I woke up this morning to a semi flat tire due to a screw. I immediately gave A. Arundel a call and they said they could see me right away. Fifteen minutes later my tire was plugged and I was on my way to work. Great customer service and price! Highly recommend!

My whole family gets our cars done here now. Taking one in tomorrow actually. They don’t gouge you and overprice you. They tell you what you actually need and when you need it, instead of trying to scare you into paying for a whole lot of stuff you don’t need. I’ve never had one issue with their quality of work and they are very up front with everything. First mechanic place I’ve been to where I’m not left wondering if the work I paid for was actually done or at least done right.

My neighbor recommended this repair shop and I have been to them twice for service since my car reached end of warranty. It is a great experience to deal with these professionals and my 2013 Highlander runs like a new car.

This place is great. It is hard to find an auto repair place that you can trust and I completely trust Ed and company. It is easy to make an appointment (by phone or online) and they do excellent work in a timely manner. I’ve never felt like they “sold” me on unnecessary work, but I also know they won’t let me ride around with a problem. Very good communication skills - explain things clearly. I can’t say enough positive things about A. Arundel Auto Service. There customer service was outstanding, as well as their prices. They where honest about repairs that I needed to make immediately on my 2015 Chevy Equinox, and repairs that I would need to make down the road. I originally went to AAA auto repair in Annapolis and they tried to over charge me by $500.00 on a repair that A. Arundel auto completed for $100.00.

I love this company, they are very customer oriented. They make their customers feel very important and treat them to the highest respect. They inform you exactly whats being done to service your car and if youre not sure if you need anything extra done they will be honest enough to tell you, not at this time. Every time I would take my car in to a dealer repair place or the well known chain mechanics, I would be hassled to repair things that were already repaired, the repair guy trying to charge me twice for service, etc. It was costing me a small fortune to keep my car in good shape. Then my husband and I found A.Arundel Auto! WE LOVE THEM!!!! They are honest and they talk us through the issues with our cars. They also give us their honest opinion on what should be repaired and what repairs should be focused on. Would definitely recommend them!

The best garage in AA county and the state of MD in my opinion. I moved 30 mins south and I still go here. Honest, Quick, and good people. I have been taking both my cars here for years and I have had some major work done. It gets done quick and always lower priced than I thought it would be. If you dont take your cars here your missing out.

This place is amazing. Most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with and a model for any business to follow. On a few occasions I have been sent away saying I dont need a repair and they are not going to charge me. So I can only assume they do that for others but yet their business is booming. I recently ran into a situation with a used car I bought where they went way above and beyond to get me through the inspection process. The prices are more than fair and they do top quality work. Highly recommend.

Ive been taking my cars here since about 1999. Anytime I bring a vehicle in, Ed always explains what work is needed and never pushes work that is not needed. As a female, that is what I appreciate the most. I never feel like I am being sold something that is not needed.Repairs are always done right the first time and if there is ever a question, Ed is always willing to let me stop by and talk to him.If you ever need a good, honest mechanic, I highly recommend A. Horrible Service. I would have given zero stars if I could. Do not use these scam artists. I changed the oil for both of our SUVs. They didnt put enough oil. When I went to another place to change the oil of my 2011 Honda CRV, they said the oil was very low. After changing the oil everything was fine. I just came back from Sears Auto Center. They refused to service my 2015 Honda CRV because there is no oil on the dip stick. I hope I didnt ruin my engine.

He has no interest in robbing you blind - he just wants you on the road with your car running the way it should. Ive taken four cars to these guys for over 7 years. Once I brought in a car with a front headlight that was out and they examined it and just found a loose wire. Fixed it and did not charge anything. Ive gotten great service and good advice at a good price here.

I got the name from a colleague at work. My car was squealing something awful, I called and brought it by on my lunch break. They had me pull right up and had diagnosed and fixed the issue within 10 minutes (loose screw on my alternator by either my husband or a previous mechanic failing to tighten ALL the screws properly). I was on my way quickly with a quiet car and very little money out of pocket! I will be back with bigger problems in the future!

This place is great. I described the issue with my vehicle and the owner told me what he would do to fix the problem. He gave me both a long term and short term solution for the problem and let me decide what to do. Leaving the service center my Focus drives like the day I took it off the lot! I could not be happier with the service and although I as I chose the short term less costly solution I will be returning for the long term solution in weeks to come!

Truck broke down had it towed to this shop. They charged me 100$ to tell me nothing was wrong with it everything seems fine took it home and broke down again on the way there. Customer rep, old dude at the desk at the time, was an ass hole spoke to me and treated me as if I was stupid. I wouldnt take my vehicle there if I were you.

I have been taking my car to Ed for a few years and I recently had him install new tires, but it seems he is getting careless and sloppy in his old age. When I got home I happened to look in the center console and found all of my lock nuts wrapped up in a mechanics rag. I called Ed to ask him about it and he told me that they broke the lock nut key when they were taking the lock nuts off with an impact wrench. He told me that they must have been cheap and that I could go pick some up at Pep Boys.Fine, things break, but what really got me is that he neglected to tell me, when I was there to pick up the car, that they were unable to replace all of the lug nuts. The next day I happened to look at the bag that the lock nut key was stored in and its states on the bag Do not use an impact wrench on the lock nuts. I called him to tell him about this and he got defensive, told me it was not his responsibility and hung up the phone.These were not cheap aftermarket lock nuts. These were OEM, delivered with the car when it was new. If he had simply offered to order me a new set from the dealer at cost I would have been OK with that. Instead, all I got was his crappy attitude and zero interest on his part in resolving the issue.

They get it done right, the first time. Much less expensive than the dealer repair shop. Never try to up-sell you on things you dont need and they will tell you when things the dealer recommends really do not need to be done.I moved to Annapolis two years ago with 2 older cars (a 2008 RAV4 and a 2003 Lexus) and was referred to them by a neighbor. I only use the dealer now for recall repairs. I even gave up on JiffyLube because Eds service is cheaper and the check over his guys includes with an oil change is far more thorough. Real piece of mind. He also saved me a bundle on a set of quality new tires, which can be pricy for a Lexus.Also, good people working there. This place is a real find.

I never leave reviews for any business. but I felt that this business deserved my feedback. I had my oil changed at Sheehy Nissan and told them there was a little vibration in my front when braking. They told me my front brakes needed to be replaced. I took it to Firestone on West st, and they told me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced. I took it to AArundel on the advice of my neighbor. Ed told me that both brakes were ok with about ten to fifteen thousand left on each axle. He said that if you could handle the small vibration that you may as well get the life from them. As a result he won a sale from me for new tires,and Hankook are a very highly rated tire. Ed the owner can talk your ear off , but he is very honest so I would recommend this business to everyone.

Took my car in to have new tires put on. They tightened the lug nuts so much that I could not get them off when I needed to change my brake pads. Typical shop practice, I guess, to use an impact wrench that gets them on so tightly you cant get them off yourself, but Ive always been able to get them off with a long pipe slid over the lug wrench. These were put on so tight, the pipe started twisting my lug wrench!! This isnt the only place that does this but I guess I expected A Arundel might rise above the average shops practices.
