I LOVE this nail salon. The girls are so much fun, pleasant and 100% thorough with any nail service I have had. I have not used a different nail salon in almost 5 years. Highly recommend it here!

Good at polishing but last night this one lady used a razor to remove callus from my feet and mistakenly cut me. My foot is kinda sore this morning.

Today I went in to get my brows done and the wait was crazy. The lady said 10 mins and I waited for 30 mins before I left. That’s not okay for brows. I get things are more busier since vaccines but They always cut me on my feet & hands and DONT USE THE ATM!! I’ve been coming here since 2019 but today was the last day for sure.

Quick and friendly service. The good quality massage chairs are nice too. Sometimes, the ladies can be in a rush to get you done, but they do a decent job. Rose is amazing! Highly recommend her.

They dont paint evenly. Looks like I did it myself. Lady had an attitude when I asked if she could correct something. Spoke to me out loud in front of other Guests, about how I didnt know what I was talking about. It was embarrassing. I went in again and saw an employee using the nail tools to clean the cuticles of her nails. She just tossed it back in the drawer, without cleaning for the costumers who were coming in.Not very relaxing at all. And they think over complementing you will make it better.

I had sns dip powder done. She cut me several times with the drill and the nails are not shaped well at all. And left polish all over my fingers/under nails. What a waste of money.

Bad service, this is the worst nail salon my wife have ever been to

I’ve been a customer for years, I’ve always used either Michelle or Jenny and they are great. I have sensitive skin and they’ve always had a soft touch. They even remember my favorite colors every time and never made me wait when I had an appointment.

I love my nails, kinda upset it seems every nail salon has increased their prices during COVID. 52 bucks for a refill and gel polish. They look clear but the color is OPI put it in neutral

Terrific, precise pedicure

I had my nails done by Nina with regular nail polish. They lasted over two weeks which is unheard of. Nina was kind and professional. The store is clean with new chairs. I will definitly go back.

What a wonderful surprise. Efficient and remarkably friendly service. In and out within an hour. Slightly pricey. Close to home though.

This place is absolutely terrible. I went by and received terrible, horrific service. I was criticized for the length I wanted and my nails aren’t very long. Maybe a quarter inch from my finger tip. As well as i was told I gave the technician a hard time as i was only explaining what I wanted to be done for my nails. I didn’t receive the service I expected. I’ve actually never been treated so horribly. Then i was asked to pay before the service was complete and my nails were bare. When i stated i want to pay at the end. The technician said well you can go then. Like wow. I want to pay at the end so i can’t even get my nails painted?? I felt stereotyped as an African American woman and i felt tested. The technician even yelled at me to never come back. DO NOT GO HERE!

Absolutely ridiculous! had 10:00 appointment, nothing until 10:45. then sat in chair and waited another 15 minutes. then a rush job and when mentioned how rushed/quick short massage on legs and hands, got the answer of i have another customer! what was i chopped liver? along w/reusing the toe dividers, really?! rude and uncaring. really dont know how they stay in business.

The best place ever. Every technician is pleasant and great at doing manicures and pedicures. Highly recommended for a great job and fun experience.

I love coming here :) T is always meticulous and does a great job with my nails...plus she has a very sweet and cheerful personality!

Waxing room is dirty

It was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. First of all, no one greeted any customers. They didnt advise me how long it will be for a pedicure and manicure. I had to wait for over 50 minutes. They sent me back to get started with the pedicure. Sat there with no water, no nothing for over 20 minutes. Then the lady Said it will be 5 minutes. When in reality, it was longer than that. I had to wait and then I grabbed a lady and ask her to get the water going while I sat on the pedicure chair. Left the water on extremely hot. Like I understand its Friday but the owner or manager needs to VOCAL about actual wait times and HIRE more people for Fridays and Saturdays! Never will I come back. I am all about supporting small businesses but this one is a NO GO!

I have been 3 times since they are right around the corner from me, and I just keep hoping itll be better next time. They are sloppy with filling and shaping nails and every one of the technicians I have seen has argued with me about the length (I like my nails short) and tried to keep my nails long. The last two times Ive been there, they have tried to not give me the color I want (a dark green). First saying they were out, then when I pointed it out in their drawer, the first lady tried to tell me that wasnt the right color and she started showing me every color other than the one I wanted. The last time the lady even got another technician to start picking out colors to convince me against me choice. Whats their beef with the color Christmas in plaid???

Everything was all good until they1. Openly took the toe dividers out of a girls toes in front of me and tried to put them in my toes.2. Kept clipping my actual skin when she clipped my fingers nails

Each time I visited this salon it became worst. I overlooked the bad nail painting and the cut to my finger during my second visit. The 1.5 hrs wait time and poor customer service (rude and snappy) the third time was the final straw for me!

Service can vary , sometimes I leave with great service other times not satisfied with the results or service.

Long review but info to consider before visiting this salon...I usually dont do this but i dont want another person to experience what Ive witnessed and encountered at this salon. Occassionally, Ive visited this nail salon (definitely not a spa) over the course of 4 yrs because its the closest one to my house, mostly to get my eyebrows done (its so hard to find a person that can do your natural eyebrows perfectly) but I stopped getting my nails done at this salon due to 1. sanitation (they do not use new tools or properly sanitize their tools before/after each customer. I watched a tech finish a pedi, rinse off the tools with no soap and start working on a new customer...this salon is stuck in the 90s and is obviously not aware of all the health issues customers can encounter when using the same tools without properly cleaning #BoardOfHealth), 2. customer service (the manager/owner is rude and acts like its a privilege for you to spend your money there and not an option for you...like there arent hundreds of other salons/spas in the DMV area...shes also condescending and acts like there arent better salons and REAL SPAs that provide better services with modern technology, diversity, & great customer service..smh.) 3. wait time (they lie about how long youll actually wait in order to keep you, 5 minutes turn into 15 and even 30), and 4. the outdated policy of paying before services are rendered (this policy was implemented in the 90s & early 00s by salons in certain areas to prevent customers from leaving without paying their bill ((understood)) AND possibly to prevent customers from messing up their nails when going to look for their preferred method of payment at the end of service...I dont think its the latter because it not enforced with all customers...ijs) This policy is not only outdated but its only implemented with certain customers so its not a standard policy for ALL. The owner thinks that because she says its a policy that its right or justifies her selectivity of who and when its enforce (profiIing much)...just be consistent or dont do it at all. FYI: in full transparency this has only happened to me a few times at this salon but I witnessed it happen to someone else yesterday and the manager was SO RUDE that I had to take a stance which I did and Im writing this review. The newer salons and some that are in certain areas dont ask for you to pay until the work is done, just like any other reputable business in this day and age...as you can tell, I absolutely do not recommend this salon for the many reasons Ive listed above and I will not be getting my eyebrows done here anymore...which sucks because I really liked my tech but I dont like how they treat people here...this review is based on my experience at this salon so visit at your own risks and if you dont experience this same treatment than good for you. Ive been going to a new nail spa on King Street that is absolutely amazing and is an actual Spa...(Azelea Nails & Spa...ask for Joanna and thank me later). Great service and quality for the same price. Dont spend your money here, its not appreciated and you get bad service for the same price as if you were to go to a much nicer spa. Go where you feel good about where you spend your money and youre able to enjoy your moments of self care and relaxation. This salon is outdated, unprofessional and needs to be renovated badly...go check it out if you dont believe me (but make sure youre up to date on all of your shots) and then go visit Azelea.Its so sad because people really get complacent with getting bad or mediocre service and think that its the standard...well its not. We wont thrive, if we dont continue adapting and improving ourselves, well businesses should do the same. Just my 3 cents...I digress. #KnowThePowerOfYourDollar

I have had shellac twice back to back at this salon! The first time it started to peel off within the week and then I ended up just peeling it off. Two weeks later I figured I would try again. Same thing!! I paid both times, didnt make it a big deal and brought it to their attention. However, this second time I went in to show them what happened and they said my nails produced oils. I was like ok just take it off since its only been a week and just paint it since it wont work. They had the nerve to charge me for it! Where is the customer service!! I even called the owner/manager and no response. Never going back to this place. Side note- Ive been getting shellac for years so why all of sudden it wont stick I dont know.

Cindy did my nails so thin that several of them broke in a few days. I got a full set after a co worker told me this place was good. But her nails always break too. Now I know why.

Just had the best pedicure Ive ever had!!! I took a chance on this salon, Im here traveling with my husband & looked up nail salons in the area. Cheap and clean place, not fancy but techs are super nice.

From the start nobody welcoming me or in anyway acknowledged me. The smell of chemicals was so strong that my eyes got watery. They performed a poor quality of work. I will not return or recommend.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Such sloppy and rushed work by Kate. I literally had 5 nails that were filed too far left during a fresh set that another tech is currently soaking them off. Will never return here. Don’t waste your money

My nail tech (Tao-not sure how its spelled) was great. Read a lot of poor reviews, but I had anan overall positive experience. Got a regular pedicure and shellac manicure for $60. The massage chair was fairly used, but worked ok and she did a great job listening to a specific nail request. She also did my manicure and this was the FIRST time any nail tech cleaned under my nails without me having to ask. The first color I picked was out of stock, the second color was too old and wouldnt have stayed on my nail well, but the third color I chose turned out extremely well and will be the only color I get from now on! I am beyond happy with the polish, theres no bumps or flaws, she adequately covered the sides and tips of my nails, no extra residue on my skin around the nail. I didnt have to wait for a pedi and went straight into my mani afterwards and in total everything took about an hour. The salon is small in size so its hard to walk through everyone, but try it out for yourself and hopefully you also have a good experience.

Been here twice... Both times I got a shellac manicure. The first time was decent enough - the tech cut a little too far into my cuticles but took care of it and the manicure looked great. They lasted a good three weeks.The second time was definitely not as good. The gel seems kind of like it was slopped on. Theres plenty under my nails making it look like I have a weird growth under a couple of them and theres even a hair (possibly from the brush used to fix up my french tips) stuck in the polish on two of my nails!Like many places, it depends on the person you get...

The worst experience at any salon or anywhere! I woulf give negative ratings if google would allow it!Not only did the tech use the same uncleaned cuticle clippers from the customer before me, she was rude and absolutely unpleasant!She started fine; when she got to the massage, she was so distracted and had zero pressure. When i urged her to put more pressure, she snapped and told me to go to the massage place next door if thats what i wanted. I was appalled and told her im outta there! She brought me an extremely dirty towel to clean my feet and upon telling her how filthy it was, she was extremely rude!I requested to speak to a manager and she told me there was none and that i had to pay. Other workers got involved and all of them started to yell and verbally harassed me.I literally left the place in tears!!!Stumbled upon this place and went in just to have a relaxing time. Instead it spoiled my entire day!! Absolutely horrible experience.

Worst place to get your nails done, they dont get the corners of your nails and always try to talk you into getting things you dont need, NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! After I paid $43 the last wouldnt even give me one last coat.

I dont know how their nail service is, but do NOT get your eyebrows waxed here. My brows are not the hardest to work with by far, but when I went in all I needed was a clean up. They were already arched, and tweezed, I just wanted them cleaned a little more for my date with hubby that night.Not sure her name, but she completely messed up ( hubby noticed they were off, and you know thats saying something because I could change my eye color and he wouldnt catch it ) She took too much off of the front of my right eyebrow and too much off the end. She managed to pull some of the hair in the middle of my left brow, I have no idea how since she was just going around the edges. She effed up the shape and took too much hair off.They are growing back in now but Im still upset. I have never had anyplace mess up a clean up. I would rather have had her not clean it up that well and LEAVE hairs instead of just haphazardly waxing away at my brows.

I walked in for my appt and the ventilation is so poor that I instantly got a headache. As bad as I needed my nails done, I could not stay.Ive been getting my nails done for 20 years and that is the strongest smelling nail salon Ive ever been into.

Yesterday I went to nail hurricane which is in Alexandria va they do my wax but its very bad they dont care about nothing. Also there working s very fast please dont dont go to this store after this Im not going again

Went for a regular pedicare and manicure. Very sloppy job with the basics--cleaning cuticles, filing, and smoothing nails. To make it worse, my cuticle was cut so it was a painful experience.

My nails were rushed and were very crooked.

They cut my skin on my right toe to close. Ive called the manager, and no answer. They talk to much while theyre working.

The nail technician was sloppy and unprofessional.

My husband and I went yesterday while on vacation and while doing my pedicure the the lady was so rough , she cut my toes and wasn’t even apologetic when I told her . I woke up this morning and my toe is swollen, red and hurts a lot . I for sure won’t be back but if I were you , I’d find a different salon to go to !
