Jeremy, Julio, Angel and others were professional, timely, and priced right. One of the repairmen even came out after hours and charged our old system to help us until new unit was installed.

Our a/c was short cycling and unable to maintain a comfortable temperature, so we called Stoffer’s. Dakota came out to assess the situation, and fixed it quickly. He was professional and knowledgeable, and was happy to explain how to maintain the system and identify potential future issues. I’ve been putting off replacing our upstair’s AC / Heater unit for a couple of years. Stoffer’s was recommended to me by my brother in law (who is a difficult man to please! 😄).I reached out to them and was immediately helped by a very pleasant lady who set up a convenient time for Jeremy, the owner to come look at our job.Every step of the process went smoothly...from setting the appointment and showing up on time to providing an affordable and detailed proposal. Jeremy and his team were able to get our work scheduled and completed quickly.Julio and his crew arrived on time, removed my old unit, installed our new 3 ton American Standard AC / furnace and completely cleaned up after themselves. This place is AMAZING!The Dispatch lady (Linda I think her name was) was So friendly, understanding, and very quick to get someone out to my house just 1 hour later that same day! Then My technician, DAKOTA showed up and was SOOOOO nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every thing he was doing and even went above and beyond to fix some not so well placed wires and ended up rewiring some things just to be nice y’all! When it came time to the always dreaded bill, ((nothing in AC/HVAC is cheap)) it was lower than other quotes to just “come out and look”! Dakota even made the wiring easier for me to see/read and troubleshoot for next time! Best experience I’ve ever had and would rate them 10 out of 10! Will only use them again if I have any issues with my ac! 😊

The best thing about Stoffer’s is that you feel like you are trusted family; they truly care and go out of their way to make sure your heater and air conditioning systems are working to potential. They get the leaves out of the system, put it on blocks, install drainage pipes, and check the pressures and amps. I am not an expert, but they communicate clearly, so I can understand. I called Stoffers when my air conditioner was not cooling on a Saturday afternoon. They were at my house within a couple of hours and quickly fixed the problem. Pete was awesome! I will definitely give them a call for any further issues I may encounter in the future.

The repair man was very nice. I told him what I thought the unit was having trouble cooling. He checked the freon found it a little low and added some. Stated it took a little less than a pound. He told me the fwe, I gave him a check, then he gave me a receipt and left. I wad a little surprised that he did not. check anything else out, because every repairman has always done that. But it is cooling good and I guess that is what he came out to fix. Not to check it out to make sure everything was working good. Thank you

Joseph with Stoffers Air Conditioning & Heating is a beast! When he tells you he is checking everything he is CHECKING EVERYTHING!!! He ultimately found a bare wire that was shorting the upstairs unit causing the breaker to trip repeatedly.If you need need help troubleshooting and fixing your units please do yourself a favor and call Stoffers Air Conditioning & Heating!Thank you for great service!

Not only were they early, which I told them was fine because I would be at home, but they were nice, efficient, great price and the most important were fine with my dogs! They were recommended by another friend, and I will highly recommended them. They even made suggestions and gave prices but were not pushy or even suggestive. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name, but I will be using them for my summer service.

We have been using Stoffers for the past four years in multiple houses. Their pricing has been very fair and they are responsive. Their company is always courteous and they even take their shoes off and lay mats down to keep your floors clean. I trust them to make an accurate diagnosis and complete quality work.

Awesome company. My A/C was not working properly on a hot summer day. Called Stoffers around noon and was told they would come after 5pm. Turns out they showed up around 3pm, earlier than expected. The technician was friendly and knew what the problem was off the bat. Quickly repaired and went as far to make some adjustments. Great service.

We had a problem with our home warranty people. They said our ac compressor was bad and would not honor the warranty because it was a pre-existing condition. Plan had only been in effect for 5 days. Called Stoffers for a second opinion. They were here in 3 hours. Technician looked at it. Said home warranty guy had torn up the contactor. He found a bug inside the contacts they had caused it to stop. He replaced it and had it running in 30 minutes. There was nothing wrong with the compressor. Bruce was great and we really appreciated him being honest about what was wrong. Very professional!

From the first service call to complete installation, they have been 5 star. We received quotes from 3 other local companies but Bruce sold us on Stoffers. Among the cost and services offered, Bruce mentioned some problems we were currently having and solutions to fix. While they were out installing, the guys fixed those issues. I do not recommend a company that cares absolutely NOTHING about customer service, or how to speak to people with respect. The lady who answers the phone is shockingly rude EVERY time. I have never witnessed such disrespect from a company. And this company claims to be a trusted company...offering reliable air conditioning & heating. Yeah. Right. Id rate it zero stars if it would let me.

I have had several experiences with this company over the past 5 years. The repairmen are the best. If I was rating only them I would give an off the charts rating, however, I agree with previous customers who have said the women who answers the phone and schedules the jobs is very disrespectful. Is she related to the owner? Has she been working there too long? I cant understand why someone thinks it is okay to speak to their customers this way. 5 years is long enough. I will not be using their services again. I think for my business I should be spoken to much more politely.

My air conditioner went out last night and so I called the very next morning and they were here first thing in the morning and Jeremy worked on my AC unit and he got me going again and now my house is cool as a cucumber and I really appreciate the service the courtesy and the kindness that y’all showed now I know why every person I call recommends this company and I also wanna thank Vicky too because she was real kind and helping me set up the appointment and getting everything going from there I’ll be happy to do business with them in the future if I have anymore problems with my air condition.

Moved to Alvin in 2013 and have used Stoffers EXCLUSIVELY until recently. Stoffers was called every year to come out and service my units (2) and in 2016 had them install a brand new unit for my downstairs living area. Went into the attic recently to investigate a strange noise the blower was making and realized there was conditioned air blowing out of the joints on the unit due to these joints only having tape and no mastic (as building code requires). Contacted Stoffers to come out and repair the joints, to which they notified me that there was a one year warranty, and they would be required to charge me a service call. I argued that this was due to improper installation (which shouldnt have a statute of limitations) and I wasnt asking for anything free, I just wanted what I had paid for. I was also a little perturbed that I had paid them to service the unit in May, and now in September my attic is being air conditioned because theres cold air blowing out of every joint on the unit. NO DICE...…..was told I would be charged a service call. I proceeded to leave their office and went straight to the HVAC supply house and bought a bucket of mastic. Climbed in the attic, replaced all of the tape on the joints, applied mastic, cleaned up all of the old HVAC parts left there by lazy service people, and voila...……..$13 dollars and one hour labor and its fixed as it should have been...……..and all I can figure is that Stoffers didnt feel like my business was worth $13 bucks and one hour of labor...…….as a result of this they will never work for me again...…….and what really chaps my hide is that now I have to look for another HVAC service company. I will have my upstairs unit replaced this next spring, and guess who WONT be doing it??………..$13 bucks and an hour of labor...……..what a shame!!

Our ac unit bit the dust so we had to replace it and Stoffers has gone above and beyond to take care of it! Two of their technicians, Bruce and Ryan, came this morning at 8:30 and seriously worked non-stop to get it done ASAP. They we’re done by 10:45! The best customer service from those two guys. I highly recommended and am glad we have an icebox ac now! :)

The fan motor on my condenser went out after hours on a Friday night. I called several AC companies who told me that they couldnt send a technician out until the next morning. Jeremy, the owner, answered my call and was at my house within an hour to assess the situation. He replaced the fan motor that night for a minimal price so we wouldnt have to stay at my in-laws house!!!I will definitely be using them again.
