Great service, nice tandems.

We had some great service yesterday with Mac Bikes. Lots of bikes on offer to choose from including tandems and electric bikes. They werent too far away from the main central station as well. The tandem was a bit too tricky for us to handle but it was a distinctively unique experience nonetheless. Would highly recommend for their rates and services.

We had some complications but all in all it was very good

Worst. Is like an organized robbery, 2 bikes for 1 day 33 euro! This because the guy told us to come no later than 3 hours after the day finished. We arrived earlier than that and they still charged us 2 days saying that the guy was new and doesnt know the rules. This is like robbing clients!

The bikes were fine. So that was good. But first time we came, they were rude and instead of helping, they just held a passionate speech about how we shouldnt rent bikes from them. Sven who then rented out to us was friendly, helpful and competent. But upon returning the bikes, other employees again were rude, in a bad mood and when they disagree or are unsure about the rental policy, youre the one theyre rude to about it. We had a nice day on the bikes, but they seriously need to work on their customer service.

Just went here to buy a bike lock. The staff was extremely busy attending to all the customers but made sure we did not have to wait for long. Productive team.

Nobody tended to me in the shop and they seem to have misplaced a customers stuff.

Their policy is to either copy all your credit card info (!) or make you deposit cash and your ID/passport until the bikes returned. Both of these options are not secure and I recommend you just go to a different place where they accept cash only or a drivers license (yes, they exist). Furthermore the staff was not helpful.

Good place to rent bikes, especially trip to north Amsterdam. Variety size for different age children, and tandam bicycles to carry younger one.

Don’t let them find out you’re a tourist, pretty rude. Especially the taller bald man with glasses definitely avoid him.

I rented a bike charge for 5 days to take my 8-year-old son, who had his foot in plaster, and my wife rented a city bike. The service was quiet, although I speak little English. The bikes were great, well regulated and lights working. The daily rate of the bike charge is € 25, not counting insurance, it is not very cheap, but it was worth every penny, because it took us with agility to very beautiful and interesting places, which we would hardly know on foot, by car or tram.

I was able to borrow a tandem.I was able to enjoy Amsterdam.However, I think bicycle maintenance is insufficient.

Had a very nice day with childrens tandems. Just a pity that you cant actually reserve them. Also not really an explanation about which route you can cycle. In San Francisco that was all better arranged.

Service ok, no surprise. Daily price a little altino (15 euros), but in line with other epigones of the city.

We had a super bike :) for 7 hours at a great price. We even have our baskets on things.

MacBike, in your description the first mention is made that you are a bicycle repairman, but after walking for 25 minutes with my broken bicycle I was told dead nice no we do not repair here. Please change it in the description to avoid a lot of irritate.

People work really terribly slow, great annoyance, but eventually left without a bike.

We came here to bounce because in the place where we were going to rent the bicycles at first they didnt have any left, and we lost out with the change, first for the price, it cost us almost the same to rent 5 bikes an hour here, which It had taken us a couple of days to rent three all day with insurance on the site we initially wanted to go to. Second for the schedule, while the one we were going to close closed at 19, here they close at 17:45 (I dont know the schedule in other chains outside these two), and therefore, we were forced to take only one hour, and not the three that we had initially planned, since if not, we would have to take a whole day rate.What yes, it should be noted that the staff was very friendly, and the bikes, although a bit heavy for my taste, were spotless, and were constantly maintained

They may be the best known, they have stores all over Amsterdam, they have good bikes, but they are expensive and used.They only have three rates, one hour, three hours and 24 hours and they do not apportion, if you want to rent in the afternoon and walk for more than 1 hour you pay 3 hours.They cost me less 3 bikes all day on Starbike than 5 bikes an hour with these people.
