Tech and office were great bt due to the spur of the moment booking tech was not equipped with the correct filters.

Technician was on time and prepared to work. He was masked and wore shoe covers. Both very important to me. He was diligent hard working and responsive. He repaired my AC which included installing a new thermostat. He was friendly but also very focused on my repair. I think he represented Coastal in a very good manner. I would call them for future assistance absolutely!

My only issue with these guys is they charge by the pound for refrigerant but they do not prorate the cost if they inject less than a pound into the system. They should weigh the change and only charge for what is injected.

Friday night at close to 5 PM I noticed that my thermostat broke and I had no heat with a freeze warning in effect for the night. I notified my property manager who called Coastal Heating and Air Conditioning and I received a call from them within the hour. Although there were a few calls ahead of mine, Coastal agreed to come out that same evening. By 8:30 PM the thermostat was replaced and my heat was back on! I have lived here for over 10 years and Coastal has provided seasonal maintenance for as long as I can remember. I have always found Coastal to be prompt, quick, polite, pleasant and effective. But I especially appreciated them this evening as I knew it was the end of a full week when everyone would rather be enjoying the weekend. Well done!

Without a doubt, this is the B E S T furnace and air-conditioning unit I have bought in my life! The crew installing it took every care to see that it was installed properly, and I have yet to have to call them out to fix anything. I bought it 2 or so years ago, sorry, time speeds by these days.

I just wanted to take a moment to give my feedback on my first experience with Coastal Heating and Air Conditioning. My homes Ac unit went up over the weekend. We all know it peaked in the upper 90s and it was unbearable inside our house. I received a phone call from their office informing the time frame they would arrive. They did arrive during that time window which is a big plus for me because I work alot and cant sit around all day waiting from 8am to 6pm like some companies. They sent out Brody to troubleshoot and possibly fix our AC. He called to let me know he was 15 minutes away. As soon as he arrived within minutes he had troubleshot and was fixing the problem. He was very knowledgeable of his profession. He took time out to explain the problem, how he fixed it and ways to maintain our homes HVAC system. He was very personable and professional. We are very happy we went with Coastal and just as happy they sent a great technician to handle our problem. I have zero affiliation with their company nor do I know the tech they sent out. My only purpose of this review was to give my honest experience of their conpany and to comend their technician. They deserve all 5 stars I gave them.

Ive had my fair share of contractors visiting for a whole host of house-related ailments (roof-7 quotes, HVAC-5 quotes, concrete-3 quotes, shed platform-3 quotes) all within the same 3-4 week period. Coastal was by far the most pleasant and non-pushy service contractor I had to deal with. As Im sitting in the direct path of the nice cold air blowing at me, I can tell you that it was nice to find an established company that had prices that beat the side hustle guys who were going to use their companies resources, and then not be able to provide a service guarantee. Ive already recommended them to a couple of friends, and publicly on social media when someone has asked for a recommendation. Thank you, Coastal, for the great job and workmanship... and for treating my home like it was your own.

This company does not care about their techs. In this crisis they are not providing them with any equipment to help protect them or the families from the virus. While the owners sit in the office and now do not allow the techs to enter the building and sending them out on simple calls not emergency calls there are putting their tech families in harms way while they stay in there closed up office. Privately owned company and very money greedy. SHAME ON YOU

The installers, Omar and Justin, did a great job and were tireless on a hot day. The follow up the next morning is appreciated. I am happy to refer others to Coastal.

I got quotes from 3 different companies to replace my a/c with a furnace and they offered a very competitive quote. They were also willing to offer multiple options of furnace quality so I could choose what specs I wanted and was willing to pay for.

Excellent overall. Michael was prompt, courteous, and professional in his demeanor. He seemed to know his job very well and gave the HVAC equipment a thorough inspection. Im completely satisfied.

This is the 2nd time Coastal has saved my butt in the last 8 months! Once in the summer and again just today! They were the only heating and AC company that I called on both occasions that could come out same day. They came the same day I called. The tech was professional and polite. The bill was a shocker for under an hour of work. I was 213 to replace a small PVC pipe, 120 for maintenance which consisted of only checking to see if it worked, and 89 for the visit! 434 total! Outrageous! Learned my lesson. I will go back to my usual service provider who charges a total of 89 for a routine maintenance and no additional service charge.

My technician just left and, though this was my seasonal winter check -- change filters, check the heater, test the thermostat-- this guy went one step further. Since Im a senior, talking programmingfor me means something related to TV. For Wes, however, it meant programming my thermostat to a steady temp for cooling and heating. Adam was very friendly, knowledgeable and honest when it came to replacing our iWave air filter under warranty.

We own a condominium in Annapolis and have a contract with Coastal to inspect our furnace twice a year. This year I was away when the notice to renew the contract came and then became very busy with holiday events and forgot all about renewal. I found a notice that we hadnt renewed and our contract had expired so I called and renewed. Both people I spoke with were as accommodating as could be. Their service is on time and we have always been happy with their service people and office staff.

The repairman was courteous, fast & knowledgeable. Fixed the problem with my furnace in 5 minutes. I was told by the office that he would be at myplace between 11 & 2. He arrived promptly at 2:00. For waiting until the last minute, however, he did a wonderful job quickly.

Coastal was very responsive and came within 2 hours of our call. The technician did a great job of resolving our problem. George Harris did a great job of helping us select and install the two systems for our house 2 years ago and we have been enjoying the quiet comfort ever since.

Although my tech arrived nearly 2 hours outside of the window provided when I scheduled the appointment, he was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and took time to explain all of my options and what I could expect in the future. I will use Coastal in the future for my HVAC needs.

We have used Coastal Heating and AC for several years to complete the annual service checks. We scheduled our appointment online, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, we requested a morning appointment, but they gave us an afternoon appointment and didnt notify us. We shifted our schedule to accommodate. We were told the technician would be at the house by 1:30 PM. Again, no phone call when he didnt show up on time. We called and were told he would be there at 4 PM. When the technician did show up, he was polite and friendly. Too bad we wasted most of a day waiting for him to show and then had to scramble to get the kids to their after school activities.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We replaced our AC system this winter, hoping to prevent problems with an old system. It has not even been above 85 degrees yet, and the system has failed twice because of poor installation. The first time I had to wait 4 days for them to come and actually connect the 1st floor unit. Now Im on day 3 of waiting for them to fix the drains from the attic unit, which are backing up into my attic. I have to go up there every four hours and manually drain the lines. When I call to try to get someone out here, all I get is that they will call me right back.HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT USE!!!

Im sure the technician did a good job, but changing out a circuit board (on warranty) just seems ridiculous to cost $291. asked the technician if he thought that was reasonable - I dont make reasonable decisions. at least i got a chuckle for the day. a technician from the home warranty company (that couldnt do system warranty work) had come out earlier and diagnosed the circuit board, these guys missed that, charged us $200 for cleaning out the drain pipe, which did allow it to work for a few days but missed the circuit board, then they were going to charge us another visit fee of $89, until i made a bit of a stink. well be looking elsewhere for further work -

My furnace fan could not start up due to a broken capacitor. Coastal charged $208 for the replacing one and $89 for service fee for working less than 1 hour. The capacitor(Genteq 97F9002) price is only around $10. A capacitor stores some energy to help motor start up, as I researched later. If you hear the motor trying to run, but fail to start up. It is very likely the capacitor goes bad. It is very common problem for AC fans. You can search some videos from youtube on how to test a capacitor and replace. It takes 15-20 minutes. Dont let those guys rip you off, or look for other AC firms.

Really unhappy with the customer service here. Scheduled an appointment with them and got told they would show up between 8-12. Well 1 oclock hit and still no one showed up to my house. When I called they said the guy was busy at another job. All that is fine but a simple phone call saying he was going to be late would of been nice. Now I have to pick another day for someone to come out. Wouldnt use this company if you value your free time.
