I have always been very skeptical of verizon authorized retailers, but not after my recent experience with Allie S. and Matt G. at this gowireless location (I asked for their names to leave this review).My problem was that a verizon rep lied to me on the phone as I was upgrading to the unlimited plan. He sold me on a certain phone telling me things that are not true and I ended up buying the phone. They set me up to pick up the phone at this location. After I got the phone, I found out that it was not what I expected (and was told from the verizon rep) at all. I put numerous calls into verizon customer service and had several different reps give me several different answers on how to resolve this. They explicitly told me it would not be possible to just go into gowireless and exchange the phone I picked up for the one I actually wanted.This went on for days. Eventually I just went into the gowireless store anyways just to see if they could help me. A short time later, they were able to do the exchange no problem and were extremely pleasant to work with. I wish I would of just went there to begin with.

After going to a corporate Verizon off of Muldoon and being told activating my old phone for a friend was a “lost cause” because it was on the stolen and lost list I went to this store and an employee named Allie(usually works eagle river location) helped us within 25 mins with full activation and no problems whatsoever. Verizon needs more employees like Allie!

I agree with others’ reviews that this store is full of unhelpful employees. I had One helpful encounter with Matthew, which was a plus. Before that and again going back after that has proven that they are uninterested in actually helping and serving Verizon customers. Just drive a little further and go to a real Verizon store.

I would never visit this store again. Go to the nearby corporate store. The initial service was cordial, however when we needed to return the phone the next day, the manager refused to serve us unless we showed our personal medical records saying that we did not have COVID19. We were happy to wear masks, maintain social distance, and are symptom free but that was not good enough. It is unfortunate that the man who served us the night before reprimanded for serving us the night before.

Josh was super helpful, great customer service. He even put my screen protector on for me. Highly recommend this location and request Josh if you want a thorough service.

I do not like dealing with cell phone stores, it is a chore for sure. I begrudgingly went to GoWireless and worked with Matt there to solve some issues I was having. He was timely, patient, helpful, professional, and well versed. If I need help again I will go back to Gowireless and work with Matt. In fact I would go there without trepidation.

I wanted a phone upgrade as my phone was acting up. I did have to wait outside for my turn, and I was screened/questioned related to Covid, however I really appreciated that these practices were in place. Covid is no joke and should be taken seriously at every business. So if you go, plan to bring your patience, knock to let them know youre there, then plan to wait outside or in your vehicle if its a particularly busy time of day. Well it turns out I hadnt backed up my old phone in months, and well I needed that info for my new phone. Josh was extremely patient with me and even allowed me to back up my phone while I ran to get some dinner. Folks, be sure to backup your iPhone before coming to get a new phone!! It will save you and everyone else a LOT of time. Josh was helpful with the upgrade choices and the case/accessory choices as well. I walked out of the store with my new phone protected and ready to use. Thanks!

Wonderful staff who really go above and beyond to help solve any issues youre having with your phone. Theres never a long wait time and they offer great products at affordable prices. I definitely prefer this authorized retailer over the actual Verizon stores in town.

Worst experience yet. every time I go into this store it seems to take over an hour to deal with anything. last week the manager for with me one price today I went in to get the new phone and they wanted $40 more for it. by the time I realized it theyd already switch my service over and when I told him I didnt want the phone then it took an hour to get my service back on to my original phone. Not to mention they were playing rap music with foul language in it inside the store. absolutely positive that will be the last time I go into that service center.

Not only has Lindsay been THE MOST helpful, kind and knowledgeable wireless agent that we have EVER had the pleasure to work with but also she has been THE ONLY employee holding down this entire location! We had an exceedingly difficult time converting our Sprint account over to Verizon, (due to relocation and unavoidable circumstances), and would have no doubt just chosen another carrier IF it hadn’t been for Lindsay’s tireless, patient and relentless effort helping us in every step of the process. Customer service in general these days sucks, I recommend GoWireless appreciate what a quality employee they have in Lindsay, give her the support staff she needs AND find a promotion for this lady. She is just TOO good!

Terrible experience, will not return to this store. I went to the GoWireless location on Tudor on 11/03/2019, intending to trade my wifes old phone for a Pixel 4. I arrived a few minutes after that store opened around 11:00am. The first thing I noticed was that there were no phones on display...odd for a store that is selling phones. There was one employee in the store who was trying to help a customer with a billing error. It took several minutes for this employee to make eye contact and acknowledge that I existed. He then noticed that no phones were on display and began setting them up. I explained why I was there and he seemed eager to sell me a Pixel 4 and input my information to his tablet. The employee then returned to the other customer and I waited approximately 30 minutes until a second employee then showed up.The second employee eventually called me over and did not seem eager to help me at all. When I explained that I was frustrated with the long wait so far, he made no apology or explanation for the poor experience. The second employee asked if the first had gotten the phone yet and restarted the process of taking my information into his tablet. He then promptly told me that they had no Pixel 4s and would have to order these.I am extremely disappointed that I wasted 45 minutes of my time when the first employee could have just told me they didnt have the phone in the first place. Given the poor customer service and disorganization of this store, I will make sure to only use the Dimond Verizon shop from now on.

I had a tremendously wonderful experience with Tori Lillard (Manager) at the 5th Avenue mall in Anchorage, early Dec. 2019, before that location closed. She also continued to provide above excellent customer service to me later in the month as my exchange involved some extra steps & phone calls. She handled it all and made my process seamless! She exemplifies what customer service should be! From reading some comments previous of this Tudor location, I have no doubt the negative things that may exist at that location can be corrected with Tori’s presence! Thank you Tori for your amazing service! During this process I also interacted with Jay & Tommy at the Barbur Blvd location in Portland. Tori made that connection for me & they carried out excellent service.

The manager Chris Hobson tells employees to take their customers phone and leave reviews for them. Also he tells employees that the first no is never the last and pressures employees to get more money out of customers and essentially deceive them. How do I know? I worked under him. Beware!

AWESOME AND AMAZING! As I walked into the store, I noticed the Authorized Reatiler of Verizon sign. I thought that this was gong to turn out to be SUB-PAR EXPERIENCCE but I WAS WRONG!!! Tuns out this place is a HOMERUN!!! Josh at the Tudor Rd Go Wireless Store in Anchorage, AK was very awesome and help me complete my overall transaction. I had 2 months left paying on my current phone, so I had begun shopping for my replacement. Josh lookedup my account, gave me even MORE of an understanding of what I had with my current plan, then showed me the options. No sales pitch, just listened to what I had to say, explaned my options, and gave me his honest opinion as I asked questions. Turns out, I was able to get the brand new Samsung S20 Ultra for me AND get a new phone for the wife as well! I ended up talking to Tori via email, and to Matt in the store, so I have dealt with everyone at this location and will have to say that this is the place to go. I kind of wanted to selfishly keep this as my little secret, but these guys deserve too much credit. Tori gave me time on the phone when I called in with questions, then Matt eased my mind as I waited for my new phone to come in and was trying to make sure all the info on my old phone was ready to transfer. Just a top-notch groupl of people and I look forward to dealing with them for anything and everything with my cell phone needs in the future!!! Thanks for everything guys!!! Oh yeah, and the new Samsung S20 Ultra is SO AWESOME!!!! I’m visiting here in Anchorage, Alaska and forgot some important to me phone accessories and so I go to the location on Tudor in Alaska walk in and a handsome young man to me. Gave me a warm welcome to Verizon how may I assist you my name is Shombe. So my frustration I had upon entering all went away due to his kindness and compassion for my situation I got my own self in. I purchased some much needed accessories and Thanked Shombe for being of great assistance and having such a great attitude.

Really helpful workers, did all they could do to answer my questions and provide solutions. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out of there with no problem thanks to Lindsay!

I came into Verizon today to get phone activated and some issues worked out. Chris and Mike were so helpful and attentive to what I needed to get done. Chris is always who I come to see because he is so professional, patient, and takes his time to get the job done correctly. They are the reason I come to this location and refer all my friends and people here. One thing I did notice though was that the manager Justin was hardly around and when he did come to the front, he really didnt seem to participate in the team effort when customers would arrive or would defer the other two to take care of people. Seemed kinda lazy in comparison to the others that were working hard and in good spirits 😊

Terrible customer service. I called to get information for new service. Tracy couldnt be bothered to talk to me over the phone. Would rather me drive to her location. If someone calls for information then they are told by customer service, I can only talk to you for a couple of minutes. What does that say about a company. Too busy to talk to a potential customer. Terrible experience ordering a phone online. Spent 4hrs on the phone trying to fix the shipping address. However, Spencer is the absolute best. I honestly hate speaking to Verizons customer service call center reps and dealing with them(Exception to a gentleman named Isaiah, he helped as well). Corporate sucks but most definitely be stopping by for the professional help I received yesterday. She is an asset to Verizon. Thank you Spencer!

I wish I had not gone to this store... it can only accommodate 1 person at a time.. Each employee that works there says they are the manager... Anyways had I known that they were not an Official Verizon Store I would have looked elsewhere... They cannot even add your Military Discount to your account, I had to go to the Official Verizon Store in the Diamond Center and they took care of me in about a minute... uploaded my ID Card to my Account ... Also John at the Diamond Store of Go WIRELESS had me pay off my Note 9 512 GB so I could get my other one free and told me that the one I paid off could leave their network on 10/6/2018 .. Now I have the District Manager saying that he cannot allow that and John ,he would have to verify, and Lindsey they fired for stealing according to the gal that worked last week at the Tudor Store ... she also said she was the manager and would send the District Manager a message to contact me... I guess he never got it or he did not care.. when I spoke with him this afternoon he said he had spoken with me many times and I had said that this was the 2nd time...I did the BOGO Pre-order of 2 note 9 512gb 1 blue and 1 Purple which got screwed upI kept getting promised that my phone was being FedEx by Lindsy and her District ManagerJohn told me to buy out the Purple Note 9 512 GB and would get the other one free plus the Purple one can leave the system on 10/6/2018.. I checked my Verizon account and found that someone had removed the credit from my account that is wht prompted me to check before I transferred my wifes phone to other carrier..Lindsey gave me a note 9 128 GB Purple as a loaner till mine was to arrive in the 2 days which never happened.. phone never arrived...Samsung Duo Charger never received... when I spoke to the District Manager, he was well aware of what needed to be done...Still waiting for 1249.00 credit on my accountBig waste of time with this business...Oh.. I ordered a Samsung Duo Charger from Ebay for 80 bucks ... never opened their single Charger.. why would I want a single one when I have 2 phones...

Phenomenal customer service! I brought my phone to the Verizon store on Muldoon, and it seemed like they just wanted to upsell me. However, this location actually wanted to help me with a problem that I was having with my phone and was more competent than the actual Verizon store. I wish I wouldve gone there first!

Told me of great deal...99 cent tablet...sent it 2 lower 48 as gift... ty tudor store.. & fixed my jet pack..

I went to the store with some issues with my phone. The person I talked to was no help at all. He looked at my phone told me the screen was cracked ( you can clearly see that by looking at the screen, but that wasnt the issue) then went through some settings, didnt make any changes or attempt to show me any fixes to my issue, then gives me some completely wrong advice and suggestions. He then talked about phone insurance and the deductable, etc. I figured this was because he had no idea about the phone, the problem and hadnt the simplest idea of to fix it. The manager was right there and he didnt step in to try to help, despite overhearing the conversation and my growing frustration about being told false information. I will not go back to this place. The employees and managers dont know what they are taking about, give bad information and dont try to help you with problems with your phone.
