I was blown away today when I received an email announcing my rate was going up 21% and there is nothing the local store up to the district manager can do.Now Im not so satisfied.05/31/21 - I am updating my review based on updates from Krystal and Steve who arranged for a lesser rate increase.I do appreciate their follow-up.

We utilize our outdoor storage space to stage our companys deliveries. We had a sizable delivery from a courier who was supposed to drop the heavy packages directly into our unit, per the directions on the ticket and the info provided by the front desk at this location. However, the large shipment was dropped outside, and several units away from ours. Evan went above and beyond and personally moved the entire delivery into our unit, and called me afterward to confirm. This is a great storage location, and Id recommend it to anyone. Laurie has also been a huge help, and does a superb job. Thank you both very much for everything you do!!

When I walked into the store to sign up, I noticed how clean everything was. Laurie helped sign up and she explained everything in great detail. As we walked through the storage area, I noticed it was bright and spotless. I asked Laurie, how old is this place, about 5 years? She said, no its 20 years old! I couldnt believe it. She told me how she and the other staff clean the floors, the roll up doors, walls, etc. and it shows! She told me how secure the place is and the different ways your property is protected. It was obvious Laurie takes great pride in her work and the company she works for. I moved my belongings in without any issues. Also, the prices are lower than other facilities close by.

Kristy is the number one associate of this establishment, she is always efficient and curtious with any questions I have.

I helped a friend move in and he asked me to write this review. This property is very clean and nice. The people in the office, Michael and Laurie, were friendly and helpful. They have a lot of moving stuff you can buy. The outside also looks good, no trash or stuff laying around. I highly recommend here, if you need storage.

I came in yesterday to help my girlfriend but the key to her space was not working. Kris was working and stopped everything that she was doing to help us figure it out. Kris is very helpful. Ive been using the Public Storage facility at 1904 West Street in Annapolis since 2013. On the positive side: the onsite manager, Laurie, is excellent. She keeps the facility immaculate, and provides extremely good customer service. The district manager, Josh, recently responded very quickly with a positive action to an issue I had, with the bounds of what he was enabled to do, and gave me options. On the negative side, the corporate office raises their rates after only 6 months to 1 year, based on percent occupancy. And the worst aspect is the high percentages: the increase for February was 24%! This is a very negative business practice.

My first experience ever with a storage facility, Evan was helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I feel I got a great price!So this is my updated review, they doubled the monthly price after they claimed I had a locked in price. Was never informed of any increase, poor customer service regarding that!

I had a great experience with Laurie, one of the on-site managers. She was knowledgeable, informative, and personable. I was shown the best options for my storage needs, and she helped me pick out boxes and other moving accessories. The paperwork process was easy and did not take much time. Would recommend 10 times over. Thank you.

I called this location to get some basic information about prices. Kris answered very professional and began asking me questions on what I was storing. I am not sure exactly so she gave me prices on a couple different sizes that are available. Kris was very nice and helpful. I know where I will be storing when I move!

Kris was a absolute great sales lady. I came in only for a couple boxes and left with almost everything Public Storage sold. Everything that Kris advised me that I needed to pack my belongings in she was right and it made my move and packing go very smooth. Very good customer service. Laurie was very helpful, she made very good recommendations of useful items to help me and she wasnt just trying to sell me everything in the store. She also gave me recommendations of units of the same size that would cost me less. No complaints at all. Very professional.

I was able to rent a unit on a Sunday on short notice and Laurie was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and showed me around and got me setup. Promotion of 1st month for $1 is a bit misleading as you are still charged a $25 admin fee but still a great price for first month. Unfortunately I was unable to fit everything into my storage unit so was forced to throw some items into the dumpster. Dumpster was filled to capacity already by other tenants so I neatly placed the chairs and cabinet directly next to the dumpster. Next day I received an email and a nasty phone call from Chris stating that I had been caught on camera dumping and would be charged $75, and if it happened again I would be evicted. A sharp contrast to the warm welcome I had received from Laurie. I called several times to discuss the charge and the fact that the dumpster was full as I feel I should be permitted to dispose of unwanted items as a paying tenant...however to date my phone calls and email responses have gone unanswered. They also took the liberty to automatically charge my credit card the dumping fee. As far as the property is concerned its a storage unit...dime a dozen...nothing unusually positive or negative. I rate Laurie a 5 and Chris a 1...so rating a 3 as a whole. My suggestion to them would be to get a larger dumpster or more frequent pickups in order to all ALL paying tenants to use the dumpster.

Kris was beyond wonderful the entire process from my initial phone call all the way through my rental of a unit. She explained everything so it was easy to understand, and although during my office visit she had several customers to juggle I did not feel for a second like I was not her only customer. She is professional yet personable, and really made a hectic situation in my life more pleasant. The facility is well maintained, clean, and I do not have a concern about the safety of my belongings. Again, thank you for all of your help, patience, and understanding Kris!

I just worked with Laurie at my local Public Storage and she was the consummate professional. She walked me through all of the paperwork, answered all of my questions and showed me several units that fit my needs. I wish all of the property mangers that I work with would be as pleasant and easy to deal with as Laurie.

I was I instantly welcomed by Kris when I walked in the door and asked how she could help me, I just told her that I needed boxes, anyways I only needed 3 boxes but I left buying 10 boxes, bubble wrap, tape and a tape gun ( which she put the tape in for me). Kris your customer service is fantastic and thank you for making sure my belongings were packed nice and safely.

A pleasant experience! Laurie greeted me as I entered the office and was able to guide me through which size unit I needed.I came back later that day and Laurie was able to process my lease paperwork quickly.She walked with me to the unit for initial inspection and notice one of the latch handles was broken. I liked the unit location and Laurie said she would fix the handle. By the next morning a new latch was installed on my unit and the lock was able to go on much easier.Thank you Laurie!

I came here recently to rent a storage unit. I had an overall great experience. Laurie was the attendant on hand that day and she was awesome. Laurie and Kris are very friendly and nice. The facility is clean. What they dont tell you is that there are only (2) carts for the entire facility. It sucks when you have to wait 30 minutes or more for a cart, or carry your stuff in one box at a time.

Bought a few things of packing supplies today and just thought Christine was so knowledgeable about all the packing supplies she sells. This is my 3rd time there and I wish I would have listen to her the first time so I could have gotten the saving for buying so much . Next time I ever move I will go back to her and I will refer all my friends who decide to move or just need storage to go to Christine and no where else . This gal really needs a raise for all that she does for these customers . I watched her sell merchandise to me and multi task with answering questions for another customer . Christine really is the best of public storage .
