s predatory salesmanship but I expected better. Me and my 8 month pregnant fiancé are recently separated veterans. We came to Vandergriff Honda looking for a deal before the holidays and after finding a nail in the tire, soda spills in the back seat, and loose wiring under the dash choosing Honda left a permanent bad taste in my mouth. Starting with the nail in the tire and unprofessional patching. The first question that this brings to mind would question the nature of their inspection system. They’re content with allowing a 8 month pregnant woman to leave their lot with a tire on its last leg? How much does that save Honda vs the potential risk? The funny thing is I called Vandergriff Honda Service Center the minute my tire pressure dropped to 15 and told them the situation. The response went something like “well didn’t you buy a used car”. I’m sorry but what? In what world do you sell cars with nails in the tires? They then transferred us to sales who had promised to get back to us regarding the issue. At the same time we were on our way to Sherman to visit her dying grandmother. They responded to this by saying “everybody is going through something” even though sales hadn’t gotten back to us until two days later when we had to call 5+ times. When we get to someone they ironically tell us that it’s actually the service center who’s supposed to tell us they’ll look at our tire before ruling out defects. They tried to make an argument of “discount tires job is to sell you a tire and you should’ve brought it to us” well actually you gave us the run around the minute we called to begin with. Discount tire wouldn’t allow a customer to leave their business and give them the knowledge of previous owners (Honda) giving an improper nail patch, if they were attempting to sell a tire. The options Discount gave us was to have Honda replace it or to buy one. If you’re trying to see your dying grandmother and supposedly one of the top rated Honda dealers is ignoring your call what options does that leave you? The touchscreen is also bugged out, car play completely disappears mid drive followed by constant beeping, it leaves me to believe that this has to do with the wiring but you couldn’t get a answer from Honda if you wanted to know. They swore up and down that this is a fully “detailed car” inside and out. I’ll never go through Honda again.

Just bought a car at this dealership and were very pleased with how we were treated. On a rainy night of car shopping our salesman made multiple trips between different colors with a smile on his face. Happy we drove past 3 other dealerships to get to this one from fort worth!

I normally don’t write bad reviews, but I didn’t have a good experience here. My car wouldn’t start so I paid $80 to have someone (a third party roadside assistance business) jump start it only to drive to Honda in Arlington to tell me they’re too busy to help. Save time and drive to Honda in Burleson. He was so kind and they helped me right away, no questions asked.

Went in for a synthetic oil change, first time visiting Vandergriff Honda. My service advisor was Berlin, she took care of me, let me know about the recommendations about filter changes and my brakes. She never pressured me to get the recommendations done today, as some places try to do, just gave me the options, which I appreciated. Got me out of there within an hour, and the oil change ended up being less than I thought, as I figured itd be 100 bucks. It was $75. Will definitely be returning for future oil changes and any maintenance. Berlin was friendly and honest, great service advisor for sure.

Worst experience ever. Advisor Mike is very unprofessional, Mike try to belittle customers in front of other customers. There tech unable to perform an accurate diagnostics of your car. And know one follow up. They have lack of communication. Also will put the blame on the next employee instead of taken ownership and handling the issues at hand. After a week back and forward had to speak to manager several times just to get updates also spoke to manger Justin just to get proper services. My car was on recall transmission issues so my car sat out front for 6 days cause know one wanted to stop what there were doing to help another tech out to push my car around back until Manger Justin finally directed them. 6 days later.

I bought a 2016 Mustang from Marian Spencer at Vandergriff Honda today. We made an appointment for the test drive 2 days ahead, and even though we ended up getting there an hour eary she was ready for us! The dealership was crazy busy but we never felt rushed and didnt feel any pressure to make a purchase. The sales manager (Jerry I think?) worked to give us a fair trade value on my car, and got great financing lined up. This was my first purchase with Vandergriff but it wont be my last!
