We got a quick appointment, the technicians were right on time for the early morning appointment. They were very friendly and completed the job quicker and at less cost than I had anticipated.

Best home services type business Ive ever used. We have three houses so we use a number of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC folks and Heidler is easily the best.

Chuck from Heidler came to replace a severely leaking outside faucet. He was very professional and friendly. Wasn’t disturbed by my 4 barking dogs. He was fast and efficient. It wasn’t an easy fix and required removing drywall and some ceiling tiles. He was very neat and cleaned everything up when he finished the job. It wasn’t cheap but I’m pleased with the results.

We have used Heidler for numerous repair jobs, most recently replacing our old furnace. They always do a good job, their personel are friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are very reasonable. Strongly recommend.

If I could give more then 5 stars to Heidler, I would. Carol and my HVAC tech, Carlo, went above and beyond to work out a time for my HVAC repairs. They charged a reasonable price, Carlo showed up on time and my HVAC has been working fine ever since.

I am very satisfied with the work done by Bruce and Andrew. Found and repaired a leaking pipe very efficiently. Swapped out an ice maker saddle valve with a real valve. The technicians were on time, wore masks, and booties over their shoes. Would use Heidler again. Price was less than I expected.

Had a parts issue with a relatively new boiler, Heidler was on several calls with the manufacturer diagnosing the issue, followed up when wrong parts were sent, finally got the correct parts and completed the repair successfully. Appreciate the diligence and commitment to resolving the issue.

Heidler installed and services our propane gas fireplace. They have provided first class service for over 5 years. This year, once again the cleaned and set up or gas fireplace for the winter season. As always it was a first class job.

The folks at Heidler are terrific. I have a hot water heater problem. When I called on Monday, a technician arrived the same day. They needed to order a part from the manufacturer who sent it overnight and an appointment to finish the job was set for the next morning. Had a gas leak at the meter. BGE had to shut off the gas. Called Heidler at 8 am and they assigned a stand-by crew to come to the house sometime during the day. Well, the crew arrived promptly at 9 am! Crew was respectful and diagnosed the problem immediately. Fixed the issue right away and for a lot less than I thought it would be. I will be calling Heidler again for any of my Plumbing or HVAC needs in the future. First-rate company!

Obviously a plumber was not sent out as he had to call his boss and the price quoted for a hose bib was way out of line! I would never use them for any plumbing service! Poor rating is generous.

Have used Heidler many times. Recently the repair man came out the same day I called and solved a problem with an ice maker water line. He replaced the existing originally installed tiny valve with a much upgraded larger valve in less than an hour. The price was under $200 for the time and parts. Very pleased. In a previous call several years ago two Heidler employees came to add a gas line for a stove and also discovered that the main gas line had a leak, which I knew nothing about. I was a happy camper that they were able to repair it that day and add the new gas line to my stove as well. They have repeatedly done very good work and have well trained experienced plumbers.

Chuck worked hard to repair our problem with the outside hose bib. He was courteous and responsive to our concerns.

My tech Will was extremely helpful and informative. Not only did he perform a routine service on my gas fireplace but he also gave me lots of information - that I had asked for- about different plumbing options for pipe replacement, water heaters and new showers. Great service!

I used this company to remove tree roots growing into my main drain, unfortunately, the Heidler staff did not reconnect the electrical cord to my sump pump and my basement a few days later had 14 inches of water. The tree root removal from pipes was fine, but they caused residual issues which were costly. The Annapolis fire department and police department were on the scene and helpful; they used industrial water pumps to get the water out of my basement. If you use company, inspect the work performed.

Heidler was recommended to us so we had them service the hot water heater in our new house. The service tech came to the house, drained some water out of the bottom of the tank, poured a cup of bleach into the tank and replaced the disintegrated anode with an aluminum rod. The cost was $425 which I feel is high for the job done. My neighbor had much the same for almost $200 less. Heidler may be good, but they sure are pricey.

Honest and Trustworthy. We were having an issue and thought we were going to have to get 24 hour plumbing service out here. We called three companies to get prices and Heidler was so helpful. I spoke with Chuck who told me to call Anne Arundel County First as it may he a county issue (none of the other companies told us that). He said the county would come out and check out line. He even gave us the number. Sure enough, it was in fact a county issue. He saved us a ton money. Its extremely difficult to find people like that and we are extremely grateful. We put their info on our fridge and will recommend them to our friends and family as well. THANK YOU!!!

Dave from Heidler came and replaced the fill and flush valves in one of our toilets. He called before arriving, was on time, and did a great job. We have used Heidler over the past 23 years and have always been pleased with their work. They are highly recommended.

The gentleman who came to my home (Fernando) was great. He was very knowledgable and friendly. He explained every step of the way what he thought was going on, what he was doing to confirm it and how we would go about fixing it. He finished the work quickly and thoroughly and gave me a comprehensive estimate for future work. The prices for both todays work and the work well be having done soon were very reasonable. For any future plumbing work we need, well be calling Heidler.

The installers/repair folks called ahead and arrived exactly on time.They were polite, professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They installed a battery back-up sump pump and gel cell battery and repaired a free standing generator - really good experience.

I needed 3 plumbing jobs done in my home. Install a new bathroom faucet set, remove and replace a toilet seat on which the nuts had rusted, and snake out a slow emptying bathroom shower. A young plumber named Bruce came to do the repairs. I must say that these jobs were done perfectly and in a timely manner. Bruce was obviously highly experienced, and had all the tools necessary to do the work. I was especially impressed with how polite Bruce was and how clean he left his work areas. Requested an inspection of our heat pump as Winter is Coming. The service representative ran a thorough test, explained what he was checking as he went, replaced the filters, and reported that the nearly 25 year old system is good for another year but that we ought to consider replacing it in the next year or two. An honest appraisal at a very reasonable price.

I loved my Rep that came out. Very pleasant and quick response I give the company a 10 for the response and attitude of their tech. The problem I have is that I paid for emergency service the tech came out and could not fix it and left me a huge bill. When I called to get a tech out during the week ahead they said I could not get a tech till Wednesday the next week. I have been in my house now during a very hot spell sweltering along with my poor car and dog because I have to wait till next week. It seems unfair to charge me so much and I am in the same place I was last Saturday when I paid emergency prices to get my cooling fixed. Almost 400.00. I am a single parent that is tough pricing for no result.

I have to say the Technicians are first rate. Very polite and professional. I would easily give them 5 stars. However the office and management need a lesson in customer service. It took me multiple phone calls after the initial diagnoses to even get them to order the part for my gas fireplace resulting in two months going by without heat in my sun room. When they finally did order the part it only took one day to come in. I asked twice to have a supervisor call me to talk about some kind of discount for my inconvenience and no one ever called. A very frustrating experience.

After a few years of trying to get it straightened out, lots of finger pointing, and several really high estimates from other experts, I chose Heidler for several reasons. They really do know steam heat systems. They always answer their phones. They always return calls. They give a written detailed estimate. Their prices are fair. Their plumber shows up when they say they will. They do the job as promised. Theyre FAST! They fixed my botched steam pipe job and now the north wing of the house is heating as it should. Ive hired them back to do several large and smaller jobs such as install a water softener, move pipes, add fixtures... I must say that its great to have a reliable plumber that shows up when they say they will, finishes a job quickly, does it right the first time, and when you get the bill, there are no surprises. Would have given them 5 stars except the first service person who got my heat temporarily working did not relay information on what parts were needed so when my heat gave out completely nobody knew what if anything was ordered. However, the second set of service people called around to part stores and found the motor that was needed. They installed it in no time. Very pleased.

I had had decent experiences with Heidler before, but apparently they are woefully understaffed, as it is not possible to get an appointment for a relatively simple and straightforward install job within 3 weeks of making a request. To me, being available for appointments within a reasonable time frame is an important part of a companys value and quality.

I would not recommend Heidler. They have lost my business..I have used them in the past. Told this am it would be $80.00 for a diagnosis with our hot water heater ,then told $160.00 if they cant make it by 4:30 (like that is my fault)..now told they cant come at all today. Hung up on by Chris,the so-called mgr. When I asked for the owners info she would not get it for me,but if you have any probs..he is on facebook and his name is Steven Heidler.

They advertise immediate service, but when I called to try and get someone out to my house tomorrow to check for a potential leak in my shower, the rep told me that they werent available and appointments would be next week. Would not recommend for emergency plumbing needs.

Installed new hot water heater and a reverse osmosis drinking water system. No issues, Im happy with the install and everything is working perfectly.

I had used Heidler in the past and couldnt have been more pleased with them. They came to my new home and told me it would be $79 and then an additional cost if more needed to be done. The guy took literally less than 5 minutes to look at my disposal (did not pull it apart), told me it needed to be replaced and that he was charging me a min of $68 because he diagnosed that. I called to ask them about pricing while he was there and they said that it was only the $79. When I said I felt like I was being taken advantage of (with an f bomb, in all fairness) they put me to customer service. They defended their employee, who they had already admitted was wrong. I feel completely taken advantage of and there was no apology. If you go with them, dont count on the customer being treated as if they are right even though theyve already been told they are. Completely disappointed.

Plumber spent an inordinate amount of time diagnosing the source of a leak within the wall. When performing repairs in a tight area under the sink, he actually jostled some piping that had never had any issues under the sink. He then claimed that the piping under the sink was leaking and charged me an additional $124.99 to put in a new P-trap. As I said, this part of the plumbing was perfectly fine before he started maneuvering around under the sink.They now refuse to issue me credit. The people there have been very curt and unpleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend any other plumber.

I called Heidler about a back up in our main bathroom. Our ceiling in our basement had begun to leak and as this had happened before leading to a partially flooded basement, I was very nervous and needed help fast! Dave responded to my emergency service call and he was patient with me as I explained the problem and looked through old receipts to see what had been done before. He suggested I call the City of Annapolis as it sounded like a city issue and they could snake our clean out. He was absolutely correct!! Heidler is about TRUE customer service. Even though we didnt use them this time, they are our only call in the future. Thank you!!

Bad Plumbers. In 2009, I installed, at their recommendation, a Navien Tankless water heater. I had used tankless in Europe and never had a problem. In 2016, after 4 service calls, the heat exchanger went out and water leakage caused 3 other parts to fail. Although the exchanger was still under warranty, it would have cost me an additional 1,500 to fix.In addition, the toilet fix lasted one flush, and the 2 outdoors faucets were placed so close to the siding that my hose adapters wont fit.

I called after hours and left a message with the answering service. I received a call back within 10 minutes of Heidler opening in the morning. Dave who is the tech that covers our area showed up early in the window given and got things fixed quickly.

Before 3/28/16 my Navien Tankless Water heater stopped making hot water & required a reset (once every 2 to 3 weeks)3/28/16 Hedler performed maintenance and replaced Flame Rod & Flow SensorAfter 3/28 to 4/20/16 water temperature varied and heater needed to be reset once every 1 or 2 days4/20/16 Heidler said that this was a new error code and replaced Air Pressure Sensor, Gas Pressure Sensor, and hoses4/20/16 to date – water heater needs to be reset almost each time we want to use hot water4/25/16 Heidler came back and checked gas pressure and air intake. They then asked us to document each time the system went off.5/3/16 Heidler replaced gas regulator and after this did not fix the problem they said that Navien recommended replacing a gas valve5/4/16 Steve Heidler recommended replacing the unit instead of the gas valve. He would discount the work from $4,200 to $3,000.The unit they recommended costs less than $1,800 with sales tax and not including a plumber’s discount. If they held a gun to our head for this it would be called robbery, Heidler calls it Customer Satisfaction.I talked with Steve Heidler. He takes no responsibility for the number of trips, the dollars charged or the fact that Heidler did not fix the problem. He blames Navien.

Emergency call placed on Sunday leaking hot water heater ... we turned the water off and was told we would be called Monday morning to be given a time for someone to come out to replace .. When they didn’t call us ...we called them Monday morning and we were told they were booked all week and couldn’t help us at all !!!No emergency times ????? UNBELIEVABLE and DISAPPOINTING !!Will never call again !!!
